Im a man of culture, i prefer Roblox.
Either way, play a sandbox game where losing isn't an option.

There is always Alt+F4. Devs can’t force people to remain in matches they no longer find fun. It’s the nature of online gaming. People will just have to accept that fact.
DC punishments wouldn’t t do much anyways. If they punish for too long, DCers would just stop playing, if the punishment is too short, people that are left with a person short will want to stop playing if it keeps happening.
Instead, the Devs need to brainstorm and come up with ways to make it more fun for both sides. They also need to fix the plethora of bugs in the game, and optimize the console versions.
Consoles dont have alt+f4 so taking out the pause leave match option would be optimizing it. And again, there would be other methods to leave, they would just be a lot harder to do and less convenient than just going back to the lobby.

I'm pretty sure all those DCs were legit and you're freaking over nothing.
Don't blame killers (or survivors for this matter), ask devs to add penalties.
Or they could just take out the option to leave, making it slightly more complicated to leave and more inconvenient than pause, press Y.
There are 2 types of coders. Those who think of a way more complicated way and those who find the simplest solution.
On the other hand, we all know if DCs weren't an option. Survivors will just commit suicide and killers....well I guess can hide in a corner or the basement.

When I was reading about doc patch, I was seeing a lot of complaints about cool down of his power..... Where the hell is that? Docs running around constantly doing shocks with giant ass AOE. He pretty much destroys EGC if there is only 1-2 survivors. I even started running calm spirit with my buddy and I noticed there is still a visible notification of a shock. So the lack of scream is pretty much there to prevent ear #########, but doesn't keep you hidden. Great.
Either give the doctor a cool down or shrink his AOE. Atm I'm just going to DC Everytime I see it's the doctor. Like the lery map, I'm already sick of it being back to back to back

Especially as a “baby” killer (who ends up facing survivors well above my level)?
I don’t feel encouraged to play killer tbh. Every game feels like the survivors know they have it in the bag, proceed to play sweaty, and ends with teabagging to the last second of egc.
It is ridiculous how chill and relax it is to play survivor, the prey, and killer feels demoralizing and stressful. I should not feel RELIEVED when a killer match is over, I SHOULD feel excited and devious to play another round of killer - but I don’t.
Seriously, it’s hard out there for a killer.
Just start camping then on hook. According to everyone on the forum it's a viable strategy. Plus the salt you mine is so delicious. Not my job to make sure anyone has fun with this game

I did not say once that he is OP or needs a nerf. I said quite the opposite. I even said what we need to BRING LITERALLY EVERY OTHER KILLER to the level of Hillbilly.
And I said that he has a very low skill floor for such a high reward, and this is a problem.
If it did not come across this way, then i genuinely apologise.
You're technically right that you didn't say he was OP verbatim, however you said "way too strong" "potentially one of the strongest" which is as close as you can get without saying it. I don't even think you know what you are going for anymore in your discussion.
Either way, you are wrong. He is maybe mid tier at best. His only power is making potatoes freak out and run out in front of him. My personal experience has shown hillbilly players rely on this and they don't take a lot of time actually looking for players rather hoping one will just show up as they run around the map.
Again, I'm the survivor you describe yourself as. I grinded to rank 1 only to feel I was wasting valuable play time only to be rewarded with extended lobby times, bad killer host connections and endless sea of tunneling mori's. I too am not the best at jukes and loops and yet hillbilly is probably the first killer I truly learned how to conquer. Him and huntress are the 2 easiest killer powers to avoid.

Nice long rant, did not read 25% of it. You are just flat out wrong. There is nothing wrong with hillbilly and if you think he takes no skill then you clearly never played as hillbilly. I personally don't play him outside of earning his achievements but he is seriously one of the easier killers to play against.

Well maybe it wasnt ruins fault that survivors suck. maybe its just the bad rank system giving every survivor a participation award and giving everyone rank 1. And than this kinda stuff happens....
And the best thing about it??? i got deranked for them rather disconecting than losing to a player playing better than them (both dc'd after i downed em once in about 20 seconds).
You know why they are so entitled ? Because they know that they shouldnt go down that fast against a m1 killer. But i guess u can just dc if you dont have skill lol.
Insted of thinking about why 80% of red ranks use ruin or ds. how about thinking about why clearly bad / new players are in red ranks. So many times when i play killer i see some claudette urban evasion behind a tree while i chase here team mate. And after the match i get blamed for being toxic and not nice even tough they shuld blame ther team mates for playing like rank 15s on rank 1.
tl;dr pls finaly rework the rank system. im sick of playing against or with potatoes that just dc when the match doesnt run the way they want. It also rly sucks for the 2 survivors that didnt dc because they probably had a 10 minute q just for a 1 minute game.
It's really hard to derank as a survivor. When I finally decide to derank cause I despise playing red ranks, I have to run Laurie Chode with her OoO and B-line to the killer and let them kill me. Minus DCing, any other method usually ends up in saving pipps rather losing pipps.
I don't know how many times I've played a really bad game and was genuinely surprised I even pipped, let alone double pip.

All killers who rely on noed say it’s the survivors fault for not doing all totems. This is a fact. Unless you’re on swf, there is no way you can tell how many totems are left or have been done. It’s literally impossible unless you take it upon yourself as a solo player to go around and do 5 totems. What player is going to do that? Seriously, spare me the “it’s survivors fault”. It’s a crutch perk designed to save killers game at last moment if they’ve messed up all match.
I work on totems regardless if I'm in swf or solo. Free bold points...
You can see where totems were if they were already cleanse so no it's not impossible.

That was why it felt so weird to hear it was getting changed. Mixing protective hexes like TOTH and HG made people panic and for get the other totems, which gave NOED some nice protection/distraction. Besides, if you always expect they have it, it won't ever really take you by surprise.
Personally I enjoy the detective hunch buff. Green maps don't track totems without it. No totems slip by on my watch so I never worry about NOED.
Besides NOED is only good for the haste boost like BBQ is only good for the BPS boost <insert troll face here>

The only thing "exciting" is the minor amount of bloodpoints from the challenges. Not to mention the easy 32k from all the farm requests. I won't be buying the pass, the charms are a dinky addition and customs do nothing for me

Did i say anything about you being a toxic piece of trash asking you to explain why you are toxic? No. I just said that it's obvious you are going to run into more toxic survivors than killers because there are way more survivors than killers. So if 10% of survivors are toxic, and 20% of killers are toxic, there are still way more toxic people on the survivor side.
You added a huge piece onto your comment replying to mine when i didn't say anything about it. You want to be toxic, that's fine, nothing can or will be done about it, you aren't breaking any rules of the game.
Since I didn't say you called me that, I'm going to assume this was an attempt at being clever and insulting me.
Also, how is 10% more than 20%? If 20% of killers are toxic and only 10% of survivors are toxic. Then the killer side would be more toxic....

Ruin was dull but boy did it feel far more fair than NOED.
Shame they nerfed Ruin and not NOED. I didn’t mind killers taking Ruin but some people would take both Ruin and NOED, on top tier killers too. At that point skill was being taken out of the equation.
NOED doesn't take out skill from the killer. If survivors choose to gen rush and not cleanse totems that's on them. It's ironic most people ask for more objectives to slow the game down when totems are an objective. That's why NOED works best without other hex totems, it puts survivors in a false sense of security forgetting about totems altogether leaving some for NOED to appear.
Sad thing is, I notice my NOED totem usually activates close to an exit making it easier to find on the way out. I can't count how many times I start cleansing the last totem as a friend is finishing the last gen. I start cleansing a dull and it finishes as a hex. So fulfilling imagining the killer thinking they are about to get one hours only to be let down when they hear the notification.

Billy is one of the easier killers in my opinion. If you have even the slightest distance on him and he charges at you, you just break at 90 degrees or turn a corner. The only time Billy hits me is with his hammer, he was the first killer I truly learned how to counter.
The only killers I truly find annoying is ghostface and doctor. Revealing ghostface is hit or miss. When I want to do it, I can't for some reason and when I don't want to do it, it somehow instantly happens. As for the doctor, I don't like the sound nor do I like that he is able to find you by just walking around (patch changing that here soon).

The toxicity thing is still pointless, because duh, 1 killer to 4 survivors more survivors can be toxic at a time. That doesn't mean that they are. It's like comparing bees to rats. Every rat could be evil and "toxic" (harmful to people) while most bees aren't, just wasps and such, and while there are way more bees, not all of them are aggressive. (Obviously not a perfect comparison, but the idea is that yes, with a larger population, the odds of more toxic people is increased, but without actually knowing the percent of each population being toxic, you can't make assumptions.) Also, if you play toxic, survivors will be more toxic towards you when they successfully beat a toxic player.
It was a bad comparison. My basis is purely from my experiences. It's extremely rare to have the killer message after a game, while I've even received messages from survivors while I hid in the basement as wraith the whole time. I even play as survivor more, so the killer side has had a higher possiblity to be toxic.
To address the playing a face camping killer, it's not about getting toxic feedback from survivors. It's about limiting survivors points earnings. That was my problem to begin with. But since math is to hard to comprehend for people they equate it to something entirely different.
I'll say it again. To counter face camps, survivors stay on objectives and leave. 8k for obj and only 5k for surviving, 0k for altruistic and boldness. Great, a boring game of fix the gens and earning only 13k points. This is my issue.

That part at the end about toxicity is completely wrong. 1 killer being toxic is 1 person, but 1 survivor being toxic is 1 person as well, not 4. If all 4 of them are toxic, then that is 4 seperate people being toxic, it has nothing to do with 4 vs 1. Most teams only have 1 or 2 toxic people on them. If a killer is doing poorly, and they know they can get away with it, some people will start to be more toxic, but all 4 survivors usually don't start toxic. And if you are deranking and facecamping to prove a point, then you are being toxic. Also, survivors will only be "more toxic" because they can. For a survivor, they can teabag and flashlight click to be toxic, but if a killer wants to be toxic, they have to tunnel or camp and basically throw their game away, while survivors can do it mid game, so killers can't be as toxic, without losing.
You are right about majority of the time only 1-2 people out of a group are toxic. And most of the time it's the higher rank ones. But that is still more than one person being toxic at a time. There are never 2 killers at a time being toxic while there can be anywhere from 1 - 4 survivors at a time and I know cause I've been on both sides of a whole swf squad getting angry.
And yea I am, and my point is that facecamping should have a severe BPS penalty. Until then I'm going to enjoy easy, stressless 20k+ BPS (40k+ with BBQ) matches. The new people can either have a ruined match or if they play correctly have a longer grind at leveling up characters by me preventing them from gaining altruistic and boldness points. Essentially capping their matches at half the potential earnings. Either way, "I was proven wrong" (laughs maniacly) that this is legitimate by the (clears throat) "professionals" in the forum.

So we all know that Iron Will hard counters Spirit right?
Well there are the occasions that a survivor doesn't have Iron Will and it's a Spirit.
They can do fine against her until they're injured, they are now a massive pain beacon for her to come kill.
My idea was for there to be a bit more fairness for the injured survivor but not stripping Spirit of too much of her strength.
My idea was to make survivors injured audio omni-directional (Can't discern where they actually are) when she is phasing.
I know what you're thinking. "You're essentially nerfing Spirit", that's not my intention and there's more to it.
After a period of time during her phase, the survivor sounds will become directional again. This idea was to make it so the injured survivor at least has a bigger chance to kind of give the Spirit the slip.
What are your thoughts on this idea? Is it good or bad?
No, it's fine how it is

There's no logic to back your claims up. On the other hand, there is to back mine up. So, there's that. Have a good one, bud.
That wasnt the mean part I was referring too.
And I stand by my previous comments because they weren't because of disagreements rather the sheer fact theu were ignoring my argument altogether. My argument dealt with the math, their response dealt with strats, that's not disagreeing that's disregarding.
Also, you being held up on the first line is just further evidence to the blantent disregard to the whole arguement. I just proved you wrong by admitting to intentionally deranking which is one of OPs arguement.

I always thank the killer that plays nurse. It's either a really easy match cause she is the most difficult to learn or really hard (and scary) cause they played her well.

You've posted this unfounded, silly jargon in another thread now, word for word. So I'll post this here again, because there's more evidence to back my version of it up than yours:
Uhhh..no? It's actually more like red rank killers not existing on the scale that they used to. Cause they aren't playing. Rank, especially on the survivor side, is NOT an indication of skill. It's basically a participation trophy for how easy it is to pip as a survivor.
Besides - if you've ever been to red ranks as killer (and judging by your post you have a long way to go before you get there and understand), especially lately, you'd know there's so many potato survivors at red rank because of how rank reset works now that deranking to face potato survivors is ridiculous.
Good job being mean.
Unfortunately, you're wrong. I depip as killer all the time. I don't want to play against toxic sweaty try hards every match and I don't want to waste 1k hours of my life....let alone 3.5k hours.... To become a sweaty try hard myself. Especially since I'm 10 achievements away from finishing this game.
Lately, another reason I depip is to enhance the face camp problem that this forum refuses to accept and to prove a point. Only response is to call the new players potatoes which probably turns them away from the game, which doesn't help the wait times. I wouldn't want to grind 14k points/match when successfully counter playing a potato strategy.
I believe OP is right that Qs take longer closer you get to red rank as a survivor and as the killer, green ranks put you into red ranks. I think the real problem is the toxicity of this community towards killers. If a killer is toxic towards survivors, it's just one person being toxic. If survivors are toxic to killers, that's 4x more to deal with. And regardless, survivors are more likely to be toxic than killers anyway.
-
Running kindred, BT or DS still doesn't help survivors pip the match or raise the 15k cap.
If I'm not being camped, and only work on gens: I'm still capped at 8k for objective and 5k for survival. The killer holds my points and pips hostage. Doing the right thing in this situation doesn't really reward me. That was my original point, sorry if illiteracy prevents you from understanding.
But because a large portion of this community is.... Well we all know, I'll just feed the killer by going for saves or camp as killer. At least I'll get more points feeding an arse than just avoiding there issue as a survivor. As the killer, I'll just make the problem more extreme, ruining the game for new players in the process.
Most people have lives and don't play like they spent 1k hours playing.

Killers
Proxy camping - staying in the vicinity of the hooked, terror radius can barely be heard by the hooked. Annoying but necessarily toxic. There are situations that call for this.
Basic camping - finding another survivor, maybe hitting them once, but stopping the chase to stay near the hook. Toxic
Face Camping - standing in front of the hooked facing them, like a psychopath would. Extremely toxic.
Unintentional tunneling - haven't found anyone before unhook happens, come back in search of 2 known survivors location, finding the unhooked survivor cause the unhooker is not injured and quite. Not toxic
Intentionally tunneling - in the middle of a Chase, stop to double back across the map where unhook happen (not using make your choice) just to chase the unhooked. Toxic
Intentionally tunneling with ebony Mori - extremely toxic
Survivors
Making it to the pallet in time and stunning the killer. Not toxic
Having a good lead but choosing to wait at a pallet around a corner just to stun. Slightly toxic
Teabagging after a stun - toxic
Waiting for killer to recover from a stun just to blind them - toxic
Following killer clicking flashlight to get the killers attention. Not toxic, just stupid wastes battery and your not contributing to your team.
Messaging killer after match to say your opinion on how or why the killer is bad. Extremely toxic
I'm technically a survivor main, but I've played both. All characters, all adept achievements. In my experience, survivors are the most toxic players, and more likely to be toxic. I hate when killers face camp but lack of skill really can't be blamed or hated on. Survivors will message regardless if killer wins, loses, or even hid in the basement whole match doing nothing and it is just unexcusable and absurd. I am guilty of this last one, but I only do it with campers.

It's so easy I love getting facecamped with kindred equipped, it singlehandedly beats the killer
K well I'll continue to ruin the game for players, you continue to enjoy long wait times and when this games player pool gets so low that you can't join a match anymore. We will all move on to the next game. Fair?
-
@Zixology said:
The biggest problem here is the people who say to "just do gens".
What reason does the camped person have to not just kill themselves? None. They get absolutely nothing out of it.
9 times out of 10, they just kill themselves and I can't blame them, easily leading killers to 3k and 4k games.
Exactly, and what every sweaty player who defends this strategy is missing from my OP is the fact that just doing gens and escaping only gives me 12-15k points anyway. There is no option for altruistic points and only 5 totems for bold points. The killer is essentially capping my points at 50%. That is my problem.
-
Some food for thought, is depipping and staying at low ranks really a punishment? I mean they stay with new survivors who don't know better where this strat works best and keep harvesting an easy 20k+ BPS? While continueing to ruin the game for new players?
If that is the punishment, than wow! Real effective
-
Just face camped to prove my point. They got to last gen and I had already camped through 2 hooks. Some guy was running no mither so he was an easy down. Ended up with 4k despite them doing gens, maybe because I camped the second one in the middle of last three gens and they couldn't do it time.
I got 22k BPS while top survivor only got 14k. How else could they earn BPS if I'm not chasing or letting them unhook? I even pipped up.
So I think I'll do this and ruin the game for others, hmmm hopefully they don't quit playing. Would be difficult to play an online only game with no players to play against.
Ooo yea I'm facecamping with NOED and Rancor too. So EGC is guaranteeing me another hook.

The penalty should be that all Gens get done and he gets away with 1k. And the penalty should include that nobody says anything in Endgame Chat, because this is the reaction they want to trigger.
Even tho, it does obviously not work all the time that everyone is doing Gens, but the ideal solution would be, to just hammer those Gens. Sucks for that guy on the Hook, but nothing can be done.
So the outcome will be minimal Kills and BPs and no Salt in Endgame Chat (like, I got camped by a German Streamer once (really small Streamer, apparently I hurt his feelings at one day), so he camped me with Insidious Billy... Got 5k BP and 1 BBQ Stack out of it, while burning two green Add Ons and a Pudding...If every game with a facecamper would end like that, it would be great, but often enough Killers get a lot of BP and even Kills, because Survivors are way too altruistic).
So I'm stuck with being capped at 15k a game cause the killer doesn't want to play. Wow sounds like a good course of action.

What kind of penalty would you like to see implemented?
Anything besides teleporting or stunning the killer wouldn't change a thing. And if you start teleporting and stunning the killer for unwanted actions...you better design AI killers, who plays "nice".
Right now we got Kindred and BT as well as DS to help against Face camping.
What you personally can do is teaming up with a friend. Alternative check out the forums or discord for a group to play in.
Take blood points away. Make the leveling grind that much harder.

@Fog_King said:
Face camping is really bad, especially when it's your first hook. Of course, the other survivors could just ignore the hooked survivor and fix, for example, but the thing is, a lot of people who had that happen to them want to try to save the hooked person, so they don't just die at the start without having any chance at all, so they wait to see if there is a chance to get the save.
Last night, I was playing with a friend and the killer was Leatherface. He found my friend, downed him and hooked him, then facecamped him. I mean, when you are playing with friends, at least for me, I just can't ignore them on a hook and keep fixing. I managed to distract the killer and make him come for me, so my friend could be saved, but as soon as he was, the killer left me and went for him again. And no, he was not toxic to the killer, he didn't even have time, since he was found at the very start and downed right away.
After he killed my friend, he went to face camp another survivor the exact same way. I just don't see how it is fun for the killer to just sit there and wait for them to die. Maybe they had a daily to get sacrifices with that killer or maybe they just want to ruin people's fun. Either way, I don't see the devs giving real penalties for face camping.
It's really bad when you're trying to get takeone for the team and they just ignore you to tunnel the unhooked cause they suck so bad they have to ensure they get a kill.

Yes. it is so hard to fit the scenario you suggested into the coding of the game which is already fairly complex. Take some time to look up how games are coded and you'll understand.
Face camping sucks if you're the first one it happens to in a game. but its part of the game. Suck it up, shake it off and move on with your life.
I have a degree in EE, I program way more complex systems than video games at work..... Actually, simulators so I know what it takes to run a "game" it wouldn't be too different than how AOE perks work already. Nice try though

Keep reading the post I did 3 by myself, I also wasn't running with a tool box and I missed a few short skill checks that moved to the corners of my screen, I also only ran to the hook once at the beginning and when I saw him making out with the survivor I left.

Camping is absolutely a legitimate strategy. It's also only viable because survivors allow it to be viable. Yes, you read that right. Only survivors can be blamed for camping killers, cause they are the ones who allow it to work.
Sounds like a baby killer, play more before.... Play better more before you talk legit strategy.
FYI you probably thinking hiding in the corner with a shotgun in FPS is also legit.

Legit strat imo there's many ways altruistic survivors can get the guy off the hook including that 1 perk that gives em a extra hit if the killer wants to camp 1 guy he can suffer as more gens get repaired if anything add 1 more Gen or onli a 2 hook game over ;)
Nice attempt to troll but no go. Especially when they can pull you off when unhooking. Plus running solo q, so not bringing "that one perk" for randos.

So if all gens are done and you have 2 gates open what should you do else as killer? Go to the corner of the map and wait for the unhook? In this situation you are kinda forced to facecamp because you have legit nothing else to do...
Why don't you reread the post instead of defend your choice of crappy strategy.
FIRST HOOK OF THE MATCH, NO GENS DONE.

If all he did is face camp he depipped himself.
I barely saved pipped and I did 3 gens and 3 totems. There was no room for heals, unhooks or chases. You're clearly not a good reader.
My problem is my game was limited because there was no opportunity to do anything else, plus this being camped really got screwed.

NOED has a haste effect? I actually forget about that all the time because the OHKO is so overpowering when it has a chance to proc. It's rare for me to see NOED though tbh, I cleanse every totem I come across so if it actually procs, it's a legit surprise to me.
But with BBQ, I dunno. I actually do run it for the BP boost because I always forget to glance around and look for auras. Lol. I don't have it on many Killers though, I keep prestiging them, so I'm not used to it at all. I also main Hag, and BBQ is a complete waste on her in my eyes unless you are using it for the BP bonus.
No, I don't think the comparison is that extreme to be fair. It's like Devour Hope has a Haste effect at 1 or 2 stacks when the person is unhooked (can never remember which), but no one ever talks about that. They're always about the OHKO and/or Mori. I use it a lot myself, and never even consider how that could help me in situations.
I think with BBQ you need both effects though for it to work as intended, as a reward for not camping/patrolling but for engaging the Survivors away from the hook. It has the aura read to draw a Killer away from the hooked person, then the bonus BP to reward the Killer for hooking everyone (at tier 3) making them actually want to move off the hook and engage. If you split those up into 2 Perks, it loses a lot of it's effectiveness as an anti-camping Perk unless the developers come up with something to reward Killers for not camping.
Otherwise, what's the point of not Camping and securing that kill? If you move off the hook and end up with 4 escapes rather than 2-4k, you will lose out on emblems and BP. With BBQ I think it's the best of both worlds, because you can at least be satisfied with the extra BP if you get outplayed and end up with a 0k.
They could penalize face camping. Just made a post about that. I was solo survivor, usually swf, and I did 60% of gens and totems but still got wrecked from NOED. 3 died and noone earned more points than the killer who face camped first hook of the game until death. I didn't get a chance for altruism or boldness points as I was the forest downed by NOED.
I get what your saying but they can still get the boost even if they camp the hooked survivor. They only need the first hook for the boost. Face camp until death and have an easier 3v1 match. 25k still turns to 50k while survs are left below 20k even if they played smart.

Honestly? I don't think an aura read with WGLF would be that bad of a thing.
Since they changed it to safe unhooks, maybe give it a 2/3/4 second aura read on the Killer if they are within 32 meters of the Survivor. Not sure how this would work with taking a protection hit though, since the unhook part requires a safe. It could work out for either scoring event though.
The only problem with this is I dislike the number of aura reading Perks Survivors already have right now. It's a personal thing, but imo Survivors shouldn't have access to aura reads without a SERIOUS drawback. As an example, OoO lets the Killer know where you are at too. I really feel that the uncertainty of knowing exactly where the Killer is at is one of the few tension builders in the game right now.
Biased? Yeah, probably. It's just that aura reads for Survivors are extremely powerful since they can then communicate it immediately to their teammates. As a Killer, they simply help you find someone's general area. There's a lot of hiding places on maps, LoS blockers Survivors can use to their advantage, and Perks that will assist you. There's no Killer side Perk comparable to Discordance. The only one I would consider close is Third Seal, and that's a Hex which puts it in the realm of RNGesus as to whether it lasts all match (like Discordance) or if it's blown up in the first minute.
An aura read could be balanced into WGLF, but maybe it should buff another area of Survivor gameplay instead. Increased self-healing speed (medkit and Perk), maybe a small speed boost like say 2/4/6% for a couple seconds when it procs (add this to the regular bonus for taking a hit if you score a protection hit to proc WGLF), your next skillcheck is auto-great, or pick something else that gives a nice tweak but isn't too overbearing.
I do have to say though, that if you split that Perk into two separate ones, you are effectively nerfing its usefulness as an anti-camping tool. No one is going to give up two Perk slots at high ranks for this and you'll end up with a lot more camping and/or hard patrolling to offset the loss of the aura read for those who choose the BP side of things.
You know I like you, you seem to actually put thought into other people's words and your own. I agree with you that Aura reading for survivors is a bit much especially when you add swf into the mix. Plus the tension/adrenaline rush is what got me addicted to this game in the first place.
Consider this though. I thought of the best example to fully represent my complaint. I like NOED, I run it with my killers and I destroy it with detectives hunch/small game. But what if the killer claimed they only used it for the haste? I know the comparison is a bit extreme but imo it's basically the same thing. You don't just use NOED for the haste and you don't just use BBQ for the BPS; they're icing to the cake.

Lol wow 2 more sardines who can't read.
How can BBQ get nerfed if it's not OP? and I didn't say anything about changing the Aura part at all.
And I complained about killers using a SCAPEGOAT like "I only use it for BPS boost" when in fact you see them scan the whole map after hooking.
I don't care that they get a 4 second Aura reading. Make it longer once the boost is gone for all I care, cause people still camp with BBQ on and those people I believe when they say I use it just for the boost.
How about all survivors get to see the killers Aura for 4 seconds when unhooking with WGLF? It won't be OP right?

I wouldn't mind seeing a buff to WGLF, but I run it all the time anyways. The change to Safe Unhooks now gives it a little more room to maybe get a buff in some fashion.
I wouldn't change BBQ though. The aura read is good, it really does give Killers a reason to not "secure the kill", but without the BP bonus, I doubt many people would run it. It doesn't help the low mobility Killers very much, especially on the larger maps other than giving them a "rough" direction to head in after a hook.
How many people actually run Iron Maiden though? I've tried it a few times, but it seems so situational that you're better off with something that'll give you more power over the course of the entire game. Legion is weak AF to begin with btw. He's more of a meme than a Killer imo.
You don't need to block BBQ to prevent it catching you out though. Just move randomly, or in a fashion that throws the Killer off. Much more difficult against a Billy or similar with fast map travel abilities, but instead of just running around like mad, walk so you aren't throwing scratch marks everywhere and they'll probably move right on by you. Hiding is always an option, just have to count off the seconds on that aura read.
Like last time I posted this, you seem to be held up on thinking I hate the Aura part of BBQ. Like you said not ever killer really benefits from it, i.e. the less mobile killers and I would agree. The part that frustrates me is the killers that do benefit from it, you call them out like "let's see you do that without BBQ" only for them to say "I only use it for the BPS". Like no you don't you hillbilly/legion/Freddy and even a good artillery like huntress.
I want you to be right in the fact that "noone would use it" if the BPS were moved. Then I could believe the killers that say they use it. The same way I'm using WGLF as a comparison to why it should be moved. Although I highly doubt even 50% of the killers that use it would stop.
As for legion being the weakest killer, I disagree. I've played through all the killers and I thought legion was fun. Plus, if he was the weakest I don't think I would run into him as much. His power disrupts survs, finds other survs and makes him the second fastest killer (after hillbilly) while preventing pallet blocks. If you take skill away from the equation (can't emphasize that enough).
Weakest killers would be nurse, clown, trapper and demogorgon. I know nurse can be played very god like but she has the highest skill curve of the game which is why she is the least seen killer in my experience (I truly get excited when I see it's a nurse, either extremely easy or very scary no in between). The rest, I don't see that often either in higher ranks. The trapper is very common in low ranks, and usually his traps are very easy to dodge especially since small game helps find them hexs.
Again, I mainly think the BPS boost perks should be even for survs and killers, so either give WGLF something similar survs can use to say "I just use it for the BPS boost" or take that cop out excuse away from the BBQ+Hex ruin killers that make this gamer stale. And no I don't think hex ruin was ever OP.
