I was in main menu and thats where it was opening it. I also got the chapter, but it was a while ago if that matters.
Oh yeah it does open it in the main menu, weird, I thought that wasn’t the case..
well did try to put the code still completely and quickly in? Preferably with PH selected so you can see him in the main menu. And be sure to use the correct bindings for the B/A equivalents on PS. The rituals open up but will get closed with one of those buttons i think.. (at least on switch it does - though I do not have any SH content there)

I think you put it in when being in main menu, where the left button isn’t bound to open the rituals
also iirc you have to have purchased the SH chapter or at least one of the chars?

The official statement is that it’s out of their hands at this point. We have cross Progression for Epic and Steam platforms (and Stadia had it too). Switch is confirmed to join, but they ran into ‚technical issues‘ and can’t commit to a date (and at this point I doubt it will ever make it)
other platforms may never join and we have gotten the same official statement multiple times..

obviously there is the in-game descriptions which theoretically give you all the info and I guess flying over these can’t hurt to get a first grasp of killer powers/perks.
Other than that, if available then you can always test out killers yourself on PTBs - even if it’s a midchapter PTB, you can use in-game currency on there to test out killers without losing the currency on live servers.
and then, there is of course content creators. Pretty much all the big known (and many small) YouTubers should have an overview video for new stuff on chapter releases where they go over the new stuff explain it and directly play it.

No, it’s completely original.
some speculate that it was supposed to be a „Predator“ chapter at some point and the killer does seem like they take some loose inspiration from the predators.

Yeah, they started to lock event-related items away in the shop. They will be available during the winter event time again… started to do it with Halloween, Winter/Xmas and Lunar New Year cosmetics. More will likely follow.

the perk activates as soon as you M1 someone but deactivates when that survivor gets downed - so if you have gotten 0 screams consistently, I assume that’s because you down them to quickly?
maybe try to get an early first hit but don’t go after that survivor immediately.
Hex:Thrill of the Hunt may also help as survivors that scream during Totem cleansing have to start anew.
if you want to try to deny the heal as well, take Wesker, map offering for the Game, Coulrophobia and Distressing.this should make it fairly easy?edit: nvm I am a dumdum, survs only scream outside the TR

best perks on Myers depend on your playstyle and add-ons - generally he is an M1 killer, so anything that helps in chase (Bamboozle, Enduring+Spirit Fury combo, Brutal Strength) can help as well as general gen regression for more time (Call of Brine, Eruption, Scourged Hook: Pain Resonance, Overcharge)
finding survivors early on to better stalk up could also help (Lethal Pursuer and Discordance)

If you have enabled family share then yeah, that’s intentional. DLCs can be shared like this, the main game has to be bought on both accounts to be able to play at the same time though

New profile pictures are being worked on - actually Mandy mentioned they should be here with/shortly after the forums rework.
though, there will be plenty currently available pictures cut as having all the perks is way too much to maintain..
also, hopefully rainbow birb (as well as their other birb friends) will be available!

It's not that far fetched when you see how similar her face is to tricksters (reuse model) or the weird mori where the survivors stands there looking around as if they cant see the killer just to be impaled from behind by a claw hand.
Not saying it's TRUE with that and the whole inspiration look I can personally see it and the community have made far bigger leaps before lol. At least this one has similar parts that can make sense

Haven’t tested it myself, but based on the description, yeah they should stack together! Multiple Leader effects from different survivors wouldn’t stack though.

though…. This would only really explain poor models and animations, right? Like, actual gameplay, perks (teamwork perks introduced with a licensed chapter? And how would they fit into predator?) and stuff would have been same-ish on the licensed chapter. It’s not like they needed those people working on that stuff to jump into modeling/animation..
even the shelter woods rework doesn’t really fit into this, like.. that’s clearly designed for the original character and doesn’t have anything to with Predator? But then again, I only ever watched one or two of those movies and that’s been a while ago..

unrelated. But at least in case of Leatherface iirc the devs actually gave us insight info, that Hillbilly was supposed to actually be Bubba but they didn’t get the license but got it later on. Which is likely why they wouldn’t tell us if this was the case now - talking ‚negatively‘ about the Predator license now might prevent any future collab

Not sure about that. But you could -if you are on Steam and have the auric cells on your account- test this out on the PTB. It’s not the actual intention of the PTB but I have tested out cosmetics like that before.

Eh. Same was speculated with Knight being a For Honor killer and other licensed/original speculation before. I don’t really think so, it’s not even that close with the drones, no invisibility..

No. I see why you would think that, but that way the survs can completely deny the killer to use their power and that shouldn’t be possible imo. Maybe have the orbs be less frequent or something..?

Until Dawn being PS exclusive might make it less likely? But in general, both should be possible as they are both clearly horror genre and that’s pretty much the main requisite for licenses to be added.
of course the devs would need to want the license in their game, and need to negotiate with the license owners (and possibly with the actors of the characters) and find an agreement..

The amount of times they've released a PTB and changed absolutely nothing despite glaring flaws being pointed out makes me pretty convinced that the point of chapter PTBs isn't to gather feedback but to have the community do QA for them and to build hype for the release.

also they stated that not all changes based on PTB feedback can be put into the release update but will still be used for future bugfix patches etc. and yeah, this I part of the QA for sure..

I mean.. the PTB is there so they can make changes based on feedback, so I don’t see how announcing changes would be taking the L? Though they shouldn’t just make changes based on the initial reactions which is all we got now. Let people play, get used to the chars and the lower.

eg, if the killers aren’t moving at all and just standing in one place and hit m1 frequently then yes, that’s reportable and bannable behavior.

BHVR is in Canada, so it’s not reasonable to expect them to do updates at working times in Europe/Asia.
also it will most likely be a PTB today (or just more info and PTB tomorrow? I think PTB is not officially confirmed to be coming today)

Even though it's not really a legendary, the baba yaga should be up there too since it basically is in most respects (unique animations and lullaby, grunts,, etc)
I thought Baba Yaga, Minotaurus and Krampus counted as legendary as they are changing who the characters are?
