Wait, it's guaranteed now? Last time I tried using it, it went off, didn't count, I was dead with exhaustion up as if I used it because of how bad their servers are.
Also my ping is always the lowest at 30, and I absolutely hit the button properly, it's not my problem the killer has bad internet. But never in my life had DH been guaranteed.

I'm curious as to know they know people are on voice chat in the first place. Sometimes I'm on the phone on speaker with my friend, how can they detect that? O.o

It is terrible game design to have a perk that removes a killers m2 or heavily restricts what a player can do. How do you play leatherface vs dh? If you injure the survivor you then can't use your m2 because they can just dh it. The best perk in the game was buffed vs certain killers.
This is in FFXIV as well. It's why I quit playing it after years. In that game, it shows an orange circle for the enemies attack, on my end I'm out of it, yet I still get hit and end up dead in a corner extremely far from the orange marker, it's ridiculous.
Makes me sad this game suffers from that too and then they put a perk that requires precise timing. My ping is 30 always, usually the lowest and the game acts like I never hit the button, I spam it so much my bf is like ######### are you doing lol. I was like I HIT THE DAMN BUTTON AND ITS NOT GOING OFF lol, yet I have the exhausted effect, awesome.

Same, I mostly play solo q. Everytime I play with SWF, even people I've known for years, I get hit on, eventually told that they've fallen in love with me it censored the word, so "wat da fek" lol) etc. Not worth it, I rather deal with the hell that is solo q and just play by myself.
Also why is w t f being censored in a game where I can see myself being stabbed multiple times, tentacles coming out of my face, hooks pulling my face apart while I go into an alternative dimension, etc? That's some strange logic.

This is my experience daily. I've stunned the killer yet somehow died still, countless times. I've vaulted and died six feet from it. I've vaulted safely then been pulled back into Weskers arm attack thing.
It's ridiculous. My ping is also a stable 30. What in the world is going on, I've found myself playing less because of this :( no word from the devs on this or any kind of fix, let alone acknowledging the issue.

Step 1 : Bought all 6 cosmetics from the new dog and cat sale
Step 2 : Go to check my charms to equip the new ones
Step 3 : Charms are not in my inventory, I checked over five times. I noticed a lot of people are having this issue on twitter as well. Is there something we need to do to activate the charms?

I have this same issue and have an incredible ping and pc. It's something that happened to me after the update. Before the last update I could vault fine, stun killers np, etc. Now palettes act like I'm not there, the rare times I stun the killer, they somehow kill me but still get stunned. Makes sense...lol...
I play on PC with my xbox controller and always have, it works just fine. Tested it in the xbox app and with other games, it's 100% working. It's something with this game. I always escaped and/or was last person alive. Now I'm first to die and first to be hooked, hurray.

Yup, idk since the update something changed. I can't vault windows without dying very far from them, palettes won't drop when I push the button which results in me dying and never stunning killers looping is impossible, I can't lose chases anymore, there are these weird long drawn out matches where killers guard three close generators.
I had a lot of luck in solo q before the update, it wasn't terrible. Now it's so bad I have to stop playing for days and come back. My boyfriend notices this when he watches me play, I used to hardly ever die and have fun, now it's just me getting found first, hooked first and dying first from the match. Not fun anymore :(

Yup, my ping is always the lowest at 30 or less and after I vault I'm suddenly dead very far from the window. Also palette drops don't work and I've actually stunned the killer yet somehow still died.
This crap started happening after the patch. My bf watches me play a lot and notices it all the time. He always asks why we can't see the killers ping, it's ridiculous. It's made me play less and less as well. I don't have fun dying from nothing, when before I could lose chases and loop very well, now it's just die and go down from this random bs.

Haha, yup I hear ya on that.
The weird thing is my friend who got me the game said that he got me all her cosmetics, and I know he did! However they are gone, now that is strange..lol pun intended.

Yeah my friend bought me all the dlc back when he got me the game a long time ago. I came back recently and wanted to buy cosmetics for Nancy and there isn't any. Good work Netflix lol.

Just encountered a huntress who could magically throw through walls, I am 100% sure and caught it on video. My BF was watching and kept saying "How is that possible?" It's not fair that I have to take a DC penalty when playing against cheaters, or I am forced to sit there and play a match with these fools.
Yes, I could leave via hook, I usually do, but this is ridiculous.

So far, 4. It's getting ridiculous and so obvious. Such a shame to see them run rampant in this game, I report and block, but it seems like for every one I report, more show up.
They think they are sneaky and make it hard to tell, but it's not that hard. Makes me want to stop playing, which is sad...it's just really disheartening.

In my matches I usually always see two dc's in the first few mins or seconds. It's extremely common now. Then the killer goes extra sweaty like their life is on the line on me and the other person left. So much fun :/

Been my experience as well and no longer fun like it was before. I find myself wanting to play less and less due to needing breaks after having being tunneled for every single match (not exaggerating) after playing for hours. If it's not tunneling it's dealing with the eruption thing.
My friend already quit and I don't blame them. Makes me sad to see this happening as dbd was so much fun for me before.

If they fixed it so you purposely DC and get these penalties, fine. But I've had it where their own game crashes and it's their bad coding but I get a penalty. I didn't wanna leave, I never DC because I lose, get tunneled out at 5 gens (almost every match now, but I still try) or rage quit. I don't even suicide on hook, even when I've got jerks who let me get to second hook on first hook heh.
Anyway my point is if this happens only to people who purposely DC then fine.

My Claire is p60 and I get hard tunneled out of every match. Can't wait for the fun to start once I get p100!
What Youko said though is very good advice imho.
I mean I agree with you OP, toxic people suck and it seems like a lot of these online games attract them.

Lately, I've been tunneled first out of every single match for the past week.
I don't play toxic, I just start on a gen and then just get tunneled out. My team mates try to take hits, flash light saves, you name it. Doesn't matter.
It's getting very, very old. I play Lisaand Claire mostly. I don't get why this keeps happening. They ignore everyone else and just go after me.

Maybe in some cases but I have previously made a thread asking why some team mates absolutely insist on being healed under the hook, despite it clearly being a bad idea such as with Artist etc. Though the majority of tunnelling I see is the killer hard proxies and then directly goes after the person who gets unhooked no matter if the unhooker takes a hit so they could also be a viable target
This is exactly what happens to me in every. single. match.
I've had team mates try to save me, help, do what they can but killer ignores them for me from the start of the match. Again, I'm not toxic in any way, I don't get it.

Today I played nearly all day as Lisa, Claire and Feng and every single match I was tunneled out at the start. I don't play toxic, or do anything mean. I was just in a Gen.
I use OTR and it didn't help at all. This is getting ridiculous for me and it makes me want to stop playing because being tunneled out of every match at the start is just cringe.

I wish Claire would get more outfits too. I know she's a legendary character but there are so many other outfits she has in the other RE games.

I'd love to know too because I play solo q as well and a lot of times it's painful. I've got to run aura perks for info (bond, etc) and sometimes when I'm on VC with my friends yeah, it makes the game a joke.
Basekit kindred would be a start. Problem is how can they tell the difference if someone is on VC or if they are solo q? :(
Something needs to be done, I'm getting tired of dying on first hook in solo q haha.

Is that person a dev? I'm not familiar with names or anything. If a dev says it then yeah, that's how you'll know.
Beyond that, I play solo q mostly, over halfway to p100 and it's hit or miss. Most games are a loss lately. I have people leaving on first hook, dcing and giving up afk if they get hooked once and yep, we lose. This seems to be happening in my games more and more lately.
When people stay though, it's 50/50 win rate I'd say.

I've been asking for RE5 Jill and more costumes for Claire! I know she's a legendary skin, but it would be nice to see more options for her IMHO.

Give us an option to toggle it on and off at least. I've been called worse thing than I have in the chat and lived. I try to be kind and say nice things after the game only to get censored and have people think I'm being mean.

How would one suggest the game can tell that people are playing on Voice Chat? This would destroy Solo Q, which is what I play :)
I think this is something that cannot really be solved, since there is currently two forms of game play, solo q or VC. But like Nathan13 said, this aint happening haha.

I was gonna say...this is starting to sound like FFXIV lol. They do far worse, they have a very expensive sub if you aren't legacy (If you get all the retainers) and have an online shop. if you miss an in-game event, you have to wait one year to be able to purchase them on the Mog Station. Then they have Mog Station (Their online store) exclusive items...and people buy it. People spend $40.00 for a mount, which isn't faster and doesn't do anything different, it's just a skin.
Game companies do this because they can get away with it. People spend the money and they know it, so they take advantage of that.
I've got quite a lot of things in DBD, the last thing I am waiting for is if they EVER put in Clarie's other outfits in-game, or Jill's RE5 outfit, omg I would kill for that. Other than that, I don't really play anyone but Lisa and Claire, so not much to buy, but I am not liking this FOMO stuff. I don't give into it, if I want something, I buy it, if not, I don't. It's that simple. I bought a lot of the sweaters when I started in August because I liked them, if they weren't there and I had to wait, then I guess I'd just wait when they pull this stuff. Bleh.

Yeah a lot of times I have a gen at 99% and the killer comes over, kicks it...and I by the time I get back to it, it's nearly at 0. I guess that's the way it goes, I use prove thyself and my friend and I once had a match last over an hour and a half with a Nemesis that just kept running back and forth to the last 2 generators. He refused to kill us and had that gen regression perk. That is a match I won't forget XD

There are a few ways to counter this. Flashbang is one, another is everyone working together to unhook the survivor if the killer is camping, if someone gets grabbed while unhooking, let one flashbang or use a flashlight for a save, and the other can unhook. It's all about team work, my friend and I only solo q, and we often are not on voice together and we manage to pull it off a lot. I think its fine how it is.
