I think a good way to do Cross-Progression would be carry over everything, if two consoles have matching dlc you get compensated in the form of auric cells. Same goes for duplicate cosmetics.

This is probably Sony/Microsoft things. They don't want to lose the revenue they gain selling the base game and DLCs on their stores.
I was thinking that too, but even if they can’t bring cross-progression to PS4 and Steam, why can’t they allow Xbox to Microsoft Store on PC.

I got a few.
- The right stick is the only thing that matters during rushing. Left stick does nothing (except during a slam so you can move a little to line up your next rush). Think Billy, not Oni.
- Release/ease up on the right stick before a slam so you don't start spinning whenever you hit a wall.
- Learn your sensitivity so you can flick in a direction after a slam to quickly rush again. This'll be important to learn once you get the general feel for his power down.
- Rush recovery add-ons are useful if you keep missing rushes. Arguably better training wheel add-ons than the monocle.
- Some maps are just really hard to play as him. Preschool and Lery's are nightmares. Don't feel bad about losing.
- If you get tired of losing too much just turn crossplay off. The survivors there are kinda Pepega, not gonna lie. Don't tell anyone I said that. Queues are faster with it off anyway apparently.
Practice makes perfect and Blight needs a ton of practice. Don't expect to be great at him in the first week, or even the first month. Just keep playing and learning.
When I first heard about this killer I was hopping it would be a mixture of Billy and Bubba, having Billy’s speed and mobility , and Bubba’s control. This comes at the cost of being unable to insta down.

I’m rank 4 and I occasionally get Killer tips.
-
I believe a killer based around Jack The Ripper wouldn't really stir up much controversy, since he was a killer from a century ago, and not a more recent serial killer, like the Zodiac Killer. Also the name Jack the Ripper has been used in different places, a hunter in Identity V, and a nickname for Raiden in Metal Gear Solid. So they could do something similar to GhostFace, and just use the name and make a completely different character with a different backstory.

The Doctor is free and can do it easily. Just play a farming game with him to get it if you can't with your mains.
Doctor isn't free on PC, you need to buy the sparks of madness chapter.

OP is talking about the Burn-Mechanic. Not about Flashlight Blinds.
Yeah I understand that, but the person I quoted was arguing that any thing that causes the killer to become fearful of the survivor should be removed.
-
@DTJObe said:
I completely forgot about Nurse's burn... If the Spirit can't be burned, then no one else should be either. It's just a ridiculous mechanic that can make the killer fearful of the survivors. That should never happen.
I mean by that logic shouldn't we remove flashlights, DS, and the ability to rescue survivors by dropping the pallet on the killer. All these situations can instill fear within the killer.
-
Yeah that edit looks way better
-
I absolutely adore the radio add-on idea, since as soon as PH was revealed I wanted his TR to just be static.

No

Ding ding ding, we have a winner! :D
Seriously though, can we NOT have a repeat of what happened with the chapter 16 announcement fiasco?
I thought a lot of people quite liked the Silent Hill chapter, I did and I never played Silent Hill outside of watching a few videos.

99ing the exit gate is completely fair. Killers get NOED, blood warden, and can use Moris (and most newer killers have built in Moris due to perks) killer mains need to stop whining. As some who plays both killer and survivor I have to say I have an easier time playing killer bc I can easily down and hook survivors and am permitted to "babysit" an area waiting for rescues resulting in more hooks)
Oh come on every single survivor talks like NOED has no counter, just do totems. Not many people care enough to run Blood Warden, and most Mori related perks require some sort of work to be put into them, on the topic of offerings I would agree there.
Survivors have DS, BT, Adrenaline, and various other meta perks.
So in my eyes a regressing door percentage would be completely fair.

Yes portal has to be active and the range is extremely small. They basically have to be on it.
Jeez, might as well not show anything at all in that case, the portals aren’t hidden by any means. I hope they consider raising up that range just a tiny bit, might make Demo more useful to play since his teleporting is pretty much a guessing game at that point when there is less than 3 gens done. Unless I’m playing him completely wrong.

Grabs are ######### all over the place. It bounces between vaulting a window and running a few steps before being jolted back to a gran animation, to starting the grab animation, only to get to watch survivors do a full unhook and leave before you're even allowed to swing.
So if your locker grabs feel different, whether that's good or bad overall, I very much doubt it was intentional.
I mean their good for me I guess but they do feel cheap as most of the time they feel undeserved. I did a match as survivor, and yeah I was outta the locker and he still grabbed me, I’ll try again and attempt to get some footage.
-
My only problem with this DLC so far is that they chose Heather over James Sunderland.
-
I personally believe James should’ve been the survivor since, if I’m remembering the lore correctly, Pyramid Head was a monster created specifically for his story.

I think it’s not best judging a Killer’s performance on a Basement Camping NOED situation. It doesn’t reflect the Killers ability XD
Yeah I was mostly referring to the chase part, the camping is a very boring play style.
-
Dang I actually liked playing on Haddonfield and Hawkins.

@Cheers said:
I'd be against this.
Moris need a nerf definitely, but they don't need a change which killers have no control over, even if it's a 15% chance.
How would you try to nerf it?
-
@Yrakaz4 said:
Cool idea, but i feel the percentage would have to be lower. Similar to escaping a hook. Base would probalby be set to 4%.
Also like hooks, would you only be able to escape it once? Or any time they tried to mori you throughout the match?
I would say you can do it as many times they try to mori you, or to prevent tunneling, they could make it to where you can only attempt to mori each survivor once.

Not to mention the huntresses, deathslingers and 360 survivors.
I’m an idiot how do I forgot about those guys.

This is something I have wondered for awhile. Most games cross platform sucks. Because using a mouse and keyboard is usually stronger then a controller. But in DBD a controller is more then fine to play with. So I feel like it's the perfect cross platform game.
Console survivors might have a hard time against PC plagues, but that’s the only issue I can think about.
-
I still think adding a totem counter would be a good balancing option. That way saying “do bones” would have more weight to it. With a counter you can also know if your team is doing totems as well.
-
A good clown, jeezus the many bottles they can throw just seem to suck the fun outta chases.
-
If they did a robot survivor they could make it bleed oil instead of blood.

Don't bother looping, just throw pallets down. Very entertaining game play, I know. But that's pretty much all ya can do
So his entire deal is to get rid of looping, and force drop pallets.
cool killer
-
Why don't they make it to where you automatically safety pip when someone DCs.
-
Took me a second to see what was wrong, its the map name not going away right?
-
I thought Doc was free?
-
Was that thread title a mother frickin Shin Megami Tensei reference.
-
Imagine Doom Slayer as a killer.
-
I also realized that it can be hard to hear footsteps, for me at least since I have pretty bad hearing (also this is with headset volume all the way).
-
Gotta be Bill cuz who doesn't wanna main a veteran that literally went through a zombie apocalypse, and sacrificed himself to save his friends.
-
What if they made it like a struggle match with the the killer and survivor both mashing a button, if they killer is able to mash better the survivor dies, if the survivor wins they get the killer off them and they stun the killer.

Oh man MW 2 lobbies would break your soul back then if this is your limit.
Say GG and leave problem solved. Private your profile comments.
Regardless Death Threats are a serious thing that just can't be brushed off, and the person should definitely not get a pass for making one.

I too would like to see an older survivor
we have Bill of course
But having an older woman would be something totally new, and honestly old women are misrepresented, even more so than older men. i would really like to see diversity like that included
bhvr if you want a feminist character, don't go for the laughable pandering you did with yui (im not impressed, how many cliches can you cram into one backstory? pathetic. it almost insults my intelligence, thinking id eat that up) just include a survivor who happens to be getting on in years, like bill
Thats why Bill is my main, He's old, but still shows some fight in him. Also a war veteran as a character is usually very cool.

@LetsPlayTogether said:
Just get rid of the progress route. Make each challenge a standalone so noone is forced to do any challenge to progress til the end.
I mean I think the progress is fine, it helps people play a different role than they normally would. Cause I'm a survivor main, but I did some of the Killer challenges and I had fun.
-
Also the challenges should promote more of a team centric playstyle, Unhook 3 survivor using Bill with borrowed time. An example of what they shouldn't do is Escape with Bill through Hatch using Left Behind. This would just promote leaving your team to die.
-
@anarchy753 said:
As Claudette Morel, heal each of the other 3 survivors once within a match.
And if you wanna get real wacky make it to where you have to use specific perk related to healing.

But I like getting hatch because my team Disconnected.

In most cases it's intentional.
Good to know, cause a lot of times it would seem that the hitting animation would not fully be completed before I went down.
-
@ABannedCat said:
Whether a pallet is "wasted" or not solely depends on your team's capability to hold down M1 on generators.
If you and your team are not afraid to do generators, the only time a pallet is wasted when you get hit as you throw it down.
However if you team just crouches at the outskirts of the map, or does totems, chests, etc, then you are better off squeezing more time out of every pallet. Use windows whenever possible, loop the pallet multiple times, do bolt moves like baiting the pallet drop, et cetera, et cetera. Because you will need the limited ressources later on in the match.
I always wondered, if you throw down the pallet and you still get hit, but the killer is stunned, is that intentional or lag.
-
@Auron471 said:
i mean... if you stunned the killer i dont see that as a wasted pallet. Unless maybe you were camping the pallet
Would that mean just standing there blocking it?

Not really, it has the second level which is just platforms stairs and then the top level. One way or another it's a horrible map gameplay wise lol
Yeah you right, it does seem to big thinking about it again.

And a three floor map is a horrible idea for both killers and survivors
