I've been struggling lately around ranks 6-9 as a killer. Anything above I've won with little effort tbh. As you get lower and lower, the survivors really dont mess around nearly as much. Even with hex ruin, thana, and things like hex thrill to make sure they stay off my totem, people work through them pretty well. I've been looking for genslow combos to help...not as much luck. And recently I've gotten looped to oblivion as well. It kinda sucks. (Dont know why all survivors have to sit by the doors once they're open and teabag. This is why people run noed...)

Hmmm I think the only nerf needed for killer related stuff are Morris. They should really either have a "hook all survivors are least 1 time" before it activates (by this I mean you literally have to have hooked ALL survivors at least once before the option becomes available. Thus stopping killers from being jerks with it, because they can really tip the scales for a lot of games to just tunnel unhooked until they kill them off and getting in instant 1v3. Or just make it so you cant mori till last hook, but increase the bloodpoint gain for doing it. It should really only be a flashy way to kill someone.
Other than that, most stuff we have isn't THAT OP....or maybe it's just the killers I main dont really have OP things....I dunno... other than huntress with iridescent heads and belt combo...

Ah another survivor complaining about another killer, already complained enough to nerf the Nurse down to #########, how about we remove all killer's weapons and add-ons huh? Would that be better for you?
This can literally be said about half the survivor perks/addons and items from all us killers in the game too. Just saying this argument is completely idiotic.

They used to not do that I thought. Or was I always just missing something. I remember back then I swear a trap exploded on their head when they tried to crawl out the gate with it on.

If they normalized her speed and sped up the charge time a slight bit of her blinks recharge stacks I think it would definitely help fix her. Mainly normalizing her speed to that of at least hag maybe slightly better because her main issue will be the fact she cant keep up with anyone.

Holy smokes this was informative. I very much appreciate this. I'll be bookmarking this. Thank you very much for taking the time to do all this! :D

This is absolutely broken logic. No one here is telling you to abide by any time schedule. You are free to ignore it.
It's you demanding that in ignoring that time schedule you be given everything.
You have no entitlement to everything you want. You do have the opportunity to achieve everything you want in the same fashion everyone else has in being offered that opportunity.
I do see a problem here. The west has created a culture where people who do not own intellectual property believe they have an entitlement to dictate how someone else's intellectual property is handled.
This. So much of this.

Both. They work against undetectable.
Object of Obsession is a different perk which doesn't have that property.
Ahh, tbh I've never ran into a game with anyone running the perk. I'm around rank 8. Then again I play pig and clown...not ghostface so I guess I wouldnt know lol

I thought spinechill trumps all killer stealth or was that premonition

What about survivors instantly getting to stage 2 on the hook in the basement?
No, because that would basically mean iron grasp and agitation comes with every kit because it's basically a guaranteed fast kill. And all you need to do is tunnel/camp the person being rescued. It's not hard getting people into the basement. Especially with irongrasp and agitation.

I'm a casual player and I say, eh. Whatever. If I cant get it all it's really no different than say, fortnite...what's the difference between having 0 battle pass atm and having one that gives free stuff for playing? I say we should just not get a battle pass since people seem to dislike it that hard at this point.
-
Both sides sling a fair amount of mud at eachother to be honest...often about the dumbest things
-
Lowrank- Not really mandatory. More eh than anything
Highrank- you better have it or be prepared to cry.
Ruin to killer is kinda like DS for surv. Basically its helpful most of the times while sometimes it can be useless. It's too good of a safety net to not bring. Although I'm a paranoid killer and have to run thrill of the Hunt with it to keep it nice and safe...

Thanatophobia + Dying Light
I heard it works wonders on Plague
Still have to find either perk yet
Yeah, the new changes to level 50 helps a lot though. So this shouldn't be too hard. What else can I use to track them easier while injured?

How could anything be more unfun and frustrating than playing against 4 people on comms? I could care less about rank or 'winning' but games against SWF (which are most) are so agonizingly boring/unfun that it makes me want to just uninstall the game. But ya know... the good ol' devs just want to keep pandering to the survbots, even though it's already incredibly easy to face a killer. I can't wait until I finally give up on this game.
P.S. before anyone asks, I don't dodge because I actually want to play, not wait in a lobby for 20 minutes :)
For the last year they've actually been catering to us killers...I dont know what you've been on, but they've been doing fix after fix. And I love stomping SWF. Sometimes you lose hard, but eh, sometimes it just be like that. You know what you signed up for. If you dont like it, leave lobby and pray for players that are solo.
Beating a SWF feels incredible for me. Nothing feels better than the though of knowing that that group of people are all probably yelling at eachother about what I did to them. Od maybe they're just laughing and having a good time. Who knows. Dont focus too much on it. The changes will come eventually. Maybe they'll add a feature that's specific for SWF and it would have specific nerfs to things while doing SWF. Honestly it's not all that hard to beat them (I usually count killing 2-3 as a win though)

I think you need to use Thanatophobia. It forces survivors to drink from the fountains.
Would that actually work much more from like 18 seconds total on gentime? I have yet to try this but definitely will

Scenario for yah. Played a game against a bubba. He brought a mori on Blackwater's swamp. He downed a teammate within 20 seconds of the match put him in the basement, camped him & took down someone who tried to save him (I dont recall if he had insideous). Me and the other guy worked on gens, he finished 2 and the other guys died in the basement when figured bubba was camping (after they died in basement I saw him come out of killer shack where the basement was, so yeah he still sticking down there) he found the other guy, chased him down, downed him, threw him on hook, (I had distortion so his BBQ didnt work) guy on hook DCed, bubba found me while hatch was bugged (other guy was gone and it didnt spawn for the 2 minutes I was running around looking for it, no hatch icon on the screen) Tried to chainsaw me, missed three times and finally hit me at a window with m1. Lost me due to looping around swamp house (must have hurt his head lol) found hatch because it magically spawned after being hit, threw a pallet near the hatch and went on it. As soon as he saw me I jumped in it. Then I got the magical "disconnected from host" as soon as I went in the hatch. So was the bubba toxic for DCing because he didnt get the 4kill? Or am I just imagining things.

Soo to what I've read. People dont take videos etc as proof that killers work at red ranks despite them being...at red ranks. The win just mean garbage survivors...but if they lose it's because the survivors are too good and the killer character used is bad...???????? What.....? It makes it sound like its every excuse as to why it's the survivors fault on whether a killer is good or bad. Huh? Strategy and skill do play a factor. It's not one sided. I dont understand. Either they suck or they dont. Just because you lose to survivors at red rank doesnt make the killer bad. Just cause you win at red ranks doesnt mean the killer is good either though...it just means bad survivors. This argument is kinda stupid and flawed in both aspects.
-
You can always run the plagues ability. People consider it extremely low tier though due to it being useless for the rest of the game. It heavily limits the gens they can do though. I've recently tried Corrupt intervention, Ruin, Discordance, and Pop goes the weasel. So far it's doing pretty good. We have all these perks to really help figure out who's doing what. Sure they can work through ruin, but it definitely hinders people. Sucks that it's mandatory in the later ends of things, but eh, the game isn't balanced around SWF. Unless these players were all randoms, idek. Even still, I usually find people before Corrupt intervention goes away.
-
Second staircase would not be...fun...especially against SFW's. All I can see is being looped around stairs due to balanced landing and killer shack already having godpallet. If they got rid of god pallet, sure maybe.

It would be nice if either a dev or a community manager would answer this.
Judging by the reactions here, people would still riot over a quarter of an entire second nerf. Anything to justify us killers being booty I suppose. It's on PTB for a reason. People seem to still not understand what PTB stands for and takes it as the perfect version.
-
It's a strat. I wouldn't feel too bad.
-
I like my idea better. Increase the amount of dull totems allowed on a map from the 5 to now 8. Hex ruin now spawns 4 hex totems. Each hex totem is tied to a survivor. If a survivor cleanses it, it could he a different survivors hex they remove. So basically they'd have to keep hunting till they found the one they were tied to or else they would have hex until they do. This would allow killers to still run other hex's as well. This would also make haunted grounds scary AF, but would still five mileage to running a pure hex build. And finally people would hush about NOED if they just get rid of any totem they see in the first place lol.

Some of you guys just do not care that there are other things as a priority. I keep seeing everyone complaining about them not caring, but legion came out only a year ago, and they're trying to fix other characters. They just reworked freddy, added demigorgon, before them ghostface, had to tweek him. All this stuff really does take time. It's not hard as apposed to "adding addons" and things, more so as balancing. If they rush stuff out the window, everyone will be right back in here crying about something feeling half done. With all the stuff they've added recently (ghostface, freddy rework, demigorgon, nurse rework coming up, then the new survivors) yeah, I can see them being pushed back a bit. People actin like they dont care, but they're trying to add things and tweak things to make people happy. Cant make everyone happy sadly. It will get its time. Game has been out for how many years now? 3? They've done a lot since then. Rome wasn't built in a day. Bar-b-que and chili -cough- bad pun.

Was waiting to see if my post magically popped back up, it disappeared. So i'll repost it the best I can remember with a few addons and alterations.
I main the clown and can say a few things about true's video. Namely he made a LOT of mistakes. He missed his bottles because he was too focused on the instadown, when he lost his hex ruin early, and after 2-3 gens popped, instead of playing defensively he chose to continue to tunnel. One of the biggest things Killers do is stay on a 1 track play style. You cannot do that and expect to win. He continued to over-commit to chases. You HAVE to adapt and change your strategy sometimes. Aside from gen-placement, one thing I've done in the past was force 3Gens. A good example was I was on yamaoka estate, 3 gens were completed, I had maybe gotten 1 person down a single time so I was on track to lose pretty fast, however i realized that the completed gens were mainly on the other side of the map. The side i wasn't doing chases near. There were still 2 near the house (One on each side) and 1 inside the house then one kinda near the killer shack. I stopped going for chases and started protecting the 3 gens mainly around the house (I run pop goes the weasel and overcharge btw) After a bit they of course completed the one by the shack. As soon as they did that they screwed up because of the 3gen. Now with only 1 left I was easily able to go back and forth to the gens left. After a bit of not committing to chases and breaking off to check gens every time i started a chase and pretty much got a hit, I finally downed someone and slugged them (This is a strat especially against genrushing. Some can say it's scummy, but to all the other killer mains here, Gen rushing is apparently scummy too. So whatever) All in all, I turned the match around in my favor and easily won after that as the survivors fell one by one.
The problems I see to me runs down to a couple things. Namely, SWF which will ALWAYS be a problem, and the killer PLAYER. Most killers play WAY to linear in my opinion. When playing against SWF, you have to be flexible and change your tactics. If you continue to only play 1 way, while they have the communication, you will most likely not get a win. The only thing that I see increasing repair speed doing is screwing over solo survivors more than fix the problem. It's already pretty bad on them in general. True made so many mistakes. Focusing on committing to chases to a point he even wasted PGTW. Even after he had placed someone in the basement, he didn't bother to play around that. That one is huge. He was severely punished for thirsting for a down instead of trying to stay defensive.. Some are probably gonna argue "What is he going to do then" for starters. Stop overcommitting to chases if you only have a few gens left, especially if the genrushed you. You know what their priority is. Shoot even before you see a genrush they only have one thing to do... You need to apply pressure on the gens more. Which he did not do. I'd expect to be punished too if i played like that. The main issue is SWF and will continue to be SWF. You can nerf the gen repairs and people will still find something new to complain about with survivors. Now if these are random players he's going against, sorry you lost that hard? Again though. Change. Your. Playstyle. Killers have the ability to do that much more than the survivors.
-
Good example of a few things. I MAIN clown. Firstly. He missed a lot of his bottles. Instead of breaking off to use pop he continued to tunnel and did nothing with it. I just finished playing a map at the estate, 3 gens done and I noticed they mainly fixed the 3 on one side of the map. So I purposely camped the other 3 gens, not commiting to a chase and just ran back and forth to the 3 that were extremely close to eachother. One on each side of the house, 1 inside. There was on a bit farther off towards killer shack across the area. I let them have that. After they got it, I forced a 3gen. The problem with true in that video is he overcommitted to his chases instead of noticed "hey I'm being rushed, I need to apply pressure to gens" on top of losing ruin, missing his expose bottles. He screwed up HARD and was punished. He played pretty poor that match aside from the few catches with the confusing mind games he did. He didnt even change is strategy. You NEED to adapt and change up how you play or people will take advantage of it. One of the big problems I continue to see more often than not are killers who dont change their strategy when playing against SWF. They just tunnel down players constantly. Getting gen rushed? Start guarding gens. Dont committ to every single chase. You know if its SWF they be telling their friends what is going on.
Sure you can increase gentime (they added diminishing to them when more than one person messed with them didnt they? Or was that always there) but you will completely just screw over regular solo survivors even harder. The real problem is more so SWF.

I usually ignore it. It reallllyyyyyy depends on how hard they're trying to be toxic though.

"brought up massively"... Nobody will use this Perk. And if someone is using this Perk, dont camp.
And yes, you have to ignore that. They said it is all Subject to Change.
The saying that get's thrown around like crazy that I see both sides flinging at the other really applies to the perk. "Adapt" Walking away is literally a hard counter to the perk. Just don't play overly campy and they basically waste a perk.
-
I really only see this as a problem for killers that are camping, or SWF because it's SWF.....And i mean like 4 person SFW. I don't camp though so it doesn't really bother me in the slightest. Only time i'm near the area is if someone decides to either farm their allies or wants to try and run me around the hook someones on like a dummy. I feel bad for the people who have that happen (If they try and farm their teammate i usually down the person who attempted and let the other one off. I'll get them later anyway :P)

They should make DS counter mori 1 time xD That would be funny. (This is a joke btw....)
