I mean, WOO is a training wheels perk, which is a good thing, the problem comes when the training wheels come off.
But it's fine. Running to yellow and predropping everything will eventually bite the survivors back. (Unless you're on The Game, good luck to you then)
-
I bought it from the Shrine just as it got nerfed. I barely got to use the old version of it. And then it got nerfed.
I still use it sometimes as it's not terrible, but if the Obsession decides to shove themselves in your face, then bad luck.
Please revert Sloppy and STBFL.
-
It's rare, but it can happen.
-
The simple reason why anti tunnel perks cannot deactivate because of protection hits, is that killers could abuse this and render them useless.
Borrowed time is fine. It only punishes the "count to 10, then down" killers.
-
Thank you for this!

I like it.

I think the finisher Mori should work on the last man standing, similar to low profile.
If everyone is hooked, then the last Survivor on the floor can me moried.. that way the waiting out for the hooked person to die wouldn't be a thing.
That doesn't help with the "slugging for the 4k" situation.

Couldn't see. Was blind...
Oh, sorry😅
But yeah, Large Pack is one of the unused firecracker add-ons.

I have a screenshot of a cheater using the addon.
It was called "large pack"...
Let me guess, he had more than one firecracker.
-
In theory, they could release firecrackers as a full item.
They even have the add-ons for it in game, it got found in the files.
-
So.... the reason why solo Q is so bad is because there is a high chance of getting a teammate that left his brain at the campfire.
-
Does it expire? I didn't have time yesterday.
-
The MMR might as well be a complete fabrication that never existed and it would be the same.
Also, seeing the posts about how hard the "high MMR" is, makes me perfectly comfortable with my probably-not-high MMR.
To the topic though, saying that someone's opinion is wrong because of MMR is just dumb.
-
Splinters existed for this exact reason.
But, some time ago, they removed them for some reason.
-
Good idea! I like it.

That's delightfully evil. I like it.

Another part of his kit that's annoying is collecting traps, which are often on the opposite side of the map.
My idea is that he could be able to highlight up to 4 traps, which he could then destroy remotely. After that, he could simply pick them up from a locker, just like Huntress does.
Oooooh I really like that 🙌
Thanks!
-
Sucks to be Huntress when it's in play.
But, I think it's not necessary to nerf it. Unlike MfT, you actually have to work for it.
-
Oh, these look gorgeous.
Thank you for posting this!

Trapper is impossible to buff
Trapper is one of the killers that swf has an unfair advantage against him, basically if just one survivors sees him putting a trap, the entire team will know about that trap, now, comparing to solo, there is no much to say, any buffs that he can get will not help anyone, will just increase the gasp between solo and swf
I kinda disagree with that.
Now, yes, Trapper is significantly weaker against SWF (what killer isn't, though..).
But he is a joke even against solo players who know how to play. There is a good reason why Corrupt is almost a must run perk on him.
The points that I focused on (visibility, faster set-up and mechanics which make screwing him over harder) would, imo, help even against SWF.

AT least we should get an option to "spend Blood Points till they are gone" and then it just blasts through 2 million BP in 2min.
Ideally We should also get the option to chose "go cheap", "go expensive" or "always buy Iridescent add-ons".
In my wildest, bloodpoint addled dreams, we get 5 slots that we can fill in order of importance for the five add-ons or items that the auto-blood-web should look for.
Yes please.
-
When I started posting on these forums, I was thinking that too.
But now, I agree with the general opinion, Dead Hard is fine.
That being said, I'm not sure why does it still give Exhaustion when it's almost irrelevant to the perk.
-
I mean, if it weren't for the fact that the community has to point out potentially gamebreaking stuff that the balance team had no idea of existing like.... idk, every few patches? Then yeah, this would be a concerning move.
But I think this could work quite well. As long as they don't bend over backwards to every single opinion expressed, it should be fine. Stopping obviously bad decisions asap is a good thing.
-
I think that Hexes in general are fine, with their only problem being the insanely easy to find totem spawns.
With some of these spawns, you could run the OG version of Ruin and it would still do nothing.
With perks themselves, the only really bad ones are Huntress Lullaby, Wreched Fate and Two Can Play.
-
I'm kinda iffy on that topic.
I'd much rather see a horror movie/game license instead.
-
I want Haddonfield to go back to it's original visual form, minus the stupidly long fences and infinites.
I want a suburban street, not a highway with a few houses.
Also, the map is so small it's ridiculous.
-
I'm glad they are trying this out.
-
I made a "for fun" post about a funny way to make Territorial a "Gotcha!" perk like Blood Warden.
Territorial ImperativeWhen a survivor enters the basement, they become Exposed until they leave, lingering for 5/7/10 seconds. This effect only announces itself once a survivor is downed.
This perk is disabled while a survivor is hooked in the basement and for 5 seconds after.
It just seems like a more fitting use of this perk, to me at least. I like your Huntress Lullaby buff, tho.
-
Edit 3: Added some finishing touches to this concept.
-
Plunderers basekit is the best choice here, imo.
I mean, the items you get should be worth the effort.
-
KILL RATES SHOULDNT BE DECIDING IF A KILLER NEEDS NERFS OR BUFFS.
-
I think that Hag is fine as she is right now, but that might be because of my not-so-high MMR. (The weather is nice down here, thank you)
If anything, she needs some buffs, especially to her add-ons (Grandma's Heart is the only add-on not updated with Undetectable in the game).
-
I didn't know that @MikaelaWantsYourBoon was a Danganronpa fan! It's unfortunate that they got sent to the shadow realm, I'd love to talk about it with someone!
Anyway, even though this is more than a year old discussion, I'd love some Danganronpa skins in the game. I mean, Gabe with a Kaito skin, or Sable with a Celestia skin? You can't tell me that they weren't made for this. Also, David getting a Mondo skin is spot on.
-
As it came up on the PTB, I thought to myself: Are they aware this can work with Made for This and For the People?
Turns out, I was right to be skeptical.
Anyway, the token system being removed is the most glaring issue. I'm all for making free perks good but this is too much.
-
One more thing...
Can we get back the visual effects from the OG finisher mori?
-
Or, just remove the variants altogether?
I can't tell the difference between Badham I and Badham IV, or any of the Ormond variants.
Plus, they seem really pointless to me. Do we really need to make learning maps even harder?
-
If it weren't for the iri shards that you can get from it, I wouldn't bother with it at all.
-
Can we make it so her drones actually move?
Instead of just.... awkwardly floating?
-
I think they shouldn't be on every map, but more of a realm dependant gimmick (like the pipes in Nostromo)
-
So....
This is how Goblin Quentin looked like?

Mathieu Cote pretty much said Lights Out was not a success, that might be what I_CAME is referring to. He said they were surprised at how quickly everyone returned to the standard game after trying the mode.
If Cote himself recognized that Lights Out was a flop, we can be sure we won't see it again.
Which is nice, it's a snooze.

We know in the next iteration of 2v8, survivors will be able to rebuild a destroyed pallet (which I guess is limited by the chosen class), and we've seen it before as an anniversary invitation ability. So let's try to make a version that works in 1v4.
Reconstruct would rebuild a destroyed pallet but also totems, however it would only be once per object, so think of it like Pentimento but for survivors. As for some numbers, perhaps it takes 10-15 seconds to rebuild an object, whilst the perk itself will have between a 60-120 second cooldown, whichever feels more balanced. The rebuilt objects will also have a marker of some kind to differentiate them from the others, again think a Penti totem. A pro is you'll get chance to use more pallets, whilst a con is rebuilt totems could also be turned in to hexes so killers will also have a chance to benefit depending on their build.
The pallets will be the most appealing part and of course it needs to be balanced incase of SWFs but otherwise, what do you think?
I think that this could work, in theory.
Too bad we can't test it in game.

I think if they ever add a pallet re-build perk, it is going to be invocation perk.
The invocation perk could either be that you re-build all pallets once per trial or it could be a perk where every 90 second, a random pallet is re-build and it keeps re-building 1 random pallet per 90 seconds after finishing invocation.
You know I actually had an idea similar to that?
Invocation: Fragile Recreation
By channeling the power of the Entity itself, you can recreate some of the tools it provided to you.
When in the basement near the circle, press the Ability Button to begin the Invocation.
Invocations take 60 seconds. Other Survivors will see your aura during this and can join the ongoing interaction.
Once the Invocation is completed:
• You become Injured and Broken for the rest of the trial.
• You gain 2 charges of Fragile Recreation. If a survivor joins the Invocation process for more than 20 seconds, they will get a charge of Fragile Recreation once the Invocation is finished.
Completing the invocation disables the perk for all survivors.
Fragile Recreation becomes active when near a broken pallet or breakable wall . Pressing the Active Abillity Button causes the pallet/breakable wall to rebuild itself. Fragile Recreation has a 45 second cooldown.
It's just a concept, of course.
-
If they want to go with satisfying the Freddy mains, I expect a partial revert.
They will probably keep some of the new stuff in and just combine the two.
-
Meh.
I doubt anyone would use it.
Similar to sacrifical wards, no one bothers to bring them because they can get wasted.
-
Survivors overall should get more bloodpoints. Maxing out all 4 categories is basically only possible when there is a farming killer.
