I'd love if she/Myers/Freddy etc got a visual update in general, then we could maybe get a cooler mori too

If 21 meters is high mobility for you that thats like maximaly 1/5 of the map in straight like and for me thats not high mobility but just some catch up mobility for medium distances if survivors allow it most of times.
Well that's what I'm saying, that's healthier, its meant for catchup not cross map traversal in a matter of seconds, that's not fair at all in any game.

Wesker doesnt have high mobility, he cowers just short distance fast and thats all (not to mention there must be no objects blocking him and in straight like its 21 meters plus minus because of acceleration), chucky covers more distance in his dash than wesker and we dont call him high mobility killer.
Wesker is good but the infection hinder was overnerfed and still has few bad mechanics like going through full cooldown when he grabs the survivor and falls with him from hill, second floor of the main or even two steps he will go through full cooldown which limits his power more than other killers and he is jus high b-tier with golden egg and strong build if the player doesnt know how to consistently skinibirds, hug techs and instahugs he isnt that good on most loops than people think.
I never meant to say he had high mobility, I meant to say he has the perfect amount the HIGH mobility should be brought in line with IMO.
I really think super mobility is unhealthy in DBD and needs brought down -

Always funny to see Wesker and high mobility in one sentence. Jump on 21 meter and then lose another 3-4 meters due to cooldowns is barely mobility at all, entity forbid "high" mobility. Literally every second killer has better mobility than Wesker.
That's because high mobility is out of control to the point people like you don't consider Weskers power as mobility lmao
-
I really dislike how much people sweat in event queue too when people are generally just trying to get the challenges done.
And then there is the other people who bring Sadako, so survivors have a really awkward time going into the void too coz the tapes stop you from entering until you get rid of it. -
I feel he is by far the funnest high mobility killer to play against, I always have the most fun interacting with him and feel the S-tiers should be closer to him.
has a high skill ceiling too for skill experession (if his sliding is still in) -

I feel this is just perk design on both sides, it sucks.
from Invocations being horribley useless to Apocalyptic ingenuity having such a stupid activation for what's just a party pallet. -

That is untrue, because the that PTB's anti tunnel system goes against goal 3.
IDK you still had the option to do it, you just were taking a risk of the gens being more vulnerable, so the Agency was still there.
That said, if we give feedback maybe they'll add the buffs from the last one, I personally was excited for the regression being nerfed in favour of having baseline regression and other options like BBQ's perma bonus after unhooking 4 unique survs -
- 1. Maybe speed up Demogorgons portal placing/usage
2. Give Unknown a brown addon that lets them see where there shot lands and bounces
3. Maybe give Nemesis the option to deactivate zombies from a distance like Skull Merchants drones, would help with how they get stuck etc.
- 1. Maybe speed up Demogorgons portal placing/usage
-
I really do feel an addon that lets you see how UVX will bounce/arc would go such a long way with them. like build in the photos speed from teleporting and then change it into the arc or something.

All I care about is if this game is fun, for everyone playing to HAVE FUN.

It’s pretty unrealistic for me to people expect both things will happen. Because if you want to cater to casual players, you have to do so with killers as well
Yet no one seems happy to see Krasue or Ghoul. Even without tunneling. I wonder why.
Between harder mechanical killers and enabled tunneling and no tunnelling but braindead killer mechanica I’ll always prefer the first one
yeah that's what I'm meaning, I'd prefer the other if I had to chose one. I think the game would be in a much easier to balance state if A's were the new S-tiers. Current ceiling for killers is unrealistic for any of the older killers to strive for without redesigning all of them drastically.

Yes, and I'm saying Last Stand users don't deserve to gain BP since using the perk requires no effort. It's the only form if saving that's unavoidable with basekit killer mechanics. Only singularity can avoid these stuns and thats if his short ass duration is still active while hes picking up. I don't care for consistency or the fact that other perk related stuns give bp, perks that are unavoidable and or busted shouldn't be rewarded for.
Make a new thread about it then when this is about an entirely different issue.
-
I like your idea! Wouldn't really matter tho when the S-Tiers can travel across the map in no time flat.
Systems like this won't work until they are bought down to weskers level -
@tes said:
I expect game look like this:
— Survivors with already low ER will die anyway, and such changes wouldn't help them at all
— Survivor with ER above average will skyrocket their results
— Killers will get rid of idea opportunistic tunneling and will start commit to hard tunnel only on 5 gen or ping pong 2 people
— Killers will start to play on S tiers even more
So… like it was on last PTB, at least I felt so.
Overall, result of the match will be defined after first unhook
But hey cool devs will get increase of numbers they want to see from their broken data
I'd have honestly taken a nerf to the s-tiers than to make tunneling harder, coz I feel those are the ones who enable tunneling the most.
-
@SoGo said:
I 100% agree with you.
I was saying when the anti-tunnel first released, that having a 32 meter aura read on the killer is too much.
Now that it works through undetectable (basically the return of old OOO), I am proven correct.
Wicked is enough. The TR exists for a reason.
This change needs to be scrapped.
I think it's fine, this is good for newer and more casual players who legit want to get away from the killer. I encounter them way more than I do people bodyblocking with anti-tunnel perks.
Plus the downside is gone to tunneling so just punish them for it. -
I'm excited for them, I do hope they'll revisit the older SH skins and bring them up to RE's quality at the least.
Cybil's hair being updated and made closer to her SH1 self would be night and day.
Same with Cheryl, but she could use a lot of changes honestly -
That's… imperessive placement LOL
-
@CompetitifDBD said:
Punishment of getting an unavoidable save I guess. Last stand saves gotta be the most annoying thing to experience as a killer, just watching as that survivor emotes and slides under a window pisses me off, cus you already know that mf is not getting picked up until you deal with the last stand user.
What does you not liking the perk have anything to do with it not awarding points? LOL
-
For most my friends it's the release of Ghoul/Krasue being ignored by the devs how destructive they are to the casual experience, as are all of the S-tiers. I'd honestly take nerfs to these killers and blanket buffing killers again over them remotely existing, I hate them, so do my friends.
Fog Vials were a huge disappointment and the cold feet on the anti-tunnel and slug too just before a huge event which has just encouraged toxic playstyles yet again. All the try hards go into the event queue and ruin it for everyone, it sucks. -

Ah okay if it was just a reference to them saying it and not actually doing anything then that’s fair. I don’t personally remember if they did or didn’t say that. I can’t think of anything tangible that made the experience any better for killers last year other than a couple QoL at best, nothing in terms of balance.
No problem! I honestly thought the fresh hook incentives for extra BBQ and baseline pop would have helped me alot with my chase builds (it's how I have the most fun playing killer), to give me a bit more breathing room.
Maybe they'll re add them in the PTB if they feel the incentives aren't enough. -
@Blueberry said:

There was no killer focus at all last year, which changes are you referring to?
Oh I apologise, it's not my words I just remember an interview from this years anniversary about it, so take it with a grain of salt lol
Mainly just a lot of focus on Killer updates, making events more friendly for killers, things like the mori finisher system among other QoL. Haddonfield among other killer sided map changes like Borgo and Coldwind. The spawn changes also, the faster startup to break interactions.
I'm not saying it "fixed" killer issues, just they said it was a focus.
Also they still are making a lot of nice killer changes, like the scratch marks change and the bloodlust off hook, so I guess that was just a random line thrown out there. I just remember it being mentioned, maybe just a buzz phrase or something to get people excited for the QoL -
I think they mentioned at the anniversary they were taking this year to really look into survivor QoL in an interview no? Much like how last year Killer was a huge focus, so I'm guessing it's tied to that.
Or I'm misremembering. They also probably get plenty of feedback with how vocal the Killer community is via content creation.
It could just be they already feel they have all the data on killer side they want rn and are choosing to tackle more pressing health issues the game has. Like none of my friends want to play DBD on survivor side anymore who play very casually and I feel like thats a huge red flag when it comes to multiplayer games I've enjoyed in the past.
When all the casual players are gone for the most part, what are you left with? Lots of experienced players and a more miserable killer experience.
At least that's my two cents. -
I think it depends on the killer being played too, the S-tiers the game is absoloutley killer sided especially with full gen regression builds.
-
I was really looking forward to the bonuses hooking in the previous iteration as a killer who leaves the hook to find another survivor, shame that we just only get the bonus now.
The baseline bbq and pop would have given chase builds more breathing room. -

- Guys, the number of perks that deserve a buff (especially on the survivor side) is huge... Cut Cloose is just one of many. Just to name a few: all the "teamwork" perks, deadline, rapid response, buckle up, better than new, invocation crows , apocalyptic ingenuity, boon illumination …………….. We all complain about always seeing the same 10-15 perks on both sides (killer and survivor)... the reason is really easy to understand.
yeah this, I really wish Apocalyptic ingenuity was easier to get value from.
-
I think the perk would be okay if it didn't just immune them AND give aura reading, I feel that should be given to shadowborn instead.
-
They kind of did address toolboxes with the streetwise nerf as it was one of those perks that made commodius so obnoxious.
I kind of think they just serve their purpose now, I'd argue hyperfocus + Stake out is more problematic but with the S-tier TR increase to 40m, that's probably the biggest issue. Quite frankley they deserve it. -

I'm not the one making the claim here, the person i was replying to is. They said: "i just run these perks and i'm having a great time" so i'm pointing out things contrary to that, the onus is on them to provide the evidence that their claims are correct.
I said it makes my time easier when dealing with the new pallet changes, I was honestly just trying to give some help with something I was having a bit more luck with.
As I said earlier when I clarified it wasn't winning me every game, it just made my chases feel better is what i'm trying to say -
Yeah all my recent interactions with the support team have been really positive <3

Some of us don't like losing 3 gens in the first chase.
Which is fair, but it's not every game in my case, some games that will happen regardless even with gen regression coz you still need to get the first down quickly.
with the new spawn rules if they are getting 3 gens first chase its probably due to an awful first chase, running chase perks helps with that. -
I honestly am really excited for the buffs so I can use the new event cosmetic as her.
At least she is more playable until her rework now -

Yeah and it's boring to play M1 killers when you can't do nothing but eat pallets.
I've just been running brutal/Enduring/Spirit Fury/Hubris and having a field day, so just adapt until they fix it.
-
Maybe that's a sign we need to take care of those killers lol they make this game so boring.
-
Are we forgetting she has built in slowdown which is obnoxious with the right build too? I don't think she needs anymore buffs, I think she is in a decent place now. Unlike Michael she has her power at all times ontop of the bear traps.
-
I think after the pallet update I really enjoy it versus any killer who isn't an S-tier, any of the hyper mobility killers make it miserable tho

Survivors that like to excessively hide, want lockers to always be available, so they can use them to dodge killer tracking perks. They also want reliable lockers to easy mode hide from the killer, because some uninjured survivors are extremely difficult to hear in lockers, even if the killer is right next to the locker, and there isn’t any chase music.
And yes, lockers being more reliable is a buff for survivors, even if they aren’t in a chase. Excessively hiding survivors is a major game problem, and we don’t need to make it any worse than it currently is.
If survivors are excessively hiding they aren't doing gens, if the match is boring there is an abandon feature if no gens are being done?
I don't see how having lockers for both sides is an issue? -

that's what I'm saying
No, you said "he felt BS to go against before when he could do them easily.".
Why it was BS? Because he was able to hit around corners? Well, he can do it now and it's easier than ever before. I really wouldn't say it was easy before. Before it was something I could respect, because Oni had to put lot of hours into it to do it reliably. That's not really the case anymore.
It read BS before on the survivor side, it did not look normal before the change. Now It looks fine like they actually moved there. Flicking so quick not even the server knew what happened on time is utter BS.
Survivors can still out maneuver the current one you just have to respect where it can happen, there is time to react now.
So no, don't take what I said out of context lol read what I say please after the fact and put 2 and 2 together, instead of cherry picking. -
I feel it would be okay if you could go into the realm with her tape, it's not like you can get rid of it or she needs to teleport to it lol
-
I personally wish the hair was different, or that he eventually gets different hair colours like this in future, coz he is handsome with the other versions I love the black hair one.
Shame the hair is giving prince charming -
I love the changes on this realm, but this is more a general feedback to the tile updates:
Please keep the extra lockers you've added, I love them on Dredge and I love them as a deception/head on user -
Until the S-Tiers are fixed people are just gonna DC constantly even with incentives:
Bring them down to Weskers level. -
Yay it got killswitched <3 well done! Now I can play more later today

Funny is I would say it's so much easier to hit around corners now than before…
It's easier but worse, because it's slower and you need at least some space around you for it.
But It's definetly not something I would respect anymore.I think it's fine it is easier, that's what I'm saying. Them making it easier to do on controller is what they were aiming to do in the first place.
I think he is more accessible now. -

Not fun at all! You have to predrop pallets now similar to Pig/PH, there is no room for cool mindgames, or greeding pallets just another boring ass overbuffed killer (for those that have 0 braincells) we have to go against🤬
What? You mean the mindgames leading up to tier 3 don't exist? He has to earn that power and it's not even super broken lol

No, the quote has definitely been misunderstood.
Tunneling is a very consistent and relatively easy strategy to pull off for the Killer. Playing nice inherently involves more work as you're leaving your opponents in the match longer. Making the game harder for Killers by increasing the amount of pallets Survivors have makes "playing nice" much more difficult and so some Killers have decided factoring the Survivors' fun into their playstyle is now no longer worth the hassle.
In other words, the game became noticeably harder for all but the strongest Killers with the pallet density increase and so some Killers have decided to fall back on an easier, more consistent strategy. You're assigning malice to what is easily explained by a simple desire to win. Of course there are some individuals out there who do these things maliciously, but the vast majority of Killers are not queuing up with the express intention of "punishing other players", nor are they "miserable". They're playing in the way they feel is necessary given the current state of the game.
It's Necessary if you want to continue the toxic snowball mentality which plagues this game rn, you don't NEED to win every game on either side. People are just doing their challenges in the event mode for the most part.
IF you're playing DBD to win of all games in its current state you're just wishing stress and upset on yourself, you literally answered what I said to you back to me lol.
If I get sacrificed, so what? If I don't get a 3k? So what. The issue is, people are playing for a Wendy's gift card and expecting the devs to balance around that.
The message isn't being misunderstood, you're just trying to validate an awful mindset to approach this game with and the Anti-Tunnel/Slugging is going to make people like you sad coz you're too used to playing this way.
