Question about MMR matchmaking
I remember there being old talks about having different rank with new killers(or in this case skill level) so you could be able to play killers you dont really know with people of equal skill. Is this still planned?

I believe it's still an idea they're looking into, but there's no guarantee it's going to be implemented alongside the MMR system. According to the original post they made detailing the changes, they plan to expand the system in the future to include things like unique ranks for each killer, which implies that it won't be a feature initially. We haven't received any further information about it since then, so it's safe to assume it's still part of the plan, we just don't know exactly when it will come to fruition.
Is there even a timeline to release MMR?!? It seems like it was talked about and then just meh... deal with rank 1 vs rank 15 games because a fix is coming “eventually.”
There's no timeline, because they don't like to announce dates until they're on the point of release to avoid disappointment. The announcement post was essentially just a confirmation that the feature was far enough through development that it would definitely be going live at some point.
They did say that the first step would be testing the MMR rating system on its own without using it for matchmaking, and then once they're satisfied that it's working correctly, they would replace the current matchmaking system. It seems likely to me that that first step is the one they're working on right now, and we just can't see anything happening because it's all being tested and worked on behind the scenes.
I almost wonder if it’s semi-implemented? I see a lot of games with a rank 10 killer agajnst a rank 3, 4, 13 and 18 survivor I’m sooo red and i ask we aren’t SWF.
This may be their idea that 2 bad plus 2 good against an mediocre killer is fair
That's been going on for ages due to a bug in the matchmaking system. It's not intentional. I can't say that they haven't updated the system with absolute certainty because I'm not a dev, but there's no reason to believe that that's the new system at work and not just the buggy old system doing what it does.
Remember when they strictly said you weren't going to be facing ranks higher than you?

They dont want survivors to sit in Q's for 30 minutes. It seems there comes a point where the MM system says......... F it! Good luck.
