If you remove the P100 they won't stop saying you're crap. They'll just say it in another way.

I say the best addons/items are mostly green.
-
The fact that this can still happen with dedicated servers after all these years is disappointing. Anything short of canceling the match and the immediate ban of the killer should be a crime.
-
Killer is not a hive mind and we all don't think like crazy people. Play who you want to play as.
-
All her addons suck. It's because every decent addon gets crucified by an unrelenting mob whose true goal is to make Nurse not playable. Another reason why I don't run addons on any killer. Anything decent is immediatly deleted because, I lost must because of this addon or this perk or this killer.
I swear you all put forward any excuse as to why you lose besides yourselves.
-
So we shoud sacrifice players freedom to choose the character and perks they most want to play with so we can satisfy your desire for role play?
-
@radiantHero23 said:
Why is using something already abusing it?
Because this is dbd.

You can turn a good Billy into a M1 killer if you know what you are doing.
-
The game is client-server based so the only way to play with other players is to connect to a server. Take a look at where BHVR host their servers. They're not near everyone. +100ms is not uncommon for most players.

Yes, last resort.
It's something you can use but should never be your first call, because the other options are so much more effective and less time consuming on average that you're really leaving value on the table if you choose to patrol generators instead.
Any generator you walk to that does not result in a chase is more time you're spending without pressuring survivors, and survivors who aren't being pressured are more than likely going to do generators. Patrolling generators is a good way to lose against halfway efficient teams.
If you have no other information, patrolling generators is a good last resort, but in those scenarios you should really be asking yourself what you could've done/brought to have information at the time you needed it.
What is the first call? Besides using certain perks, what are you suggesting the killer to do? By do, I want to know your plan at the match start. What are you doing besides going towards a gen?
-
Survivors repair gens.
Killers need to find survivors.
Where are survivors? Oh yeah, near gens.
Go gen to gen to find survivors.
Don't read more into tooltips other than they state the obvious.

Now thinking of that… makes sense.
Aura perks are the most affected by this.
So we make them not work with her by adding total blindness in her Fatigue?https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3842596#Comment_3842596
C'mon man.
You're smart. You understood the point.😁I understand your type are never satisfied.

Premise:
why years pass and almost every killer receive nerfs and Nurse is basically untouched in all DbD history
Reality:
Give me back 2016 Nurse then. There's no differece right?
The premise of this thread is bogus.
-
You have a class that gives 5% per survivor bonus to gen progression.
4x guide survivors repair a gen. +5% per nearby survivor is a +15% each for the next gen they touch. All four jump on the next gen a it's 60% complete off the bat. Not to bring up the 8% repair speed bonus they can get.
-
First it was hostage taking now it's hijacking.
-
It's about 3x the match time.
-
I would rather have the old 2v8 Billy over the current 2v8 Billy. The speed and turn rate was much nicer before.
-
When completing a generator, gain a 5% charge per Survivor nearby. The next time you work on a generator, those charges are immediately applied to the generator.
This is crazy.

Thats some really bs, why would they change it?
because a survivor could be going for a last second save with the killer closing in and the cage goes to the other side of the map killing the survivor.
-
@MechWarrior3 said:
At least cages move if the killer is too close. At least thats what happened to me when I blinked on top of a cage.
They changed it. The cage won't move if a survivor is near the cage.
-
How did the 4xSWF rate your match verse the ones after?
-
Ignore the wall of text. Always save the survivor who are trying to end it.
Killers. If you find a survivor like this, make sure they survive as long as possible. Don't kill them until they can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
-
polarized glass
-
Survivors have made solo unfun to play.
-
I remember a time when slugging for the 4k wasn't a thing.
🤔
On second thought, having a hard time remembering when that was.
-
Well, they weren't the worst at release. Just like any other "good" addon.
-
Make it a highlight and laugh at them.
-
Bots knowing where you are will always try to be opposite of the killer. This is fine with low wall loops with a killer that can hit over walls. With all other killers, don't bother mindgaming. You can't mindgame something with no mind.
-
If survivors are sweating I'm going to play at their level. Otherwise I'm going for 8 hooks during an event.
Even while playing for 8 hooks I have survivors giving up on first hook. Playing as Huntress during the event.
-
Imagine 4k hours down the drain for cosmetics.
-
Does the survivor stop moving too?

Nope, they'll be on the chopping block because no one is using Distortion now. Distortion would have held aura reading back a bit but now those perks will be getting more successful results and BHVR would see that in their stats. I said when Distortion was nerfed that people need to be careful what they wish for because the end result will be aura reading on the chopping block next. And here we are.
True

Killswitch is for game breaking bugs. Not normal bhvr'd jank.

@Hannacia said:
Not sure why they had to buff distortion again. That perk was perfect as it was. Also why machine learning? I saw that perk ONCE in my matches… We all know predator got nerfed due to Nurse again… wee..
Aura perks are on the chopping block because survivors sucessfully killed off all other chase and regress perks. Don't blame any one killer when any perk used too often is immediately in the scope of mob.

but the Dracula one is worrying, hope they won't give him the Skull Merchant treatment
Nah. He is currently overtuned, they buffed him a bit too much. You can expect some minor Nerfs.
(But I also have to agree with OP - as long as Nurse exist, evey Killer-Nerf is a joke)
Yet every killer buff is instantly vilified and overtuned.
-
Like any deep wound changes, it's probably in line with planned Legion changes.
Otherwise they souldn't be trying to fix something that isn't broke.
-
Expect minimal changes to killers that were listed as other.

@AmpersandUnderscore said:
The "rulebooks" existed for both killers and survivors when the game launched. And the community was small enough it was generally self managing to prevent "rulebreaking" behavior.
Killers weren't supposed to block the only unhook spot (og face camping), not tunnel, not excessively slug, not bring the mori that didn't even require hooks (you died on first down).
Survivors, in turn, weren't supposed to run actual infinite loops, sabo hooks permanently, use the BNP that instantly completed any gen from 0.
If you notice, almost all of the "survivor rules" were deleted or made base kit so long ago that almost no one remembers they even existed. Meanwhile, after 8 years you can still camp hooks, just have to be 11m away. Oh no, the horror.
I started playing Dec 2016. Had the rule breakers taken over by then because everything you just list was common and unabashed.

On one hand I do like knowing if I'm against a streamer so I can lookup their stream later (though this could be solved just by checking the end-game names). Though I can see how that could backfire if people wanted to streamsnipe.
I can imagine that possibly some solos/groups seeing a streamers name in the lobby could be a catalyst for those other survivors to join in on the stream/chat before and during the match.
It would be nice if most of the cards were on the table at the start of the match: Killer chosen/name/Survivors/names (though with lobby dodging penalties upon leaving a lobby. Maybe more lenient).
But if we're still hiding the Killer and their name from survivors, I don't see why the same can't be applied to Killers not seeing the names of survivors.
If you really want to see lobby shopping in action, give survivors the ability to know what killer they are facing.

First hide offerings (even though that was something asked of way before this whole idea of hiding was widely spoken over) don't forget
Hiding offerings came from the killer side due to survivors DCing when a mori popped up. Ironic considering this thread.

flashbang lose lose is no matter what you do you get blinded
wglf lose lose is it immediately lose pressure in seconds
That would be a win-win to survivors.
Lose lose would be towards the killer.
-
Yep, this was the next step after hiding prestige. Next you will want default cosmetics until the match starts.
The incremental regress to no lobby continues.

Like, literally, just do a match, and then… spend BP on the "Play" queue screen?
The whole UI is sped up for a minute or so. Not a solution just an explanation.
-
They sure took an axe to this perk when it didn't really deserve it.

Hiding your aura isnt helpful anymore when I can just see your scratchmarks on the other side of the map.
Current Distortion hides Scratchmarks… I dont know why people forget that Distortion does this?
Only when the aura is blocked. 🙂

Skull Merchant got nuked, not nerfed. With the power getting eventually reworked anyway and the few people playing her wanting to leave, why won't we just remove her, rebuild her from the ground up with a new power, lore and cosmetics and then return her back.
Doesn't matter. The exception now is the rule later.
-
The glitch out on solution 1 happens right after a match. Been like that for some time.
