Pretty much majority of people are opting for speed killers. Why struggle with M1 killer v fast gen speeds? Harder tunneling gets hit, more people will be abandoning M1 killers as they slowly become relics of the past.
As long as I continue to get 3/4k regularly I intend to continue with Myers 😁 can't beat the tombstone.

While it was intended to help it only makes things so much worse. They made the conditions too lenient so now people want to be able to abandon for any reason instead of proposing ideas to fix the problem.
the main thing I’ve seen is exit gate T-bagging which I also did complain about however abandoning is not the solution. It doesn’t do anything to fix the problem it just allows you to give up. The survivors will still T-bag and the survivors can just wait outside the gate or hang out outside the range and go into the gate when they hear the terror radius.
the devs gave a easy out button and now that has become the solution. If you can leave because your slugged people will want to get an easy out for other reasons on both sides.
they should’ve taken other actions to resolve slugging like being able to pick yourself up or have the EDC timer speed up when the survivors are at the gate or if they don’t leave have the entity block the gate for so long.
making solutions that actually counter the problem will make the game better and stop those actions from happening in the first place. Allowing people to Abandon is a band-aid that won’t fix anything and doesn’t fix the problem.100% agree. Abandon was designed so survivors didn't have to spend 4min on the floor being humped by a toxic killer. Which is fair enough. But it's being used beyond it's intent, such as abandon when there is only 1 survivor remain and they get downed, killer can't even hook them before they abandon and walk away with a draw instead of a loss. Or survivors abandoning even though they have unbreakable equipped. Plenty of matches last 2 survivors have been on hooks, they DC and the bots free themselves and continue the match. Just an easy way out and the draw gives even more incentive to abandon first chance they get.
Killer option to abandon was supposed to help against people hiding avoiding gens, give killers a way out. But that was used as a win condition for 3 gening. Then it was confirmed that it's a loss for the killer which further incentives survivors to hide for 10min. The whole abandon feature is a flop and needs to be reworked or scrapped entirely

You managed to predict that Kaneki, a killer that has the most absurd auto-aim I've ever seen in a game, and Chucky's OG scamper, would get more nerfs? That's some Mystic Meg levels of insight you've got there.
Mystic meg 😂 been years since I heard that name

And survivors will still complain about tunneling, I guarantee it

Added new killer abandon scenario? Hasn't the 10min abandon scenario been around for a while?

I agree with most of this. Croatia Prenn Chapel is definitely not “balanced though”. As @Daniel_Silva04 said, one of the strongest main buildings in the game and the jungle gym next to shack. That’s definitely at least slightly survivor-sided, if not very survivor-sided.
Hawkins needs to just go away (again). Miserable map for killers and survivors alike.
Hey leave my Hawkins be lol it's one of the only maps that makes scratch mirror viable. I get way more positive feedback from my scratch mirror matches on Hawkins compared to tombstone build on any other map. Lots of people enjoy the match and say I almost give heart attack with jump scares, that's fun.

This. You can band aid chase the symptoms, but the root cause is still there.
I've said before that they're doing this part backwards: anti camp, anti tunnel, and anti slug need to be first. These are the primary reasons many people are going next. These are the "I don't get to play the game" mechanics that cause people to consider a game hopeless early.
Sure, there are other reasons, like pettiness. But people haven't become more petty over time. The main reason we've seen an increase in giving up is balance reasons. And addressing some of those balance problems will help alleviate some of the core issue that causes this behavior.
I don't believe there's a single solution that completely solves the issue, but I don't believe that punish them all ignores literally any of the core reasons people feel that games are hopeless.
(Although, I do personally find it ironic, that many of the same people who push for punish them all are the same ones who defend these tactics. "Incentivize hooks", "if you just buffed regression this wouldn't happen", and other things that are demonstrably false or have already been tried and absolutely backfired. Yet if you try to say "hey, let's give survivors literally anything to make the game not completely hopeless in the first 90 seconds" you get nothing but spewed vitriol in response.)
I think of things as I'm playing the side in question and as survivor I don't need anti tunnel, anti slug or whatever tactics nerfed to make it not hopeless because I know as survivor these tactics don't make the match hopeless. They can and have been countered. From my point of view, what does make the match hopeless is when entitled team mates decide they don't want to play on the map it randomly gave, or they don't like playing against a certain killer because they don't have the skill to loop them very well they go next and leave the rest of us handle the match at a disadvantage.
in my experience people play the game knowing it's random but don't like it when the randomness doesn't give them what they want. The only exception to this I noticed was when ghoul was released. There was no random factor it was ghoul after ghoul, I went 2 days of playing survivor against nothing but ghoul before I just stopped playing survivor. others keep playing it but go next every time.
It's a roll of a dice, people want a 6. They roll, get 4, go next, reroll... Get a 3, go next, reroll. Put in simple terms.

This is what i said, but nobody sees the bigger picture. Forcing people to do things is hardly the answer, and instead they should look into WHY people are wanting to leave. It's 100% a balance issue, but nobody wants to admit it due to their allegiance for their side.
I don't think it's a side thing, as I said I'm likely to play survivor more if people didn't DC or go next. Still not sure why people go next over little things like being chased or hooked first. Sometimes the killer just needs to look at them and they DC regardless of what killer it is. They want to be able to have the match they want, killer they want, map they want, gameplay they want. That's not what the game is by its nature.
People DC when I'm myers because they want to be chased but Myers doesn't chase, he stalks. He's different to go against than nurse or huntress. Do we really give survivors what they want and make all killers the same so survivors always get the chase they want? No, it's random what killer people go against and they should role with it not keep going next until they get what they want. If they go next often enough they should just admit they don't want to play the game and just not play.

This entire thread is what's wrong. The symptom is disconnecting, but what is the root cause? That's where the discussion should be. No game mechanic in the world can force people to play when they don't want to play. The real issue is the devs aren't trying to figure out WHY this happens! And it doesn't help when the community is determined to find ways to compel people to stay when they clearly don't want to. Make a survey on Survivor disconnects and find out why people do it. That's where you really begin to address the issue, not implementing ways to keep people in a trial they don't want to be in.
In my experience the root cause is people that don't get what they want. They want a specific map or a specific killer or don't want to be caught first. These petty reasons are what make many people DC and go next. People have gone next in a match against trapper. Why? They simply don't want to play against crapper (that's not a typo, he's genuinely that bad of a killer lol).
How would anyone solve these issues other than giving people what they want, like a killer section so they can hand pick what killer they go against?
If they don't want to stay, fine leave but keep leaving and at some point they must start to realise they just simply don't want to play the game. So don't play

I have 3 issues regarding map related offerings:
1. The survivor counterpart equals the killer counterpart, despite the killer only having access to 1 offering.
2. The offering not being returned if a sac ward is used (which, you may be like its an offering, you lose it, but considering some builds like T1 Myers HEAVILY rely on maps, having the survivors use a sac ward and then bring 3 hook distance offerings is frustrating)
3. they are green rarity, meaning that any individual green slot is rarer than any purple or iri individual slot. You will, as a killer, encounter more ebony mori's in your bloodweb than Midwich offerings, because every single map added will reduce the chance of any specific green appearing in your slot.Ye the rarity doesn't up, during blood mood event I put everything on Myers. Being p100 I have infinite level 50 web... I literally spent millions and millions of BP on it throughout the event. I prioritised tombstone pieces and RPD (and others) Went from 1 tombstone piece (purple) to about 800 I think. I went from 0 RPD map offerings to about 60. How does that make sense? Clearly RPD is vastly more rare from the amount it came up in the web.

Well, they must first remove the "go next" to properly assess the "weight" of those issues, which will then be shown in player count
If it's actually as big problem as some claims to be, it would be addressed with no question
True, imo they player count dropping would be a good thing. I mean do we cater to hackers and cheaters to keep the player count up? Get rid of the go nexters and let the rest of us play normally, if there wasn't so much go next I would probably play survivor more. Even if q times increase it's no different to now. while I can get matches almost instantly as survivor, the go next thing means I need to q up multiple times to get a match that doesn't have someone going next.
-
I'm all for the anti go next, can't wait for it to be honest. But I do wonder what people will do. Will they just sit in the corner all match doing nothing because they know they can't go next? (Anti hiding might prevent that tho). Will they actually try to play the match? Will they take the DC penalty? I mean even when I tombstone first survivor like 2min into the match, I've had crazy amount of people just DC mid mori. Why? They rather take the penalty than sit through a few seconds of a mori, so wouldn't they do the same with matches they don't want to play?
I think maybe if the 4% was removed killers wouldn't slug the 3rd survivor to prevent hatch... I know if I'm playing killer and I want the 4k I'm not going to chance them killing themselves faster than I can find the last player.
Interestingly as survivor I have had so many complaints from my team because I was 3rd survivor on hook, first hook state and the last survivor complains I didn't kill myself to give them hatch. Hell no, I'm hooked I want saving. Don't save me? Your choice... Hope you can stay alive on your own longer than it takes my hook timer to run out. It's almost expected that 3rd survivor just ends their match by killing themselves to give last the hatch.
It will be interesting to see the anti go next tho, how it will be implemented, what the conditions will be, the consequences, what impact it will have if any on the wider gameplay.

I don't understand why killers are mad over surviviors leaving for mori.
You won, we get it. Watch the mori alone.
My guess would be the same reason survivors don't want the killer to leave penalty free when all survivors are at the gate? Same situation applies, "you won, I get it, just escape and get it over with"

Gonna be honest man, I haven't seen any evidence to suggest anyone on the survivor side is intentionally aiming for a stall out victory
I definitely have, many times as killer I come across it. It used to hide for hatch but since abandon is around the amount of hiders has dramatically increased in my matches. Reason for the increase? People are starting to understand that they no longer need to hide for potentially 1 hour waiting for the other player to die so last can get hatch, now they just need to hide for 10min and there is a chance killer will abandon giving both survivors a way to avoid getting a loss while killer takes the loss. More incentive, more people are doing it, in my matches anyway. Others have said the same, others have openly said they will hide more.

IDK, you're the resident expert on bannable offenses from killer gameplay 🧟
All joking aside, the point is not what is technically punishable by means of a ban. The point is what makes for interesting gameplay for all sides. In fact I think the fact that infinite hiding is bannable strengthens my point - why are you getting upset at a "stall out win condition" that doesn't actually exist, right after defending and advocating for a real "stall out win condition?"
😂 I'm not upset about anything, I'm just saying the difference between the 2 scenarios.
Scenario 1. Killers used abandon feature to get free wins by using a tactic which to my knowledge that isn't banable and even has a hard counter via the basekit kick limit (3 gen).
Scenario 2. Survivors use abandon as justification and incentive to commit a banable offence (hiding avoid gens trying to grief the killer into DC).
Both sides use abandon feature beyond its original intent causing unfun and unfair game mechanics. But 1 side is using it to commit a banable offense while the other didn't.
I have to be careful what I say here but for players that play both killer and survivor... They could and did use the abandon feature to their benefit as killer..they can, will and do use the fact the killer gets a loss if the killer can be pushed to abandon via hiding as survivor.
-
Fair enough, my guess is the anti go next that's due would probably ban people from going next so the only option would be DC and take the penalty until you can't play anymore. Bhvr can fill lobbies with bots instead lol.

You need people to play against don't you? Why is that even a response to people's complaints about the game. "Dont play it if you don't like it". Hollywood tried doing that with there movies and what happens there. People stop using the product if you don't listen to them.
Evidently no, killers don't need people to play with them. Based on the amount of people that DC and abandon even when they can recover themselves there's bots in almost every match these days. Might as well just play with bots at this point.

I'm really confused by this thread.
I'm seeing a bunch of people in here saying that survivors choosing to hide and not do gens is an automatic win button for survivor, despite the fact that it requires the killer, not the survivors, to choose to press the resign button - and if they don't, than the survivors lose out on more time and lose the game.
However, I saw those same people defending the strategy of holding a 3 gen for 10 minutes and then pressing the "resign" button as a fair win condition for the killer.
What changed in the last week that caused so many people to realize that intentionally stalling out the game isn't a fun win condition?
Now, I agree that stalling out the game isn't a good win con for a game like DBD. I personally have never seen a team of survivors go for a stall-out victory, so it's hard for me to imagine that happening, but a bunch of other people insist it's a real threat, so who am I to judge. In any case, if I recall correctly, the devs have said they're hoping to rework idle crows so they're more likely to spawn on people who aren't doing anything useful. Hopefully that'll help combat the threat of survivors spawning in and refusing to do gens that a bunch of people have promised is totally real.
We all agree that hiding avoiding gens is a banable offence. Is it banable for holding 3 gens?

It feels like whenever I have a match that doesn't go well I have to wait for a few minutes after they open the gate for them to leave. It's just a waste of time for everyone and I know even if I go there I'm not going to get anything. Maybe have a decreased collapse time so they have to leave sooner. I don't want to just wait around so they can wait and talk bag as soon as I come within eyesight.
You mean like survivors have the just leave ability when 1 survivor remains and is down? They abandon to skip the mori or being hooked. This is being debated a fair bit in another thread lol

but even if we ignore that, id kill my wallet if i had to buy all killers i struggle against (cuz it would be all of them lol!) but yeah some are worse than others. Huntress is a free win vs me. so i usually dc vs her if she isn't a noob.
fair enough with playing all killers but killers like huntress isn't licensed, can unlock her with shards so concentrating on the killers you struggle most with that can be unlocked via shards might be a good start. But if you don't like killing survivors then your putting up your own obstacles and blocks from getting better and it's on you. The tools are available to you to increase skill if you choose to use them, your choice of you don't make use of them. Kinda like refusing to use pallets as survivor then complaining killers are op... 🤷♂️ Use what's available to you

Where we still differ is on what the feature should be used for, regardless of how it might currently be exploited. If survivors are using abandon to skip moris or the final hook, I completely agree that’s not its intended purpose (draw), and it should be reworked to prevent that (loss). But that’s not the same as saying the feature itself is broken. It’s being misused, and misuse should be addressed by tightening the system, not by expanding it.
Abandon was created for downtime, slugged out matches, stalemates, endless crawling. Those are clear, functional issues.
If survivors and killers both start asking for skip buttons because they’re bored or annoyed with short moments of the match, then we’re on a path toward skipping more and more of the game just because parts are inconvenient. And that’s where I draw the line, not because one side “deserves” it more, but because neither case actually demands a mechanical solution. If we want to stop abuse, close loopholes, or tighten design, I’m all for it. But parity for the sake of parity? That’s not the same thing.
Theres no way for a survivor to tell if the person who is slugging will finish the match. History shows us they dont want to (why the mechanic now exists) and again its a team wide mechanic "waiting 15 seconds" is not something we really witness at all outside of the one person. The other people have been waiting hooked/on the ground for a minute or more.
And if its 3 people dead and 1 person slugged on the ground infront of you the comparison for the exit gate is even weaker, as its 100% without a doubt over. The exit gate is not. That's why I suggested a short delay in abandon being an option. Maybe 20 seconds? Its a small timeframe for killers to get the hook or Mori if it's the last survivor and allows survivors to abandon when slugged for a prolonged period. It solves the issue of down time against toxic killers while not providing survivors with an unnecessary skip at the end. because like you say allowing people to skip the short end of the match sets a precedent, if survivors have it then killers will want it. Like you said solve the problems not cater to people wanting to skip out of boredom or impatience. I think abandon she be tweaked so it prevents 4min bleed out but I don't think it should be used as a skip button at the very end of the match. The last part of the match is not and never has been an issue so I see no reason why we should start giving the skip.
At the moment there has been several cases of last 2 survivors hiding hoping killer abandons after 10min (that's a separate issue) but they hide together and when found together they go down together, both abandon together. There is no slugging or toxic gameplay from the killer, just down, hook both. They haven't spent any time being slugged. So it's not just the last survivor that's using abandon as a skip button, it's the last 2 survivors doing it.
I do have a feeling something will be done because a few people have mentioned that abandon basically makes it an incomplete match, not really sure how that effects stats or kill rates because as far as I'm aware stats don't take into account DC or incomplete matches. If everyone is abandoning make it a non match every time last person is downed that's a lot of matches that are being disregarded in the statistics.

I think there’s still a misunderstanding about the distinction I’m trying to make.
Yes, if survivors are abusing abandon to skip moris, a mechanic designed to avoid downtime, then that’s a misuse of the system, and that specific use should be reworked (e.g. by making it a loss). That would return abandon to its original or intended purpose.
But giving killers the ability to abandon at the exit gate isn’t the same kind of misuse. It’s not about ending a solved or stuck game state, it’s about skipping the final seconds because it’s emotionally unsatisfying. That’s not QoL, that’s preference. And when we start designing for preferences instead of problems, we risk turning the game into a pile of escape hatches for when someone doesn’t feel like finishing the match. That’s the slippery slope.
You say it’s harmless, I’d say it’s precedent-setting. If the reasoning is "well they get to skip something annoying, so we should too," that’s emotional symmetry, not design necessity.
Your last point: no, I don’t t-bag, Im neither good enough for it, nor really care for that interaction. I bag greet my teammates at the start of the match and its hilarious but thats where that starts and stops. Conversely on killer, I dont care if I get bagged at any point. And have got kills at the exit gates from overly cocky survivors. Its probably the most satisfying thing to do in the game.
I’d actually be fine with survivors who abandon moris getting a loss. That’s still consistent with my argument, don’t use abandon to dodge designed mechanics. But that doesn’t justify giving every side a 'skip' button when the situation doesn’t involve downtime or a broken game state. That’s where we differ. And I’m trying to stay constructive too, even when we disagree. I’m not dismissing your intent, just challenging the design logic behind the suggestion.
I think this is where we are getting thrown off. You say abandon was designed to avoid down time so making it a loss would return it to its original intented purpose. I disagree with that. The design of the abandon was to prevent 4min slug, an escape from being tormented for 4min by toxic killers. I don't believe the intent of the abandon was ever supposed to be so survivors could abandon instantly avoiding the hook or Mori animation. This is why I believe survivors are abusing it, they are taking this escape from toxic killer gameplay which is justified and applying it to regular gameplay which isn't necessary.
In all the years this game has been around I have never once heard anyone complain about the amount of time it takes to get picked up and sacrificed. Never heard any complaints about the last 15sec of the match. At most people have complained about the amount of time they have been slugged on the floor while killer waits for everyone on hooks to be sacrificed so they can then mori because that does take more time. Now this abandon has accidentally given survivors a way to skip those 15sec at the end it's become a big thing that they should have it.

It’s not about harm, it’s about design consistency and purpose.
Survivor abandon exists to prevent downtime from a solved game state, like everyone slugged or hooked. That’s measurable and practical. Wanting to abandon at the gate as killer because “it’s over anyway” isn’t the same, it’s not downtime, it’s impatience or frustration. That’s the key difference.
Just because something doesn’t “hurt” the other side doesn’t mean it should be added. That’s how we get bloated or reactionary mechanics. Design should solve real gameplay problems, not feelings of “fairness” based on surface symmetry. 1 for 1 changes dont need to happen its okay if one side gets something and the other does not.
If survivors were abusing abandon to dodge moris, then sure, rework that (like I said: make it a loss). But creating a matching abandon for killers just to balance emotions doesn’t solve anything, it just opens more loopholes.
“Both sides get a button” isn’t good balance, solving the actual gameplay problem is.
The little quip you have at the end saying I have no real argument was unnecessarily dismissive, lets keep this constructive please. But what I don't understand is you acknowledge the fact that abandon was designed to prevent 4mim bleed out and acknowledge that if survivors are abusing this system by dodging moris because they are impatient then a rework is in order, but instead of reworking it so the abandon feature does only what it's designed to do (prevent 4min bleed outs), you suggest a rework thats designed to dodge moris intentionally by making it a loss. If making it so the abuse of abandon is no longer abusing it thats fine, but I think the same should be offered to killers imo.
I would like to keep it constructive but I don't see how it's constructive to give arguments that have no validity. Sorry but anything in the last 15 sec of the match that has no impact on the opposing side shouldn't be dismissed on the basis you provide. I offer QoL suggestions that would apply to both sides that wouldn't impact the other side in any way but you dismiss the very concept of it for killer for no good reason at all. I would love to understand your logic but I honestly can't see it. The only way it makes sense is if you yourself t bag at the gates. I could at least understand your motives for wanting to keep that. But if you don't then I'm truly at a loss as to why you would be so opposed to something that wouldn't effect you

It’s not about “ruining” anything for survivors at the gate, it’s about not building systems around ego.
Abandon is meant to prevent downtime, not spare people from moments they find annoying or embarrassing. If survivors start abusing it for that, it’s fair to rework (make it a loss), not create a mirrored system just to make things “even” emotionally.
We shouldn’t design mechanics because someone felt taunted. The game needs fewer loopholes and excuses to disengage, not more.
So you agree there is no negative impact for the survivors at the gate, no harm in it. As survivor if I'm at the gate and the killer abandons, I'm fine with it. Why? Because I don't taunt the killer and if they abandon it makes no difference to me.
As already discussed the abandon was designed to prevent 4min bleed outs, it was not intended to skip the last Mori or hook time. That is a feature that was unintended as a mechanic which currently survivors are using to spare them the few seconds of Mori which they find annoying. Making it a loss says you want this unintended mechanic to remain but as an intended mechanic instead but not offer the same for the killer. it's very strange to want this for survivor which doesn't effect the killer at all and not want it for killer which doesn't effect survivors at all. Certainly isn't showing fairness, balance or equality.
I think we might have to agree to disagree too because there is nothing that would convince me that allowing 1 thing for 1 side is ok but not the other side, especially when it makes no difference to the opposite side. If your only argument for denying killers the same as survivors is "you only want it because they have it" then I don't think you have any real argument.

Yea I mean if they are inches away just hit them out. Theres no implementation of any system that needs to happen for that fact to not be true.
So far the only arguments made, is peoples feelings being hurt at the end of the match.
Which okay lets continue with taunting. You haven't actually said what difference it makes to the survivors that are at the gate, what negative impact would it have for the survivor that is sitting at the gate? is it that they should be allowed to t bag? Because the only thing you have said to justify not allowing killers to abandon is that they can somehow get a kill and that the match isn't over even though it is over without the use of perks or a specific power.
Allowed to t bag happens at any point in the match. Why is it such a bother at the end?
Same with pointing
Or beckoning.
You dont need specific perks or a power thats just one example of it working. You could do it from many stances, some that are a combination of survivor cockyness and killer outplay.
It seems that many in here just want systems as a tit for tat sort of reason. Which I disagree with entirely. You dont have to make changes to one side, just because the other side got a change.Again, what negative impact would it have on the survivors at the gate? Would it ruin the match in some way? Would it cause them to lose?

… Won't this like totally skew any future stats on kill/escape rates? Since none of the matches are considered completed and arguably the vast majority of survs DCs to skip the finisher Mori?
Another thing the Devs need to clear up, I'm not sure if I'm more shocked at the current state of the abandon system or more shocked that the Devs have not explained anything about it. Simply "abandon to leave match penalty free" doesn't explain anything.

In the beginning
didn't ask for having survivor to witness the Mori but for killer having the same option to avoid potential toxicity.
@Prometheus1092 original stance was that it was broken, and being misused; as its considered a tie and not a loss with the feature, they even said they would fully be behind everything if the change was made for it to be a loss.
Which I agreed it should be counted as a loss.
The abandon mechanic though, was not implemented to battle toxicity/bming. It was to get people from the match that is over to their next match.
Survivors at the exit gates is not a match that is over. It's fascinating, seeing you defend survivor exclusivity for built-in toxicity avoiding mechanics.
Lets make sure we dont gaslight/misrepresent what other people say here. I never defended bming or toxicity in this game.
Also A) this isn't that hard to implement, just a series of true/false checks and B) the abandoning mechanic would be for people that DON'T WANT to try to get the pity kill. Again, not the original intention of neither this thread nor Prometheus.
Actually it is. Just because any of these things are false, which would be far more than what I listed, doesnt mean you cant get a kill at the exit gate.
So it would be silly to attempt to create a bunch of "true/false checks" when that would number in the hundreds. Its not just perks/killer power/addons its also decisions/positioning/reactions; you cant create "true/false checks" for any of that.
If you dont want to try to get a kill, even when there is a chance, thats killer choice. Thats called agency, but you dont need an abandon feature for refusing to go hit someone out of the exit gates.
You can just go hit someone out of the exit gate. If you dont want to hit someone out of the exit gate, wait there. The only person stopping the game from ending is you at that point.
Which is nothing like the abandon feature for incapacitated survivors. They dont have a choice on what happens. Its up to the killer.https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3921227#Comment_3921227
I feel like we are just going in circles at this point, and its best just to agree to disagree I have already stated why I wouldnt want this feature for killers and open exit gates. Especially when its just reactionary to your original problem of the mechanic being a tie and not a loss.
Just ask for the current survivor abandon to be considered a loss and I am with you 100%.My point is that it is a broken system and people seem to want to keep the system as it is and not offer the same to killer. For the sake of compromise I personally am ok with survivors abandoning during a Mori if it counts as a loss 🤷♂️ makes no difference to me, I get the kill, the survivor gets the loss. But likewise I can understand why killers might want the same thing, the option to abandon, lose and save time. It makes no difference to the survivors that are at the gate t bagging. Fact is if all survivors are at the gate, inches away from exiting then saying "just hit them out" is like me saying to a survivor "just watch the mori" and no the killer can't get a kill without specific perks or powers because the second the killer hits them they are out the gate.

That would just incentivize bming then, and its again very single person centric. Why are 1-3 other people (who dont have revive perks) supposed to sit there through slug, and recover, because the person that went down has unbreakable?
How would the game distinguish boon expo? Would noone be allowed to abandon at all? Even if they are across the map from it?
You are mistaken from plot twist. The idea was that they didnt want people doing it just to get out of the match. Thats circumventing the games mechanics. People would beable to load into matches and slug themselves if they didnt like the killer/map if this wasnt implemented.
So for the killer side, the game would have to distinguish… if they arent weskers power…. the killer doesnt down someone before they are able to pick up in the exit gate… they dont have blood warden…. they dont have slingers power…. they dont have Knights Guard hunt add-on… they dont have draculas add-on….
Like how many rules are we coming up for this situation to justify its abandon feature here????
This is a silly idea no, push them out.
Its not a double standard as its just a ridiculous suggestion. They are not equivalent. It does show that you want the ability to skip 15sec of mori as survivor, want ability to t bag at the gate, ability to abandon willy nilly even though you can get recover, ability to abandon when downed regardless of the situation it seems but don't want anything for the killer. But the fact you can see how ridiculous the suggestion is on the killer side at least means it's a step closer to one day realising how ridiculous it is that survivors currently have this. As @Neaxolotl points out, not sure what the motivation for not wanting the same thing for killers as survivors have (the ability to skip 15 seconds worth pointless mori sequence and 15 seconds worth of t bagging.) the only ones it would effect are the people that t bag at the gate instead of just escaping.

Its not though and you just said it in the first sentence. Its highly variable if its over or not at the exit gates.
Perks, powers, addons all these can come into play at the exit gates. There are plenty of wonderful "just leave" videos I can point you to that show you just how much taunting gets punished.
3 survivors dead and one person on the ground in front of you though? Find me footage of a killer loss when this happens. You cant.
From what I can tell, this is another case reasoning of, "well if they do it to me I should beable to do it to them"
A mori is a game mechanic, one that you cant do anything about once it starts.
T-bagging at the exit gates, you have plenty you can do.
A finisher mori isnt BMing or a taunt either, unless you think it is ? I dont think it is, I just think its a waste of time personally. And the mechanic just incentivizes slugging issues. And same rules apply to killers as it does with survivors. Survivors shouldn't be able to abandon when they have the ability revive themselves (Partly why bhvr specifically said plot twist wouldn't activate abandon). This rule would apply to killers, can't abandon if they have certain perks that stops survivors leaving for example and would only be able to abandon when ALL are at the gates. There's no double standards here lol if it applies to one it applies to the other.

Yea I dont see why you shouldnt beable to just abandon (lose from a change you want)
Like … the game is over 100%, outside of the killers … computer/game system crashing I guess?
Other than roleplaying its an animation that I personally dont wanna stick around for. I already said I hated the idea it was implemented to begin with.
Preemptively, for survivors at the exit gate you definetely have several chances to get a kill though so its not over. Or they might not even be at the exit gate, or you might have end game perks.
The person on the ground with 3 others dead… you have them dead to rights… I dont see where this is going.Except it is over when all are at the gates. The killer can only get a kill in this situation if the survivors fumble big time or maybe if killer has noed even then its such a small chance of getting a kill it's practically non existent. just like if the killer was to go for a hook and fumble it meaning the survivor is still able to run. What difference does it make to survivors at the gate if the killer can abandon? They still get their escape and win. People say it's to get extra BP but that's a poor excuse to be honest, we all know it's to taunt the killer. If it's for extra BP then they worse the bleed out timer to get heal points but they dont. They won, makes no difference if killer abandons at that point. The argument of making a survivor sit through a mori animation is the same for survivors making the killer go through the t bagging animation.

So theres one person alive, 3 people dead?
And you down them and you …. want them to watch the mori instead of take an abandon(loss)? Can't force people to watch it, anyone can DC whenever they want. But that is their choice. I don't see why anyone would want to skip that 15sec so badly. If they can't bare it then let them DC like normal. At best make it a clear loss when they do so as if they got mori. Surly you can see how silly it is that people would argue they want to skip that 15sec penalty free, have it considered a draw, keep the items, but not understand if a killer wants to skip 15sec at the gate. Same rules apply to both sides. Both sides is just very silly to want shave off 15sec penalty free. If you want 1 then the other should have it too imo. Or neither side gets that option.
I would like to add, that doesn't mean no abandon option at all for survivors that are slugged. Just means no instant abandon to skip 15seconds that's all.

Its something they have to do for everyone involved, remember that the abandon feature is a team wide mechanic its not just the person you JUST downed its everyone else that has been sitting there as well.
Saying "its just 15 seconds whats the big deal" for a slug on the last person, sort of misses that key point of the abandon feature.
Its not just one person waiting 15 seconds its several other people waiting over a minute at that point.
You could I suppose punish the one person, forcing them to … watch the mori I guess?? I wouldnt want that but maybe you do?
Me personally the mori thing should never have been implemented as it encouraged this whole slugging delima in the first place but thats a separate discussion.Ok and what about the last survivor remaining? Down them and they are the last one down. They abandon instantly...why?

You're hyperfocused on fringe abuse cases and ignoring the broader gameplay problem that made abandon necessary.
If survivors misuse it, that's a separate balance issue, not a reason to strip it entirely. Or add something equally abuseable on the killer side (broken on top of broken).
Like your whole issue at the start was its draw condition above, lets just make it a loss instead. Problem solved. Push for that change. Not push for another abusable system.
And we could open the door to stuff like perk detection but it would just arrive at the same problem we had before. Like the game could try to detect slugged survivors if they had unbreakable for example and disable the abandon feature for the team.
But then youd run into scenarios where killers would be like "use your unbreak, I know you have it". Or griefers that join survivor now have another tool to grief, if things dont go their way.
Im not saying the system is perfect at all. I would want abandon to be a loss if you all are slugged/hooked 100%
I dont want the system implemented because someone cant stomach running to a gate and hitting m1.I have never said strip it entirely, I said I support the abandon to prevent 4min slugging and even suggested ways that accomplish that and it would make it work as intended.
You say these are fringe abuse cases but it's happening more and more frequently and this is just the start, it's a fairly new mechanic and if I'm noticing matches where it's regularly being abused now I hate to think what it would be like a few months down the line.
If it counted as a loss it would be fine, it wouldn't give survivors any benefit to abandon. Just like they can DC at any time. I'm arguing against survivors abusing it for their own gain and avoiding a loss is using it for their own gain. I'm not pushing for any system, I'm simply saying I can understand why some killers would want what survivors have that's all. I still honestly don't understand why people can't sit through 15seconds...as survivor I have no issues sitting out the mori animation. Just seems crazy to me, very much like "I don't want see that I lost, let's quickly bypass it and pretend it never happened". Is it seriously that much of an issue that people can't stand 15 seconds? 4min I can understand but 15 seconds? Come on...what next, complain about the short animation at the start? They want to skip that?

For sure though, you're describing rare edge cases and ignoring why the feature exists: to stop 4-minute bleedouts where no one can play.
You still have full control at the gate — powers, speed, decisions. Slugged survivors don’t.
Bots only exist because people were forced to sit there doing nothing. You want to equate 15 seconds of action to several minutes of forced downtime, I say is not the same.
Where are you getting this idea that bots only exist because survivors are forced to sit there and do nothing? survivors are abandoning first chance they get, I'm getting bit matches pretty often because peoyare bringing unbreakable and not using it, they abandon and leave the bots use it instead.
I understand why abandon exists but as I said it's not being used just for that reason. It's being used beyond it's intent, being used to skip 15 seconds not 4min. There's a big difference. It was never intended to be used to skip a mori animation penalty free.
Slugged survivors that have things like unbreakable do have full control that's my point. That's the current system. They have just as much control over the gameplay and ability to play the match as the killer does. They choose to bring these perks and choose to not use them. Again there is no difference between killer and survivor in this situation. You seem to be fixated on what the abandon feature was designed for instead of what it actually does currently. Currently it provides survivors that have full control over wether they recover or not, unhook or not, it provides them with a get out free card to skip the bits they don't like. Killers don't have this, not should they but survivors shouldn't have this either. Abandon should be to prevent 4min bleedout only, not give survivors a way to get out the match when they have the ability to continue and not to skip 15 seconds because they simply don't like it. It's getting crazy, can't handle 4min bleed out, fair enough. can't handle being hooked, hm ok. now can't handle 15 seconds. There needs to be a line drawn somewhere.

We’ve kind of gone in a circle here, or you're just ignoring half the problem with slugging. It’s not just about time, it’s about gameplay.
Being slugged means you can’t play, can’t move, and can be stuck for minutes. That’s not the same as a 15-second animation.
Or taking 15 seconds to go push people out.
You move at full speed, still can attack, still have your power. The only change is you cant defend generators.
Survivors, you just sit there on the ground waiting.
They arent equal. If you're going to argue they’re equal, you have to actually address that gameplay gap not just say “well it takes 15 seconds either way.”
Like why is it so important to watch a 15 second animation?
The abandon feature happens when the last person is downed/hooked.
I feel, with your 15 seconds idea here, you are describing a vacuum where its just one person down and they immediately get out. The other 1-3 players have been sitting there for a minute or more.
unlikewise you could get a kill at the exit gates, happens ALL of the time. Not just perk based either. What I'm talking about is the last survivor being able to abandon the second they are downed. The killer can't even pick them up before they abandon. The second the Mori starts they abandon. The match is over, 15 seconds and all will be in the post game lobby. But no, they abandon saving themselves 15 seconds.
A situation I had recently was, 2 survivors left... Hooked one, went after the last one while the other was hooked. Hooked them as well. Both on hook, both abandon and turn into bots. 1 bot frees themselves and unhooks the other bot. Now at this point the match is still very much in play, either 1 could potentially get the hatch, 1 could potentially finish a gen. But the survivors have skipped this gameplay penalty free.
I think people are assuming that downed or hooked means the end, there is nothing survivors can do but that's nonsense, if bots can still play the match, get chased, do gens and even heal themselves so can other people. But they abandon, skipping all this gameplay. Why can't killers abandon skipping whatever gameplay there is at the gate? So by your gameplay argument that survivors have to sit there doesn't make sense. There is no argument that justifies any difference, killers have gameplay at the gates, survivors have gameplay if they can recover or unhook. Mori animation takes 15 seconds, hitting out the gate takes 15 seconds.

its roughly the same time it takes for Mori animation but survivors can bypass it. This shouldn't be a thing.
Why?
Same reason why killers can't bypass 15 sec of hitting survivors out the gate. Why can't survivors handle 15 sec of Mori but killers can?

I agree, in principal they are 2 completely different things and not comparable at all. But that is IF survivors can't get back up. And IF survivors lost the match after abandoning. I mean no way to recover, no way to win. And IF they are downed for a length of time. But currently this is not the system in place.
The reason the system was put in place was to bypass people taking the game hostage for several minutes. Its not about winning or losing.
T-bagging doesnt last that long, unless the killer made it last that long.
Slugging lasts that long, because the killer made it last that long. You said it yourself, if the killer is choosing to not chase survivors out they are holding themselves hostage. If survivors are choosing not to get back up when they have the means to do so they too are holding themselves hostage. If someone has unbreakable or a boon or that perk that gaurentees unhook in the basement for example they are not helpless, they are choosing to remain down and choosing to abandon as a means to quickly go next with a "draw" outcome instead of "loss".
Survivors not using a self pick up and instead bleeding out isnt holding the game hostage. They have no control over the killer refusing to hook them.
This is the second thing about draw and lose, if your whole problem of it is this aspect. Then get the devs to change it to a loss instead, since this matters so much, as it seems to be your core problem with the system. It being a draw and not a loss.Essentially it's a broken abandon system and people are asking for the same thing for killer so others realize how broken it is and how broken it would be on the other side.
If thats what the community is asking for then they are just as silly as that suggestion. You dont stack broken on top of broken, that doesnt magically make things equal or fair.
Broken + broken =/= balance
Broken + broken = more broken
You could apply this same argument to people thinking killers need to be buffed up to nurse/blight/kaneki (broken).Maybe if they fixed it so survivors couldn't use the abandon system as a means of avoiding a "loss" and if they changed it so killers that are not leaving people slugged have time to pick up and hook as per game design or prevented abandon when survivors have the choice to recover. Then I would agree with you and fully support the abandon feature for survivor and not killer no one wants to be slugged intentionally for 4min. but as it stands it's a broken system that makes very little sense so my interpretation of the OP is basically highlighting "fix the broken system or give killers the same broken system"
Thats not OPs argument, or the person I originally responded to.
If it was then they would have asked to make the abandon feature a loss, not a draw. None of that language was used in the OP or the response I initially responded to.
"be jerks about it" is just them malding over tbagging. Something they have control over the duration of it or not.
Which is not the case for slugging 4+ minutes on bleed out timers.
You cant just say
"well maybe all survivors should just bring boon expo and unbreakable if they dont like being slugged"
Would be the same thing as saying:
"well maybe killers should just wait out DH"
Things have to change for balance, gameplay, and QOL. Slugging for extremely long times was a reason for it.
But they dont need to change because someone cant take 10-15 seconds to push someone out after a loss. The reason it was in place was so survivors didn't have to endure 4min of being on the ground, but that's now turned into more than it's design. Now it's being used to skip the end entirely, skip being hooked and skip mori and settle for a draw instead of a loss. I'm hoping bhvr pays attention to these forums and realizes how this system is being manipulated beyond their intent.
Like you say it takes 15 seconds to push someone out the gate, its roughly the same time it takes for Mori animation but survivors can bypass it. This shouldn't be a thing. Abandon to prevent 4min slug yes, abandon to skip 15 seconds of end game is unbelievable from killer and survivor side.
Sometimes it takes showing people what it's like to have something broken on the other side before people realize how broken it is, then the broken thing gets fixed which can result in balance. It's about raising awareness to get the issue sorted not directly using broken to fix broken.

I hate how this whole comment section is like 70% of an echo chamber and 30% actual decent opinions.
This idea isn't even really an idea, it seems more like a temper tantrum from an entitled killer main who JUST got out of a terrible match. So, I'll break it down to you in a way that's easy to understand as to why this is a Terrible idea.
1. The game isn't over until all 4 survivors are either put on a shirt, sacrificed to the black thing in the sky, or out of the exit gate.
2. There are whole perks made for EGC and when All Gens are finished which can EASILY, EASILY, turn a match around for anyone if a survivor makes a bad play or a killer puts enough pressure. Here, I'll name a few just further prove my point.
- NOED: Yes, I know, everyone hates this hex, I do too, but not only is a noob stomper but it works very well with ALOT of killers.
- No Way Out: An incredibly good perk that blocks exit gates for a while, giving you more time to secure a kill, & Notifies you when a survivor touches exit gates.
- None are Free: A perk that synergizes WAY too well with No Way Out and makes it IMPOSSIBLE to loop for all survivors for 64 Seconds.
- Blood Warden: You get to see the auras of all survivors and can block it for 60 second if you can get a hook (Literally all of Freddy's perks are good for EGC, why are we acting he wasn't hated for a reason?)
3. It wouldn't be remotely fair since, in the scenario you're suggesting, once EG's are opening you can just abandon match, preventing survivors from actually gaining the BP of escaping. (This excludes those toxic survivors who decide to T-Bag at gates because they can — Though, a good blood warden will change their attitude when they all end up dead lol.)Again as previously stated, I agree in principle. There are many end game perks the killer can use so the killer shouldn't be able to abandon in these situations but as you point out there are perks for the killer, there are perks for survivors to recover from dying state and unhook themselves. You said it's not over until survivors are sacrificed or out the gate? Except with current abandon system it is over when they get downed regardless of what perks they have to recover because they abandon.
If 1 side can abandon in such a way even though they have perks and able to recover or unhook themselves to go for hatch... Killers should too. To say one side can do this but the other can't shows biase towards the one side.

I've personally never experienced survivors hiding hoping for the killer to abandon. But if someone else says they've experienced it, I wouldn't doubt it, because before the abandon feature was implemented I did experience survivors hiding from the killer hoping the killer would disconnect. I personally was too stubborn to disconnect, I'd wait them out or I'd finally find them behind a rock in a corner of the map.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3921100#Comment_3921100
Okay, I'm more confused than ever. What in the world does the WIN/LOSE/DRAW condition apply to? If it's not applicable to MMR, then what is it relevant to? Is it determining Bloodpoint rewards? Because that's the only other thing that matters. The text/icons on the end screens are decorative.
And hell, if the WIN/LOSE/DRAW condition only applies to the end screens, then I'm still confused because the survivor's end screens are binary, they either escape or die, there is no draw.
Has BHVR actually cleared this up or has every response been a vague "no, that's not what it means" thing where they don't clarify what it means?
Edit: Wait, are these conditions just for BHVR's own internal data that they use for balancing purposes? Data which doesn't matter to us at all and so shouldn't even be relayed to us in the first place because it could only cause confusion? Is that what's happened here?
The only thing that has been said is all circumstances of abandon is "draw" other than when killer abandons after 10min of not gens being completed it's a "loss" which currently the end game results screen doesn't reflect this yet but will be changed at some point. and apparently these don't effect MMR. That's all that's been said as far as I'm aware. Anyone's guess at to what that means, doesn't effect MMR due it being a void match so MMR remains the same? MMR can go up even tho the player lost? Go down even though they won? No one knows lol. We are all going by the win lose draw thing.

- There’s a big difference between the survivor Abandon feature and what’s being asked for on the killer side.
- Survivor Abandon exists because sometimes the game was literally taken hostage, they’re slugged with no way to recover, and the killer is just wasting everyone’s time. That’s a design issue that needed a fix.
- But when the exit gates are powered and survivors are standing there teabagging, the killer isn’t powerless. You have complete control. You can walk up, swing, body block, or just let them leave and end the match.
- If you're choosing to stand there and watch it, or hide afk in some part of the match, that’s not the game holding you hostage, that’s just you holding yourself hostage.
- One situation traps players in place with no way out. The other is just someone refusing action because their pride got poked.
No idea why there is bullets all over my post but okay then…
I agree, in principal they are 2 completely different things and not comparable at all. But that is IF survivors can't get back up. And IF survivors lost the match after abandoning. Has there ever been reports of Survivor doing this? Seems like the playerbase likes to pearl clutch over what if's than it happening. And I don't know why people think Killers are forced to Abandon at 10 minutes. If Survivors are getting away with this than it is all on Killer for conceding and allowing it.
Players definitely do this, thats why there will be anti hiding implemented later in the year. True it is in the killers hands to abandon but then the situation becomes who gets bored quicker? Survivors hiding hoping for the killer to abandon? Or killer hoping to find 2 survivors hidden somewhere on the map? Before abandon feature I've had matches last an hour then servers end because that's how long people are prepared to hide. That's the issue currently. Both sides effectively trying to make the other side so bored they give up, that's not what the game is about and not what the Devs intended. Hence why everything has exploded recently with this flawed abandon system. Before that killers were using it to gain a "win" whatever that may be if it doesn't effect MMR.. 🤷♂️ No one knows because the Devs are being deliberately vague on the subject.

Wait are you talking about why you are able to abandon on survivor versus killer with this comment?
Gates being open = you cant stall the game unless the killer decides to not push you out
Being slugged/down = you can stall the game because you decide when the survivors die for several minutes
These two scenarios have nothing to do with one another.
Survivors being left to bleed out for minutes =/= a killer refusing to push survivors out of the gates
Like what is this argument:
"Yea I slugged the survivors on the ground to sit for several minutes, but they get an abandon feature for this. So I should beable to abandon when they open the gate"
?????I could be wrong but I think the point might be that survivors that get downed or hooked and have the ability to get up and continue the game via unbreakable or boons or even unhooking perks choose not to use these perks and instead opt for abandon which gives them a draw instead of loss.
The killer equivalent (or closest to it) would be all survivors at the gate waiting... The killer would have the ability to chase them out but could instead opt for abandon which would give the killer a draw instead of a loss.
I do agree that if survivors have an option to quickly get out of the match penalty free, keep everything and not lose MMR even though they lost or could potentially carry on the match then killers should have the equivalent. Otherwise survivor abandon should be tweaked so they don't get a draw for abandoning a match they lost or maybe don't allow it to be instant they are downed. But as it stands I can see why killers would want the equivalent of what survivors have....a way out fast, penalty free, skip the end game celebration (Mori for killer, t bagging for survivors)

I dunno, I haven't played killer much. I didn't personally witness this issue when I was playing survivor, I never saw the final survivor abandon instead of look for the hatch (I often spectate simply out of curiosity). And when I'm the last survivor, I look for the hatch. But if I got downed looking for it (read the rest of my post before judging), I did abandon. Back when I was still playing (I'm taking a break now that the event's over) and before we knew about the MMR stuff, if my friend or I got downed, we abandoned. Not maliciously or anything, and obviously not because of the MMR (we didn't know about it), but because we discovered abandoning loads the end screen instantly. We've had issues with the game stalling out and giving a "server not responding" error between a match ending organically and the end screen loading (both on PS4 and Switch). The end screen doesn't stall when loading after abandoning, and so far we haven't gotten the "server not responding" error when we do it; it's worth abandoning if it avoids losing everything we earned during the length of the match.
If BHVR would look into that issue when I report it instead of answering my ticket with a "Sorry that happened to you?", I wouldn't mind watching the mori, but I've lost hundreds of thousands of BP (and I mean just in a single match) to that error and, while I don't mind watching the mori, I have seen each of them a hundred times at least by now.
I'm not going to go out my way to smash a pallet across the other side of the map for a pittance of BP it gives when I can just Mori last survivor and be done with the match
I don't understand this statement, it seems like the opposite of what I was saying. Killing a survivor is both a win condition and it rewards way more BP than breaking a pallet, especially if you include the 2.5k Deviousness bonus for killing all 4 survivors
based on the evidence so far, people don't care enough about a small amount of BP for a hatch
I've had so many matches where at least one teammate did nothing but hide and played for the hatch from the start of the trial that it's one of the things I've complained most about on these forums, probably just behind console issues. The hatch has, from my experience, been what a lot of my teammates care about most, hiding, sandbagging, and hiding some more to ensure they get it, even if there are four people left and we managed to get it down to one gen without their help.
My god, if I return to the game and my teammates are suddenly not prioritizing the hatch above all else, I will be so happy I'll freaking kiss the TV in my elation.
Just to clarify you said about hatch giving BP as a reason to go for it. I'm saying BP as a reason for going back to break a left over pallet before getting the Mori also applies. The kill is pretty much guaranteed, do I want to go back and get extra BP to go with what I have (I'm including the BP for the Mori in that) or do I want to just think "meh too little BP for the time and hassle". This is why I look at similarly to hatch. "Do I want to go for the extra BP for the hatch to go with what I already have? Or do I want to just bank whatever BP I currently have?"
As far as people hiding for the hatch, they no longer hide for hatch, they hide in hope killer will abandon after 10min. some don't but many start hiding a lot earlier than usual because of the 10min killer abandon feature. That's why hatch doesn't spawn anywhere near as much as it used to, instead of 3rd survivor intentional getting killed so last has a chance of hatch, both will hide because there is a chance both will get equivalent of hatch (minus the BP reward) via killer abandon. Or both will stay together to get downed together and both abandon to get equivalent of hatch (minus the BP). Over time more and more people will do this while current abandon remains so I'm speculating that the hiding for hatch issue will get worse not better and it won't be for hatch it will be for the abandon option instead.

Yeah good ways to try your pack of lies. You really trying I give you that but your failing. Your a hypocrite period and simple, the way you qq of swf or streamers for that matter all of you what your trying to justify because you ADMIT in every thing you post I tunnel swfs/streamers. Buddy I get alot of love vs hate tyvm because you can think in your delusional mind that am a toxic streamer but my 1k+ of videos says difference.
Just because someone acts a way on a stupid forum does not equal that they are actually like that on live/or in real so am sorry to give you a little education on this. I am driven by attention, says the one whos ready to counter point and say the most stupid non sensible thing to every survivor post. It can be as simple as why is this add on the way it is and your usually the first on spot to talk about skill issue or this and that.
Gimmie one post of me ever asking hey this is op or please nerf/change this. I doubt you will find any. You are so out of what to say that now your saying am grieving my swf LMAO that is a new one. So a group of friends all decide to do another game and its grieving.
Thanks for the laugh that really did made my day. You can call my griefer all you want but you are just as guilty of it for not doing your JOB. Also to add more on your ever hypocrisy it is you first who say oh your one of those survivors who is last go in a locker to deny being moried. Well I will just stare then for 1 hour. Would you like me to qoute that point for you?
Once again another reply that demonstrates your mindset and attitude lol keep digging 😂 your not making yourself come across any better trust me. smh sound very bitter and angry, just relax and move on, play to your apparent 1k audience. I genuinely don't care, I get my 3/4k regularly so I'm happy regardless of what toxic gameplay you do because if someone tries it with me I can deal with it my way. It's all good

abandoning is now a guaranteed hatch escape now no reason to look for that
Unless abandoning gives the survivor player the Bloodpoints they would've gotten for a hatch escape, that's just wrong.
I'm not saying the MMR thing isn't an issue, just that your statement "no reason to look for [the hatch]" is incorrect unless it's rewarding the escape BP. And you can't convince me players don't care about BP after we just had a BP event with everyone going on and on about needing more BP, the event should continue on longer, we should always be getting this much BP, etc. etc.
you might be right that abandon doesn't give hatch BP but based on the evidence so far, people don't care enough about a small amount of BP for a hatch. Can't compare blood moon event that gave 500% bonus total BP to like 1k or 1.5k BP (I'm not sure the exact amount) for hatch. BP is always nice but I'm not going to go out my way to smash a pallet across the other side of the map for a pittance of BP it gives when I can just Mori last survivor and be done with the match. I think it would be more accurate to say there is not enough of a reason to get hatch rather than there is or isn't a reason to get hatch. Since abandon has been an option I haven't seen hatch spawn at all, people would rather take the free abandon just based on what I have seen in my matches so far and what others have said here.

Except for during BP events, I love going against Tombstone Myers. If I like them, I get killed in a fun manner (I've tricked some into Tombstoning me when they swing at an object and I run into their swing). If I don't like them, I frustrate the hell out of them with not letting go of gens and/or Plot Twisting. It's a really entertaining change-up from the normal gameplay loop.
If survivors don't ignorantly feed him EW, then you can get through a lot of gens before a double-iri Myers powers up. Tombstone Piece is a different matter, I've seen it get powered up way too quickly and that feels especially crappy when some watch-me-teabag teammate powers Myers up and then he goes and kills some other poor unsuspecting survivor who had no idea the Meg was butt dancing in the killer's face all this time.
100% this. People that complain about Myers being op or tombstone op are usually the ones that like to t bag killers at every available opportunity. This allows stalk to build and get a mori early. If people avoided line of sight Myers is actually harmless. Slow, no anti loop M1 killer. I even went months of trying to explain to people post match when I'm Myers, a good tactic to counter Myers is jump in a locker BEFORE he gets his stalk. People just didn't understand why give a hook stage for nothing. But it's not for nothing, Myers can't stalk the player if they are in a locker and can't stalk if they are hooked. So it denies his entire power and gives others a chance to knock out a few gens. Many times people hide in locker after Myers has 99 stalk, which is way too late, the damage is done. Myers can hook them and is already set up to Mori the next player they come across, potentially Mori the one going for the unhook. Being a Myers main I know the things that counter me and what would slow me down in a match, survivors just don't do these things often.

First off all learn to spell. Second of all the term survivor means to do all to you want to stay alive. If you wanna be stupid and not pull the person out the locker then its on you.
The hypocrite is you as in alot of posts you admit to tunnel or slugging to deny hatch specially when its vs swfs. Must I remind you a big hypocrisy of you is saying I hate distortion rats, am tired of people stealthing and not doing objective.
Then afterwards when there was a topic about do you think looping is fun? Your response is it takes no skill or is boring and you prefer stealth instead. Who is the bigger hypocrite? I dont be toxic to killers at all, killers just auto hate ttvs so even if we do a simple pallet stun or a 360 they get so pissed, like am to just stand there and let them hit me. Then again when people like you who do not stream ofc you wouldn't have a clue of this.
You should look up the term survival, of denying your stale mori makes you so salty tough ######### bro. If you think tombstone piece takes any kind of skill then do you bro, dont be mad when someone dont hand you your free mori. Your mad cause I use the counter design to your cheap style, does it say in the rules, do not use lockers vs a tombstone mori myers?
You have the power to pull them out and yank them and even if the leave you get the on the bot. Still can't answer my question bri what's the difference of watching a mori on a bot vs a person? Why so scared to answer?
Again I don't expect a griefer like you to under the difference between stealth as a means to do the objective and stealth as a means to avoid the objective. The objective of survivor is gens. If people want to be rats and avoid gens, it's not ideal but I have my way of dealing with it. and when the anti hiding mechanic comes in people will understand that hiding to avoid the objective doesn't pay off.
Are you seriously under the impression I'm mad about something? I already explained I adapt and treat people as I'm treated, doesn't bother me personally but for the health of the game I offer my opinions lol.
You ask what the difference between mori bot and survivor? Answer is the same difference between custom matches v bots and PvP for some people. But honestly for me I don't care that much a win is a win for me but I wouldn't yank them out of the locker out of principle and my own form of justice. but in the same argument you have the power to do gens? So why hide?
I wasn't sure if you were being dense or a deliberate greifer but it's clear from this discussion your sole intention is to grief. Your not dense, you know exactly what your doing when you do what you do and your motives are crystal clear.
Your driven by attention it seems, as many griefers are. many times you say your done with replying to me but your compelled to reply each time... Very much like you relish in trying to grief players in your swf. Yet another thing to add to this of things you say but your actions say something very different.
I think the main issue with some streamers is that they don't play the game for their own fun. They play up to the crowd and if the crowd likes seeing someone get bullied some streamers will play to this to get viewers. Not all but there are streamers out there that care more about pleasing a mob of people laughing at someone being bullied than they do about actually playing the game. You certainly seem like one of those streamers. I play for me, you play for other peoples amusement like a puppet and play how they want you to play if it means getting more views. But streamers that genuinely play and don't act like a child seem fine when I play against them, they say GG, we have a laugh post game chat and move on. If you want to know why killers target streamers look in the mirror, because you give streamers a bad name and a bad rep imo.
