I've told people ingame many times whenever there was a mode.
If you want to win, play normal mode. Any modifier is purely for FUN. Modes and modifiers shouldn't be taken seriously.
-
I'm looping Killers just fine. Or am I by your logic playing against baby Killers every game as a 7k hour Veteran player?
-
I think they should extend Chaos Shuffle by 2 weeks to compensate.¹
-
Weird it wasn't mentioned anywhere. Thanks!
-
What? Really?
-
I'd remove or kill switch them for at least as long as all maps aren't equally balanced for both sides.
At the moment map offerings promote nothing but unhealthy gameplay for both sides, which isn't tolerable.
Wouldn't mind if they outright removed them from my inventory and from the game for good without any BP compensation. I just hate map offerings.
-
I find Killer on this mode to be quite relaxing. Survivor on the other hand.. not so much.
-
Can I use a Witherrose? Or that Clown watersplash flower?
-
I'm always amused by myself after seeing this thread. I open the game to claim the gift, forgot why I opened the game.. play a few games and then close it only to see this thread once again and be like.. "damn it".
-
I have a reel I saw today but I am not sure if it's allowed to send a link in here.
-
Well, except Skull Merchant is hated by most Survivors AND Killers to a level they want a rework.
No other Killer has that reputation.
Freddy was a mistake, but because most Killers said he was to weak and needed a rework. But Freddy was good in design and only needed some tweaks.
Skull Merchant is a failure from day 1.

Shes already deleted LMAO.
There might still be a chance to play vs her, which is no good.
-
Good, now delete her as well.

There are certain pools within Bloodwebs.
Perk pool, Item pool, Add-on pool and Offering pool.
Since all Add-ons are thrown into the Add-on pool this happens:
- There are way more yellow Add-ons in total than green ones, which means getting one specific yellow Add-on is quite unlikely because there is so many of them. Meanwhile there are way less green Add-ons in total which results in you getting specific green Add-ons much more frequently.
The rarity makes sense since you'll have way more yellow Add-ons than greens.. in total.
My idea would be to only allow Add-ons of their current existing Item within the Bloodweb. So for example, if you have a Flashlight and a Medkit for purchase, you'll only get Flashlight and MedKit Add-ons within that Bloodweb.. which would fix things a bit.
-
Moment of Glory needs a buff to it's timer.. at max 45 seconds.
Eyes of Belmont is basically old Dark Sense with the Lethal Pursuer secondary effect. I find the Perk quite fun with Alert, Fogwise and Object. On it's own.. useless.. I'll rather use Dark Sense which already isn't good.
Exultation is just flawed. Interesting idea but really useless. If I want to bring in a good Item, I'll take the Item instead and not a bad Item I'll try to upgrade with a required Perk Slot while also being utterly inconsistent. I don't think this Perk can be buffed either, it should just be reworked.
-
Blight, but sliding only once from a surface I planned on bumping on makes me want to destroy my PC.. so I don't play him.
-
I'm keen to know what they're going to do with Crowd Control. It used to be 16 seconds, then 25 seconds and then they giga buffed it to 60 seconds. And no one uses it still.
My guess would be that windows stay blocked until the Totem is cleansed, which would actually be kinda dope.. but the Perk is underrated already.
-
I'd rather get rid of that one problem than create another one.
-
I personally would remove map offerings entirely from the game as they become more and more random clutter with each new map added, reducing the chance for good offerings like BPS for example.
Instead, I would add map votes:
Within the main lobby, every player is able to vote for a map, let's say there is a pool of 6 different maps the players can chose from. Each Survivor vote counts as 25 % up to 100 %. The Killers vote is 100 % because he is only one. So if a swf votes for Badham let's say and the Killer votes for Wreckers Yard, there is an equal chance.. not a guarantee for the role wich is using a map offering in the current state.
Map repeat prevention is implemented with this idea, the map you played on in the last match will not be in the vote for the next match, counting for all 5 players.
And no, it won't be a (either Survivor sided or Killer sided map every game) because of map repeat prevention.. and with so many different maps, having the same map every second match is quite unlikely. Though.. what I would do is throw every single Badham variant into one pool (Badham Preschool) and the game will randomly decide on which variant the match will take place if Badham Preschool was voted. The same will be applied on other maps which have different variants. So no Nurse on The Game every match or SWF on Badham every game etc.

I had this Anticheat error once. I closed the game and started it again, then it worked.
-
I played each Killer without Add-ons once against bots for now.. have to test it further, but current opinions are:
Doctor: Practically the same, just a bit less cooldown. Could be a bit oppressive with Impossible Skillcheck on The Game.
Nemesis: Feels amazing. Less cooldown on successful hits, faster Tier up's and the extra range on Tier 3 allows for some really nasty and unexpected hits.
Dredge: Feels alot better outside of Nightfall. His slow speed plus his longer cooldown made him feel very sluggish. I personally don't like him more or less than before.
Knight: Actually alot more fun than his previous live version where the Guards had a shared cooldown. Feels very versatile now and can allow for some nasty combo's. Cooldown on Assasin and Jailer could be reduced to 20 seconds as well.
Dark Lord: Very fun indeed, Hellfire is quite easy to use, Wolf is quite hard to use but with enough practice could be a strong tool as well. Hitting a Survivor with Hellfire into Wolf Pounce attack feels quite strong too. Bats are okay but could use a speed buff in general as well as a tp range increase.

Ah, good to know. Thanks for the info!

Thanks! @Peanits

Yes they made a whole map just for a 2 weeks secondary mode. Obviously.
Thanks for the unnecessary comment.
-
Where did they confirm this?

The description text is currently bugged, but the actual effects of the add-on have not changed. It is still a 50% recovery speed increase.
Hey, thanks for clarifying!

I love little info graphics like these. Personally I am one of the few that don’t really believe in “killer tiers”. As I believe that any killer has the potential to be very deadly if enough time is dedicated to them. And statistics support this belief which is part of the reason I have it. I don’t believe BHVR comes out with any killer and tries to make them “b tier or d tier etc.” I think different killers are good at different things and those things can be specific to individual player play styles/preferences. All that to say that this makes me smile for the trapper. <3 sorry he got some DCs though. Keep trapping on
That's not exactly true. Perhaps not Tiers like we see in most videos but there are still roughly some Tiers.
D Tier is pointless because any Killer can do some good damage if mastered. But a Master Trapper will never achieve the same results as a Master Blight or Master Nurse. So there are still Tiers, just not as many as people make them out to be.
-
If 2 Survivors are alive just hiding and not doing any objective for a certain amount of time they should be revealed.. either by Aura or Killer Instinct or both so hiding for that long should be punished.
-
Bill: "This is no moon."
-
Object of Obsession does exactly that already. Everytime the Killer sees you you see them as well. It's kinda similar.
-
Hook stages used to be 40 seconds in the early early days and you had 3 attempts. I doubt you'll get more than 3 attempts with this change.

The game would probably die.
This mode is DbD as fast action but very very simplified and pretty exhausting after some time.
Exactly that. Had to play normal Survivor for 2 to 3 matches because of how hectic it was. Being one of a team of 4 after a while feels extremely relaxing.
-
I'm almost certain Legion would need to be nerfed for 2v8. His Frenzy has no counter except (hope they miss), and with only 4 chained hits you'll get a down. It's quite difficult in normal 1v4 because Survivors can tactically split up, but with 8 Survivors you're almost always guaranteed to get a Frenzy down, especially if the other Killer lures the Survivors towards you.
-
The Joker:
Aura Skill: Shows the Aura of Hatches within 32 metres.
Team Skill: When escaping through the Hatch, one Survivor can also jump through the same Hatch.
Innate Skill: Guarantees a Skeleton Key in a Chest when there are only 2 Survivors left.
-
Being intentionally slugged in a fast paced mode isn't necessarely fun.
-
Yesterday I managed to dodge some Huntress hatchets while also dodging Nurse blinks for a good amount of time while moving completely unpredictable. it's kinda fun ngl.
-
There is no point in queing up as Killer as it takes way to long, waited so long to play Killer duo just for me to not be able to.
And no, I know many people think the same way as me and that's why it's taking so long.
-
They basically made Stridor counter Iron Will (and Off the Record) again.
Before, Iron Will would counter Stridor when it used to be 100 % because 0 % x 50 % equals 0 %
Now it's 50 % on top of 0 % sound, now your grunts of pain sounds will be at 50 % volume. Basically a slight buff for Spirit against Iron Will users, still wouldn't use it on Spirit.
-
I think what more people don't know is that Distortion also hides your Scratch Marks during it's active time.
-
The first one isn't even a nerf because using Mage Hand right on top of a Survivor is the best play, so reducing the range from 16 to 14 m does nothing.
And increasing the pick up time to 0.5 probably won't be to harsh either, picking up a pallet was already better in the PTB than holding down the pallet and gave you hits most of the time.. and that was when Vecna had that extremely harsh speed penalty of 2.3 m/s on top of the 0.5 sec animation.
Now he'll pick it up in 0.5 seconds once again BUT will move at 3.68 m/s, which is still.. barely any distance lost. So it'll still be a free hit most of the time.
-
I'd rather have anti loop Killers which seem to be the least problematic than second objective Killers like Sadako, Pig etc.. because those are either to weak or to oppressive and a nightmare to balance.
-
Probably a stealth Unknown or a Rusty Shackles Hag.
Unknown is scary by itself, so making him more stealthy and do ambush attacks makes him even more scary.
RS Hag feels like the old Prayer Beads Spirit, but weaker.

Nemesis might be too weak, maybe, but letting him instantly damage with his tentacle on top of it's utility is not a good idea.
Giving Infection more downsides would be a more intriguing option, to me at least.
What would be nice is if zombies could track you through walls while infected. Probably only at a certain range otherwise they'd start dancing because they would see more than one Survivor at once.
-
Why do you want to use Add-ons if you want to learn their basekit? That's my question.

Hmm idk on one hand it sounds like a good buff on the other people will be healing in12s which isint great for the game
Yeah, but you still need to spend 15 seconds on cleansing/blessing a Totem and then spend even more time to get to a locker.
-
I wouldn't mind if they gave Inner Strength the Overzealous/Clairvoyance treatment by making it activate on blessing as well.
Then you could maybe increase the healing time to like 12 seconds since you could then use it as much as you want which will make Inner Strength quite popular.
Shattered Hope will then also see some more use again, (besides the fact that it needs a rework or buff anyways.) as people will combine Inner Strength with a Boon of choice.

This doesn't sound too bad really. Last sec switching is dealt with also, so killers cant say 'Well, if we cant dodge, you can't use the W key in trial. its only fair compensation."
lol Im kidding ofc. We love our killer mains. :)

I understand this reasoning, and it makes sense lol. Im sure Im an outlier, but those games with a team that seem to just be in the right place at the right time… I dunno, its rare but its a delight when it happens. I get challenged and its usually good chats in the EGChat. Dodging would just make me feel like I didn't believe in myself or some mushy crap like that lol.
I need more KYF in customs I think. Its always 400% more fun and better energy.

Back to topic though! This line here is another reason lobby dodging should go. I would -assume- survivors killing themselves on hook immediately would go down considerably if they could also lobby dodge.
But they can't. And to quote almost every killer I've had 'discussions' with on here: 'Thats not fair!'
I'm pretty sure 'fair and balanced' is one of those 'eye of the beholder' things. Everyone has their own definition. Lobby dodging should go as well as survivor switching last sec. Imo.
I'd even go so far and lock both Killers and Survivors onto their loadouts as well. Because technically you could still last second switch by using the build presets on the top right.
-
I find them quite uninteresting, just like the whole Chapter itself.
Annoying voices/screams. Most Players who play them are either bad, ragequitters or toxic.
Bad or niche Perks at best, Background Player is an exception. The Teamwork Perks are a complete failure.
Don't like their music either.
Wouldn't mind if they deleted Tools of Torment altogether.
-
I'd say put like a 1 minute cooldown to lobby dodging after more than once, not like a dc penalty where it bans you after a while, just a mild punishment for those who keep doing it.
Also, lock Survivors onto their character once they're in the main lobby to eliminate last second switching.
