You have to be a really bad killer to chase 1 survivor all game. That or your so triggered you just snapped.
-
Your just going through the evolution of being a killer main. Soon you will stop caring so much. It takes awhile to learn that you are here to entertain the survivor's. Once you can accept that cold hard truth. You will approach the game differently.
-
It varies depending on the skill level of the team, the map, and what killer I'm playing. Sometimes a 2K with clown on Haddonfield feels better than a 4k with Spirit.
-
Campers
-
I would go for it if BBQ becomes base kit for all killers.
-
They should just make hook progression stop when a killer is around the hook and no survivor is in the area.
-
There is a ton of Ebony moris in bloodwebs. Obviously the devs want them in the game.

On spread out maps with gen speeds the way they are, the only way to rank up is to start the match with a three gen in mind and patrol it the entire game. Usually a couple survivors will spawn in your territory so you can chase them and proxy camp to draw more people into your area so you don't have to leave it unguarded.
You literally shouldn't bother with far away generators and give the survivors them for free. Just three gen. It's the only way to rank up on mid/low tier killers at high ranks because there's no way to control all the generators.
No doubt. You have to have a plan from the beginning. Not always 3 gens. But with RNG sometimes you take what you can get. If your a killer without a plan. You need Potatoes!

The stats say 4 man SWF has a survival rate just under 50%. Are you upset bc swf means you gotta work hard to get a 4k stomp?
Where did you find that? Was that console,pc. Or both?

Well, how about playing the game properly like other players can do? No? Thats sad.
People like you are what's wrong with this game. You obviously cant read. You dont contribute to any meaningful conversation. Offer nothing positive to the community. Just the same old toxic BS post after post.

What annoys me is that I will see killers try to play nice as a survivor at times. Many, many times, the killer could go for me, I'm injured, out in the open, already been hooked once, sometimes twice, and the killer doesn't go for me, they try to go for someone else.
Then they get punished for their generosity, and then the other survivors t-bag or click their flashlights at the exit gates, or complain that the killer had NOED. They literally expect the killer to ignore them, and yet boast when they win.
And then many survivors wonder why many killers slug, camp and/or tunnel now.
Boggles my mind, it does.
That's a fact! Survivors dont care that your playing the game in the way that gives them the opportunity to enjoy the game and pip.
Thanks for not camping, tunneling, or slugging. Here is some t bags to show my appreciation.

if this isnt the way you want to play the game, you should play the game this way even if it seems like its impossible in any other way.
I also was a Survivor main for over a year but i am getting a Killer main more n more.
I dont camp and i always try to not tunnel. Sometimes i slug if i see someone else but not just to look for someone else. I still get almost everygame 3-4 kills and i have many perfect games. (Red ranks btw)
I know some matches can be really frustrating but dont give up. Just try your best. Play however you want and how its the most fun for you.
I play at red ranks myself and I dont even 2K when I play fair. Not even close. I'm in awe that you 3-4K almost every game playing it straight up. I just find that gens go so quick. By the time I chase down and hook each survivor once there is normally just 1 maybe 2 gens left.
I would love to play the game the way it is most fun for me. Unfortunately, the way I want to play is not fun anymore because I'm getting my teeth kicked in constantly.
I can destroy survivors If I camp, tunnel, or slug. But I just dont get any enjoyment out of the game that way.
At the end of the day I really love this game. I just feel like I'm being forced to play like a douche or accept the fact that I'm going to be t bagged by 3 survivors at the exit gates.

I always seem to choose the toughest path. IRL and the fog.
-
Is that escapes or pips?
-
I can think of lots of things that are unhealthy for the game. Deathslinger is not one of them.

I've been 4king with him since release not sure what you're talking about.
What rank are you?

Join the killer ranks. There is definitely a shortage of us. I guarantee that after a couple of weeks playing killer. You will find playing survivor fun again.
-
How much $ did DBD make last year?
-
I don't think it's an automatic win. I didn't say that.
You seem to be under the impression. That chasing down a survivor, hitting him twice, hooking, camping , tunneling , and finishing him with mori. Is somehow not as hard as holding M1 on a gen. I disagree.
I dont hate keys because of 4 man escapes. I hate keys because they seem to always belong to the survivor who does nothing. Just hiding and waiting on a teammate to die. So they can hit the hatch.
The devs wouldn't put the items in our bloodwebs if they didnt want us to use them obviously.
But if the community ever wanted to give up keys and Ebony mori's. I would be okay with that.
-
Sad thing is you won't see him in 6 months. I think he is fun to play but just not viable in competitive matches on the bigger maps.
-
They dont want survivors to sit in Q's for 30 minutes. It seems there comes a point where the MM system says......... F it! Good luck.
-
I would gladly give up Ebony Mori in return for the key being gone.
Let's make it happen!

My general rule of thumb is when a survivor is within sight of me when I down someone, if I think I can down them before the person on the ground gets picked up, I will slug. Slugging is the best game delay the killer has, and learning when to slug IMO is one of the most valuable skills a killer can learn. Leaving one person slugged and chasing the close by survivor takes the number of possible players on a gen from 3 to 1.
I agree. As I said above. You have to slug to turn the tide of the game sometimes.
If your always slugging and leaving them on ground for long periods of time. I think that goes into toxicity and not strategy.
-
Survivors belong on hooks. Not on the ground. You have to slug to turn the tide sometimes. If survivors want to stay around me injured, while their teammate is down. Sure, I will hit them. But I cant think of any reason a survivor should be on the ground longer than a minute. Unless a killer is being toxic or cant find where they crawled off to.
DS should deactivate after a killer has hooked another survivor. 1 minute is a long time in the current state of dbd to be invincible.
-
Why would we make changes to the most balanced killer in the game?
People just want EZ escapes I guess.
Let's just nerf Billy so we can play against Freddy, Doc, and Spirit every game at red ranks. That sounds fun.
-
I'm amazed that people are shocked at the tool box changes.
One day after the ruin change. Every lobby was stacked full of tool boxes. Games were flying by and Not just because of the ruin change. People decided to take advantage of the ruin change and really bang out gens early.
The changes to tool boxes are a direct result of that.
Sabo can be taken advantage of by the killer most of the time. I have had just one good team run the strat against me so far. Takes comms to be truly taken advantage of by survivors.
-
He needs nothing right now. It's way to early to tweak him.
He is definitely not for me. But for those that can hit their shots. He could be viable.
-
I have named him shut the [BAD WORD] up!
-
I have only ran into twice so far.
One squad was awful at it. They just kept feeding me. They gave up eventually.
The other squad abused me to the point I just gave up. Not much I could do to stop them. Very well coordinated team. I just circled the map until the nightmare was over.

If anyone plays that well it should be physically impossible to depip at the very least but no. Why!?!
No one is going to pip in that scenario very often. You, your teammates, or the killer.
-
I bought it 2 hours ago. No Issues.
-
Well that's disappointing. I was hoping Hang mans trick would stay the same if they were going to keep saboteur the same.
Killer mains...the red headed step child of dbd.
-
Eat is early slug it late.
-
Will see what happens if it goes live. I'm hoping at least changes were made to it. I have enough challenges playing killer.
-
Congrats!

why all red rank killer camping and why developer cant do anitihng about this campers
The emblem system really punishes the camping style. Killers that are always camping just cant pip in the red ranks enough. You sure you dont mean green?
-
This whole thread is bait and BS!
Entertaining at times. Carry on!
-
I'm still playing. I just dont play as much as I use to. I know a lot of killers who went from playing almost everyday to a couple of times a week.
-
The killers job is to entertain and make sure survivors have the opportunity to pip.
As a red rank killer that's what the emblem system has taught me anyway.
-
The community. The way we treat each other and lack of empathy for the other side.
-
As a killer, Nea or David are the two that I just dont like seeing in my lobbies. They can loop or play stealth. I always feel like its pick your poison with them.
The playful Kate's and Dwight's are my favorite. Watching them disappear down the hatch doesn't hurt as much.
-
DC penalties are a must in the game. People need to be held accountable for their behavior or crappy internet. Both hurt the game for those of us out here just trying to play.
-
What rank are you?
-
Go back and pick it up.
-
I completely understand why SWF cant be removed from the game. From a business point of view, it's a no brainer. $$$
I have more fun playing with friends in any game. The interactions with friends while playing dbd are by far the best moments I have had playing as a survivor in this game.
As a killer main SWF is busted at the red ranks. Great Solo survivors are the most skilled players in this game. They give me all I can handle. Yet the majority of their SWF counter parts escape far more often but dont hold a candle to solo in terms of true game skill. Even a SWF duo with 2 solos tips the balance.
Time and mistakes are the deciding factor in the outcome of this game. As with anything in life , the better the communication and coordination. The better your results will be at achieving your task. As well as greatly reducing MISTAKES while performing the task.
I dont care what solution the community or devs decide is best to address this issue. I just hope it is addressed sometime this year.
-
Congrats you have shown you can sink to the level of those you despise. Great post!
-
Surveillance + PGTW. This combo has really put in work for me.
-
It's so frustrating! I don't even go for the gen grab anymore. I just try and make sure I get the hit.
-
If thats the criteria then nerf survivors. They are No Fun to play against.
