IT's not a fiasco, they did a good thing. Most people understand this.
It's just a loud minority.
like the survivors complaining about their queue length next week will be

My solo wait times as a Survivor average between 2-5 mins.
My wait time with 1-2 SWF players averages between 4-6 minutes (Depending on the rank disparity in party).
I haven't really noticed any change today from the past week or so when it comes to wait times.
My killer wait times are generally 1-3 mins, but have had a few outliers that were 10-12 mins.
I am only Purple rank on Survivor/Killer so not sure how much of a bearing that has on wait times.
I had the wait times hit 11 to 14 and a half minutes on the long queue one night last week as survivor purple on ps5 (with crossplay enabled) but noticed the past day or two they had gone down to about the times you mentioned roughly. You may not notice the true effects of this until the weekend warriors hit and already dealt with a couple bad swf games. And even if you manage to 4k them, it can still have been a very bad game. That is only fun for the swf if they're the 'annoy and/or obstruct and save as much as possible' type of twf. Even when it gets them killed, while it may feel like a satisfying outcome, getting there is often not very fun. Especially when it feels like they are doing it to deliberately screw with you. After a couple of those games, a killer might bring up a mori, and be like "#########" and then "oh hell na" and if they also play survivor would then clog up survivor queues or at the least deprive the game of yet another killer for a while and on the weekend while more killers seem to play more survivors also play and that's when it might be first felt.
If the queue times shoot up over the weekend, it'll wind up being more fun standing back and watching the disaster unfold than actually playing the game so I'm really looking forward to late saturday/sunday steam discussions and forums here lol. I'm getting giddy anticipating all the salt from both sides this weekend. And in the aftermath of this patch, both sides are gonna have many who's sole goal while playing will be to make the other side as miserable as possible so the streams are gonna be good too. Every other game is gonna be pure hell for one side or the other after the weekend I bet, with no reprieve. It is gonna be great. Merry Christmas dbd. Even double bloodpoints won't make me wanna sit through next week's queues, but if things get bad enough you'll probably get double bloodpoints.

It's all about those killer population statistics! Less killers, longer survivor queues. BHVR can't really do much about that, except lower the matchmaking requirements even further, which would create a much bigger problem in my opinion
oh yeah, then you would see more rank 15 and 14 killers having rainbow matches or facing purple/red twf and would lose more of those killers that used to not care or know better until all that would be left would be the sweat factories making those 20+ minute queues really worth the wait ha ha ha. That is what I can't to read about happening. People are gonna be doing overtime at the salt mines this weekend. It's gonna be ten times more fun reading all of the talk over the game than actually playing it any more lol. This might be the big one boys... I should have gotten predator while it was on sale but at least Cyberpunk unlocks tomorrow night.

Another one of the Twins perks bites the dust 😞
It's now a bad tracking perk that will help the survivors more than the killer
Inb4 nerf to oppression that only makes it only activate if all the gens are done
going by their recent logic regarding nerfs that sounds right in line with their goals lmao. perks and offerings are cosmetics only ha ha ha. but only for the killers you can voip second/third/turd chance all day and night until you run enough killers off of the game that you then get to cry about half hour queue times afterwards if survivor mains.
"no more moris? no problem, I can at least use an offering to cancel those annoying maps swf wanna take me to. It's not like if all 4 of them use the offering for their hellhole of choice my ward to cancel it won't work." btw if you see all 4 of the same offering and they aren't a cake, kill the game as quickly as you can while still on the offerings screen. survivors did it to mori to not lose their offerings or get the dc timer, now it's killers' turn to do it to survivors every time they last second 16 second swap to some bs they don't like. The difference is that killer queue will be 20 seconds while survivor queue will be 20 minutes, they'll learn to stop doing that if they don't wanna spend all night in queue swapping out their keys and fleshlights and annoying map offerings. Killers have the luxury of just getting another lobby quickly. Survivor queue times and time spent going straight back into queue or waiting for another killer were the true nerfs. If they could dish it out then they can take it.

Looks pretty cool - What a weird bug. @_@
I been seeing that and the flickering of scratch marks as survivors since the patch that released the twins, along with having an annoying buzz sound sometimes while escaping through an exit gate and all of those issues were on ps5 and pc both as well as dbd almost tdr black screening on pc a couple of times and the app crashing to homescreen on ps5 once both a day or two after the twins. No issues with ps5 since the 13th and been playing it a ton since then for weeks straight, so I assumed after what happened also on pc that it was the game and the patch was buggy. It hadn't app crashed since on ps5 and been playing it there predominantly, and it happened in lobby there while on pc it was in match, so on ps5 I assume it could be connected to the bug kicking me out of queue on both platforms as survivor. That was one of the worst patches they've released in years, probably the worst patch in years if you throw the killer bugs in with it too along with lobbies bugging and forcing you to requeue

The mori thing was necessary. & tbf Victor moves 150% faster than a survivor and his pounces are pretty easy to land, so I get why lockers aren't a guaranteed down.
plus it's a free iron maiden that holds the guy there for you, sparing a perk slot. this isn't a bad part of the patch for killers actually, and is fairer for both sides as well as probably fun in that it hopefully won't be so buggy and lead to bs situations that have you wanting to throw your router out the window.

I'm not worried about the linking process being buggy. Specifically, my wife and I both play and we want to know if we link our accounts if they'll still be able to play together.
My bad, when you said swf I imagined 4 man with key and fleshlights not a husband and wife duo and I gave you advice that I'd read about borking people's ingame (not external like psn or steam) friend lists and costing them their bloodpoints lol. That was a couple of months or so ago by now though iirc. But knowing behavior it probably still can happen and the only way to know if it would to a couple of accounts would be to just do it and see. But don't do what I said though, unless you wanna risk losing bloodpoints or having an empty game friend list from things I'd read a while back on steam posts since I doubt it's been used enough or important enough to the devs to have fixed it if they could even figure out how to. I had just wanted to try and Mori a suspected squad so to speak, for a playful pun with an apology attached.
Unless you wanna play the same account on switch, I'd avoid any mergers since the other consoles have separate accounts and as far as I know only windows store (which is pointless if you have steam since it's the same platform already and windows store sucks) and the switch version let you have cross Progression... the M$ and Sony consoles do NOT have cross progression. And fromw hat I'd read, it was linking both their PSN & Steam player ID to a behavior account that led to those issues for most of the posts I caught about it. I assume xbox would lead to the same problems for some people too if they hadn't ever fixed it. My guess is having two separate accounts from platforms not allowing proper merges of progress are what led to the 'confusion' with bloodpoint totals and in game friend lists. But either way, you guys would come out of it with just one viable account is my guess, meaning unable to play together without a new account and grinding bp all over agains ince it would not be undone.
-
so you want em to nerf him and then fix him on top of it right after moris were turned into a waste of bloodpoints lol.... ah man I can't wait to see the steam discussions in coming weeks. I just remembered the part in Superman 2 before the fight in the city between Superman and the Zod Squad when a guy looked out a car and said, "This is gonna be good!"
-
It is perfectly safe for your friend list and your inventory/bp to link all of your game accounts onto a behavior account. I've done it between pc and console and experienced no issues. So feel comfort in knowing that and doing so.

You can still win against a swf on comms. Moris were a biger problem, and I say that as a KILLER main.
lol bs, you say that either as a survivor main, or somebody that needs to do more than work unpaid as an entertainer in dbd all day.

@HP150 said:
Keys can now only open the hatch once an exit gate has been opened.
Easy solution.
Moris now only speed up a result that is basically already determined (carrying a survivor to a hook vs killing him outright when he is already on death-hook) with some very edge cases of usefulness (avoiding a pallet stun or DS). Keys will now do the same thing, with the edge case of usefulness being when the gates are open but the survivor is injured / the killer has a 1 shot and is guarding the gates effectively.
That would certainly be fair and balanced in comparison, they should never be allowed to escape early if you can no longer kill them early. But watch it simply be just another tender slap on the wrist, especially for the swf. I'll bet $100 usd the keys 'nerf' will amount effectively to nothing more than a slight slap on the wrist at least for swf. The only way you will make your disapproval of their clear bias unable to be ignored is if enough people simply stop queueing as killers, even better if enough of them pile onto survivor queues at the same time they deprive it of a substantial amount of killers. If that doesn't happen, your game is fruct for good at this point until they give you a way to avoid dealing swf.
the game needs killers more than it 'needs' swf (that's their bs threat that they will leave and deprive the devs of their money, but if killers leave they'll leave anyways and if only swf are gone killers will keep solos and duos still playing without 3 and 4 man swf bs).troll with friends can all quit and you'll still have a functional queue with reasonable wait times. Fewer would have difficulty adjusting to playing survivor sometimes (as we've seen those rare times killer queues got long like when pyramidhead came out) than they would jumping headfirst into the deep end of the killer pool trust me. But they'll quit rather than play too many miserable matches as killers once the survivor queue gets long enough. The loss of swf would eventually even itself out, it would just mean a lot less money for the greedy devs, while the loss of killers before bots come (and bots that can be fun 'enough' to play against) means a dead game once people get sick of queues pushing 30 minutes or more even for solo survivors at some points throughout the day.
It's always been killers that 'need' to be happy in order to have a functional game, it's never been troll with friends. Killers unfortunately have not taken their power back from the devs and swf by refusing to play and/or cluttering survivor queue times. Just do it for a few weeks, give it enough time to see what happens and what the devs say. If goatsie insults you again, or gives the same bold-faced lies and bs promises just to keep you providing entertainment for their customers a little bit longer... then just give the smug prick the finger and go play something else. he doesn't know how to play his own game, while talking down to killers as if he knows what's best, as has already been hilariously demonstrated on livestream before. If they finally sound as if they're respecting you after a big enough and long enough strike (once you've forced them to at least acknowledge your grievances) then still sit and wait until they actually put their patches where their mouths are. Until then, let the game rot some more to keep them encouraged to work faster and work harder. Let themw ork for you, don't work for them as unpaid killers doing volunteer work ... it's not like those swf groups are paying You for those costumes. swf won't be buying those costumes just to screw with bots, they buy them to show off to each other while they screw with You. You gotta grab them by the balls. The money is always where it hurts.
-
If you found it in a chest or from another survivor that you are not ina premade with, then no matter how you use it, no. If you are in a swf and you use it any way other than to save somebody, or save somebody with it more than once per flashlight you will catch covid. If you waste it's battery baiting a killer that isn't gonna be baited you are doing God's work.

well, the tile system if it could work in real time swapping where certain things like doors and loop tunnels led without an easily predictable logic attached to it while playing in a match could be about the closest thing you could get to what you might be thinking of. But still, in actuality, nope. Especially since with the reworked maps there isn't even much elevation to them beyond the slope of the hill or the steps in a few places on some maps like ones leading into the basement. They would need to create entirely new tiles (and system itself) that could wind and connect other tiles in different ways to even get a start at a hope for something remotely like that. And this game, especially when it came out, was a simple plain with a bunch of simple tiles the placement and slight difference of each being a roll of the dice but very learnable after playing them enough to have seen everything it could spit out
. It being a computer game is enough to make me believe they couldn't swing it on today's engines even if they were the best devs in the world coming together on it. It would probably be hell making an engine that could even let them dip their toes into something like that even if today's hardware could handle it easily. This game wasn't ever meant to do anything like that. Portal is more like what you might be thinking of now that I just remembered that game though. But it was designed specifically that way, dbd isn't a game that could handle that without breaking everything all over. Think of that scene in Labyrinth where Bowie is walking around that weird space like those paintings with steps all over ... dead by daylight, with these devs, no way. The game would be busted beyond hell lol. That could be pretty cool though if that is the sort of thing you were thinking about when you asked this.
-
lol I don't think they're gonna be able to sell any more dlc without survivors after the past 4 years, unless they license a ginormously popular or interesting enough killer, maybe A Quiet Place where you don't really see much of the map except for auras tied to sound and 'see' the terrain through echo location or something else interesting enough to be worth trying to play. something that is more gimmicky than voip is annoying. But if it was any other company, I wouldn't doubt so much it's devs could handle something like that and make it fun, playable, and fair to both sides not just the vics (if it was killer favored the nerf would make it a joke we all know).

what if he paid for the rift? in that case I'd excuse back to back afk wraiths for the next week or so, since it's not like survivor queues are gonna be going down in length any time soon to get the rest of their levels in any fun way. and if enough of them are doing that then the survivor queues won't get too bad right away, at least until the rift is over, allowing me to finish my rift without having to do that myself while also picking up around 8K bp a game on average witht he rift xp from gens and totems.

Perks such as dead hard, adrenaline, ds, OoO, Etc. I like to use builds for stuff like hook saves, healing, confusion, and autodidact. But does anyone else not use crutchs? If you dont please say what stuff you like to run i like seeing intresting builds.
I'm gonna see alot of these posts this weekend I bet lol. And most of them will be justified. btw I like that Elodie girl's locker diversion perk (don't run straight at it or you might go in when it's not on a cooldown, happened to me a couple of times, I turn and then use it), it's helped me run to a new area with a headstart when I worked out how to use it well on a chase. I generally do it once to a killer unless I'm using it as a diversion to draw them from going toward a gen somebody is on or a hooked guy since they'll probably catch onto it afterwards. But combined with red herring, it's pretty good as a diversionary tactic and if you're really desperate a means of a headstart getting out of a closing loop area since it can cooldownw hile you're sprinting (it's not an exhaustion perk). Elodie's pallet/wiggle perk I haven't been able to get off one single time yet though, even on characters thata ren't her no matter which combination of perks I tried so I don't see it as reliable just as a heads up on it.
If you wanna have fun, and don't care about points, gens or escaping then try iron will, no mither (to completely cancel your sounds together and in case killer is a spirit), resilience and dead hard. during one of the last no dc penalty periods when people were dc left and right and i was screwing around with perks, I wound getting pretty decent with that combo. I went into a match immediately dropping oni orbs though and nearly schiff bricks over it... turned out to have the randoms distracting him alot for me and it was aprettyf un game since that oni seemed pretty new to him.

and with the shortage, I expect rank 15 or 14 to also start seeing this at least once out of every 6 games or so by the end of the weekend as some killers have left along with solos urvivors that won't take their queue times just to get sandbagged by swf lol. On the lighter side, at least the 3 mans can just pick up a fourth from some of the solos if they find it's been taking matchmaking too long to lego them into a lobby a 4 man took or that a duo is already in. About all you're gonna see within a few weeks is nothing but swf and the most imba stuff they cann pull out of the characters they banked stuff on ever I bet. I hope some of you stream the next few weeks for the lulz. I'd rather not give the twitch and yt swf streamers any view counts. One killer I started watching sometimes, discovered him throught he ps5, is a guy named showstopper. I can't wait to see him stream after this.

There's an addon to make them last 8
interesting, I didn't check that one out I usually used the radius ones to go with distressing to bump up the static shock radius to find people along with bbq when I was farming bp. That way using him with bbq and static I could make up for bbq slot by not needing another perk to find anybody. I also felt comfortable enough to not need to tunnel except against the teams trying to troll me without bringing calms pirit. Playing as the doctor a little is a great way to be able to play better against the doc btw for anybody having trouble against him as survivor. He's free on the playstation version for the console players and pretty good to farm bp with. Respect the terror radius hue hue hue

As far as I'm aware, Charlette loses her terror radius when you're controlling Victor even without insidious, so no, this doesn't make the perk viable.
yeah I've stood around plenty of them while knowing they're on victor (the buzzsaw sound I use to know that) and I don't hear the terror radius until they snap back onto her. One thing, that may possibly work but I don't have her to test, is that insidious may remove that terror radius upon snapping back to some potential benefit to the killer player depending on their plans. Probably never gonna have many situations that would pay off though even if it works, especially against a swf since they would then not only know you snapped back to her but that you also wasted a perks lot on insidious. VOIP is the most OP perk.
-
with deerstalker and insidious, camping a gen late game when a pair are close enough to keep an eye together, basement camping, plenty of uses in between those too depending on who you're using and what map it's on and how well you've been doing without it (don't use it if you've been doing well without it, unless you just wanna screw with people for kicks). You don't have to stand right near a hook, and if you're deranking I've found you need to do that without insidious anyways if you wanna depip for certain while still getting a decent amount of bp and doing something other than afking. One thing you might wanna do sometimes for a while is combine it with franklin's and insidious watch dropped keys and fleshlights. Make sure you can't be seen where you're doing it or you wasted your time and a perk slot btw.
-
But you get to waste valuable time sitting through the longer mori animations when a hook is just over yonder for the quick and clean kill, that can give you a couple of seconds to move toward the hatch even when you know it's close to that hook. Isn't thatw orth those bloodpoints still? I'd totally get that moving through a web over just spending 3k points to wrap that web up. Moris are only for the survivor's fulfillment now, since they take as much time to kill (sometimes more due to animations if a hook is close) and it only enhances their sense of entertainment (it's not cool after the second or third time you've seen it which is basically the first time you used one on a killer) with the animations while saving their friends time and costing you time depending on the situation.
You're buying moris for them, not for yourselves now especially since survivors get four offerings between them and you burn your only offering to what still have to tediously hook them 3 times anyways while taking even longer on the last depending on the animations and possibly making it easier to give a guy the hatch? A random survivor should lose bloodpoints somewhere int he world every time a killer is forced to pay for a mori to progress their web now lol.

Basically. Bad teammates should be part of training, yeah? Lol
They honestly should be actually, and the devs have had enough years to figure that need out.
-
@Rebel_Raven said:
Yeah, mobile training has just 2 or 3 flaws. The grind is so much worse, the controls, and sometimes the bot survivors tap unhook instead of hold unhook. Most of that isn't their fault.
Well, they are a little dumb when they got to use stairs, too, but it's fine. An occasional potato bot is ok with me.
so not much different than the occasional team mate you get sometimes, except they'll keep the killers' attention for longer than the first hook. If the killer knows it's abot though, they'll ignore it before tunneling somebody they consider may be more problematic out of the game. Just expect that to happen a lot with some people, especially once people have figured the bots' behavior out.
-
after second hook they're dead anyways, and most likely had ds burnt up before that so it's just a literal waste of blood points especially considering the animations of many killers take longer than just dragging the pleb to a hook if one is close to where you ran them. Anybody playing in a way that they'll make it to third hook with ds, is probably justs aving it to troll you once the exit gate is opened. Avoiding the slim chance of that is not worth the bloodpoints you waste on that shiff any more since there's other cheaper ways to deal with it and you could use an offering for more bp, a map offering, or an offering to counter offerings (except in the one case you would need to cancel a troll with friend offering the most since it won't work if low and behold all 4 use the same map offering so they cans crew with you instead cause these devs must be a literal room full of monkeys).
-
They should have done this before the mori annihilation lmfao
-
Deprive them of a killer, place one more survivor into queue and then play until your queues are ten minutes or over and at that point just pretend it's a facebook game that you pop up every twenty minutes or so to dodge another lobby and go back into queue lol.
-
The queue times between them aren't "comparable in the slightest" either. I'm gonna come back over the weekend just hoping to see some good threads here and on steam about the queue times lmao. And I might decide to afk noed/bloodwarden wraith a few games too hoping that they took at least 20 minutes finding a match just to think they were gonna coast through it just to have at least a couple of them killed at the last minute lmfao. That'll be a form of bloody but mostly peaceful protest, if survivors become frustrated or discouraged from playing frequently enough between queue times and toxic gameplay then they might lend their vocal majority to killers or at least remove themselves as one more costume stuffer and grab the devs' attention for a change.
Make the survivors either super bored, or super super miserable if you want change. Make them want you sided with just to make their own play time easier for them or fun again. It'll work if it eventually hurts the bottom line driving enough from the game or making them feel spending on it is a waste of money. The way to hut the bottom line is by making sure survivors have the least amount of fun you can manage, since they are the majority which means you need to hit the majority of spenders and make them wanna become nonspenders.
If you don't wanna do that, then at least if you're on pc the least you can do to contribute is to set in a window, minimum rez and size and settings, and justs it in survivor queues all day and if you're at the helm just dodge and queue again once it puts you in a lobby which takes only a few seconds of work every 10-20 minutes or so by then just to make their queues take longer if enough of you do it. If you deprive them of killers And add survivors to compete against in queues... then it makes a noticeable impact on queue times and counteracts the bored survivors leaving the game and it's queues for a while. Think of it like a facebook game or a phone game where you just leave the lobby every 15 to 20 minutes and minimize it again lol. There is no way to know what you're doing and it is an allowed mechanic, so don't have any worries about that unless they change the ability to dodge lobbies which in itself would do it's job and drive so many off of the game very quickly for the lulz.

Now that the has met the checkpoint of functioning I want to aske the question: What is the point of her?
- What is the point of Victor attaching to a Survivor when you can pull him of in a few Seconds without even having to stop? How good can it be if you had to implement a feature to stop him being attached?
- Why have it that you can crush Victor when you down someone? All that leads to is that you can´t use him against survivor traffleing together, cause every time you down one of them they´ll crush you and have the guy picked up till you get there.
- What is the point of Hoarder now that you removed the reduced item rarety? If it was map wide and mabye gave a survivor opening a chest exposed or oblivius it might atleast be interessting to use but now it just gives more items to survivors in exchange for being possibley the worst information perk
- Why is coup de grace? Why have a perk that gives you a longer lunge with limited uses with out input from the killer when to use them?
In conclusion I think the Killer could use some improvments:
- Have Victors Aura visable imideatly opon being attached and have a survivor stand still the entire time he removes Victor or have Victor stay on the survivors back for some time before being able to be removed so the killer can attleast has the chance to get to the survivor before he can just rip of Victor
- Have it so that if Victor downs someone he can not be crushed so that survivor aren´t save just because the are close together.
- Like I already said have it be map wide and have some sort of effect on survivors who open chests.
- Make coup de grace like fire up. For every gen 10% longer lunge.
This is why you should listen tot he people thatw arn you against buying new killers in this game for at least the first few weeks after their release. Unless it is ONLY for a potentially god tier perk combo. The killers will be enticing at first, until they got your money, and then they will always be nerfed... or in this case fixed lol.

Poor bait
poor queue times by the weekend lmfao, I might just go on my pc account for the first time in a while (been on ps5 the past few weeks) since it has the wraith with a lot of perks and addons, just so that I can be "unexpected wraith" again and noed at least two naive happy little kittens that thought theyw ere about to make it out the exit gate along with blood warden for the lulz. That was what I did when I got sick of too many troll with friend groups in too few a number of games on the truly bad nights for matchmaking to make somebody else miserable for a change. That way I still got my rift xp and didn't bore myself being completely afk, and got to drop a loaf in at least of a couple of folks' cheeriohs in most of those matches whent hey thought they'd had it easy.
I never got more satisfaction from playing the killer than when I got to really screw with people. Those are the kind of people that'll still be willing to be killers next year. Most of your games will be spending about 20 minutes finding a lobby and then being screwed with by people that had enough of the shenanigans. Playing that way allowed me much satisfaction with almost no work put into the entire match at all, and by putting almost no work into the match, it provided more satisfaction in the end because of how i expected the people I got to feel afterwards. I still prefer survivor, and if not simply being 'toxic' will play Only survivor from now on, but if the queue times are too long I won't be one of the fools that goes "oh well, I guess I'll turn my system into a soup kitchen and do some volunteer work as a killer then". I'll either be 'toxic' as hell, or just playing a different game entirely. Hopefully Cyberpunk unless it turns out to be a Cyberbomb, which from what I've heard about it so far it won't be. An easy two months out of that game, and by then, maybe the dbd devs will have provided some more lulz or completely killed their game even.

Quick question. What if you don't have Franklins?
then you dodge the lobby and let themw ait for another killer until they learn both to not have keys equipped and to not have their friend go unready expecting to swap their keys/toolboxes/fleshlights out at 16 seconds expecting to not have the killer's ISP fart during the offerings screen. Theey don't get to eat their cake and have it too. It's one or the other, queues that might still be under 20 minutes without that bs, and queues well over 20 minutes maybe up to an hour to hour and a half as a 3 man group pulling their bs on killers that can no longer swap in lobbies (3man is probably the toughest lobby shape to tetris into lobby's during matchmaking due to how common duos seem to be to me as both survivor and killer and usually soloing survivor I tend to get sandbagged and ignored on hook by 3man once or twice a day sometimes thrice so 3man premades are on my mind even as survivor and I'd love to see their queue times suffer a lot).
-
so are 20 to 30 minute queues for survivors until the bot killers come, and by bot I mean dev implemented AI killers and not the players staying afk for bp or rift xp (since they could do it multiple times for every one single survivor lobby they'd find while hoping to god nobody up and left it especially their killer) and/or to derank to avoid the purple/red twf groups popping up as often for them.

I agree,
This company needs a clear sign from the community that the current state of updates etc. is not okay.
Another thing that hurts this game a LOT is the lack of competition. There's no game out there that gives you a similiar feeling and experience like DbD does and they know this.
Friday the 13th was shaping up well until the stupid 'license' issues popped up around Jason everywhere and killed any further development into it.

Otz suggestion is something im on board with
I've watched that guy and plenty others have to literally bust their balls against red rank twf without a mori to even get a couple or few guys frequently. there is no way in hell most people can swing t against those kind of lobbies without a mori if dbd isn't their paying job. and honestly, I believe after 2020, people are too burnt out to play the side of a game that feels like a part time job and addeds ource of stress that they can easily avoid by simply not playing it. They did it right after seeing the queue times shoot up during bloodlust weekend lol... during a weekend.... queue times shot up. truly a facepalm moment not doing keys and moris simultaneously. If you're gonna put that much effort and energy and constant calculations into just breaking even against a twf group on this video game, you should put it all into starting a company and making a better game in my opinion. Those that can handle that pouring all thats weat into it would be valuable for helping to balance a true competitor to this game.

We got to stop using DS before they nerf it. So let’s hold off for a while and the DS pick rate can go down. Switch DS with “For the people” so the killer still thinks DS is in the lobby.
lmao no offense but that sounds like something a wolf in sheep's skin would say to try and make up for the mori annihilation. it was hella overkill, but just saying this sounds like something a killer would say afterwards lol. On solo survivor I'll always run DS now and aim for a pallet or good spot to lose them after the stun when I know I'm gonna go down. Always DS now, except when burning keys on a survivor that I didn't have it on yet, and will be burning through all of my purple and pink keys until they've had all the fun left in them since in about a couple of months they're gonna get the axe too (probably not nearly as bad as moris did).
After that I won't touch killers ever again except to afk or semi afk them tapping the attack while watching tv to burn through rift level xp faster than the 20+ minute queues I expect to have on survivor. I won't actually 'play' the killers though, I'll just have BP perks like thrill and devious on while running around all over or standing in place tapping the attack key since I expect to be able to swing 4 or 5 rounds of rift xp that way int he time I could take finding just one lobby as even a solo survivor soon. Once the rift I paid for is burnt through I won't buy another one again unless all of it's challenges are survivor challenges since I am survivor only now. If they don't like that then tough schiff they can put AI Bot killers in the game then or clean up the messes they keep making.

What I took from that is that they're being lazy, and taking a political approach by smooth talking you into not thinking they're lazy lol.

thats the spirit, no seriously im not going to play any low tier killers against this new reign of keys, its only going to be spirit, nurse, blight, iri head, and tombstone pieces until keys get fixed
yep, and first hook suicides for me if I'mt he first one they catch while holding my keys LUL, face camp and DS or not. not gonna prolong the agony for either side, just gonna burn the supply while it's still got some fun left in it like I should have done with my moris and then move on. It's really too bad that schmuck went Rambo on Jason/Friday the 13th licenses since that game could totally have pushed the bar on games like this and forced these devs to be more competitive to maintain the amount of costume buyers they currently pander to.

From what im seeing no one are disagreeing with the nerf to mori the issue is that it should of been done at the same time as keys as both mori and keys are issues for the respective sides and a very well noted issues for the sides i might add. Both cut games short both are broken asf in the right hands both needed changes.
What this patch has done is cause more frustartions, potential increase in toxic behaviour from the survivors and gain more posts on why devs are survivor sided which in turn has done more damage to the already fragile trust that the killer community have over the devs.
While yes i do agree healthy change and yes mori needed the changes this should of been done with changes to keys to keep the peace.
2020 is not a year about keeping the peace lol, it's a stressful year no matter what you do, even when playing video games as buggy as many of the releases have been this year and even buying consoles unless you were as lucky as I was to snag a working one on a september 16th preorder before the scalpers' bots were ready for them. I mean if dead by daylight had suddenly started having patches that put faith into the devs, this year of all years, I would have known for certain I had already died and gone to hell without knowing it and that it had been a very cold day indeed.

keys are not a counterpart to moris but moris are a counterpart to keys, the reason you don't see keys 24/7 in lobbies is for a few reasons
- players are stockpiling
- players are scared there is going to be a mori for bringing a key
- people see someone else with a key and don't want to bring another to basically guarantee a mori
and now that 2 and 3 are compromised you bet your sweet bippy that keys are going to be more prevalent
lol Yeah I'm going to burn all of the purple and pink keys on all of my survivors on both PS5 & Steam and then get lost in Cyberpunk and let you guys enjoy the nearly 30 minute survivor queues coming this weekend.

Then at that point it’s the killers fault. It’s fair conditions for both sides. If this were the change it’d be a lot more fair for both sides
um no, it is not the killers fault when perk and voice comms are abused to give an advantage to a group of 3 or 4 that the game was never designed around. You clearly only understand one side, and that's survivor. I won't respond further to you since I don't expect you will attempt to think about it from a trolled killer side's perspective, and boy will the trolling from TWF groups pick up by the weekend. Thank god for Cyberpunk
and as solo survivor, I would roll my eyes when I landed in the lobby of what appeared to be a 3 man in blatant costumes holding a key and a flashlight or a guy not readying up so that they could switch tot hem knowing I was gonna see a hidden killer offering int he loading if I stayed in that lobby. but you know what I did? most of the time I stayed and dealt with it, even when my queues were still less than a half a minute to a minute at most on survivor because I understood why the mori might appear in those matches. Theyr eally need to put AI killers into the game at this point, since people aren't gonna sit in queues forever as survivor just to find that it's mostly the sweatiest killers still willing to be killers. Their fun will end once it's 20-30 minutes in queue for some sweaty pizza-faced nerd to steamroll them with sweat rolling down his rollls. Thank god I'll be absorbed into Cyberpunk by then.

I disagree. Moris were a problem for a long time, and they shouldn't be used to steamroll a game for free.
I disagree. Voice chat in swf has been a problem for a long time, and it shouldn't be used to steamroll a game for free.
Wow, that's a great template there.

The other change that people were recommending ( have everyone hooked once ) was a much better solution because it required and encouraged you to apply pressure on all survivors instead of just tunneling immediately
The issue with that is that if it's a super sweaty team on comms good luck hooking everybody once each before most of the gens are done if they're hellbent on not letting that happen.
-
yeah if I'm the first hooked I'm not gonna bother to struggle and if it's in the first half a minute due to spawning practically on top of the killer gonna try and escape and screw with them a bit and requeue if I can't escape. If the queues hit 10 minutes or more I'm just not gonna play at all any more.

I think you’re being a bit melodramatic to be honest, I don’t see that many killers actually running moris. I also don’t really care if queue times get bad for survivors, as I play both roles I’ll just switch to killer for instant games.
using a term like 'melodramatic' just makes you seem like a shill to me, and I will ignore you from now on

Moris are stronger than keys so I’m glad they went first.
A lot of killers are gonna go with them, and my queues as survivor were becoming long again already lmfao. They should have implemented AI killers before doing this. The ones that still play that aren't sweaty and didn't make dbd's killers their part time job are just gonna start going afk, or eating the dc penalty the first or second sweaty match of the night probably. So on top of sitting in queues pushing 20+ minutes again by next week, you'll also be bored in the matches on top of the lobby. This is like watching people cheer for communism, they don't understand that they are cheering for a bad future for themselves. inb4 ban
