I honestly don't think Solo Queue is that bad in general, but moments like this:

Yikes, and omg I miss the old survivor portraits. Memories.

yeah I don’t mind meeting new people. All my friends basically left the game and I don’t know why. Do you play on pc or console? I’ll drop my friend code or username (:

I've been told the TV turns off after she teleports.
I haven’t got the chance to play her yet but I thought she could originally teleport to any tv at anytime. Ques are like 10-12 minutes just to get into a match with her
-
If Wraith, Freddy, and Spirit had a baby together somehow it would be the new killer. Wraith because she can be somewhat invisible from a certain distance, spirit because her animations are like phasing, and Freddy because she can teleport to any tv with no cooldown if I’m not mistaken.

Hopefully it’s a boon that helps exhaustion.

If your game is crashing frequently you might wanna verify the game files...
I’ve done that before and I notice it doesn’t really crash when I do that, I may have to start doing it more often. Thank you.

They can't recognize if it was an intentional dc or a game crash.
If you crash that much, you are more or less ruining everyone else's game many times, I think you should stop playing this game till you fix your own system.
sometimes I’ll be able to play for a good time and it will crash out of nowhere sometimes it doesn’t even crash. It’s just random, believe me if I had enough money for it I would right now. It’s the only gaming system I have.

That would be horrible. 2 most fun killers to verse disabled? Boring M1 killers who either get looped into oblivion or simply hard tunnel and camp first person they see.
I prefer nurse and blight, thanks
They’re the most boring killers to go against.

I mean, if a best killer can't destroy best SWF groups, game is broken.
Tell me when was the last time you saw a solo group 4 escape a high mmr blight with the meta and good add-ons? Not saying that killers shouldn’t get kills but blight is one of the killers that can do it like taking candy from a baby.
-

But Survivors can use their brain and realize that the Killer is using Tinkerer. If they manage to do that, which isn't hard btw, they can just split up on gens and counter Tinkerer. Blight is strong when Survivors don't want to adapt to him
Solo q itself is already painful and stressful enough. Against a killer like blight who’s running their best add-ons and build there’s literally nothing you can really do. How is a survivor going to tell the others he has tinkerer? They’re probably not even going to all be on a gen at the same time. This busted killer destroys even some of the best SWF groups.
-
I basically watch only survivor streams because they are the most enjoyable for me. I watch Ayrun, Probzz, Skermz, JRM, and Sweh. They’re really good and their content on YouTube is also pretty fun to watch as well.

I think that is the only solution. Give survivors who are being camp extra “distraction” BPs or something. Camping doesn’t personally bother me but it just sucks you can end up with just a few thousand BPs out of it. Just adds insult to injury.
and you can depip from it too sadly.
-
@Crowman said:
This is what happens when killers constantly get hit with unnecessary nerfs due to survivor complaints.
Constantly? Survivors just had 2 perks nerfed in the span of 2 weeks. Dead man’s switch was left untouched, RPD now has the best camping spot for killers, Pig is able to go AFK in front of a box to get a kill and the survivor(s) can’t really do anything about it, and Blight who’s already a problematic killer had an add-on buff. I don’t see these “constant” unnecessary nerfs killers are getting.

I had a variety of killers, but they all faced camped and tunneled one person out the game each match. I hope you get better games though ):

Dunno timestamp but they were talking about changing some add ons and why it take too much time. I think it was Peanits who said that changing Alchemist ring is not just simple number change therefore it needs more time to adjust the change and testing it.
Either way I expect Alchemist ring being changed very soon.
Also apparently J flick is back now? They must have mess up something when buffing vial
Yeah some streamers that play blight have said that the change to adrenaline vial made the j flick come back. Idk I just feel like something needs to be changed wether it’s the add-ons or the slide I don’t know. He’ll still be strong if slide got taken away still
-
@ShinobuSK said:
Only thing he needs nerfed is Alchemist ring and devs already hinted its going to be changed

I avoid tunneling whenever possible but I'm not sure why it would be more boring to chase after the wounded guy than it would be to spend time finding a completely new person and then spend even more time chasing them down because I have to hit them (at least) two more times now to down them.
A chase is a chase is a chase. Just when you're injured, that chase ends in one hit rather than having to do two hits
Fair enough.
-
@Crowman said:
The times I've tunneled out survivors were times when I needed to get someone out to slow down gens so I could actually play.
It's simply easier dealing with the person already injured.
Fair enough but in that video for example, everyone was injured but still went after him. I guess if your on death hook it makes sense to ignore other injured survivors and go for the kill but being chased from the early game despite others being injured can be frustrating and annoying.

@GeneralV said:
I don't think people really enjoy it.
I mean, there might be one or two players who somehow do like it, but in general tunneling is either done for toxicity or necessity.
I feel like most killers do it for necessity, I know it’s common even in tournaments but to do it for toxicity and spite is something else. I agree with you though.

@MikaelaWantsYourBoon said:
Just wait people who will defend this trash gameplay. BHVR should ban people who is doing that. This is abusing of game design.
Oh, I’ve already seen people defend it on these forums. It’s sad.
-
It’s an idea but sort of like dugman said, most killers who facecamp or proxy camp aren’t doing it to be strategic. Killers can choose whether or not if they want to camp, from what I’ve seen it’s mostly out of spite. Hopefully the devs do something about it soon though.
-
A nerf I would give to the artist would be to allow survivors to keep their repel bar neutral and not reset after vaulting or dropping a pallet. I mean, if you’re injured and you’re in chase with her you’re going to go down quickly easily because she’s 115 m/s, there’s bloodlust, and her power can go through walls so if you don’t repel she’ll snipe you, if you do repel she’s probably ready to land a hit on you. I see it as a lose/lose situation because at least with other anti-loop killers you have chance to get a vault and not get punished.

Oh yes. Since even self care speed for the whole group wouldn't still be very good. And would totally bury the perk
But if it were to get to that point where it’s just self care speed, why bother to choose COH over self care? At least with self care you wouldn’t have to bless the boon and run towards it. The only good use the boon would have would be for double heals and the use of not having to bring a medkit or waste a slot for Self Care considering your in a SWF.

A 3rd change would kill the perk but I think its in a healthy spot atm. It doesn't need anymore changes, its distinct enough to set it apart from other options and not too strong(since its multiple time investments that aren't focused on gens). It makes me wish Inner Healing did something else cause I hate teammates breaking my bones.
True, I wish inner healing had an extra effect like giving you an increase in cleansing speed and maybe the could drop a few seconds off for the actual locker speed heal, that would be nice imo.

So is there some sort of 2 rework limit in play? I've read this comment three times and still can't find the logic. Lots of perks get reworked, buffed, nerfed, whatever multiple times and still work great. Like DS for example. Again, if you are just counting how many times something has been changed, with no regard to what the changes did, I kind of feel like you are missing the point.
Personally I think they should give the 2 seconds back to CoH, then limit it to one active at a time per match. Still a very powerful perk, but then it can't be used to cover entirely too much of the map.
I should have said posts, not threads.
Sometimes I don’t read through all the patch notes and updates so call me crazy, but I can’t remember if there’s been any killer perks that have been recently nerfed or changed where it reduces the effectiveness in a negative way. It just feels like the complete opposite. Nothing but Killer buffs and here are survivors, only having their perks (not including DS) last 1 week to a few months.

It makes sense that it got nerfed again, since it kinda made every other healing option not as good. Why run We'll make it when I can just use COH and get the same effect for as long as it stays up vs 90s and only after an unhook.
I mean you’re not wrong talking about the differences between COH and other healing options, Call me crazy but I know a 3rd change will almost absolutely kill this perk.
-
@AsherFrost said:

To be fair, it went from an 8 second heal to a 10 second heal. Not a huge change.
Botany knowledge doesn't give all 4 survivors in the match self heal and a healing speed increase, so even if the changes currently being tested on CoH stick, I highly doubt people will be running botany knowledge instead.
Look at it this way. You think DMS is an issue, right? So what if the devs came out and decided that to "fix" it, they were changing from a 45 second window to a 43 second window. Would that make it so you never made a thread about DMS again?
I’m just saying, like it just makes no sense to want to nerf a perk again, technically speaking, as someone commented earlier, it did get balanced from the PTB version because the PTB version allowed stacking with healing perks which was ridiculously stupid. And then, the healing speed got reduced. Even if it was 2 seconds, this is the second time the perk has been altered. A 3rd change might just bury this perk into the ground. And what are you talking about? I haven’t even made a thread about that. Imma stop here cause if I talk about dead man’s switch and how busted it is it will probably be another huge paragraph.
-
@ThatOneDemoPlayer said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2790556#Comment_2790556
Only been nerfed once. PTB nerfs/buffs don't count as the Perk hasn't been officially released yet. Still, CoH is the second most overpowered Perk and needs more nerfs/a whole rework
That doesn’t matter. It still got changed, and there’s still many complaints about it today even though it’s been nerfed. Like geez, what else do people want? If it goes down to actual self care speed or lower there’s not even a point of running it anymore because you can probably bring another perk that will do better such as botany knowledge and a Medkit.
-
@Sluzzy I definitely agree with your post. So funny how Boil Over lasted about a week but DMS is left untouched. And supposedly the survivor side is the side that whines for the most nerfs when the devs just literally nerfed COH for the 2nd time already.
-

If sliding was a feature then it would be built into his controls and his ability info - without being hidden behind people randomly finding ways to do it. Theres no controls programmed in to do it, its just an exploit. If someone can do it properly theres almost no escape against those blight players.

That is heresy!

It’s not fun but the killers here will just tell you “it’s a valid strategy” which is true to an extent. But if the pig is doing it jus to be a jerk there’s nothing you could really do about it. I’ve heard a few rumors here and there that they’re supposed to look at camping but for all I know it could be the Base Kit borrowed time they’re thinking about adding.
