Not even remotely scary once you learn the game. When you are running a killer in circles around a loop you realize how comical it really is.
-
People thinking he gives a crap if he used moris and best add ons when he just wanted to dumpster a toxic SWF. Nah, I bet he feels pretty damn good and I feel pretty good seeing their hook offerings and toolboxes + key did them no good.
-
I had a guy DC after I downed him over the fence. Sorry you have to keep a safe distance over these outrageously long and safe fences.
-
It should be as simple as changing a few numbers. Probably a bit more with the iridescent bug considering spaghetti code but still, needing until next week is just...no words. On top of announcing a time and then not only failing to meet it but not saying anything until hours later. This is why they get their reputation. Don't get me wrong, I've seen worse devs but BHVR is still quite low on the list.
-
How hard is it to change a few numbers? Spaghetti strikes again.
-
Slugging is hardly a counter, they just get picked up for free by their teammates thus avoiding getting hooked. Sounds like the perk did it's job, just in a different way. Still, given how BS the perk is, it's about all that can be done ever since they ruined enduring.
-
This is the reason I was against battle passes, they always end up ruining the normalcy of the game with their stupid challenges and time frames.
-
Misusing statistics 101
-
Survivors do this too. Don't get me wrong, DS is a straight BS perk but killers aren't the only ones playing around perks.
-
Sorry but nah, justified.
-
Honestly she just needs an add-on rework, so many of them are just unusable.
-
Not really, but they have their place. If I see a SWF load in and they're bringing 4 addons and at least 2 are toolboxes I'm bringing at least a green but definitely an ebony if there are 3 or more.

I don't think you actually read the thread, it's not about her being powerful, it's about the fun aspect. People are saying that they don't find the guessing part fun. The examples you listed all have counterplay; you see them do something, you react, your reaction is what determines if you get hit or not. The Spirit doesn't have that, you guess and hope she misses.
To give the examples you gave really just shows that you haven't read the thread.
Cool. So are you going to make it so killers don't have to guess whether every survivor has DS whenever there is an obsession in the game?
-
Just rebuff Enduring. It was the only thing keeping DS in check.
-
There's nothing wrong with being competitive, just don't be a dick about it.
-
I'll do a single bag to say thanks to a survivor. I don't teabag killers, I don't care what they do, killer is stressful as hell and doesn't need that.
-
They're fine, fix the annoying click spam though.
-
I like stealthy killers so Wraith, Myers, and Pig.
-
I agree. At least Freddy gets a free hit, Leatherface is just an M1 killer against good survivors. His chainsaw is also terrible without addons which even okay survivors could avoid. But at least Leatherface can't have his targets unhooked right in front of him.

Legion's entire class ruined countless peoples dbd experience for -half a year- till their long overdue nerf landed.
Ash is out a little over a month before the hordes of Killer fanboi's /cry their corrosive radioactive, acid infused tears of necrotic rage cancer enduing misery to get Ash's one good perk nerfed into hyper situational dusty shelf extinction.
Yeah.
And Decisive strike ruined countless experiences for over 2 years before it was finally changed, but sure make this about killer vs survivor like a typical main who only plays one side.
-
You can screw up or bait a dead hard, show me how you screw up or bait MoM.
-
It's a buff for Enduring + Spirit Fury, which is the only time I ever see it since DS nerf.
-
Better question, why does the perk proc at the end of the animation? I've seen more people get grabbed out of the animation than actually get stuns.
-
I'm Devotion 2, 50ish levels into it and I'm STILL leveling killers. I've pretty much drained all my decent addons at this point. Acquiring perks really needs to change, I'd like to go back and go through my bloodweb for addons instead of having to play a streamers amount of time just to finally stop worrying about grinding for perks.
-
The grind is out of control, I can't recommend this to friends when new players have to struggle through a crazy grind.
-
This feels so rushed. Instead of testing them in parts until they found a good balance it feels like they just threw every idea together and called it a day. His power is so useless now, it's so punishing for no reason because it never feels like you get any real payoff with it.
-
Can't nerf Billy, he's one of the few killers who can actually get the job done at high ranks. He ain't balanced, but balanced doesn't get the job done there.
-
I run ruin, gens finish too fast without it and I hate NOED so I'd never run it. I'd try Pop Goes the Weasel but seeing as how I would have to level Clown and then get lucky with the bloodweb, I think I'll stick with ruin.
-
Took a weak killer, made her weaker, didn't compensate her elsewhere.

If you think moonwalking is an exploit, crouching with pig to break the chase and trigger reverse trap is exploit too?
Technically yeah, but Pig barely has situations where that becomes abusable because trap activation and timers are not even close to the levels of Legions bleedout timer.
-
Basically. I get instant lobbies as killer but sometimes I have to wait 10+ minutes for a lobby as a solo survivor.
-
Game is better balance wise. MoM is not as bad as old D Strike, lots of perks became way more usable at rank 1. That's not all there is to the game though. Old bugs still present. The community is worse than ever, I see more games with toxic individuals than not. I had a DC in 9/10 games yesterday. Matchmaking is still matchmaking, instant killer lobbies on PS4 and I had to wait 20 minutes for a game as solo survivor.
There is still a lot that can be improved.
-
I don't. It just draws things out and I don't mind if the last guy finds the hatch before I can finish him off. I've been the slugged guy too, it's boring sitting there.
-
Playing survivor the entire event, not dependent on envelopes and it's a lot easier doing 5 gens and possibly getting a lantern than 3 hooking everyone and still having time to destroy 7 lanterns assuming everyone burned an offering. Would be a little better for killer if it was points per hook phase, ie a survivor suicides on hook and you don't miss out on points.
-
I don't know how people can say there aren't enough killers, I was getting INSTANT lobbies as solo survivor about a month ago (before, during, and even for a bit after the event). You don't lose THAT many killers out of nowhere, it has to be the matchmaking changes slowing things down.
-
You guys are overestimating how many killers are willing to give up all their BP just to spite someone.
-
It should not takes minutes to find a game as solo survivor, there's really no excuse. It was nearly instant about a month ago.
-
Imagine actually suggesting calm spirit. It's a useless perk outside of 2 what-if situations, this being one of them. Crows shouldn't spawn within proximity of a gen, kinda like the totem problem.
-
Funny thing is I was getting nearly instant lobbies as survivor on PS4 until recently (with appropriately ranked players), I'm assuming the matchmaking change went through and made things like this.
-
I honestly think the devs just have no clue what to do with her and they would rather leave something in a bad state unless they have a perfect solution, hence why we still have perks like decisive strike after so long.
-
People who derank mess things up for the players who actually belong to the ranks that people are deranking to. There should be something more punishing in place for people who repeatedly derank, but more than that there should be an incentive to higher ranks.
-
Nurse is pretty much unanimously agreed to be the best killer ignoring multiple game mechanics, still got people defending her. Amazing. Sure if you get Lerys you probably have a chance but on most maps, Nurse players losing is a result of outplaying themselves.
-
I haven't played in a while to be honest. I'll play during the next event but I haven't been playing during my downtime. Hopefully someone at BHVR is brushing up on their programming, console has more than enough power to run this at 60fps it just needs someone who can bring the game to normal standards.
-
I've tried farming with both, still find Doc to be better at it. Legion does what you say but find he struggles to get decent hook points and sometimes all her barbeque stacks.
-
Killer basically gets all his points from trying to down survivors which is a singular task, survivors have to juggle 3 different tasks to get points and doing one means you're not gaining in the others. Besides that, there is no good way to gain survival points except escaping, there definitely needs to be less emphasize on that and more on actually having ways to steadily gain them.
-
It's awful. The one time it happened to me I got away easily because 15 seconds is barely enough time for the killer to even come back. I don't even know how people can argue otherwise, this is how terrible perks remain terrible.
-
I think every killer hates it. Huge, tons of good loops, cornfields.
