It's a very fun mechanic imo. It makes you use different perks and change your playstyle a bit. Also gives you bonus bloodpoints. There are of course some quests that are absolutely horrendous but you can usually just leave them for last
-
"Boohoo I camped and tunneled and survivors called me out on it". Seriously dude? It seems like you can't even camp and tunnel well enough if you got 0 kills. You not being able to find survivors (which is very easy + PH's torment trail helps in tracking) does not give you an excuse to play like an ass.

Yes. Wearing a bugged cosmetic will definietly grant you a permament ban, You will also be tortured and face the death penalty by firing squad
-
I think charms are pretty cool, especially the ones that fit the lore or those you get at the end of the rift. It's good that they added them, a little more customization is always great. However they should really stop making the ones where they just recolor the same picture on a square like 4-5 times, that's just stupid and makes the charm list very messy.
-
I wonder what kind of spaghetti code do they even have, if changing two killers' powers compeletly breaks and bugs another unassociated killer. Pretty weird.
-
Go on ormond. Try to see any auras there. Good luck
-
Yes, let's make it so that survivors also automatically start on the hook at the begnining of the match. They have to kobe first to play the game. Sounds balanced to me. The only thing "needed" is a gen slowdown until the first chase or for one minute.
-
It's the equivalent of bringing keys as a survivor. "What if the killer tunnels hard and is toxic?" Both moris and keys are mechanics that give a stupidly big advantage to one of the sides and makes the matches unfun (at least for one side). That's why they need to be adjusted and balanced correctly - for example you can mori only on death hook and opening the hatch with a key takes 10 seconds and only one person can escape per a key. Then these complaints will not be an issue anymore.
-
Put Ace on the God Tier. Never mess with an Ace.
-
You do realise there are so many other variables and it's not just "oh survivors work on gens, this is so unfair"? There are different killer powers that are meant to help you control survivors. For example Legion can injure all 4 easily, stealth killers can apply a hit&hide strategy and there are a ton of other powers and slowdown perks. Also if you decide to chase good survivors around good loops and lose 3 gens because of that, it's all entirely on you. You should just know when to quit chasing. Of course SWF can be compeletly busted but it's like only the top 0,1% of players that do what you described.

As if showing who's in a swf would change anything. If a killer REALLY does not like swfs (on PC at least) they can just check the steam profile to check if that person is solo or not.
-
What the hell? Exhaustion perks are bad now? Very well then, all killers with slowdown perks be like "NOOOOOO YoU cAN'T FiniSH thE gEN rigHT in FrONt Of ME uR SuppoSEd to LeT me KiCK iT wiTH POOOOOOP"
-
Jesus, why do people think Lucky Break would be OP? Even after the buff, it would still be miles worse than Iron Will and the " op combo" of these two perks used together would work around 5% of the time because scratchmarks are a thing...
-
Why use alert when you can use 4 second-chance perks? Unfortunately Alert will be far away from the meta, even after the update.
-
The simplest solution is still just showing who is in a SWF in a lobby. That's more than enough. Some SWFs are not even playing on comms - players should not be punished for playing with friends

Nea because she can just hold m1 on a generator.
Exactly, nea starts gen-rushing with Brand New Parts which causes all the other killers to DC, leaving her to win

The thing is, the game is very badly balanced, and in most games either the killer kills 4 people or 4 survivors escape (or 3 because of hatch/camping). If the killer gets a kill early, taking care of only 3 survivors is very easy, that's why tunneling is so powerful and grants the killer an easy 4k. The case where where two survivors escape and two get sacrificed is very rare, at least from my experience.

I think he doesn't need new chase music. He's one of the 3 original killers, so it's most fitting that they leave the original chase music for him
-
People who say they are disgusted by plague are weird. I have emetophobia in real life and I don't have any problems playing as or against plague ;/ I think people don't use her as much because new players make the mistake of not taking advantage of corrupt fountains and then thinking she's weak
-
Sure! There are many fan-made chase music videos on youtube which would match killers perfectly. The devs should give new chase themes to all killers except maybe the original 3. That's why I was kind of dissapointed that bubba has no new chase music in the PTB.
-
It would look really cool, but killers depend on sound made by survivors, and rain or thunder might be too loud. If they added an option to turn off weather sounds, it would be an awesome addition

Strong killers are balanced because the game overall is survivor sided. Vs strong survivors, only very strong killers suffice. Myers is balanced vs weaker survivors. Outside of that he loses multiple gens to split pressure just to become an M1 killer. He's a killer almost solely dependent on survivor mistakes when you go up against people who can do things like looping you infinitely around a rock in T1 while denying Stalk and split up vs T3.
It makes him a version of Oni that trades a metric ton of snowball for a pound of stealth, and it's not a good trade for him.
Sure, I agree - at red ranks it's awful to play as a weaker killer. Balancing has to be done around average players however. If you notice, the 4 best killers in the game (spirit, nurse, billy and freddy) have powers related both to mobility and chasing. Nurse and Spirit take a lot of time to learn. Billy and Freddy however, have very simple powers and an average player will nearly always win against average survivors as these two. It's as simple as that. I have to say that they compeletly butchered him in the PTB, but he was in no means balanced before that.
-
There's also this bug (feature?) where if you t-bag while pointing your character will get a spasm, right? Well, it only doesn't work on Dwight. a bit weird
-
I don't understand why people say billy was "the most balanced killer". He had ridiculous mobility and an ability to insta down - the two abilities that are the most helpful to killers. He also had insta-saw addons, which was the most broken thing in the game (not even ultra rare addons). Otherwise, I would agree that Michael is very balanced. I also think Plague is there too - if the survivors decide to cleanse, you have a powerful weapon. If they don't, they are loud and go down in one hit and you still have one corrupt fountain.
-
The main saloon is a god loop if you know how to run it. To negate it, the killer has to waste a lot of time to destroy all the walls there. I agree that it is a little killer-sided, but if the devs decide to rework it, they must rework maps like Mother's Dwelling or Blood Lodge to make them more balanced, too.
-
They need to make a M1 cooldown, something like 60 seconds I think. I think it's op that killers can just injure survivors right away just like that. also nerf pig

Why? If you want to keep your items just don't prestige.
What if I want a prestige cosmetic? Should I sacrifice items I will never be able to get again because of a stupid mechanic?

I fully understand running NOED on weak killers like clown, trapper or wraith. It is a sort of compensation for their weak power and in many cases these killers will reach the endgame collapse. There is nothing more annoying for me though when a killer with a good power (for example spirit) does really bad during the match, gets like 1-2 hooks throughout the game and then suddenly gets a 3k just because of a perk. It's the equivalent of a full team of DS/Unbreakable imo. And to anyone who says "just do totems and don't genrush" - there is no way of knowing if the killer runs NOED in the first place, if you're playing solo you have to waste a perk slot for Detective's Hunch (if you even have it) plus on some maps it's straight up impossible to find all totems (Hawkins, Lery's?)
-
I mean you could say Ghostface also can't be taken seriously because apart from the first movie the Scream franchise is more of a comedy than a horror. There's also the Scary Movie where he is just a joke of a killer. Yet still, he manages to be one of the scariest killers in dbd. It's not about how scary they are in the original movie/game, it's about how scary they are in dbd.
-
No. It is not fine to like and play easy killers. If you play them you will be executed by firing squad immiedately.
-
Hillbilly? Are you kidding? Get a red rank hillbilly with an insta saw (brown and yellow addon btw) and your team gets obliterated within the first 2 minutes of the game. Not very fun.
-
Personally, the "hook x survivors during the endgame collapse" is just a middle finger to us. You either have to sweat to find the hatch if you kill everyone to get only 1 kill to the challenge, or you have to patiently wait until survivors complete 5 gens so you can use noed and blood warden and even then it's not entirely possible. Also, 15 hatchets in one game. #########.
-
Has to be a bug, especially comparing this event to the Halloween one, where there were 2 event flashlights AND medkits per bloodweb.
-
The big difference is that if you use a mori, it's gone forever. If you go into the match with a key, you don't even have to use it, you can escape with it through the gate and be able to use it in the next match. Also if you use plunderers you can get more keys from the matches themselves so it's balanced as it is.
-
As if anyone using claudette would wear these cosmetics - they all use P3 or darkest clothing possible, not flashing outfits like this :/

It also affects chance of getting rare items from chests . It's not horrible when 4 people stack up the ante and luck offerings .
I thought so too at first, but the fact is luck does not affect chest item rarity. Stupid, isn't it? And even if it did, putting on Plunderer's is much easier and gives you more information.
