  • lmao sorry if you got matched with me

for 3 games i just instantly used pallets, didn't loop

escaped 2/3 times, because teammates were great and did gens while i was chased the whole time, and the killers were silly enough to break every pallet instead of realizing what i did and just plan to go around them

  • @xChrisx said:

Is not supposed to be something easy, they are challenges for a reason and they are becoming more hard to complete, have a challenge complete after 1 game is boring and nosense in my opinion. Im enjoying these challenges tbh

im not. the "in a single trial" is what ruins it. challenges should not depend on your allies doing weLL: like what are we supposed to do, rerank to 20 where nobody does gens? ugly process, and even then you're going to want to DC if you can't do 3 full gens by yourself.

If you want a reasoning it means that you could potentially heal within 8 seconds using self care that is not a good concept.

If you're running self-care then it would be really easy for you to farm stacks.

Then you got almost immediate healing for free.

If you were saying something like let it work on medkits then fine but not on self care

you make excellent points and i apprecaite you sharing them

8 sseconds sounds too fast to me, that sounds broken. im really changing my mind here, cant deny these facts

i just meant i dont care because you provided no reasoning please share your thoughts, i cant think about a "no" and since you're not a dev you don't really have the authoriry to say that anyway u know

he's an occasional "debt-collector" apparently, and his halloween outfit implies he's not a good guy

but he has WGLF (we're gonna live forever) and it says "your few friends deserve the best protection" so he probably has a heart of gold

Self-care used to be affected by we'll make it. Heal speeds were ridiculous, so they nerfed it to only affect healing others. This is probably the same reason why they won't do this.

yeah i didnt know that. i just feel like theres a lot of interesting perks that are also trash perks because they devs are scared to buff them, so we see the same meta loadout each time and we all know by now that slowly kills a game... maybe auto-didact should gets stacks from self caring, but not increase the heal speed. i just feel like something needs to be done to make it less ofa terrible perk, because its actually quite fun gaining stacks,

The Entity has been confirmed to pull people from multiple time periods adn timelines. Getting a pre-murder and post-murder Rin isn't beyond its ability, especially if it thought the trauma survivor Rin would go through having to escape her father (or her own twisted self) would help nourish and entertain it more.

ive got conflicting reports. is it hope that "nourishes"? Or fear? panic, sadness, only negative emotions are tasty or something? hope isn't negative though, im so unclear on the entity, seems to conflict with itself lol

  • i hear its like a japanese ghost that wants to hurt others. apparently it helped inspire rin? somebody else told me about them, i can't do much else other than point you to the wikipedia page sorry https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Onry%C5%8D

Three years of the game existing, three years of the DEVS making CLEAR what WE have been saying to YOU in the last DAY. Why did you assume I meant talking for three years? You can also like bad writing, fam. Ever see "The Room"? If you keep treating my truthisms as attacks, there is no point to continuing this. Mellow out and understand that your way of viewing the story of the game isn't the same as the Devs.

When YOU randomly CAPITOLIZE words it makes me think youre CRAZY. dude relax, i didn't read your comment, but if im annoying you sorry, please dont be upset, i honestly dont know how i come across but i dont want to antagonzie you.

edit: okay so i did read your comment. rude. don't say " what I and numerous others have been telling you clear for the last three years?" and then later say "Why did you assume I meant talking for three years?" dude your communication skills are garbo if you don't see what you did wrong there lol. easy miscommunication no harm done.

  • tru3ta1ent inspired me to play dbd. i watched him for a while without even owning the game, but then spirit was released and i bought the game and learned a lot from him. quit around legion's release shortly after, and only recently came back :)

nowadays he's so sour, like the entity has drained all hope from him, very negative and passive-aggressive, condescending, just a major drain. not fun at all to watch nowadays, thankfully there are so many wonderful content creators who are actually still fun and entertaining like otz, monto, demi. i just hope tru3 smiles again, he's gotten so negative recently, i miss his daily uploads.

How am I supposed to think harder when the Devs have made what I and numerous others have been telling you clear for the last three years? What do you want us to do? Write our own version of the story and just ignore whatever the Devs put out. If you don't like the fundamental lore of the game, too bad. That's the way the cookie crumbles. I like the lore. I like the eternal hellscape of the Entity. I like it and I know many, many, many others do to. Sorry to say you're the outlier, bud.

dude i just met you today what do you mean you've been telling me this for 3 years lol

also how can you say "i like the lore" when you just said "bad writing? maybe"... lmao. No consistency with you. very hard to talk to.

i'm here for a creative discussion, not have someone say "it sucks, get used to it, cookies crumble" like no, let's challenge ourselves here. Don't say "im the outlier" i feel like that's arrogant lol, i'm just expressing my opinion, why you tryin to turn this into a poparity contest or something? smh. maybe your right, i feel like ti has been 3 years of arguing with a brick wall cause you are exhausting lol

Welcome to hell. That's the point. There is no happy ending here. Bad writing? Maybe. The Dev's goal from the start? Yep.

Thanks for nothing... sorry I'm just trying to be constructively critical, try to think of what could be better instead of "yeah it sucks"... like no, don't be satisfied with that lmao. think harder.

every great story needs conflict. a goal. the goal of the entity's realm is just "suffer mwahahaha" sounds like an edgy kid wrote it trying to be dark. They should spread rumours that one survivor actualyl escaped (vigo? benedict? who?) that would at least be interesting, if we know from a meta-perspective it's hopeless the story will stagnate and be absolutely (as i said) pointless

  • @Zamblot said:

Rin may be fueled for revenge but you have to consider the fact that even with what happened chances are she didn't just straight up kill everyone else out of spite. She was likely tortured for an eternity by the entity and enslaved into doing it's bidding, killers can't simply reject the entity because they no longer have a reason to do what they do. Most of them just become so scarred by all the torture that they do what the entity says, I'm pretty sure Rin works the exact same

I don't think so, personally I think when you become an onyro (what shes based off of) she's totally okay inflicting her suffering on others, based off japanse folklore or whatever. you say likely tortured, i say "she made an oath as she died no need for torture an i know it for a fact because thats what her lore says"

also yeah they can totally reject the entity, havent you ever heard of dc'ing or afking and getting entity displeased lol.... rins not human anymore, she's pure hatred and vengeance, so dont be like "oh she still has humanity" nah, I don't think so, she's pure vengeance

  • @Clockso said:

    well that's pointless

  • @TheIdeaMind2000 said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/103320/rins-dad-ill-be-mad

It's basically that, I mean. The entity did grab the wrong person after all.

The devs said they are "Reworking" the spirit since the lore for Rin didnt add up...She loved her father why would she want revenge in the first place. Why would a loving caring daughter ever wanted to hurt someone she knew was suffering from his debts. Betrayal you all might think but, she knew deep in his eyes he was broken at his point.

The point where he didn't even care, the moment Rin died she already gotten pulled in. The entities world works differently in the real world...So maybe just as she died. The entity knew they made a mistake and takes the father instead, pushing in to the survivors but fresh before her death.

This probably doesnt make since but eh...At least we knew that Rin got a job for dad, blah, blah, blah. Got betrayed all that. Pulled in. Dad kills himself maybe, got pulled in, Rin got yeeted out killers and bam.. (most dumbest thing I've ever typed in my life..Hope you didnt read this one...)

yeah sorry ideamind but that made no sense to me lol.

We also don’t know what her deal with the entity entailed. It could be she surrendered everything to it. The entity could easily just tease the spirit with hallucinations or memories to keep her rage alive, and her will to keep going for the sake of revenge alive.

    lame deal lol (imo)

  • @dinocat2 said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/829191#Comment_829191

The entity can control anything it wants, just because it chooses not doesn't mean it can’t. The spirit will likely never get revenge but I seriously doubt she’ll just disappear after a while of not getting it. The spirit’s mind seems completely broken and useless, only left for the 1 dimensional pursuit of revenge, leaving it really open to manipulation

no, auric cells are the building blocks of its realm, and survivors can use them to reshape things. stuff like the gold toolbox and hatch exist, sooooo nope. it can't control everything lol.

"only left for the 1 dimensional pursuit of revenge" yeah and if she doesn't get it she won't do anything lmao, it's not hard to understand, set up demands payoff from a narrative perspective lol, if they want to continue her story, she needs to meet her dad in some form again and face him

  • @Adeloo said:

No this isn't how the Archives works ^^

So the next tome will certainly be about the Wraith. Or at least not a licensed character.

i'd really love to see more lore on the wraith. he makes absolutely zero sense, i want to see if they can actually form a decent character/story without retconning the nonsense they've established thus far xD

  • @Mc_Harty yeah dude but i feel like we're going in circles, i already explained that lmao read back a few comments, i really don't see why you're arguing the point anymore, there's plenty of reasons to allow it from a narrative and logical perspective, just shake my hand instead of going back to sq 1 xD

What is your title in this thread again?

For someone who's interested in plots and stories you have an unnatural inability to read.

yeah man, im saying it would destroy her narrative arc if he was a killer, i have no issues with him as a survivor, i can read just fine, for someone asking me the title of the thread I can tell you it's rins dad=ill be mad.

  • @Mc_Harty if thats true i didn't know that, i know he was passed over in exchange for rin, but that's just him not being hired for the role of killer, i don't think they asserted he would never be a survivor, maybe not even a playable one, but maybe he was dragged into the realm as an incentive for rin to keep killing. what is her motivation otherwise??

  • @dinocat2 said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/829173#Comment_829173

She made a deal with the entity to serve it and the entity promised revenge. It’s not that spirit is stupid, she was just dying on the ground, so her judgement was a little clouded. Also, the spirit wouldn’t cease to exist if she didn’t get revenge, because she’s in the entity’s realm, the entity controls EVERYTHING so it could just keep her alive as long as it wishes

the entity doesn't control "everything" from what i've learned from another poster. logically there would be no point in bringing in survivors/killers with free will if it wanted complete control. if it feeds off of hope, having complete control would make the trial runners disintersted because their fate is out of their hands; no belief, no hope to do anything. so i disagree with that assertion on those grounds: once again, doesn't make sense

and yeah, the spirit is motivated by hatred and revenge for the person that murdered her, that's what keeps her existing past-death. if her vengeance was denied forever, she'd have no reason to go on, so she'd be tossed away by the entity, so once again, it can't keep her alive as long as she wishes. she's the embodiment of hatred and vengeance lmao, you can't keep that in the dark

  • @Mc_Harty said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/829169#Comment_829169

Yeah and DBD writers stated that Rins dad didn't get taken. He got left behind.

really where? i didnt know this. like i know he was being groomed to be a killer and rin was taken instead because she was worthier, which just highlights the problem: the entity chose her, why would he suddenly change his mind, break her oath, all for an inferior choice? it would be the most nonsensical thing ever, it's not hard to grasp lol.

  • @Mc_Harty said:

Are you aware of the Lovecraftian mythos? That's the Entity.

A god beyond our understanding or comprehension that aims to get stronger so it can devour the Earth.

no, i'm not, sorry i can't relate to that much beyond knowing it's about space tentacles or something. i also have no idea how "A god beyond our understanding or comprehension that aims to get stronger so it can devour the Earth." is relevant to discussing Rin's personal motivations or narrative arc, that was kind of weird to randomly blurt out

  • @dinocat2 said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/827951#Comment_827951

I doubt the entity would ever tell the spirit it actually has her dad as a killer

why? spirit made an oath, unless she's a terrible negotiator she'll eventually be "mmkay i killed 100 survivors, where's dad?" or are we expected to believe she's just an idiot who makes death-defying pacts on a whim? once again, hilariously bad writing. characters shouldn't be stupid xD

  • @Mc_Harty said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/829159#Comment_829159

    One problem.

Her dad didn't get taken by the Entity.

Last problem lol? Writers can write that he did, and became a Survivor instead of a killer because Rin's hatred was greater. that way her story isn't missing the one thing that ignited it in the first place... writing dude, gotta think creatively lol, we don't know for sure if he wasn't taken, he could be

  • She's a plant? I thought she was a spider because of, you know, the spider legs that grow around hooks.

Thank you for your post though I didn't know so much of that, that's a very comprehensive write-up for a complete stranger, thank you! fear of the unknown is so powerful, i agree, and the way you wrote about her completely changed the way i think about her: with things like auric cells (which i would have written off as an excuse for currency) existing in-game from a lore perspective, it really changes things.

Does she only feed off of hope though? or is it any kind of emotion? i heard the orange juice on blight cosmetics is essentially "mulched" past survivors/killers who were literally mulched and turned into pure emotion juice. sounds crazy but if so, is that only hope or is it any emotion like "fear"? seems to me like the trials are set up to encourage fear at least

  • @Mc_Harty said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/829150#Comment_829150

Why would she kill other survivors if her dad is already dead then?

She already got her vengeance. There would be literally no reason for her to continue killing.

Cool bold letters dude how do you do that?

Cause "death is not an escape", she can do it over and over again. She'd definitely participate in trials and kill anyone she came across without a spare though if her reward was getting 20 mins alone with dad everytime she got a 4k. she has eternal undying hatred for her dad, that's literally her whole shtick, so I don't think she'd ever get tired of it.

    the entity feeds off emotion+

rin has a lot of negative feelings towards her dad+

being able to satisfy her need for vengeance (over and over and over) would be extremely cathartic=

entity+rin win over and over and over because they both get what they want.

  • @Mc_Harty said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/829143#Comment_829143

So why would it let Rin kill her father?

The Entity is being fueled from her RAGE.

same reason it lets her kill any other survivor? except from a lore perspective she'll enjoy killing him more, so if the ant feeds off powerful emotion it would make sense. as a killer with no interaction, you lose that.

  • @Mikeadatrix said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/828323#Comment_828323

The Entity can make people see auras, who's to say she can't make people see what they desire most. Alas, there's no point arguing with you. You don't see reason and I can't make the blind see. Just know, when Rin's dad is added, you're gonna be one upset camper reading his lore.

You had no arguments, so, ofc. Just because I disagree with your point doesn't mean i dont see reason, maybe your arguments just aren't convincing? hmm? if rins dad is added, i'll laugh and think "wow, they have no respect for their own stories, they could add anything why would they go out of their way to ruin their story so far, seems like a bad idea", not sure if you can feed off that wannabe entity lmao

  • @MegaWaffle said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/827931#Comment_827931

Can't wait to see how many people leave him on the hook to die.

Honestly that's one of the reasons I don't believe you could have a "bad guy" as a survivor. Also because the Entity feeds on "hope" it wouldn't make sense to have someone like Rin's dad be a survivor.

I also hope he ISN"T becoming a killer because I feel that would also just seem awkward.

If you want to use this entity excuse (The whole point of the entity is to be so vague it can be/do anything, if you're saying "well entity wouldn't like that" that means the Entity is poorly written or you don't understand it) you should consider maybe it feeds off every emotion: fear, hope, anger, sadness, etc...

  • @Boodge said:

I created an account just to reply to all this nonsense.

There will never be a narrative payoff for Rin. She will never encounter her father. If you are expecting some sweeping story from this game, you are setting yourself for major disappointment. The backstories are only there to give loose context for killers. This game never has been about a grander story. Its a cheap asymmetrical online multiplayer game. Not a Hideo Kojima masterpiece of storytelling.

However, lore wise, I think its safe to assume that her deal with the entity for revenge will never be fulfilled. She is now a husk of what she used to be, filled with rage but little sentience and logic. She will eternally serve the entity, killing for it, never truly getting what she wants.

If she were ever able to get revenge, her spirit would pass on. Her rage would subside. And then she WOULD need to be deleted, to stay lore accurate. The entity has her wrapped around its finger as long as she doesnt exact her revenge.

Her story is meant to be a tragic one. A good person who is turned into a monster, lured in by false promises.

If her father were turned into a killer, she would never know. Killers dont have any contact with each other. She would still thirst for vengeance, but it wouldnt be any closer or further away for her than if her father wasnt a killer.

All of this is beside the point though. Why do you care so much about a tissue thin narrative that only exists to advertise a playstyle and theme for a multiplayer game? It's asinine to expect to learn more about characters in a game like this.

Ok so if you're telling me I should lower my standards, umm, no, I'm allowed to criticize bad writing, and if they're investing in lore (tomes) now is the time. don't assert there will "never be narrative payoff" when literally all it would take would be an archives cinematic of her finally being able to attack her dad again and again, everytime she completes the trial. An incentive to keep existing from the Entity: That's narrative payoff, and until they explore more lore we don't know if that's happening yet or not.

Imo, a lot of you just aren't creative people. you're too busy focusing on "well entity this, we don't know that" but you're not able to think of where things could go and how that would affect other written stories. not a creative person. this is about writing, it's tough to think about.

Dude you need to stop. Your understanding of what motivates people is extremely basic and one dimensional. Your position that she was promised blood and vengeance against her father would rely on him being a survivor so she can actually act against him. He isn't so your entire premise falls apart.

Secondly the first things we usually do when our loved ones or family do terrible ######### is make excuses for them. She may blame society for making her father snap and therefore the revenge she is seeking is just against people in general.

I'm not saying you are wrong, but your outlook is similar to a child's as is your tantrum that people on a forum aren't agreeing with you.

Get over yourself armchair psychologist, don't tell me "What we usually do", and go on to talk about "society" and "excuses"... lmao, read her lore again. She hates him. That was pretty clear. I also don't think you know what a tantrum is, I'm using reason I just have little patience for arrogant people like you xD

Your outlook is similar to literally any other arrogant commenter, so whatever, be wrong, I'm here for discussion, don't tell me to "stop", just go away. please, go away lol.

You're operating on the assumption that the Entity is morally upstanding and cares about keeping promises, and not a malevolent, indifferent being that couldn't care less what its puppets want or feel as long as it gets fed. Even if that's not the case, "blood and revenge" is all we know of the oath that was made, and that's incredibly vague.

But since you're operating from such a level of intellectual superiority that you seem to be more interested in talking down to me and insulting my intelligence than actual considering my points and discussing them in good faith, I don't see this conversation going anywhere productive so I'll be ending it here.

Fibjean I'm sorry if I offended a real person, I'm just short on patience because I really can't believe anyone is thick enough to say '"blood and revenge" is all we know of the oath that was made, and that's incredibly vague." like no, it isn't vague, I gave you the definition of revenge. She wants revenge vs. dad. That's not possible with Killer dad. And if the Entity is just a liar, well, the lore sucks and we shouldn't trust anything we here: lying is bad, mmkay? And it makes for lame stories when anything can be retconned/disregarded. No weight or consequence to the writing, setup for no payoff, it's bad writing. Sorry if you're a real person and not a troll btw, I didn't want to offend.

No, I'm not. I'm operating under the assumption that their lore can be believed, otherwise who cares. Also, I don't know how else to say it: Revenge. REVENGE. It's not vague at all. She hates her dad. Honestly, I'm wasting my time with you. I'm not trying to condescend, but I honestly believe I'm being trolled, nobody is that thick...

So im reading from this your main objection is that he's a "murdering pos" and you reject him on moral grounds because he's such a terrible person.....which honestly sounds like a really good pitch for why he should be killer lol

nah, that's not it at all. i'm more oppposed to him because i think it would ruin spirit's lore, dbd's burgeoning lore, while also making her redundant from a design and thematic pov for the sake of something thats old news.

He shouldn't be a killer (We have spirit, we don't need another) He'd make a great survivor. We have so many survivors that are decent people, it'd be interesting to play someone who arguably belongs in the trials to be chased over and over again.

  • @KillermainBTWm8 said:

Yes, the entity lied basically to rin she will never get her revenge. However I doubt we would see Rin's father because when she was first recruited it was stated that her overwhelming rage was hard even for the entity to handle so they had to strike a deal even if it would never come to pass. I doubt the Entity would care to have one of it's killers go batshit on them by recruiting Rin's father. It's more likely the alchemist he may be strong but he is still human even if he is souped up on serum so they would need a weapon. And since he's been to the trials he would know exactly where to find one. That's my stupid theory at least.

i honestly really like your theory. we don't know if the entity "lied", especially since it has no reason not to keep its oath by letting Rin murder her dad over and over again, but i absolutely think you have a fantastic idea; if the alchemist was a former survivor, it would make sense that he would go back and pick up the katana. or, any hatchet in a locker. or some of the sharp rubble. or anything.hmmm tbh i don't want to think about it that hard.

This is easy to answer. The Killers can´t be killed... Just take a close look at the Killers and you´ll see that they´re dead already. With some it´s more obvious (Spirit, Wraith, Hag...) than with others (Trapper, Legion, Ghostface)... but the conclusion is, all Killers are dead people.

Yeah and Survivors can't be killed either. They just respawn at the campfire. So? It'd be fun to actually have a new DBD mode where Survivors collaborate to actually imprison/kill the Killer. I think a lot of people would appreciate the more direct and personal victories over the killer rather than repairing gens.

but tbh, we all know the real reason: that's a lot of work to design and build. it won't happen, if the game isn't struggling they have no reason to shake things up.

I'm stupefied that you actually think an Entity that abducts people, tortures them into being slaves, and throws them away like dirty tissues when they're used up would keep its word. It was an empty promise to make Rin kill for it for an eternity. If the Entity has at least two brain cells in whatever body it inhabits, it sure as hell won't let Rin find out that her father is also a killer. Call it, conflict of interests. The Entity wins and Rin will keep killing so she can eventually get the revenge. It's like putting a carrot in front of a horse you're riding. The horse wants the carrot but you want it to go forward, so you tempt it to chase it. THAT is what the Entity is doing. How straight forward do I have to put it?

Really? You're like "we can't possibly understand the entity" and then you immediately follow it up by characterizing its behaviors and applying inductive logic that it is likely to repeat similar behaviour, and also concluding that it is evil by our standards, and that by extension it must also be a liar because lying is evil. Very "bold of you" to make so many assumptions on an inscrutable mystery box (a mystery box is a cheap trick writers use, where they keep something mysterious enough to justify anything coming out of it: the entity is everything, or nothing, in other words, it sucks and isn't compelling)

also, the carrot analogy is broken: The point of that analogy is you can see the carrot on the stick right in front of you. How on earth can you use that analogy and then also say " it sure as hell won't let Rin find out that her father is also a killer" so she can't see him? You don't make sense, and that analogy blew up instantly.

Wraith in my eyes basically snapped when he found out he had been killing people and was broken enough to be weak to the Entity's will.

Spirit is different because she never did anything wrong, she's doesn't hate herself, the only motivation she has is hatred of her father. If she were allowed to kill her father what point would there be to go on?

I think you assume that the deal was concrete like "I give you power, you kill your father OOPS that made you a killer in my realm for eternity." I see it more as "Kill for me and I will give you the power to kill your father eventually, but she basically gets stuck as a killer forever, still fuelled by that hatred.

Look at the alchemist's lore, he stops being rational, he's willing to kill for what drives him, the Entity keeps twisting his mind. There's no hint of an escape for someone who has already been damaged enough to become a killer.

Yeah for sure, that's a fantastic example, the way you mentioned the alchemist. Nevermind that even in those few lore entries they contradict themselves at least twice, but you are correct that he will do whatever for serum... he needs it. that's his drive.

But he actually gets more of that serum, we see it happen. Rin is fueled by vengeance and doesn't get it... so she isn't being "strung along", she's just not thinking at all, almost like she isn't a character? Vengeance must be coming, otherwise she has no purpose, and it's bad writing.

I'm pretty sure the devs have stated in streams that she was never able to kill her father.

Basically the Entity baited and manipulated her with the promise of the power to take revenge, and has been stringing her along with it to keep her as a killer.

If that's true, that's hilariously bad writing. i'm willing to throw everything i know away if the devs are that stupid.

"Hey, we have a character fueled by hatred and vengeance... btw, she never gets her revenge"

makes almost as much sense as a killer fueled by his hatred for killing (wraith) so what am i saying

  • They don't understand what "revenge" means, but nevermind that i guess smh lol

  • *breathes sigh of relief* lol I was worried about you for a few minutes.

  • Fibjean I'm sorry if I offended a real person, I'm just short on patience because I really can't believe anyone is thick enough to say '"blood and revenge" is all we know of the oath that was made, and that's incredibly vague." like no, it isn't vague, I gave you the definition of revenge. Sorry if you're a real person and not a troll btw, I didn't want to offend.

he is badass because he managed to murder his family, all that rin did was be a stupid asian girl and die then become an edgelord wishing for revenge

also its pretty big, the one he used in the trailer looks like the biggest weapon in the game

Murdering your family doesn't make you a "badass"... somebody should put you on a list? /s (maybe)
