I assumed this meant it could cause bugs.
-
I always called it teapointing and I too miss it. It just looked so amusing.
-
Sounds like they just countered your strategy to me.
-
It not being in the patch notes makes me think it wasn't intended and will be changed. Hopefully not though because it's much better this way.
-
I don't get it.
-
This isn't a bad thing.
-
Steam has a very nifty controller configuration which i've used for a few thousand hours. Try that.
-
I believe that they meant what they said at the time but things change and i'd say this is a positive thing. The only downside to this is missing a few challenges if you don't have the character but you can still reach the end of the tomes anyway.
-
Think of it as more of a horror theme. Even if they did manage to make the game scary, people would get used to it and then they'd need to do something else to make it scary again and the cycle repeats.
-
Probably the same thing that happened with Scarface recently in Payday 2. The DLC stopped being on sale but anyone that had the DLC would keep it.
-
Countered pretty easily by having the common sense to avoid other survivors wherever possible. It'd need more to it otherwise it's just another stealth ability.
-
It's right there in the picture.
-
I actually like this one
-
No idea what causes the bug but I remember someone having this issue in the Best Of The Best tournament that happened a little while ago.
-
If people are putting themselves into struggle phase when them being rescued would avoid that I say ######### 'em. They're not worth it.
-
Imagine how ######### it'd be to player as the killer if people would frequently wiggle off.
-
At this point they'd probably make it a hex perk.
-
Adrenaline but it activates after every single generator.
-
It's really annoying to be denied the unhook points and the WGLF stack. It just makes you feel like you wasted time for no reason, especially when you cross the map for the save. The first time it happened to me I decided I wouldn't heal them and they followed me around for a while, before getting caught again. I also may have possibly perhaps teabagged in front of them while they struggled on the hook. Maybe.
-
A smart player will simply use the speed boost from being hit to run to a different pallet.
-
I keep wanting to use this perk and then forgetting it exists.
-
I've had brown medkits unable to fully heal me. It's really rare but it happens.
-
######### it, i'd still go for the gen. I've had little experience against Dragon's Grip but so far it works out better for the survivors because the killer goes all in trying to get that sweet exposed hit that other gens get slammed out.
-
If you play smart then going against flashlights can be a great thing as in many cases those idiots will just follow you around whenever someone else is being chased. Meaning less people on gens.
-
As much as I love playing Pyramid Head, currently my favourite killer, I understand this change and i'm fine with how it is sounding. Being able to put people into a situation where they have to take a guess at what you are going to do really sucks to be on the guessing end of. It's a huge part of why people hate Spirit and Deathslinger.
-
It's not needed but I guess they did it to put him more in line with the other killers that can do it like Demo and the chainsaw boys.
-
Nice way of explaining your point. Very helpful.
-
My problem with Lightweight is that you can't tell if it's doing anything for you at all. Did you lose the killer because of Lightweight or did they just screw up? You can't be sure.

That challenge requires Ace's 3 unique perks.
A 4th perk can be used as it doesn't say "only" those 3. Challenges are a little weird that way. Like when you have a challenge to run Haunted Ground and hit people while they are exposed, you don't need to trigger Haunted Ground at all. Simply having the perk in your loadout works as for that I used Myers.
-
Well you can still use DS yourself and do the challenge.
-
Not sure how a sound notification makes it like a hook when it's a very, very commonly used thing.
-
I used to run it all the time and it can be pretty damn useful for sure but useless when people go for quick saves on you, or you get hooked before you unhook. I'd probably go back to using it if your aura colour changed for the other survivors to show you had it active.
-
I don't think the license holders would want to work with BHVR again after how hard Deathgarden tanked, meaning the Terminator DLC it had probably sold very very poorly.
-
I imagine it's much easier to do on a game like TF2 that isn't receiving frequent updates and new content.
-
Because they aren't basic attacks and it should be pretty obvious why.
-
For the most part the rule set was fine but DbD has far too much RNG to be actually tournament worthy. I will say though that the parts I caught were genuinely a joy to watch.
-
The only usefulness I find for this perk is when you down someone at a pallet but, in my experience, it's so rare that someone is close enough that picking them up will end with them being saved. I just don't see this being worthy of a Hex perk.
-
Thanks for sharing this. There was a lot of good info.

so the obvious question to ask here is that why aren't there iri shards in the free version of the battle pass
That'd be bloody nice but i'd guess they don't want to do that because it's essentially free money.
-
Probably because the attack is part of his power and is limited when compared to a basic attack seeing as you can only turn so far with a Rush attack. With the Spirit her power is over before she attacks and has no turning limit with her swing.
-
I'm just not a fan of breakable walls in general. You either need to break them, like in the saloon, or you're better off leaving them alone, like in Badham.
-
The original killer FOV/camera position and the music stinger when being stalked by Myers. The Myers thing can come back in any way, I just really loved the sound of it as it was pretty creepy.
-
It's amazing how many people know about this bug and don't use their common sense and simply avoid the broken part of the hill.
-
The reveal issue goes both ways though. I've played as Ghost Face and been revealed after I hid myself behind an object. Just yesterday as a Survivor I was revealing Ghost Face and even after he went around the corner of a building, when I no longer had any vision on him at all, I still revealed him somehow.
-
People have been asking to be able to change the menu music for years, so I doubt it's going to happen after all this time. It would be pretty ######### sweet though because i'd be all over that first Halloween track they made.
-
Being pulled out of the power for a miss seems a bit excessive. Your idea of losing a bit of the power bar seems better to me.
-
I didn't catch much of the tournament but I thought it was brilliant. Dowsey did a great job commentating, the rules seemed pretty fair (although I don't know all of them) and the production value was bloody insane.
The only issues I had were the spectate cam for the killer being awful but that's a problem with the game itself and the fact that the hatch was able to be used. Which I feel doesn't make sense in a tournament setting.
I'm excited to see the next part.
-
I think it's fine as it is
-
I've only gotten Silent Hill sets because those are the only interesting ones to me. Really not a fan of sets in general though.
-
I think it's pretty cool and quite satisfying when you get to do it. I would like the animation to be changed though so he slams the blade over their head instead of their arm. Looks really weird like that.
