Just had a killer that slugged me and followed me all 4 minutes over the map until i bleed out. The game had 4 cakes and one BPS.
The killer used anonymous mode. Thank you Mandy for not allowing any discussion why anonymous mode needs to be counterbalanced with a reputation system.

If you can't use the BT and subsequent speed boost to get to a safe loop you're probably doing something very wrong.
If you're truly concerned about it being to your detriment to take your free deliverance; simply do not do so.
not from every hook you can reach a safe loop. it depends on map, rng and how many survivor resources are left. blanket statements like yours are useless.

my guess is, that a lot of ppl are now in the red ranks and its easy to lose a pip there but hard to get one.

The simple anwer is no.
Mandy stated that the following things are not breaking game rules and therefore have to accepted by all players:
- slugging and humping that person
- facecamping with hook slapping while nodding
- survivor unhook spamming
- sandbagging
- bodyblocking

despite daily login i only got the deathslinger outfit so far. some in this thread seem to have the same problem.

a lot of the bad vibes here on the forums come from players creating an echo chamber. because the developer almost never explains his point of view or enters into a dialogue with the players. a lot could be explained with data that players don't have access to. mmr system, i'm looking at you.
the main task of the moderators is to move, delete and censor posts. the community managers only answer hand-picked questions that have no relation to the current game and its state.
that's why the players feel ignored and every time a player is bothered by something a new thread is opened. because in the old ones there was never an answer to their problems.
ps: also the search in the forum is a horror. seriously.

You are absolutely right. The choice of the devs to prioritize time over quantity is the problem.
They should add a small slider over the find match button where you can select if you want it to find a match fast with a wide spread mmr range or find a match with people who are close to your mmr.

I love it when you unhook someone successfully and than the killer grabs you and hooks you on the same hook you just cleared. Guess that's a gaming chair issue.

Because high ping players don't control what server they get matched to, they have no idea that their ping is high until the game actually starts and this has absolutely nothing to do with Q&As as a whole or why they aren't done anymore.
this is a question i would ask in the Q&A. i dont blame the people and you see if your ping is over 300 when you join the lobby. also that dont answer the question why the server allows ppl with ping over 300 to start a game.

the problem occurs sporadically. This morning I already had the error once and had Steam validate the files several times until it worked. after that i could play.
After a break I wanted to start the game again and got the same error again. After restarting the game three times it suddenly works. I have not validated this time.

My ping gone from 30-40ms to 70-80ms after the 6.7.1 patch.

Search a save spot on the mapafter the game, go to the support form and write a ticket, make sure you choose feedback - character balance as contact reason and tell the developer that you dont enjoy this situation. -
