You know, I did feel like SOMETHING was off with the movement speed while playing Pig yesterday, but I was sure that it was just my imagination. They couldn't have actually bugged the game and made Killers slower, could they?

If you make the game free you open it up to botters, but the game is getting heavy on the DLC side so they should give more killers/survivors for free at the base game for current price imo. The older ones, y'know?
This. I think we've long since reached a point where BHVR can afford to have multiple non-licensed chapters bundled for free with the base game on all platforms.

I read that as being Clown's power. But his power is "Afterpiece Tonic". I don't want to get too carried away with speculation, but sounds like Clown might have more than 1 power.

I don't believe any add-ons for the clown have changed. I think this is the same thing that happened with Billy and Leatherface add-ons where the changed text went live before the actual change was pushed.
Basically we have a teaser for clown's meme add-on.
Not just that. Notice how it makes reference to an "Afterpiece Antidote."

Update has a number of bugs that were not fixed from PTB, as well as allegedly new ones.

Sorry to break it but I think it’s a bug I don’t think they nerfed the perk this looks like a bug.
I mean, it is listed under "Known Issues."

They actually did that with the Clown and GhostFace PTB, I don't know why it's not a permanent thing.
To be fair, I'm pretty sure they only did it with Ghostface because he was quite messed up to the point where there was no point in testing him.

I like the video on Twitter where Victor is Mr. Bubz. 😝

Pretty weak. All three of them could use buffs IMO.

New player here, mostly a Freddy main, and I've seen some old videos of Freddy gameplay and I like the method of having to pull a survivor into the dream with you compared to passive map-wide sleeping. Why was he changed exactly?
Critics of old Freddy disliked that he had to wait until a Survivor fell asleep (which could take several seconds after inflicting the sleep onto them) in order to do anything to them. Also, Freddy had zero abilities at all to deal with a Survivor while in a chase.
-
Yeah, I'd be down for that. It ain't really worth using as-is.

Many MANY players have gotten effective, game winning use out of Surge. You’ll find many posts on these forums alone supporting how underrated it is. With that in mind it’s safe to say that if these players are stomping survivors, then if Surge’s cooldown were removed it would be way too OP.
Unnerving could use maybe some small tweaks, but it’s not totally ineffective. Players get too caught up on its current effect on gens, and dismiss how it also affects healing as well. With that in mind Unnerving can actually compliment a slugging build pretty well. Survivors trying to help teammates up before the killer has left the area are much more likely to be less focused on the smaller skill checks because they’re too busy trying to get their teammate up and watching for if the killer returns.
It’s really silly to form a solid opinion on Coup De Grace until after it’s been extensively used live. Remember, sometimes what changes the course of a game can be that one down that occurred fast instead of a long chase. Think of instances where an injured survivor goes to vault a window but a lunge just misses. In theory Coup De Grace could guarantee a hit in those circumstances even when initiating the lunge earlier than usual. All I’m saying is screaming “weak” after only a fortnight of use to a limited player base is way too early.
As someone who has been using Surge for some time on my meme build, I think both the cooldown and the basic attack requirements need to go.

I did, it's not my fault if you have no imagination. Maybe try adding a few extra OoOs to your ghost sound?
When you actually have somewhat of a plan of how this gameplay mechanic should function, try pitching the idea again.

An idea can be elaborated upon. If you want to garner support for your idea, elaborating upon it would be very beneficial.

Yeah, this is the usual case. But Killers claim that they will be able to play "more chill" when they know they play against Solos.
No Killer (and I mean: really no Killer) will equip Meme-Perks when going against 4 Solos.
Agitation + Iron Grasp + Mad Grit + Surge has been my go-to Killer build for months. (Surge less so than the other three) ;)

I don't really like using the word "overrated," but I think Corrupt Intervention is not nearly as good as some people say it is.
-
Here's an idea for the issue of picking up traps: What if Trapper can have Bear Traps teleport to him from a distance? Like, if he is in a certain range of one that he is looking at, there could be a little icon hovering over the Trap's aura (similar to the icon that Freddy uses to know which gen he is going to teleport to). Then he can hold his hand out, and the Bear Trap he is looking at can materialize in his hand. We're in a realm where the Entity can already do whatever the hell it wants, so no need to worry about flavor explanations.

Bam, now your teammates AND the killer are invisible to you as a ghost. Do you or do you not support ghost gameplay, sir?
How am I to support the ghost gameplay idea when you haven't actually explained what it is beyond "now you're a ghost WOOOOooooOOOOOooooo"?

Actually Microsoft is very open to things like this. They've brought their exclusive's to other consoles before like Cuphead and such. They don't care about the console wars.
They're open to it in very limited forms. I don't think they would put one of their flagship IPs on rival consoles.

Yea, once in a few matches such a scenario would happen LUL idk, imo it's just bad.
I don't agree? Not if it had no cooldown and no hex status attached to it.

I don’t know. This is a theory but I think the Twins will have the locker tech cause they were supposed to come out last week but they didn’t do I think they delayed the chapter from last week to this week so they can program the locker tech
I have seen a few people say the locker tech thing is scheduled to be added to the game December 8th, but I myself have not been able to verify that.
-
Highly doubt Microsoft would allow that to show up on PS4/PS5/Nintendo Switch.

Nobody would use that even if it wasn't a hex and even if it didn't have a cooldown. The perk is just bad and buffing it while keeping its effect to a viable level would make the perk oppressive.
I don't believe that it would still be bad. If you make it so it will always work on every M1, scenarios will inevitably come up where a Survivor gets screwed over by it.

Thank you! I’d love to see something like this that gently suggests to newer players that camping isn’t ideal. They don’t get full-on punished for doing it, but they learn that there are more effective uses of their time.
Now I’m starting to wonder if this perk should apply to 1st hook stage as well. Is that OP?
I would put the smoke bomb on either first or second hook (leaning toward first, personally, to guarantee that it properly fires off) but not both.Actually, on second thought, I think the effect is restricted enough that it would be fine being applied to both 1st and 2nd hook.

Ah yes. But It's okay killers can see profile names and dodge as they see fit.
For what it's worth, I fully support hiding Survivor names in the lobby.
-
Some form of expansion of the current Survivor UI (for Survivors only) that lets Survivors have a general idea of what other Survivors are doing. More icons like generator to indicate repairing, totem to indicate cleansing, some other icon to indicate being in a chase, etc. etc.

@TAG I think you're so against this because you're someone who enjoys being toxic. With a limit and maybe video footage of offender in question, this could actually be a good thing. But again, what was I thinking suggesting something to encourage people to not play like dbags? There's a huge difference between skill and blatant toxicity
As long as it remains highly abusable, it would never work. There's a reason why the devs have said no to the idea every time any sort of variation of it has been brought up.
There's a huge difference between skill and blatant toxicity
Not to the people who would abuse such a system.
-
Yes. This is why I say your idea would encourage toxicity.
-
Your suggestion would encourage toxicity because it would encourage toxic players to put players they lost to on an avoid list.
-
@Dpooly said:
@TAG I have considered it before starting to post, maybe people will realize 'Hey, people don't like when I'm toxic, maybe I should show a little sportsmanship' when they have longer queues. One can dream though, I forget alot of the community revels in their toxicity and understand why they wouldn't want a feature like this though.
Except there's nothing stopping players from avoid-listing opponents who committed the toxic act of being good at the game. So no.
-
In this game, one side has the risk of being affected much harder than the other. Consider that in a given match, a single player can theoretically be put on an avoid list by 4 opponents. Consider what happens when that repeatedly happens.
-
Oops, I just realized I confused Norman Bates with Patrick Bateman. Silly me.
-
His Killer power and perks would have to all be based around squares.
The Survivor would be Telly from Sesame Street, whose perks would all be based around triangles.
-
Yeah, that is what I am saying. It allows you to not get paired up with them on the same time. Overwatch already tried an avoid list for opponents. They ended up doing away with it because it ended up being highly damaging.
-
@Dpooly said:
@BigBrainMegMain Exactly, kinda like how Overwatch has a 3 person cap. With limitations, it could be more beneficial than abusable.
Overwatch, from what I see, does not let you ban opponents. Only teammates.
-
The game would be better off with both moris and keys being nerfed into the ground.
