Until the Devs say slugging is against the rules or they remove it from the game by making Unbreakable baseline, you can slug if it's how you want to play. It doesn't matter if someone else hates the playstyle.
Just say GG in the endgame lobby and leave with a clear conscious, knowing they are throwing insults at the wind thinking your still there.
-
Devs: DS is an anti tunneling perk, just don't tunnel and its useless.
Me: Trying to punish the Survivor who unsafely unhooked while the previously hooked survivor body blocks with BT and DS, anti tunneling perks being used as immunity instead of protection.
So the survivors play recklessly, and due to their perks they receive little punishment in return. On the other hand, the killer loses time and is punished in all circumstances.
Hit the unhooked survivor: Wasted time
Downed the unhooked survivor: Wasted time, and you get called a "tunneler" in the endgame chat for bonus points.
After wasting 1 or 2 hits, you finally catch up to the reckless survivor you wanted to punish and get looped for a bit because they ran to a safe loop.
Now I'm a decent killer and usually BT and DS doesn't effect me much, but these perks are flexing outside of their intended uses (DS much more so than BT)
An easy fix would be if you perform any action other than vaulting or dropping a pallet while in a chase you lose DS. Also if you provide a protection hit for someone else you will lose DS. You could also only allow DS to activate if the killer is with 32m range.

I couldn't care less about what the survivors are wearing at Rank 1, they get sacrificed all the same.
-
I've been playing Clown, Bubba, Pig and Myers at Rank 1 for the most part for a while now and I only have trouble on maps like Ormond, Thompson House, or other large maps. Otherwise I pick my gens and pressure survivors where I want them to go.
-
No. The Hatch is as balanced as it's ever been right now, we don't need to be giving more power to the survivor side again. Slugging is a valid strategy and not holding the game hostage as the survivor will die eventually. If you want the match to end just crawl under a hook and wait.
-
Remove Keys and Ebony Moris. I only ever use Moris if I have a daily and anytime I was forced to use a key for the Rift I felt my brain cells die due to how easy it was.
-
Commit to gens you want to keep. Only a Billy can realisticly guard all of the gens and even then you would need to let some go.
Push survivors where you want them to go, not where they want to go.
-
A killer who is brand new? Otherwise it's an insult thrown at killers by certain survivors when they outplayed the killer in some way, usually to stroke their egos or belittle/bully the killer for some disturbing reason.
The term "Baby Survivor" is also used in the same way as I listed above, but from both Killers and other Survivors.
-
Taunt Definition:
"A remark made in order anger, wound, or provoke someone."
I answered your question. /thread
-
Your right OP. Your post is the saltiest thing I have ever read. Don't taunt next time. I did chuckle a little when you called it "tradition" though, nice try.
-
Don't get caught first.
-
Both are the definition of "Completing the objective as quickly as possible in whatever way you deem fit." The Devs have stated that none of these are against the rules. It's either you won or you lost and people will get salty regardless.

Dead Mans Switch and Nemesis for killer
Stake out and Detectives hunch for Survivor
-
Posts complaining about content that has only been released for 6 days is unhealthy for the game.
-
Toxic? Maybe. Against the rules? No.
-
Has happened to me in every match so far.
-
He's fine, he hasn't even been out a week.
-
Surge is map dependent, but as you said for Stealth Killers like Myers and Ghostface it can provide similar information to Infectious Fright.
I think the cooldown should be reduced to 20 seconds or so but otherwise yeah I like the perk.
-
If you dont have other killer teachables then the best build I can think off is
Bitter Murmur, Spies from the Shadows or Whispers if you know how to use it, Thrilling Tremors, and Sloppy Butcher
For addons: Chewed Pen and Olsens Address Book are usually best. Outdoor Security Camera can be good as well if used correctly.
Teachables to go for:
A Nurses Calling from Nurse
BBQ Chili from Leatherface
Pop goes the Weasel from Clown
Discordance from Legion
Surveillance from Pig
Ruin from Hag if you want to use it
These are most of the perks I would prioritize if I were in your situation.
-
The duration nerf doesn't really matter. The "it only procs on good skill checks" nerf, however makes the perk less reliable than other tracking perks and not worth running. Infectious Fright fits slugging better, BBQ and Thrilling tremors does the "after hook" tracking better, and Surveillance or Discordance help find survivors during downtime better.
Its alright, but it's like Bitter Murmur where its out classed by other perks.

Yeah, true, I think he might be better than Huntress at Window Vaults though. This is due to the fact that he can shoot his spears faster than the Huntress can throw her Hatchets.
Agreed, he does counter LT loops better than Huntress.
-
You literally loop him just like a huntress, but pallets are even safer against him. If you drop the pallet there is nothing he can really do other than break the pallet or try to waste 45 seconds bloodlusting you.
-
I run Mad Grit, Lightborn, Agitation, and Iron Grasp on Billy against every flashlight/sabotage squad I suspect. I stopped seeing them after a couple days at red ranks.
-
A survivor turning so quickly in a chase that at 100+ fps they literally disappear due to the killers fov and auto aim thinks a wall is a survivor.
-
Billy, Doctor, Freddy, Hag, Demogorgon and maybe Nurse with her rework are the most balanced killers.
-
I ran into a 3 man swf flashlight squad running sabo with 1 toolbox at rank 1.
I proceeded to run Iron Grasp, Agitation, Mad Grit, and Lightborn on Billy.
No gens were done that day.
It doesn't always work if survivors are smart, but watching them struggle was exhilarating.
-
Don't DC, Don't get Punished. Its that simple. You have no right to ruin the game for everyone else just because you can't deal with the match. If you must leave the match just afk or let yourself die on the hook like a coward.
-
As a killer main, playing 20 matches and 19 of them were Swamp, Red Forest, Ormond or Coldwind Farm.
-
Still fighting the good fight. The Entity isn't going to feed itself.
-
True Infinite loops finally getting fixed after being told over and over they were balanced.
-
Stress
-
Scenario 1: Leave why are you so worried about another survivor surviving? He got downed and you didn't, finish your challenge.
Scenario 2: Why do you care if survivors get moried. Sure I understand that Ebony Moris can be OP, but do you think the 3-4 SWF members are going to feel bad using a key to leave the match after you were looped for only 3 minutes. The dev's are encouraging you to use it so use it.
Your not here to make sure your teammates or opponents are having a good time. All that matters is if you have fun playing, not them.
-
Do gens if you see the killer proxying the hook. That's what kindred is for.
Most killers do this when they know a survivor is nearby or the gens they want to patrol are nearby.
-
Oni is fine.

The amount of comments here stating I (or any killer) want free kills from the EGC is astounding. I thought I was fairly clear in my post, but all I want is for the game to come to an end when it should be over.
For others stating it's a strategy like slugging, bobyblocking and tunneling, where is my counter? Unbreakable, Flip Flop, Tenacity, Adrenaline, and No Mither (kinda) help counter slugging. Decisive Strike counters tunneling and even more currently along with Borrowed Time. Mad Grit, Agitation, and Iron Will counter body blocking while carrying a survivor, while StBfL counter other moments.
Remember Me won't do anything against a 99%ed door, Blood Warden is COUNTERED by 99%ed doors and NOED can (and will) be removed from the match if the survivors are smart. My only move is to open a door and start the EGC myself which is admitting defeat UNLESS you downed a survivor next to a door and for some reason were running blood warden.
I honestly think Blood Warden in its current form is useless due to the topic of this thread, so why not have blood warden block the doors lever for 60 seconds after hooking a survivor, while retaining its current function if a door was open. The perk obviously can only activate once and can act as a counter for this strategy, while also being down a perk for the rest of the match as a trade off.
-
This has been a known issue since forever. I stopped complaining about it to prevent new survivors from figuring out how exploitable it really is.
-
Run perks that give you the information you need like Kindred, Bond, Empathy, Alert, and others.
Contrary to what some people say you don't need an exhaustion perk supplemented by second chances to survive.
-
Inb4 the "You still 3ked, your just a salty killer" comments start showing up
Rank means nothing nowadays unfortunately. Hopefully the MMR changes will help, but I won't get my Hope's up.
-
The only perks that have unnecessarily long cooldowns are blood echo, surge, and thrilling tremors. If the cooldowns for these 3 perks were cut in half I'd call them relatively balanced.
-
I havent even unlocked DS cause I won't use it and I escape most matches as solo.
I guess it's like a drug, some people can function without it and others need it to function at all. *shrug*
-
Ormond and Haddonfield. Ormond is way to large for killers to patrol effectively. Haddonfield is just terribly unbalanced.
-
It's not 2018 anymore why are people still bringing up BBQChili.
Stop telling other players what they should and shouldn't run. BBQ can help you know where you need to apply pressure which translates to slowing gen progress if you play a high mobility killer or you are skilled enough to know how to apply pressure with an M1 killer. BBQ, simply, gives you information to decide your next move. You ultimately decide how to use that information.
-
If you can quickscope hits often hes alright, but if you have to aim like huntress with her wind up then you might as well play Huntress.
-
I haven't used NOED in over a year I think. Used to use it on freddy before his rework occasionally.
-
Freddy's original nerf after his first week is my number 1 as someone who played since release.
Endurings nerf to no longer effect D Strike is prolly my number 2.
Pigs psuedo nerfs to her traps would prolly be my number 3
The list can go on honestly.
