yeah i guess sony is the biggest obstacle atm for you seeing they need to verify it first. Dont know how nintendo and microsoft handles it. thats why i guessed it would take much longer, possibly the entire event. But thanks for getting my hopes up!

Of all the bugs in the game, this must be the most trivial one yet..
should be the easiest bug to fix and no, the fact that they are bugged makes it soo much harder to farm up on them. if they actually worked we would get more bp and more cakes to use and save up on.

not completely true, if the cakes worked we would have gotten more BP and we could farm up more cakes to use in a positive feedback loop. cant really do that now

they need to impliment a hotfix to fix the gateaus but how soon or how fast theyll do it is unsure. they might not be fixed while the event is live, a quick solution would be to just activate a 3x bloodhunt so we can get 540% with either bbq or were gonna live forever.

It illegal to sell something at a "discount" when thats the actuall price, its marketing trick to make it seem cheaper when its actually being sold at a full price. I think its an oversight on their part, seeing all full skins are at a 10% discount, but you cant by these skins separatly. but Fallout 76 sold christmas skins at 50% discount, got in trouble and removed the discount and sold it at the "intended price" wish was half of what they claimed it was. thats whats illegal.

i had to quit playing and I wont play killer until they fix this, Its so hard to track survivors without sound. Im color blind and tracking blood is just as hard. i dont have one of my key senses to play the game, I lose survivors who know what they are doing to easily. its ridicoulus how they treat killer issues like this. Survivor at the other hand right now is a complete joy to play, its soo easy to sneak arround killers, happened multiple times where the killer walks right past me without knowing im there because he cant hear me.

it really makes the game super frustrating to play as killer when 1 key factor to tracking is gone. scratchmarks are janky and trails of blood is hard to see on outdoor maps for people like myself with red/green colorblindness.

They are adding a endgame collapse type thing in the beggining of the match, that will help every killers poor earlygame. wait and see.

I tried the Freestyle filter and all it does is blending purple with red so they look purple/grey ish. doesnt really help with blood but It helps a little bit with scratch marks, but scratchmarks werent that hard to see to begin with.

Ive farmed BP with survivors and Killers myself, usually when someone DC or kills themselves early just to be nice. In this case, the killer is a wraith staying cloacked on purpose gaining 0 BP when we all escape.

Im on PC EU times, currently rank 2 if that matters (lol). i get instant matches at arround 8 o clock in the after noon until 1 past midnight, but during daytime. like middle of the day, on working days, queue can take between 2 minuttes to 10 minuttes.

Im not sure if i did depip or not, all I know is that I waited arround 10 minutes for a game where nothing happened, and the killer intentionally did it because its "the most efficient way" to get shards, which makes no sense to me, he got 0 BP being cloacked all game, so we know for a fact that hes not farming shards to buy perks from the shrine of secrets. so hes doing it just to collect cosmetics in a game that de doesnt even play. just to have virtual items? yea it doesnt really make sense to me why he would even waste time doing it. I was rank 3 and the others were red/purple rank i think. so I guess we all depiped.

Get the BP and free escape and move on because you won't see it very often.

I can understand some people don't like it.
I also agree that when someone does that, he should pick a killer that you can farm some points off by running around.
But tbh, how often do you see that kind of killers. I saw 1 in all my playtime as survivor. And that was because the killer just got a bad map and a bad round in general so he just gave up after 2 minutes.
goes against TOS though and is a reportable offence.

I did :) only came to the forum to "discuss" the reasoning behind doing such a thing as AFK farming. didnt really go that way, people on here are more defensive about their own agenda then to actually discuss the topic at hand in any relevant way. should have seen it coming.

Yea well id rather have the match finish as fast as possible so i can get an actuall match. I tried to uncloack him but he wasnt at any spawns which means he moved away to a corner or somewhere else.

Afk should not be reportable. Sometimes life happens, and you have to step away. Kids, pets, ect.
The guy wasnt "AFK" because something happened, he was AFK on purpose to farm shards, if you dont have time to play, then dont play. I have a dog myself, he stole my shoes in the middle of a game, and i had to save my shoes from being destroyed by a 50kg Presa Canario puppy. Its was a one off, not a reacurring thing. If i got reported it wouldnt have done anything because it was a one off, i think the devs take that into consideration when adding up the statistics on AFK reporting.
but in this instance. AFK reporting should be bannable.

Haha yea, sad reality. Whats funny is that he wasnt AFK at all, he was just waiting for the match to end to continue doing it because its the most "effective" way to get shards 🙃 I dont know if people even bother reporting. I never report i usually just cary on to next que. Just found this instance to be a little more interesting considering he was actually there the whole time.

Fair enough. I get the frustration of waiting for a match only to get a snooze fest like that. The reason I asked is because you mentioned that you deranked which would not be something that should really bother anyone given we are not given any incentive to care about our rank in this game.
the deranking part of this match just shows that there wasnt anything to gain. no one playing got enough BP in either cataghory to keep or gain "rank" which is this games term for "progression" I dont care about rank, but I would like to have fun, thats why I play the game, I just found the reasoning behind farming Iri shard like this odd. I dont understand why someone would actively sit there and do nothing to get shards. which are even more pointless than rank. whats even more strange is how this is activly encouraged by the looks of this thread.

If your only getting 10K every survivor game you are doing something horribly wrong I get usually 18K +
man I was talking about the "free" escape. doing gens and escaping without killer interaction only gives you 10k. I was refuting the point that this was "free bp and an escape". I give up, nobody actually managed to answer what the point of Iri shard farming like this was.

Personally...I'd say just move on? It doesn't happen often enough to matter. I've been playing for about a year now and only encountered 1 or 2 AFK Wraiths and then 1 AFK Spirit.
Doesnt matter to me what the killer does, slugging, camping, atleast their playing the game, when I play survivor I dont care what the killer does, as long as he actually plays the game.

I dont care about escaping, I even deranked so why would escaping matter? this is a lose lose situation for me because I cant disconnect and que again, Id have to wait 5 minutes, or I would have to get through a boring "match" where the killer refuse to participate, and que times at this time of day takes up to 10 minutes for me.
