We could show it after the game.
Even TCM had to remove this feature because people will shop for the easiest games possible.
It got so bad that you get a 3 minute matchmaking ban if you dodge a lobby now.

Honestly if the idea that you can't force people to play out a match and that's why we can't do anything about hook suicides, then the pre-game lobby should show SWF groups so players can decide before the match begins if they want to play it out.
I don't really see the correlation.

I don't get this. Almost none of the Pigs I play against tunnel, and it's actually a really poor way to play her (the ones who I do see tunnel almost always lose). The primary benefit of the traps isn't to kill, but to waste the survivor's time. Chasing survs with traps on while letting the others actually advance objectives is just silly.
I am not a Pig main by any stretch, but I do pretty well with her and I essentially ignore survs with a trap on.
But as for the topic, I hate facing the usual suspects like SM and Legion for reasons stated, but the one I hate the most is kind of unusual: Wraith. And I'm not sure I can say exactly why, I just hate him, and have for years.
Trickster used to make the list, but now I see him about as frequently as I do Twins, which is to say essentially never.
The best way to play Pig is by taking advantage of the fact that Jigsaw Boxes will lure the Survivors out into weird places and then ambush them there. Survivors with active traps especially, as they generally don't heal.
Fully committing to a chase with a trapped Survivor is a bad idea, but it's REALLY easy to turn one hook into two, or even a kill by taking advantage of this fact.
-
Don't run any perks that give you Endurance. It bugs the off hook Endurance itself.
-
I really do think you're overblowing it a bit. His cooldowns are annoying but he's still very capable.
You can still double chase, you just have to zone from slightly further away. The patrol length minimum isn't a big deal either, it still doesn't take that long to drop a guard.
-
Lara? In the Fog? More likely than you think.
-
Pig. I don't really care if she's not super viable and she's just an M1 killer, but her traps encourage tunneling at pretty much every stage of the game. They are quite trivial to cheese extra hook stages or a kill once they're on. A lot of Pig players play like their life depends on it too.
I generally start playing super safe when I know it's a Pig. My teammates, though, not so much.
-
They probably had a flashbang on them each and had the perk charged as well. That's 4 flashbangs.
Flashbangs kind of bypass the whole locker save prevention thing, which probably should be changed. Make the blind protection last for another second after finishing the search animation.
-
That's about 3 ggs per second for the past 6 years.

The only footage we've seen is 2 devs vs 8 people that literally play the game for a living. The skill difference is already out of whack there. It's best to reserve judgement until people equally skilled at the game can give it a go.
Furthermore, the previous special modes have been killer sided. It's just the nature of these modes, they can't dedicate time to making it so perfectly balanced for a short 2 week run.
The final thing to consider is that it will require 8 survivors. If you made it easier on killer or too unfun for survivors, you're gonna have a hard time even finding a lobby with 8 people willing to play. In this instance it is probably better for it to be survivor sided if it is at all, just from a sheer numbers standpoint.
Peanits was lowkey cracked at Huntress I'm ngl. He was hitting some good shots.
-
I honestly don't care if they add autoaim back. His gameplay loop and strategy remain pretty much the same with or without it.
Good biopod placement and macro play is what differentiates the good Singularity players from the bad ones. Aiming is honestly a pretty small component of it comparatively.

I would agree with this change before they nerfed Sloppy.
It's still pretty common, honestly.

This right here! 3 blink nurse is not ideal ever due to the long af cool down each blink adds to the cool down as well as swinging. Don't get me wrong she's still op and s-class but she won't be the dominate queen she is in 1v4.
It's a good thing she's getting reduced fatigue too then!
(It's not)
((Why are they buffing Nurse))
-
Honestly, I agree. If Iron Will can be at 100% then No Mither should be as well.
-
Running at an instadown killer while they're camping is not advisable. You just have to do gens and let them hang until his Tier 3 runs out.
-
Singularity does have counterplay, even without an EMP. Breaking LOS is pretty important. If you do have an EMP, you're pretty much fine, though. There's also still a window to outrun him even when he TPs to you. Most of the buffs he got were QoL things.
He got 3% Haste but that was paired with the fact that Overclock couldn't increase based on the number of Slipstreamed Survivors.
The same patch they nerfed Buckle Up also came with a bunch of regression nerfs too. Pain Resonance, Pop, Grim Embrace and Deadlock were all nerfed alongside it. Some more than others, sure, but they all got a nerf.
-
It's because you made a loud noise.
-
They really ended up nerfing one of the most liked killers only to buff one of the most hated for 2v8.
-
Singularity is getting autoaim restored in a week or two.

I like it too and have since the reveal of the banner but i feel like the tail has kind of ruined for me. Wouldn't the tail be a huge help for the killer when chasing you? I wish you could turn it off.
It's probably a disadvantage for stealthy situations but I don't really care about that, I like the tail too much.

Billy can insta-down, just not from idle. "Expose survivors whilst chainsaw sprinting".
There may not be a need for ten generators, as when the survivor is downed, they are sent to the cage. Meaning killers don't have to waste time dealing with flashlight/pallet saves, or carrying a survivor to a hook. Meaning more time to patrol gens.
No, Billy's teammate can instadown while he's sprinting. He doesn't get instadowns though.
-
It's not out yet.
-
Honestly, I like the new cosmetics. The Yui one especially is really cool.
-
Jailer keeps them occupied for way longer, and has a larger patrol radius. He can potentially get a hit with a max length patrol path.
Basically, use Assassin if you know where they are, Jailer if you need to find them or want to keep them stalled, and Carnifex for breaking pallets.
-
Licensing, probably.
-
In terms of other Knight feedback, please consider making the rest of Map of the Realm basekit, and bring back the "bug" that allowed you to send out another Guard to cancel a patrol path. It just doesn't sit right that a bug that detriments Knight was turned into a feature, while a popular bug that benefits him was removed.

Killer Updates
The Knight - Basekit
- While drawing a patrol path, its length applies a modifier on the base banner spawn time:
1-15 meters: 1x
16-25 meters: 1.5x
26+ meters: 2x - Different Guards now share the same cooldown.
They really snuck that one in without telling anyone in any of the dev updates.

Most new perks just aren't very good. That's a common trend from both sides, so I don't know what you're talking about really.
-
He can still use his guards in a chase, though. At least that was what I gathered from playing him on the PTB.
-
What?
-
Next to zero, which sucks majorly.
-
I don't think Resilience needs an adjustment at the moment. One of it's best pairings, Adrenaline, got nerfed pretty recently.

WA is currently the only Killer aura-reading perk that has no cooldown or a timer.
False:
- A Nurse's Calling

Those Youtube videos mean nothing. There are Youtube videos for every perk saying they are "op" for clickbait. That Hag video is the worst example since aura reading is useless on Hag.
Awakened Awareness would fit in that category too I'm pretty sure.

All those perks have specific conditions to them, and those vastly differ from WA's.
Weave Attunement also has a specific condition, though.
-
Have you considered not running Third Seal and slugging all 4 of them?
-
Overall, I'm honestly not sure. It reduced the variance in her power level quite a bit though. Even just one flashlight against her felt devestating to the point where Franklin's was a must-run.
Like, Survivors have a reliable way to dismantle her web now, but it's slower than it was with a flashlight and can't be done mid-chase. I just wish there was a noise on the Hag's PoV when a trap is wiped away, because currently there's no indicator.
-
I'd say it evens out. He'll play a bit differently but his strength will remain around the same.
-

He's always been able to do this, it's very sadly nothing new, and despite being raised quite literally since he used to have Treatment Mode and Punishment Mode in his kit (as well as passive madness) nothing had ever been done. I guess it's because he's just not very popular so nobody really knows about it?
Treatment Mode grabs were disgusting…
I'm pretty sure you can dodge the shock and then go for an unhook though, right?
-
It's a horror game, of course there's going to be violence.
Honestly, the Moris are relatively tame in comparison to other modern horror media. Minimal blood/no dismemberment (with the exception of Clown, I guess) in most cases.

Why would they tell you? It's forbidden.

Even if it ends up looking half decent, chances are that it's still going to look like something from a mobile game in some way or form.
Idk, the current HUD we have is actually pretty good.

Absolutely loathe that character select screen. No improvement can redeem it, just bring back the old one.
Not gonna happen apparently.
This is pretty much a repeat of when they updated the in-game UI.
They release a new UI, people don't like it, they can't revert for backend reasons and then they improve it like a couple of patches later.
At least that means the customisation UI will probably be made half decent in 1.5-3 months.
-
Just report, make a ticket and move on. That's all you can really do for those kinds of people. Making a ticket is important, I did that and a bunch of previous chat reports I didn't make a ticket for were all actioned all at once.
It sucks that there are some real nasty people out there, but reporting them for doing these kinds of things will make sure they're unable to play the game.
-
Honestly the depletion when being close to a Guard didn't affect chases as much as I thought it would. You just have to back up a bit and zone from a little further away.
I would've like to have seen it reduced a bit, but it'll probably be fine.
-
@Pulsar said:
Name a better combo of BHVR and releasing bad UI updates. I'll wait.
It looks like a bad mobile game.
I swear if the customisation tab is exactly the same as it was on the PTB i'm going to be annoyed.
Apart from that, good changes all round I think.

He excels at a lot if you know how to arc the projectile. The problem is more so getting everyone Weakened since that’s natural slowdown if they want to get rid of it, and that take a while against coordinated survivors. That’s why Vanishing Box is a requirement for him and possibly Captured by the Dark for early game.
Captured by the Dark sucks. The downside is too significant.

That's a shame. Could it be considered to apply to addons, as these kinds of addons are pretty ineffective as it stands?

During the PTB, the lock-on time was increased to 0.8 seconds because of auto-aim, then was reverted back to 0.6 seconds because auto-aim was removed.
In a future update, players will have the option to use auto-aim, which means that auto-aim is being brought back into the game. I'm hoping the 0.8 second lock-on time doesn't get thrown onto players using manual-aim.
I have a feeling they'll just make the time it takes to enter an autoaiming biopod 0.2 seconds.

I can share now that the dev update is out, there's some good news in there for you! The auto aim will be making a return in one of the following minor updates as an optional mechanic. Tapping the button will take control of the pod as usual while holding the button will take control of the pod and aim at the nearest Survivor in view.
We ultimately decided not to force it upon folks who prefered to pre-emptively aim their pods at hotspots, but many other people appreciated the feature, so this'll be the best of both worlds.
More info can be found here:
Nice!

It hasnt been one error it has been multiple people who got faked by cheaters, same for the "small number of reports" on the trickster issiue.. there was a whole youtubers community filing tickets and the person isnt even that big of a streamer to beginn with. But it was just a minor handfull of people filing tickets??? Even though there are screenshots from at least 30 people filing tickets and thats just 1 community…
At least i know basicly nothing has changed from the way you devs handle these things. I bet it will take another 2 months until trickster is fixed, like it took that long to fix knight when he was killswitched. I was paying customer for 4 years and im highly disappointed.
Edit: After reading the response again "user error" so you blame the person that got banned? THEY did something wrong? what exactly?I don't think she's blaming the person who got banned… "user error" in this case would be the support agent that did the incorrect ban.
Also the next update is in like 4 days. That's likely how long it'll take for Trickster to return.
