There are rumors that Leon and Jill are about to get 2 legendary skins. high chance that one of them is Claire.
Also there is a video showing Claire model in game that the team probably worked on but there is no proof of that.
To add on and clarify a few things, they're EACH getting 2 legendary skins.
One of Leons legendaries is gonna proc the same easter egg as Jill (Where Nemesis says STARS when grabbing her out of a locker or mori-ing her)

Not just me the whole team. I am decent player most of the time but in my opinion I just find it a petty way to play.
How can a killer tunnel the whole team at the same time?
Just because a killer doesnt go afk after he hooks all survivors at least once doesnt mean hes tunneling
-
If the killer keeps tunneling you thats an opportunity to improve your chases, you simply throwing the game is not only a refusal to learn how to play but also ruins the game for your teammates.
Also every platform tunnels and camps, Xbox is not excluded from this.
-
Easiest to play? Nurse hands down
-
He's just a heavily watered down Pyramid Head, and just like him he's annoying to deal with once you reach a pallet.

would be ironic if this was moved to Feedback and Suggestions
-
The game has been balanced for 115% movement speed, a 5% bonus is basically some killers having bloodlust 1 or a stack of PWYF. Would it be gamebreaking? No, but I still think what we have is alright, no need to change something thats already balanced

Well I bet this is not an issue. Try playing Pig or Wraith without slowdown perks. We'll see how it goes...
I play all killers without slowdown, the only perk I have to stop survivors is Blood Warden.

He's not in a fine state, the overheat mechanic has no reason to be there and just punishes you for using your power.
For over using your power and using it wrong, if you use your chainsaw at just the right moment you wont overheat
I've been dumping A LOT of hours into Billy recently, he feels only slightly different then back before his rework and its mostly animations.

Dude, i'll never understand what "people just relied on add-ons" means; i hate Scott Jund for spreading this stupid take about Billy.
By that logic every single killer who is okay enough base kit should have all his add-ons gutted because otherwise it's boosted, but that's something that the devs only reserved for Billy according to their fantastic judgement.
But look at where Billy is, he's in a fine state and he always was without add ons but people are literally considering putting him in D or C tier of their tier list. There is no other killer in DbD that made a killer go from really hard to use to almost the easiest killer to pick than Billy because of the add ons that were at his disposal.
Add ons shouldn't define who a killer is, they should be minor enhancements, not borderline broken.

I don't think it's that obvious. The feeling of winning is stronger than the feeling of playing a fun killer sometimes. I think most people don't care how fun she is just that they get easy wins and it makes them feel good.
And at the end of the day they are still playing that killer to have a good time

curving is albeit possible but much harder with the new reworked maps
and there are a ton of bugs that make him so unfun like the bug where if a survivor vaults a pallet and you use your chainsaw it will break the pallet over downing the surv
That "bug" has pretty much always been a thing, there was an actual bug where it broke the pallet and downed the survivor at the same time but that got patched a while ago

there is actually a lot of things they did with him that make him worse or at least less fun to play.
they made his collision zone bigger so you can hit more things while using your chainsaw
the reworked maps have weird hitboxes so it's harder to cure( especially auto haven)
and he has some weird hitbox issues with his chainsaw where its harder to hit a surv
I dont think his collision zone is bigger I just think some of the maps have wonky hitboxes, which theyve always have.
Curving is still very possible and I do it with no issue. On maps like Badham, Autohaven and Ormond especially youre able to curve around some objects no problem
The harder to hit survivors thing I haven't experienced at all

Played since 2017. Rank 1 both sides. (I know that doesnt mean anything but 5k hours does). Billy used to be fun to play as and against. The only time it felt unfun was guess what? Crack billy and instasaw. Which coulda been addressed by just addon passing. Overheat was just unnecessary. Then we get into the roar. The fov nerf. And the limp.
Been playing since 2017 as well, 3.8k hours.
Crack Billy is technically still in the game just a bit toned down. But apart from overheat and the roar nothing has changed
-
If youre using 4 slowdown perks and youre still struggling thats on you man, not the game
-
Have you actually taken the time to play Billy or did you just play 1 game, do bad and come to complain about it?
I never realized the amount of people that relied on add ons to do well with him, he's the exact same base kit, he can still do everything he could before except for Space Billy. If you get fast enough downs and use your chainsaw properly overheat isnt a problem, especially if you have add ons.
I will agree tho the animations are a bit annoying, but you get used to them.

what's cute, is you being so defensive about it.
not everything that applies to one character applies to another. that is all.
Not being defensive, just making sure you understand but thats clearly out of the equation. Good day
-
Whats cute? Your act or your refusal to try to understand what Im saying because really, what you said previously really did clear a lot of things up
Its like saying "Trapper and Hag arent even comparable! What theyre trapping killers??? Oh so Trapper can teleport to his traps and Hag can make people stuck in her traps now???"
Again, sweetheart. They dont play EXACTLY the same, the way you play against them is DIFFERENT, but at the end of the day as a survivor youre guessing what theyre doing and the odds a heavily stacked against you with little to no options.
-
Nurse and Huntress were tied for me
-
Clowns 1v1 is pretty good the only issue is map pressure, and instead of buffing clown why not give a universal buff to all killers that give them more map pressure? Maybe something like preset portals around the map that allows a killer to travel through them similar to Demogorgons portals and give Demo himself a buff or maybe even a rework to compensate
-
Im not a Spirit main but the answer is obvious. They find her fun to play.
Just like every body that mains any character in any game
-
The thing is, survivors only have so many pallets and he chews through them because of how well hes able to stay on a survivors ass. Early game he struggles, mid to late game he's very oppressive
-
Ive only recently started using gen regression perks like Ruin + Undying or Pop + Corrupt (depends on the killer) and games have become way too easy, Ill stick to Blood Warden which is way more fun to use

Ok first off, these survivors are less than mediocre not a single one knew how to loop properly, and ran blindly whilst using DH.
Second you basically never Hit and Ran you ways chased a person and downed them within 10 tp 15 seconds because their not even remotely good at running tiles.
3rd hit and run would never work on a good team because it would take a while to get your first down and gens will fly because when you leave they'll instantly look for a gen.
Wraith is good against less than mediocre to mediocre players because they dont understand how to counter him (Look for his questionable that he's coming like sound and shimmer, and not greeding a pallet when he's uncloaking.
Wraith is high D tier against good players and A tier against bad players.
While I do agree against good survivors Wraith has a hard time, he is in no way high D tier.
Wraith has solid map pressure and anti loop out of cloak, Wraith is an absolute menace atm

Nurse can blink twice in a row, therefore, spirit can phase twice in a row.
Nurse can see survivors while she blinks, therefore, spirit can see survivors while phasing.
Do you really need an explanation on why something applying to a character doesn't mean it applies to another?
...what?
Guess this clears things up, you just have no idea what Im saying and Im just gonna leave it at that

me disagreeing or not is completely irrelevant...
your logic is flawed.
"if she has counter play then Nurse has counter play" does not, and will never apply
With both of these killer you're guessing what the killer does and you go down for guessing wrong, or is some cases you're just left with no options at all. Spirit and Nurse play a lot more similarly than people think.
So tell me, how is my logic flawed?
-
@Alice_pbg said:

disagree.
and even if that was true, this is not a conclusion you draw from "if she has counter play then Nurse has counter play". it would just be something they have in common
If you disagree so much why don't you explain why?

if you know that, then stop using the "if she has counter play then Nurse has counter play" logic.

But youre not countering either of these killers, youre just guessing lmao

you can say where they are similar all you want, they are not the same character and what applies to one doesn't necessarily applies to the other
I know that, the way you go against these killers is different but at the end of the day their chase is very similar, the survivor is left with guessing what the killer will do and the killer does as much as possible to eliminate the most amount of options the survivor has
-

Droping pallet vaulting window are all usefull against spirit but useless against nurse because she dpnt care about that
They're useful at delaying the Spirit a little, but at the end of the day there are only so many pallets, and vaulting isn't really gonna get you far since survivors make a little grunting noise when they vault.
Against Nurse your options as a survivor is to run behind a wall to break LoS, that again get only get you so far because if the Nurse is smart she's gonna blink in a way that covers the majority of (if not all) options the survivor has.
At the end of the day, Spirit downs survivors slightly slower than Nurse, and all the survivor is left with is trying to guess right as much as possible, your skill doesn't matter, its how lucky you are.
-
@Alice_pbg said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2231667#Comment_2231667
this "if she has counter play then Nurse has counter play" logic, is real bad.
2 different characters that work in different ways. what applies to one doesn't apply to the other by default
They play different but at the end of the day they have extremely oppressive chasing capabilities that leave the survivors with basically no options, the only difference being one gives off more information and is much more skillful while the other gives off no information to what they're doing and takes just a tiny bit of skill (if you even want to call it that).
The only reason why people don't complain about Nurse as often is because you barely see any one play her nowadays AND they usually aren't even that good.
-

1 you screw your teamate because you dont like the killer you face not really good
2 spirit have counter play tru3talent show and explain the counter play a multiple of time on his stream.
3 nurse dont have any counter play if she miss its because its her fault nothing you do will change that
Spirit doesn't have counter play, if she has counter play then Nurse has counter play, the only difference between these 2 killers is Nurse has an auditory and visual queue of when she's using her power, how ever you're not going to be juking a god Nurse, not consistently anyway. Same goes for Spirit, there is not one thing that you can do consistently that will guarantee a successful outcome, you can guess what she's gonna do but you can only guess right so many times.

I've started to play a lot more Hillbilly recently because I wanted to see truly if he's been gutted. And honestly... its not as bad as people make it out to be, I think it really shows how many people relied on add ons back then.
He still has amazing map pressure and can still curve making him pretty threatening while in chase, overheat is also not much of an issue since if you get fast downs your chainsaw will stay relatively cool, sure the collision on some objects can be a bit wonky but its always been like that, its all about learning what you can get away with which was always the case with Billy. The only thing they TRULY got rid of, is Space Billy. Other than that, he's still regular ol' Hillbilly with a small handicap
-
good perk for killers who don't understand spawn locations yet
-
even with that he would still be a watered down pyramid head

And if they have a brain and don't run to the closest low wall loop while using trees and rocks as cover between tall wall loops?
who says you need to throw knives during the time the survivor is going to that long wall loop? Close the gap as much as possible and start throwing knives when the survivor is at the long part of the loop, and if there's multiple long parts then that just makes things easier.
Don't be scared to abandon chases either, Trickster excels at catching survivors off guard. Its why Monitor is an amazing perk on him, he plays like a sudo stealth killer with it but with a ranged ability. "Well can't you say the same for Deathslinger?" Yes you can, and THATS the issue I have with Trickster at the moment, Deathslinger just out shines Trickster in almost every way while using this play style. But just because he's the worst ranged killer doesn't mean he's the worst killer over all
-
With Trickster its all about catching survivors off guard and abusing short loops, if a survivor crouches to avoid your knives you can still hit them at the majority of short loops, hell you can even hit above them because for what ever reason the hit boxes of survivors are a lot taller than they actual look. This allows you to hit over some rocks on MacMillan and large snow piles/rocks on Ormond (there are more these are just the ones that come to mind)
Trickster is weak, he does need buffs, but he is FAR from the weakest killer

Moris: becoming basekit
Some random killer mains: WHY U NERF MORIS??? 😫😫😫

I literally can't see BHVR winning here, no matter what they would of announced people would complain
"Things were too vague!"
If they would of went in detail and would of accidently said 1 thing wrong the community would outrage
"Disappointing Anniversary Event"
What exactly are you expecting? I thought the crowns were pretty cool and it gives the chance to those who didn't get them last year to get a new kind of crown this year, and it wont be completely boring for veterans as they too can grind out these crowns instead of having to grind for the same thing or having no grind at all
"Actual News"
I don't know about you but a new kind of perk (we haven't had this since 2016) which is for SURVIVORS, a complete rework to mori's and keys, and finally more killer reworks. They've also talked about updating EXISTING mechanics to not only make the game in a healthier state but also give a fresh coat of paint for veterans. And also matchmaking improvements. The Tutorial and bots are HUGE, people have been asking for a play with bots mode FOR EVER now and we finally got it, also the tutorial has only been in for 3 years, there was no tutorial when the game first launched.
The only thing I'm a little iffy on is the auto ban system. A part from that, every thing they announced seemed just fine

That's awesome, he's on level 50 for me. Why'd you choose to prestige him?
Because at the time I had a very bad PC that would barely run the game at 20 fps, Trapper is the only killer where I could still do well despite my handicap because I just needed to strategically place traps. My next killer to prestige was Hag just a few months later for the exact same reason. I later adapted despite having low framerate and slowly stopped playing them exclusively. Now I play every killer pretty much equally except for Spirit, Freddy and Ghost Face. (I just think theyre boring)
-
Trapper, back in March 2018
-
Her perks are all gimmicky except for maybe Smash Hit being actually an alright pick.
Self Preservation is actually pretty good for those who like getting flashlight saves or enjoy a much more stealthy approach.
Fast Track can work as a reverse PGTW it just requires way too much set up, good for endgame clutches.
I would say Quentin has the worst perks, none of them really stand out and there are better picks
-
Nemesis absolutely needs some kind of change, because as it stands he's just a heavily watered down Pyramid Head

you really think they are going to make moris good
its BHVR we are talking about a change that they don't specify usually means something bad
Never said they're gonna make them good, they're just gonna improve on what they are already and actually make them base kit instead of spending BP on them. How in the hell is that a bad thing? They basically are just a flashy death hook anyway so why use BP on them?
Mori's shouldn't be game changing like they used to be, no item, add on or perk should be game breaking. The only thing left is keys and they said they're changing those as well.
