Can you make this with every new chapter please? @Moundshroud

Just make it so that you're notified about this perk when it activates. This perk is the reason why Calm Spirit is worth using
Yoh already get notified? You scream.

@Echorion You misunderstood @Ruma . The person wanted the killer to get BPs from CAGES also but not get the Aura reading from a Cage, though. So you don't get the aura reading from caging someone initially but you get BPs since you PERFORMED the cage animation and the survivors get stacks for opening the cage and rescuing someone. Hope that cleared that up.
i think he was just joking tho.

tbf cages should work as hooks/unhooks in all regards and for all perks
This would eliminate the whole purpose of cages tho.

That logic makes no sense dude.
There is no reason to change BBQ in a gameplay affecting way, it's a fine perk as is.
How on earth did you even come to the conclusion those two things are even remotely comparable? Like are you just digging at BBQ for some misguided reason or did you just misunderstand what I was saying entirely? I am genuinely asking.
Shame on me. ;(

plz

Honestly the only change I would make to the perk at this point is adding "rescue from cage" score events as well. Not being able to get stacks just because someone picked pyramid head is kinda silly. (It doesn't affect gameplay at all, just blood points so come on)
I would be fine with that if killers get the same with BBQ. (Only bloodpoins, no aura)

Nerf when?

A SWF told me once my fun isnt that important because i am only one and they are 4.

Hot take, but strategies like these are fair. The killer using the strategies to tunnel, camp, or slug, is fair because there is preventative measures and reactionary measures to them.
They're fair, just as is survivors body blocking, doing gens fast, or anything else in their power. The community needs to stop labelling certain actions as "unfair" because it just breeds toxicity.
If you want to talk about unfair, things like Spirit, Nurse, Iri Head Huntress, overpowered perks, broken maps and hit boxes are what would constitute as unfairness, not player playstyle.
Yes, but my point is that BOTH sides have things that are viewed unfair by the others sides and that both sides should stop with complaining about things like this. You can use whatever you want and play however you want but dont complain about the other sides if you arent better.
I am not that good in wording things correctly, so i guess i just said it a bit wrong.

I worded it ,,a bit" wrong i guess. Point still stands.

,,show of skill"
Maybe the bubba was just bad? Then it really wasnt skill. Besides that, 360s are EXTREMLY easy and not skillfull.
-
Only on endgame, if survivors are EXTREMLY toxic or hookbomb me/i know they are near or when someone abuses DS or BT.
If they play fair, i also plas fair.
But if you get rescued and you see i am going for the unhooker and you bodyblock me, you are 100% dead.

I was on a hook last night and another person came along to unhook me while I was struggling but got interrupted by the killer. From my POV I began floating away until someone else came to rescue me.
happened to me too alot lately. Seems like another bug, others can see it too btw.

@Xayrlen said:
Well, they probably do that because you sweat too much on those games. Make the game interesting, give them a hope to win, so they could struggle till the end.
Dont always blame the other side.

They should just change a dc hook suicide to count as 3 hooks not 0 or 1
This wouldnt fix the problem on tge survivor side tho. He screws over their Teammates too.
Also this would reward campers.

They should just make a test weekend with proximity chat.
If it doesnt work, its gone again but if not, it can stay.
I enjoyed the chat in F13.

I kinda liked it until you dropped conditions that makes killer so much harder while they already are very hard.

he should try to kill survivors, but the way he does it is the problem. and most campers are bubbas whos only purpose is to give the survivors a headache and they dont care about deranking.
No, its not a problem as long as he doesnt do it to be toxic. And you rarely see someone whos only purpose it is to camp survivors like camping bubbas, most of the time its just someone trying to secure a kill, to bait someone or to slow down the game if they hook bomb. Theres nothing wrong with it then.

you are being a bit too technical. i mean what would the point of the game be if survivors just fed the killer free hooks
and why shouldnt killer try to kill survivors? Most of the time when someone camps or tunnels, they do it to win the match, not to be toxic.
-
@swager21 said:

i would consider forcing me to depip and not even giving me a fair shot in the game pretty rude
Same could be said when survivors wont give killers free hooks and just try to escape. Thats not toxic or rude.
-
Hell no.

Not all PC players talk bad about Console people, but there's certain people on PC who act like their platform is the better of the two in terms of "skill". Yes Dead By Daylight came to your platform first, but that doesn't give you any right to talk bad about another platform just cause you embrace an elitist attitude. People who play on console have been through a lot, and yet PC people tend to ignore that. Don't believe me, well I can name quite a list of things.
Horrible optimization - This will always be the biggest issue for console people, the worst fps drop I ever experienced was at least 10 fps with Doctor when the Stranger Things chapter came out. You're literally playing a powerpoint presentation, meanwhile a game like Rocket League runs at an incredible 60 fps on console for PS4. Also the DBD tutorial runs at 60 fps, why can the base game not do that?
Horrible sensitivity - 360's were terrible to hit before the sensitivity increase because you literally couldn't turn your camera fast enough in the direction the survivor was going to hit them. Which lead to a lot of people being insulted for being juked thanks to terrible sensitivity..
Console feedback - This is something I want to point out because it's hard for us console people to give feedback on certain things because we get ignored quite a bit.
Killers being handicapped - Everyone who plays on console knows how awful it feels at times to play Blight, since your turn rate is reduced massively and thus making it harder to do things that PC players can do with Blight. Oni was terrible to play on release for console because you couldn't even turn at all when trying to Demon Dash, thankfully this was addressed and fixed and hopefully something will be done for console Blight's.
Toxicity - PC players can act like they've experienced toxicity worse, but at least you can hide you're little chat box to not see toxic comments. Meanwhile us console people have to go into our privacy settings, and make our messages private and change our friend request settings so we don't have to deal with the endless barrage of toxic comments. Also I generally believe that console toxicity is worse than PC personally.
So yeah if you're gonna insult console people, at least acknowledge the amount of stress we've been through before you insult our platform. At least us console players don't stretch screen our screens out for advantages, at least we don't use Surround Sound to give us easier Spirit matches, at least we don't put macros on our flashlights to annoy people, at least we don't abuse exploits that aren't allowed in game. I know we don't have the resources to do any of this stuff, but I'm just Saiyan. In terms of skill I think we match up with you PC players pretty good, not at Blight but at with other killers and survivor definitely.
Rant over.
Oh my gosh. I always only played on PS4 and never knew how 60 fps on DbD feels like, but after you told us that the tutorial runs at 60 fps and i tested it and its really soooo good. Now i want a PS5 even more!
Also you made great points.
-
Gen speeds are fine, we just need some kind of early game or another objective.

Controllers will pretty much always have a handicap against a mouse and keyboard. Oni has the same issue, stronger on PC than on console, nurse is another.
Thats not true, i am playing Nurse and Oni on console and have absolutly no problems. Only with Blight since its not possible because you cant adjust the lunge there for some reason.
Otherwise its just a matter of how YOU are able to play with. Controller users can be as good as M&K

I think you're missing my point. You just said that if you can't pressure gens, then they fly without ruin, which is try. You then said that letting Michael stalk then is for bad survivors. It's a dichotomy between the two. Any Michael who knows what they're doing in this won't commit to chases, they'll glean as many stalk points as they can. They either break line of sight/stalk or they keep doing the gens and let him stalk the hell out of them.
I think you forgot I mentioned corrupt intervention too. Snowball killers like Michael benefit immensely from corrupt, especially with ruin.
Yes they wont go into chases, that would be stupid.
But survivors arent stupid too. If they notice whats going on (which they really should when they notice he just keeps stalking without really chasing them) they will just split up and start bashing out the gens. If they get spotted they just run a bit and then head instantly back to the gen. You cant pressure 4 gens at once, and since you arent actively chasing, hooking or injuring someone, they will get back to the gens really fast.
Of course solo q exists, but thats a other problem which should be looked into but once solo got the buff it deserves, he really wont be a problem.
-
Eww, i feel sorry for you. What happened?

The point of stalking Myers is to not apply pressure. It's to let the survivors feel relaxes so that you can glean as much stalk from them as you need. With the strongest 4-gen possible and ruin, survivors who stay on gens will feed you points, but if they leave the gens to break line of sight, they let the gen regress in their face. Decent survivors aren't just going to sit around for 2 minutes, so they'll be persistent and feed you a considerable amount of stalk points.
If you cant pressure gens fly fast and ruin/undying is completly useless. Only bad survivors let michael stalk that much before atleast 2 gens popped.
Normally you should get done atleast 3/12 - 4 gens before he reaches tier 3 then. Atleast in my SOLO matches we always get that many gems done unless my mates are COMPLETE potatos.

That's why I stipulated that you need corrupt and ruin.
Just like @Volfgang57 already said, even then it they must be terrible at the game when they get stalked that much, especially since a stalking myers have almost no pressure.

@ShamelessPigMain said:
Yeah, it was meant to be balanced by increasing the amount of stalking required, but it's still a ridiculously powerful and is a well-worth trade. If you run corrupt and ruin too, you can get one survivor out of the game before the first gen pops, and just snowball like hell from there.
If you get it to happen before one gen pops, the survivors are the worst ones you can imagine.

In the last time I have seen several tierlists, in many of them the nurse was positioned in tier S but some of them even put her in tier B
I haven't played for a long time, just under a month, but from what I understand if you know how to use the nurse you are very strong and therefore I was wondering why this choice
I am learning her currently and she can be EXTREMLY powerfull but also extremly hard and punishing.
But many people say she is stronger than she is because they think she simply has to blink correctly but totally forget about the fact, that survivors arent bots and and predict and dodge her easily, depending on how predictable you play. Lost of sigh is her big counter and there is tons of room for mindgames as a survivor, especially with iron will.
Thats why you should always blink to corners where you last saw the survivors but if they know you will do this, it will be wasted too.
Nurse is still one of the strongest and yet hardest killers in the game.

@IWasLeft2Die said:
Kicking gens should take off a chunk of progress and the loss of progress is so minimal right now. Both should be raised. As is every second a killer has regressing on a gen (as base) is 1/4 the progress changes that a single survivor does by themselves repairing it. I think a killers regression should about equal one survivor repair progress on a gen.
So kicks be like a 5% for a kick and 1 for 1 single survivor progress with gens not being worked on at all decaying at 1/8 the progress a single survivor does automatically.
I could be into a basekit weaker BT could be nice. Like a 1 second protection off hook to avoid facecamping more.
The only problem with BT i got, is when they instantly unhook right after i turn around. I then want to go for the rescuer but the unhooked one then just bodyblocks me but then cry about being tunneled. If they fix this somehow, i wouldnt have any problem with BT being basekit.
