Stronger and also way more fun. Being able to use your power more is always gonna be more fun.
-
MedKit with Bandages and Butterfly Tape. In case of Botany, I can still heal once thanks to the Bandages.
-
-
They somehow managed to buff the Commodious Toolbox, which needs a nerf and not a buff.
I wouldn't mind them buffing sabo but they should've nerfed the repair boost across all Toolboxes.
Alex's Toolbox might be busted now with 100 %, and 50 % was already extremely strong, and the Commodious (the best Toolbox) now has those 50 %.
-
It's a start. But I'd much rather enjoy if it randomized character, Perks, Items/Add-ons and Offerings for a true "random" experience, and you can see what you got once you have entered the Trial.
-
I got spawned with no Perks at all just now. Not sure if it's a bug or just a low probability xD

Are you playing as The Hillbilly?
No but I played against a Hillbilly. And the crash during the loading screen.. idk, game just froze and nothing happened.
-
Yes, but the game still keeps crashing.. making me lose all progress I earned during the game, and sometimes during the loading screen.
-
It's funny how they initially nerfed Pop to 20 % current from 25 % total progress and no one used it. So they buffed it to 30 %, and it helped.. because the Perk was popular again.. perhaps a bit overtuned.
So instead of using the middle ground of both versions they decided to nerf the Perk to it's initial state where no one used it. Seems really smart.
-
Decisive, Dead Hard or any Exhaustion Perk which gives distance, Plot Twist/Unbreakable, Kindred/Bond.
-
This needs to make a return.
-
2016 dbd with Ultra Rare Perks.
-
My 3 main problems are rubberband, constant skipping and sometimes my game just completely freezes. I can tab out and do everything else but my game is just frozen and I have to use Task Manager.

So happy to see this thread. As a survivor I managed but it was so off. As a killer I could barely hit a person. I was ready to cry. Love playing this game and was worried they did something that forced me to upgrade my computer
Well, technically they did. I was.. and still am forced to upgrade my drivers. But my graphics card is so old that I phsically cannot install a better driver version. So technically they force me to buy a new graphics card, or new computer.. even though my game was working quite fine before the engine update.

I mean, how could anyone rerist him haha.
-
It is quite hard to identify a tech because Players will call ANYTHING a tech.
"Hear the TR and pre-run? Let's call it shift W tech."
"Drop shack pallet at 5 gens? Let's call it comp tech."
Some things are just straight up exploits which need to be removed.. like a hugtech, and some things don't work if the other Player has at least 2 brain cells.. like a dumbtech. All of that thrown inside a pool of "tech".
So in order to change a "tech" you need to specify it and see if it's problematic or not.
-
To be honest, for how much they love Haste, they gave a Killer who has Haste at base Haste Add-ons on top.
They should. rename Clown into "The Haste".
-
Generally, most slowdowns are overrated. Their effect's only trigger frequently if the Survivors are bad in chase. Have a Survivor who is a good looper, the Perks won't do anything most of the time. In that case I'll rather have 1 or 2 less slowdowns and have a chase Perk instead.
-
Oh no.. not again..
-
I know that feeling. I sometimes have it too.
What helps for me is.. if I play Randomizer.. I never have anxiety, probably because my outcome is dependent on luck, because I have no control over what my loadout is gonna be.
If I decide what my loadout is, I have the intention of winning, even if I generally don't really care about winning, so it stresses me out sometimes.
So my suggestion is, play Randomizer, it's fun and you get to play different Killers/Perks/Addons you usually don't run.
What I also find quite fun is "play who you vs". You play Survivor, then you play Killer with the same build as your last vs'd Killer, and then you copy the build from the Survivor with the highest score rinse and repeat. Though I must say due to the current meta you won't have to much variety.
-
First Hangman's Trick at least had the effect of respawning hooks after a sacrifice, which was a nice and unique effect.
Now it's pointless.
-
Now they need to change the "Delaying the Inevitable". Because it is kinda stupid to need to pay money for a licensed character to unlock their Perk in order to get the challenge done.
-
Scratched Mirror with an Ormond Offering and no Haste Perks.

I would make it an Invocation.
Takes 120 seconds and after you've finished the Invocation, you die.
All other Survivors gain 2 % Haste for 10 seconds.

-
I really like the David head. Idk.. caps and a beard have something going for them.
-
2v8. Nothing more nothing less.
And I hope it'll stay there permanently.
-
Tbf, if I see someone use Knockout I'll just jump in a locker.
But yeah, that Perk is badly designed.. even more so than Noed imo.
-
For some reaosn, any events will cause the Bloodweb to bug out and not spawn 2 Ultra Rares on Lvl 50 Bloodwebs, even if there is no event Item.
Ending an event spawns 2 Iri's per Lvl 50 Bloodweb.
-
There should just be a base mechanic for DS already. I'll just give my personal idea here:
New mechanic: Survival Instinct
- After getting unhooked, you gain Survival Instinct.
- If you get picked up by the Killer while Survival Instinct is active, stab the Killer to escape their grasp and stun them for 5 seconds.
- Taking a Conspicuous action deactivates Survival Instinct prematurely.
- If another Survivor gets hooked, Survival Instinct deactivates.
Decisive Strike: (Rework)
- When Survival Instinct deactivates, the Killer's Aura is revealed to you for 10/11/12 seconds.
- When escaping the Killers grasp, they suffer a 10 % Hindered penalty for 6 seconds.

He's talking about the Perk.

I just dont see how you not could have BPS's. Almost everyone i know who play regularly save all BPS and anniversary BPS for events and bloodhunts. I myself is sitting on 600 anniversary BPS from all previous years and 300 normal BPS's. Still i can't really complain since i'm getting on average 220k BP per game as survivor and close to 300k average on killer.
Because some people don't have the time to play 10 hours a day.

The Executioner - Addon Update + QoL Changes
The Nightmare - Re- Rework
The Shape - Tweaks/Changes + Add-on Update
The Skull Merchant - Rework
Those are probably my most wanted, even SM.. even though I could not care less about what happens with her. Her power is just flawed and needs to be reworked to something entirely different.

it's really not the biggest map in the game, there's quite a few bigger than it. It's definitely player perception that make them think it's bigger than it actually is, most likely due to the shape of it.
There shouldn't really be big maps in the first place.
Survivors have a hard time traversing those maps cuz of their low base movement speed, so to get an unhook they need to travel 20+ seconds sometimes to get just 1 unhook.
Killers who don't have mobility can't keep up with 4 Survivors as well as all gens because they're way to slow for those maps.
Big maps are just bad for both sides in general.
-
Also, they shrinked the biggest map in the game.. Mother's Dwelling, just to add a new biggest map.. Greenville Square. That map is way to big
-
Well, Pain Res is basically a 6th gen.. and you can combine that with Pop, Surge, Eruption or other slowdown Perks.
It is very strong.. and annoying. But I don't find it overpowered personally. If Survivors last long in chase it does barely anything. I have a much bigger problem with Deadlock, as you can camp and tunnel and still get free slowdown.
Pain Res requires hook spreading between all Survivors, it's healthy designed Perk.. the effect itself might be debatable if it should be nerfed or not.. but it's overall function should stay like that.
-
My example: What I still find baffling isnt that Med Kits got nerfed, it's how they got nerfed. Before they were at least somewhat unique, but now.. the only difference is that you can heal others 5 % faster with a better Medkit.. ranging between 35 and 50 %.
For self heals, it literally does not matter which MedKit you take.
And the Add-ons are just boring.. nothing unique about them except maybe the Styptic/Syringe/Surgical Suture and Needle and Thread. Every other Add-on is practically the same or useless. (Wow, I heal 33% slower, with that Add-on I can heal 28 % slower.)
I wish they gave Med-Kits a nice rebalance as well as Add-ons and make them all unique in their own way.
-
Depending on the situation, if a Survivor does a gen while I approach and instead of running away they just stand up and give me a side-eye and then they slowly walk towards me.
Or if a Survivor cleanses a Totem, not giving a flying f*** about me being there.
And the classic, they offer me an Item or Syringe/Spray.
Edit: Oh yeah, and if you play Yoichi you have a 100% escape rate against me.
-
Weak ≠ fun to go against.
I personally dont enjoy going against him because his power just isnt interesting. The reason why I also dont like playing him.
He is a weaker Clown (and Clown himself is also boring to go against), doesn't have any unique ability to juke (Like a Nurse blink or Wesker dash for example), his Dreamworld is just bad and ugly to look at. He'll always start teleporting but never actually commit which is also quite exhausting after the 50th time.
He lacks anyform of uniqueness, he is weak uninspired and unfun for both sides. Old Freddy at least had something going for him.

I used to main Sadako for quite a while but her rework has left her in such a sad and pitiful state that’s it’s depressing to play her. She’s so, so bad now. That’s why we never see her anymore.
Which version did you main? Because currently, she seems like a better version of her original self. Well, except the condemn playstyle with Iri Tape + Ring Drawing
-
It's good on weaker Killers and weaker on stronger Killers, which basically most (stalling)-Perks should behave like that.
-
I miss playing against a Myers who doesn't use Tombstone Piece.
But other than that.. generally, I wish more people played Sadako. She isn't that boring slug and condemn Survivors thing anymore, but she can generally pull off more in a chase now, even if it's not really that much more but still.
Also, Iridescent Video Tape with Bloody Finger Nails might be my guilty pleasure.. even though your Condemn is practically useless then.
-
You can delay their spawns by hugging a wall tightly, as they need a minimum radius where there is nothing in order for them to spawn.
Not sure but I think tapping M2 also delays it, but not sure on that.

make a post on this please
I will, but it will take quite a while. I want to include every Perk and also fancy out my Excel with more colours and such cuz with only the text, it looks ugly.
Edit: It is also quite hard to come up with ideas for Perks which are generally flawed. Like Dying Light.. where I am currently sitting at.
-
If I am the last Survivor, I offer Wesker's some hair spray. He needs it if he wants to keep his hair the way it is.
-
Huntress is as annyoing as always because of her oversized hatchet hitboxes.
All that Clown's buff proved to me is that he is another Killer who cannot become stronger without a rework, because current Clown with more bottles and his buffed effects is just insufferable to go against.
-
A reworked version of a Survivor Perk. It's not a general Perk cuz I do it alphabetically.
-
I am currently doing a mega project where I cover all Perks and buff/nerf/change/rework them if needed.
There is one example here:
Edit: Personal idea, might be to strong/to weak. But it's always hard to change something if you can't test it in practice.
-
What they could theoretically do is making DS work on all stuns and make Background Player activate on all pick ups, not just other Survivors.
That way you can stun the Killer and Smash Hit away or even better, stun the Killer and run away with Background Player.
Edit: It will require 2 Perk yeah, but.. also allow for a true anti tunnel build or at least heavily punish tunneling.. which is needed.
