Would be nice if we had a brown add on which shows where the shot bounces too, or make it base kit lol
-
I think Harry Mason is well overdue and I really hope they make Cybil and Cheryl look more like their actual selves as well coz Cybils hair is a mess.

yes please, he looks terrible :/
i’m a p100 trevor who has all of his other skins, but couldn’t bring myself to buy this one because his face was just so awful lmao. really hoping they’ll give him a touch up
I feel like they need to start consulting fans about licensed skins, so often they mess them up to the point it's upsetting, like who thought Cybil looks anything like her, or Chris Redfield lol
-
I'd agree but the ugly survivor animations/lack of them are probably what take me out of this game the most lmao it's REALLY ugly, then there is all the cosmetic glitches too.

stop trying to get killers nerfed. All they have to do is buff weak killers imagine the kill rates if blight and nurse didn’t exist.
Wouldn't by that logic it be better if they got nerfed so they can see the issue with killer overall? no? lol
-
I keep parroting my opinion all the time, but I feel all S-Tiers/hyper mobility needs brought down to Wesker's level. That's when I'll have a more consistently fun time in this game. I don't need to win all the time, I just want chases that are fun as a casual player.
I play lots of killer and playing someone like Unknown while they exist is just irritating -
That's because those gens were probably already being worked on while the other one was as well before speeds applied, that happens a lot in 2v8.
It's just how things line up early game sometimes. -
I like hoarder with human greed, its a shame we don't have coin offerings also on killer to have more chests on the map, only that one anniversary offering.
-
Honestly I'd not mind if it went back to the old way, I hope they add other exhaustion variants like a head on/last stand class and a boon one eventually.
I really feel survivors need more variety to make this mode a main stay. I really enjoy both sides now Legion isn't here though, love playing killer it's so much fun, best tip I can give to other killers is work with your team mate more. -

If anything they should try to make his face look more like the badge icon, he looks great there.
Yeah literally this, please make it happen! <3
-
Yeah you really missed the memo on this one BHVR, can we please make him look like himself, you didn't even match your splash art you made LOL like where is his jaw
Oh and he is bugged he doesn't pull his headbands like he is supposed to, he pulls thin air in the lobby. But this is false advertisement, he looks nothing like this.

This he looks nothing like Richter, he looks like some messed up version of Emma Stone.
-
apparantley he can use his power ontop of lockers you are in to show you are inside it too, coz the bite mark shows up.
This killer is irritatingly boring. -
So long as we aren't allowing the S-tiers in the mode, I'm in
-
Leave the hook, problem solved for trapper and come back when someone is near the hook I guess, I don't see it being any weaker, that's the point of a trap no?
-
No one wants to play against Ghoul/Nurse/Blight/Krasue so their data is probably all messed up anyways.
-
I played billy at release then fast forward to today I play Unknown/Dredge and Dracula (I love castlevania), Unknown I really love how they play I feel I'm always learning new shots as them.
-
Yup they need to deal with them, it's getting beyond a joke how many hyper mobility killers we have now. It's not fun to play against at all, it's probably a huge reason why a lot of core players stop playing too on survivor side.
We need to bring them down to Wesker's level around about. -
Yeah I honestly think the sooner we deal with the hyper mobility killers the sooner we'll see more killer variety. And keep buffing the lower tiers
It's getting beyond a joke how much I see them. -
I think it's because they are afraid such changes would harm their content they do like the win streaks/challenge runs, the popular ones anyways. Maybe they are afraid? Coz I notice they've been trying other games recently to kind of set roots in variety incase things go wrong in DBD
But that's just an observation -

The only complaint they won't ignore are skins.
that's not true, so many legendaries have like a huge list of bugs as do normal cosmetics, and they keep piling more broken ones to the list.

I played for survivor and it was instant? But on my 6th game something happened. I wasn’t able to queue. I waited around 20 minutes (London servers)
Go to killer - insta
the London servers are only up on certain days, so maybe it's something to do with that and splitting the playerbase randomly
-
I'd love this perk to have more use and award bps for using it, IDK why it doesn't give any
-
Maybe a warning that the anti camp is kicking in?

To think sloppy butcher died so we could have tons of healing perks for survivors.
I still see it plenty and it does its job not to mention gift of pain if you want it applied on unhook.
That said, I don't think these builds are anywhere near as problematic as the Circle of Healing Meta. A whole build to heal off hook isn't really an issue if you aren't aiming to tunnel.
if they have all these healing perks, they have no chase perks, right? -
High mobility is far more problematic for tunneling lol
-
I think a versus AI queue would be good for the game honestly for both sides, allows people to practice and get bps with less pressure.
Honestly I'd play it a lot with friends when we just want to chat and relax, without needing to sweat just to stand a chance. -
I think this could be decent honestly, especially since she is really good at preventing body blocking/avoiding stuns with the phase. It's a good idea honestly.
-
Yeah it's one of the worst things about facing Pig, especially those who have the scream and slower box search builds.

I think Survivors should see the perks of their mates too but… and here is a big but…
It would drastical increase the lobby dodging. Running Self Care? Next… Running Chest builds? Next… Running Sole Survivor and Left behind for a streak? NEXT!!!
Yeah exactly, so I'm kind of torn on it, unless they add a penalty for dodging too much finally.
-
I love stealth killers, aside from wraith, who I think is just boring to play as and against.
Otherwise I'd really love to see them brought up to mikey's level of interaction and strength. Maybe GF having his 2v8 speed in night shroud or something, pig is in a good place I feel now. -
Yeah Lobby dodging is a huge issue in the game, honestly the entire lobby system and UI needs a rework.
if the killer couldnt see the survivors they'd not dodge, same for the survivors. At the same time it'd be nice to see co-survivor perks etc. -
@Massquwatt said:
I've spent a lot of time playing ghoul and I came to the conclusion he probably needs his ability to be hitscan, without it he'd be genuinely awful to play. It'd be like trying to shoot survivors as deathslinger while moving at the pace of Billy's chainsaw sprint and admittedly, getting those snap grabs after whipping around a corner at mach 1 feels pretty great.
Being hit stun for a few seconds for him to lick his hand and then screech isn't exactly a fun experience on the other end though, and I've seen a lot of them be fine getting 2 m1's in a row using their mobility. I honestly feel if that's how he was he'd feel a lot funner to go against.
I personally don't think the 1st hit is at all necessary and they could have gone another design route to make him more enjoyable for the player and the opponent. Coz I can have a lot of fun when you play against his 2nd hit map depending, however the 1st hit just removes endurance/denies it with zero effort which is a huge issue in why he is irritating. -

Don't know if this was already discussed before, but BHVR could balance killers a little bit by increasing or decreasing the number of pallets depending of the killer's tier.
Let's say that X map comes with 10 pallets by default and then if the killer is Trapper or Ghostface the game adds 3 or 5 more pallets, but if it's Blight or another high tier killer 10 or 12 extra pallets it is.
There are a lot of killers that if they got nerfed they would be more fair, but also feels like crap to play similar how playing as Chucky felt when he got his dash speed nerfed.
This way you could, for example, short the cooldown for Vecna's Mage Hand which would make play him feel better and more unique since you're also adding more pallets to him specifically.
AND of course this do not work with Nurse (what a shock, huh?).
To tone her down I think the only way is make her blind while charging blinks.I don't have faith in them until they bring the S-tiers to Wesker's level, the fact we've nerfed perks so many times because Nurse exists or the like.
And they have tried doing this with the previous anti tunnel, giving the hyper mobility killers less rewards, so they are aware of them, just won't bring them in line. I don't care if people here agree with me, but everyone I know outside of the forums won't play this game anymore because of the S-tiers being so frequent and so many of them now.
I'm wondering if its just a matter of they don't have the time/resources to spare to balance them, so they just end up forever on the backburner.
not that pallets would help with the killers who are actually a problem rn, it just punishes the ones who have to respect pallets. -
Well they are putting an addon to test their proposed 2v8 changes in the test beta 3 day from now, so… we could try that out and give feedback based on what they propose? That seems like a good start

That’s a great idea! I think the recommended builds would differ depending on the regional servers, and it could also help strengthen the community. I’m a Japanese fan artist who draws Dead by Daylight art on X, and I’ve noticed that players on the Asia servers often bring Self-Care, but I’ve heard it’s different in other regions. It would be really interesting to see those cultural differences reflected in the popular community builds.
Yeah for sure, some other games do things like that in a recommended tab showing perk/equipment pick rates together in like RPG games etc, I feel like something along these lines could help new players more see what is effective in the current patch.
-
I want the previous version with improvements, like maybe more regression than 5 percent for killer for a unique hook or some kind of grim embrace thats brief, one of the popular perks to allow the killer to play fair
that way the anti tunnel can stay and be powerful, but there is more breathing room for the killer to play as expected too, give both sides more breathing room for mistakes, see how that goes.
Also hyper mobility is a (teehee) blight on this game and needs nursed (teehee) to healthy amounts like Wesker. -
Hyper mobile killers are the issue for tunneling, I don't think any amount of anti tunnel/anti camp will ever fix that
-
Yeah I wish if they are going to push the comp scene so hard they'd make an actual queue for it, it's not old dbd anymore
-
I honestly wish it'd go back to the old version even as a killer main, it was far easier to read back then and people werent getting the on hit movement speed reward they are now. As it stands it was injured Dramaturgy without the chance of getting more distance or an item, not to mention if you messed it up you still had a health state to spare.
It's a controversial take, but I think old DH was no less problematic than other exhaustion perks. I'd love to see it back in modern DBD if even for a test to see if its REALLY that problematic.
Plus as a killer hitting someone and hearing the down noise only to find out they used dead hard coz it's misleading/bugged, and are flying away with the on hit boost is way more annoying than, oh teehee I went a small distance through your attack. -

Everyone has played against legion in 2v8, they're the most popular killer in the mode. And for the record, it takes like 15-20 seconds for legion to get their power back. Them getting that fast happens when you keep feeding them hits, you need to bodyblock in deep wounds. The killer is not fast at all with a single hit, hes a measly 5% faster per hit, thats 5m/s with one chain hit, which with the size of these maps and survivors actually being smart and staying apart, they should never be extending their power.
the thing is you aren't going to get just 1 hit, you're going for the majority and it adds up, very quickly.
Asking 8 randoms potentially to stay split up is unreasonable, at best its 4 killer duos and even again unreasonable.
You can't just body block as he outruns you, and you lose your hitbox at first, not to mention latency there is to account for too.
They are going to bring them back more suitable for the mode so it's clear it was an issue lol not to mention the forums and socials were ablaze about them. -
I love this list <3 I hope you get what you want eventually
-
Maybe some trial builds instead? popular community builds or something, especially for each killer

i mean bhvr doesnt really care about deaf people since killers still have no visual effect for survivor sounds (survivors have the heartbeat thing for terror radiuses) killer meanwhile is just good luck lmao
We are getting the scratch marks colour change soon at least, which will help.

There should be some kind of visual cue.
He gives so many audio cues, and not a single visual one.
Something like the exposed vignette maybe that happens when you get exposed.
-
If it's a silly event mode I'll take it, like an april fools one where the survivors chase the killer. But it'd probably get old fast LOL

I mean, people could just split up, which is the usual counterplay to Legion, even in 2v8. You can also body block while in deep wounds to prevent extra chain hitsz but no one does that either, even in 1v4. It quite literally is the lack of MMR and actually good players getting paired with severely inexperienced survivors who can't think about their positioning and mend timing yet.
It's suprising too, since obviously if you still have a strong heartbeat while you're mending, the other killer is coming to "clean up" or the Legion is coming back to get another chain hit if you were too stupid and mended. Survivors also have ridiculous healing speeds and tools to their disposal, two Medic classes can instantly heal any survivors nearby.
that's a lot of survivors doing nothing to respect a killer who can get their power back in a matter of seconds, all to repeat the process again.
Not to mention how fast legion gets when he stabs several survivors in 2v8. You're really sounding like you've not played against them on the survivor side at all… -
It probably doesn't help killers can spam a button/switch inputs to drop fps to allow them to ignore the pallet stun also. I'm unsure if this ever got fixed
-
I think a lot of my grievances with playing as killer is our experienced is balanced around:
-S-Tiers existing
-Gen Regression Meta existing
-The terrible escape/kill MMR
-Small maps with no pallets (which just got fixed on the ones it mattered)
I think playing as any of the A-tiers the game feels where it should be in terms of chase balance, but because killers have no way of getting gens to be slowed down BASELINE, we feel the need to take the path of least resistance (tunneling currently) to make our lives easier.
the anti-tunnel bonuses were a good start for helping killers have more breathing room for more builds, if they were too weak we could have gotten better bonuses. I personally hate needing to rely on any form of gen regression.
I do think the anti-tunnel needs to happen for the casual experience, but we need stuff in place for the killer casual experience too, its insane how awful this game is for casual killers who are playing "fairly". -

Other than the killer's long standing free hit issue, he had no problems at all and he's still a horrible killer.
in 1v4 maybe that's the case, but in 2v8 that's a huge issue when taking another killer who doesn't have that limitation in mind.
The things my friends and I could do as Legion + any other killer was just disgusting, and it got boring after a while. -
People just don't like playing against teams that involve them right now @Slurp_Ramen and @CompetitifDBD. It's not fun at all to face against and it's not a rare opinion either, most my friends weren't gonna play 2v8 because of them possibly still existing.
I honestly would rather they focus on their lethality on their own like they are trying to do in a way that's fair, than make them mega busted for information and forcing everyone to have 1 health state.
