Killer, Beast of prey, Now you never have a red stain but still gain undetectable after reaching Bloodlust tier 1.
Survivor, Inner Healing, You gain the perk on blessing totems too.
-
The Devs said the FoV slider was coming either later this year or Sometime Next year in the reddit QnA. Someone else might have the link to it.

Evidently not. You didn’t really kill all four; bleedout doesn’t count in the dev’s eyes b/c it isn’t how they intend the game to be played. If you dislike it tag a dev and asked why they changed it. 🤷♀️
No, I have gotten my adept for Singularity by bleeding out a survivor so apparently it is intended.
-
First replace Tinkerer with a perk to delay your game. I would recommend corrupt or Deadlock or Ultimate weapon so you can practice more chases. Secondly, for your tail gameplay, if you can get a M1 go for that instead of the tail only use the tail when you know a survivor will be animation locked or when they are stuck in a very bad position. I know from experience, you might be using your tail too much and missing too often. Secondly, use your tunnels and stealth to get an advantage early. Additionally, try a mixture of slugging one survivor and going for another to build up pressure. Lastly, try to record some of your games and watch through and see what you did wrong. If all this does not work then Xeno might just not be for you.
Tldr, Use M1 unless you have to use your tail to get a hit, also try hit and run and using your tunnels to chase quickly.

I wonder how they are testing this? Are they keeping track of lobby dodging or something? Lol.
They likely are just seeing if killers or survivors adjust builds, dodge, or behave the same regardless of prestige.
Data will likely show killers dodge survivors with large prestige, and Survivors dodge survivors with low prestige. Or that no large impact occurs when prestige is shown.
-
Yeah the Devs said that an Fov slider for killer is coming next year in <2k24>. Though it might just be making shadowborn basekit with an option.
-
A good way to find out if a killer is at least decent is to play them Ten games in a row.
Myers has fun addons, pig has stealth and saw. Wesker has Music and his power. Etc.
Singularity has almost nothing outside of its looks and voice. It requires absurd effort and if you play even five games of it you will realize why no one want to play it.
-
Yeah, I agree with pulsar there is always a way to improve even if you do not see it and more hours can help.
-
Might be your region, I have heard that EU queues can be high. Could also be your time of day impacting people playing in your area.
-
Its the BBQ effect. It never really goes away....
-
I just wish we had old beast of prey so we could get at least an option to deal with it.

Simply to much RNG. With my luck i´d get No Mither, Self Care, Botany and Mettle of Man.
Try No Mither, Self Care, Overcome, and Solidarity.

She is still weak unless you get hit. So just treat her like a worse clown and predrop or use god windows. What will she do, walk at you faster. Just play really safe and she has no power.

Well two things,
The fact that Wesker was able to grab fully infected survivor seems like it was never intended in the first place so at most you should have been just slapping them for a health state. Additionally, your ping is variable especially given that you can't check your ping to the server unless you are survivor so I doubt your ping was just 30 ms.
The slap still instant kills if you are fully infected too, and is intended. The immediate grab is not.

To be fair. The survivors in the first match were beyond terrible. Like the one that ran away from the god pallet to attempt a 360.
So i really thought that could only be bots.
My bad.
That is just Soloq....
Edit Fixed grammar
-
Bills got that Rizz
-
Yeah, Sadako got a big nerf the safest thing to do is take a tape and all your worries leave. Even, if she hits you just pick up one tape and walk five feet to clear your condemd and get rid of two tvs...Nice.
-
Likely a cheater or using enduring. If it happened once its likely a bug. If it happened multiple times he is either cheating or had enduring likely. If no enduring he is likely cheating.
-
Just make it extend Key aura reading by 25% and grant the teammate aura key addon to any key found.
-
Yeah, hackers are much more common. And they appear more at nightime in my region more.
-
I started doing hatchet only huntress it was a lot of fun.
Obsessed pyramid Head where I can only hook or chase the obsession <use game afoot and rancor, etc.> It is really fun.
Jumpscare Singularity, Use Tinkerer, Machine Learning, Dark Devotion, and Trail of Torment. I have gotten so many gen grabs it is outrageous. Also, led to moments where I would suddenly hit someone and the would stop moving or run into a wall, Good times.
-
lightweight and Iron will, I main Rebecca so....
-
It is difficult, Console have a harder time hitting skillchecks because of framerate issues. Console also struggles with aiming, even thogh some can overcome this the lack of decent controller settings massively impact high skill aiming killers. Also, even if a select few can get around the aiming hurdles, a large majority are not that skilled. Lastly, controller gamers also struggle from bad keybinds by default, that a large majority will not even know how to change. All in all, console has it pretty bad and this is just for Xbox Series and ps5 <etc.> god save our Switch allies.
-
I remember the good old days where four gens got done in less then twenty seconds. Ah, true genrushing is really different now I rarely meet the comp squads, but god when you do you feel it.

Yeah crouch tech, I stoped playing him because most survivors did that.

The problem is that Bloodlust (and many other bandaids BHVR introduced over time) are used for things where it is not needed. If you have an unsafe Pallet, this is usually a fair Loop because both players can outplay each other. However, with Bloodlust, this is not the case anymore since the Killer will get the Hit once reaching Bloodlust 1.
There are not really any structures in the game anymore where Bloodlust is needed. Because you would either need to break the Pallet (resetting Bloodlust anyway) OR you have a fair chance of outplaying the Survivor. And if this does not work, there should be no handholding so that the Killer can catch the player who is better than them.
(Bamboozle is another example - introduced to combat strong Windows which lead to long Loops. Nowadays people use it for simple T/L-Walls which, when played correctly by the Killer, should grant a Hit anyway)
Being beaten by god windows is not skill, it is bad map design. Your statements are the same as saying the old mori were balanced because you have to hook someone once. If there were no bloodlust maps would need to be shortend so much and windows would need to be nerfed <the map windows, not the perk>. Sadly, bad map design ensures that bloodlust will remain till the end of this game.

DbD was like that before and it was not problem. It helped matchmaking as well. Whenever you see you are losing, you were going to next game.
It was a problem, I used to play and survivor queues were quick but noody could play a full game unless it was a SWF. Then the killers in those games would just leave when the game looked bad.
Killers Queues were also quick but that was when killers could switch their killer in lobby and had 1 hook Mori, anytime a killer started losing too bad they also just DCed.
Eventually, people did not DC for a while but surprisingly very few matches actually went to the end. There was almost always a DC<For the Hatch, or Killer got a bad map, or Killer downed you first, or you hit second hook etc.>. It got so bad that even when they announced DC penalties, you could literally not play the game. It was awful 2 to 5 minute queues for killer, over ten minute queues for survivor but people would DC in the first minute of the game so often no match was played.
TLDR DC penalties are a neccesary evil because you really cannot play a game without them.
-
Survivor Build I use is,
Lightweight
Iron Will
Sole Survivor or Lucky Break
Flashbang or Distortion
It helps me evade chases and get back to gens quickly. Because my teammates do not do gens.
-
@Pulsar said:
I know I'm in the minority, and perhaps it's for the best, but with the bots I don't see a need for massive DC penalties anymore.
Just wait till one or even two gens pop for a killer during their first chase or if they get a bad map. You will never be able to play a full game again.
-
Honestly, this sounds like a great killer Idea and it could have lots of cosmetics too I hope devs see this!
-
Gabe will be fine he has decent lore and cosmetics he also has really good perks for chase and looks objectively nice.
Haddie had great lore but bad or almost no cosmetics, bad meme worthy perks and was decided by the community to not be objectively attractive.
Haddie had almost nothing but lore going for her, Gabe has a lot that will make him likely to be played.

Good were the days of Ruin, BBQ and Nurse's Calling as meta.
No pain res, no undying. That was a meta I could get behind.
Ah, old bbq... I miss it always
-
Old hatch was awful, endgame builds were usless because with 1 gen left just let a guy die and no build left.
Delays were usless because a kill became a negative thing.
Fair play had no impact you would lose anyway because gens would get done or someone would die sooner or later.
It was a net loss if even 1 person had a key it was awful. Same as old moris, get hooked once and you are dead, awful.
-
For all the skins it is cheaper buying the pack because each skin costs like ten to fifteen dollars each with aurics and with the pack its around thirty dollars in my currency. If your in fear of losing the skins but can afford to spurge then buy the pack it is cheaper.
-
I used to not use addons on all my killers but then I just hit a hard celling where my killer powers were good, but not better than the tool survivors brought. I soon ended up running franklins and stressing out because my mistakes were always punished more heavily without addons. Now, I am at the point where I try not to run better then greens unless a killer needs it <Trapper and Singularity>. Currently, I recommend using addons because you can only get so good with some killers basekit power.
TLDR Use addons because you will eventually hit a hard cap of your basekit killers power.
-
Helpful tip, play Blight he is easier and more fun and does not get punished if you mess up his power.
Nurse requires a lot of Mechanical Skill and if you are on console then good luck with it.

None of those maps have true infinites. They’re just safe loops and are cluttered with obstacles (Red Forest, Toba Landing, Garden of Joy). I don’t think Eyrie really has anymore challenging loops since its redesign. Shattered Square doesn’t have gamebreaking loops either, it’s just big. It does have more deadzones than GoJ and Toba Landing though.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3476962#Comment_3476962
AFAIK they haven’t really said anything recent about Bloodlust. No one really knows why it wasn’t scrapped with infinites. Personally, I believe they keep it around as an aide for killers who aren’t good loopers. They use these events to showcase and test potential new features and with Bloodlust 1 = Exposed it’s possible they may eventually move toward removing the bloodlust mechanic as they’d said before.
Bloodlust exists because of flawed map design. Until all maps and pallets can be mindgamed with them up or down, expect bloodlust to stay. Because we have had times where bloodlust was disabled and the game was unplayable for but the big three killers.
-
They can get great value, but currently there are better addons.
Wooden Fox, allows for mindgames and is basically stealth the whole match for just one addon.
The exhaustion addon <I forget its name>, is one of the best because it shuts down some of the best perks in the game.
The extra hatchet addons, allow you to get more hits and are more forgiving for missing great for starters.
Glowing concoction, a great addon that allows for insane shots and mindgames if played right.
Iri addons, allow for fun and uniqe playstyles and can be game changing.
Recovery, while great like you mentioned, good survivors will position themselves in ways that you will only ever get the M2 and not M1. It also only helps you win more but cannot help you sneak on people, stop people from lithe away, allow you to double hit by seeing their aura mid chase, or have more hatchets for more downs. All in all, it can be good but there are often better options.
-
Trapper is likely keeping the OG chase music. And the Licensed people might need to be talked to before music happens like Velocity said.
-
Did you check your hardware sound levels, your listening equipment, the in game settings volume stuff. Try checking those, it might ust be a hardware issue.
-
What Crowman stated, it was bugged almost immediately after Demogorgons release so it is likely working as intended with the current screaming. But a Devs opinion would be nice to confirm that it is working as intended.
-
Killer perks
Oldschool Tactics, You lose the ability to gain bloodlust, but now have a permenant 7.5% haste boost. <This boost can be exceded but does not stack with speed boost below excluding Noed and two stacks of pwyf>.
Hidden Carnage, Disables the killers redstain for the remainder of the trial.
Trackers Guidance, Scratchmarks linger for 5 extra seconds and survivors who do not move for thirty seconds have scratchmarks appear near them.
Survivor perks
Makeshift pallet, You gain the ability to fix a pallet after performing a 15 second action on it.However it can only stun the killer, this pallet also cannot be used by powerstruggle. This can only be used three times a game. Basically, like event pallet but a little weaker.
Slight Repreive, You drop blood considerably less often, and can not be affected by the Hemorrhage status effects healing regression. But will drop blood at a sightly less then normal effect with hemorrhage effect.
-
@Pulsar said:
More like Hyperfocus.
Ahhhhh, the horror, 30 second Hyperfocus gens! But wait, nobody uses that perk now.
You will not always get skillchecks. However, you will eventually get injured.
Hyperfocus, is inconsistent because of skillchecks and will always be like that.
Made For This, will always get value even at its worst it just helps you run faster and is consistently good. Sometimes, it can allow you to tank hits that would lose you the game.
-
Hex plaything, good for almost every killer.
Save the Best for Last, great on M1 killers.
Shadowborn, great if you feel motion sick with current cameras.
Any aura reading perks, allow you to plan much more easily and are more forgiving.
Corrupt Intervention, great early game perk for setup or if you want to spread pressure before getting a down. Oni is an example of the latter.
Sloppy Butcher, generic perk but helps killers who spread hits to make survivors waste more time healing.
Deadlock, a great perk to know how many gens are worked on or to stall more time for a down or injure.
pop or eruption, Great perks that synergize well and reward you for decent chases a win more, kind of perks.
Generally, these perks are used by a wide array of killers but more detailed perks should be used on certain killers. Like thanatophobia on plague and Legion, etc.

He’s notified if you’re messing with the tunnels and yes he can still access them while you’re trying to get rid of them (before you finish getting rid of them).
Only while charging Of The Abyss, or if they have lifeguard whistle then it displays killer instinct. Otherwise, no notification is given.

Yup a lot of the addons are still bugged with their previous text.
Here is the list
Known Issues
- The Singularity's add-on "Nanomachine Gel" has still the old text description.
- The Singularity's add-on "Kid's Ball Glove" has still the old text description.
- The Singularity's add-on "Soma Family Photo" has still the old text description.
- The Singularity's add-on "Soma Family Photo" has an incorrect time value for the Overclock Mode. (-80% instead of -20%)
Edit l removed mention and added the patch notes

Sounds like a skill issue to me. We have to stop always blaming the console or controller.
And i play on Playstation myself.
Your right
-
If a survivor spins in a circle while the singularity is in the biopod, you will often lose sight on them breifly. This is not impactful when they are in the open, but it can matter when the difference between tagging or teleporting is literally that split moment of lost sight. Also, you do aim with this killer and his wide object hitbox can make it difficult to target the slimer survivor hitbox with his Gun.
-
Wesker is worth getting. Decent perks, Decent power, and can be lots of fun.
