Honestly its a mindset thing and it will never be fixed. Only way is to remove the option to keelyaself on hook and keep the dc penalties. They turned dc penalties off for the event because some people were complaining about crash problems, which is fair. But as a result people just abuse it and are spamming dc, its sad but the mindset of the community is just trash.

It just doesn't happen to me. I played 10 games as survivor last night and didn't have any DCs or Suicides on Hook. (Well, I did have a Killer DC because he couldn't handle the fact he couldn't win a chase).
I would say it happens at least a couple of games daily. I only solo q so the chances are higher of people dcing/giving up. I see it happening quite often in dbd streams as well. Consider yourself lucky! :D

Anyways, the game promotes a toxic gameplay feedback loop where it feels so ######### to lose that you'll stack everything in your favor to avoid that, hence you get matches like this.
A good option is to move on to other games. People get too emotionally attached by playing the same game for years and get stuck without realizing you can always move on to other games, forcing it when its not fun its pointless.

Woah! He got 1 hook with 1 gen left. Survivor is really unplayable!!! And I'm guessing facecamping bubba is a new feature as well, I'm sure that never happened before, but ONLY on this patch... You're not supposed to 4 out every game, your point only shows entitlement.
You went down at 5 gens vs a mid tier killer... Doesn't mean the game is over either, if your team doesn't save you just move on.

I always played soloq survivor and always did fine. I can get it people calling it frustrating, but if you call it unplayable ur either terrible at the game or biased af and used to get carried by swf. What ruins soloq is people dcing like actual manchilds instead of playing the game.

Honestly, I don't know how practicing will suddenly stop the game from freezing up whenever anything happens, but according to half this thread apparently console performance problems are a "skill issue," so I can only assume that if I practice enough on the Switch then the game will stop freezing and dropping frames. Hey, will practice making the performance issues better as survivor transfer over to killer, too? Killer is literally unplayable on Switch. I can get to iri 1 in a week as killer on PS4 but I can't get out of ash in a month on Switch.
1 - You act like you cannot practice hitting greats on gens for some reason, very weird argument.
2- Then you change the conversation to game optimization (which sucks balls, yes) but has nothing to do with DS mechanic. If your game is freezing and stuttering as much as you say, having a "free ds" won't help much anyway.

It's pretty much the same, if you raise your mmr all killers mmr raise as well. The difference is mild or completely random for what I've noticed.

Nurse is just another band-aid to pretend this game is balanced. Lets make a killer who ignores most of the core mechanics of the game and pretend everything is fine. Meanwhile if you play a basic m1, doesn't matter if you have 9000 thousand hours of experience, you get a ######### map and decent m1 lovers who just spread out, play safe and buttfuk gens and you can't stand a chance. Great design 👍️
