if swf is removed the game will die, why is that such a hard concept to grasp
also, why do people always blame coms as to why swf is extremely good? imo its more that the survivors that swf can be extremely good individually, coms doesnt make novice players in swf busted

I don't think people realize that Survivors used to have Prove Thyself in their basekit—before the Legion's release, co-opping on a gen did not slow down gen speeds. All Prove Thyself does is undo that nerf. Don't really see how it's a big deal when that was what we'd already had since release.
no, survivors still had the same exact gen times while co-opping on a gen. the only thing that update did is show the red bar when 2 people are repairing a gen together.
-
i mean to be fair, the only way a killer can 4 man slug is if the entire survivor team makes a LOT of mistakes... you all have to be grouped up, nobody can have unbreakable, the killer most likely needs an insta down/exposed perk (like haunted grounds) and if not that everyone needs to be injured, and then all of you have to go down extremely fast.
and with tunneling, yeah it sucks, but i mean its their decision. just let go on second hook and move onto the next match.
-
imo, i feel like its supposed to be a built in counter to adrenaline.
land a shot and injure them to deep wound? they wont gain a health state from adrenaline

Its in chase your base + 8 meters.
gotcha, thanks 👌

nurse, hands down
second place would probably be hag
-
i mean, you were huntress (a 110 killer) on one of the biggest maps in the game. i wouldnt expect to win on that.
tbh, the biggest problem in this game comes to map design. killers wouldnt be forced to run 9000 slowdown perks if maps were smaller, and survivors wouldnt “gen rush” anymore as there would be so much more killer-survivor interactions if the maps were small.
on small maps, just try to actually apply pressure on gens and keep the survivors occupied. but in big ones? its most likely a gg once you load in if you dont have slowdown perks and the survivors are average.
-
i just think its how mind numbingly boring most freddys can be, and how most play.
before the nerf, every freddy ran forever freddy which was boring. its not at all good now but, its still boring to have to sit on gens for a long time to get the game over with
-
it does do a noise indication, you hear a weird sound once the locker is fully closed and the generator stops glowing yellow
-
head on & quick and quiet, lucky break and iron will, and spine chill and resilience. cant really decide between these

that goes for any killer.
if they are good, they are annoying to go against.
not necessarily, i love going against any extremely good killer that isnt spirit, nurse, or deathslinger. the chase is the best part of this game and having any killer that cuts chases down to like 5 seconds every chase really just isnt fun to me.
-
just an opinion but maybe both
went against him a bunch yesterday and today and i think he’s absolutely boring to go against, yeah he might shake up chases but when you go against a good deathslinger its extremely frustrating being killed in 5 seconds cause they have pinpoint accuracy.
idk, i doubt they’d be able to make a good and justified nerf to him, but i hope theres a way to change him to make him at least a little more fun to go against

Oh don't get me started! The only saving grace of Deathslinger in that map was the single line alleys survivors ran up allowing me to drag them back. Beyond that, it was terrible! Way too many loops they could just break my chains at easily.
to be honest its extremely sad how his whole power is just negated if a survivor drops a pallet early, especially since hes 110.
my match wasnt too bad tho luckily, as this one zarina was so cocky but kept getting downed instantly lmfao

I had Swamp, Haddonfield then Crotus, then 3 Dead Dawg in a row. Now it's back to terrible maps again. Haven't even found any offerings for the new map either, if they actually exist yet.
physically just gagged at it... also like how haddonfield is barely chosen randomly until youre playing a new killer thats 110

You can't buy unlicensed Killers with shards? Or Auric Cells at a discount?
i mean yeah, but im saying its our only way of testing them out for free without really sacrificing anything, lol. pc user get to test the new killer and survivor in the ptb
-
monitor and abuse seems like its going to be an extremely good perk on him, as it lets him get very VERY close to survivors without notifying them.
only thing that sucks tho is that it can definitely mess your aim up

In what context other than using Object of Obsession is Off the Record even useful? Seems pretty useless to me.
its incredibly bad... like just run iron will instead of this perk
-
i hope it comes back, console players cant test a paid killer at all without buying them without it 😔
-
im on ps4, main pig, wraith, and legion. also sometimes play huntress.
hopefully you go against me sometime if youre on ps4 lol

I think it was regarded as an exploit some mod ( dont remember the name mentioned it). Kinda funny that they ban people for that and hook tech is fine while they look for a fix for it. 🤷
okay but... the hook tech literally lets you facecamp 2 survivors at once if you dont swing...

Rather than make his EW3 scarier, I'd prefer making his ability to get it more reliable and raise the skill ceiling.
Remove the limit of stalk per survivor and allow him to multistalk.
This gives him more potential to tier up faster if he plays well or the survivors mess up and also adds more strategy as now you can try to find the weakest link and use them to take down the better survivors.
pretty sure the reason theres a limit on stalking is so that one survivor doesnt sandbag the entire team and feed michael up to tier three- which is understandable.
maybe make it so that stalk regenerates on each survivor?
-
sometimes but mostly when the survivor is hot garbage (like dcing on first down, sandbagging, etc.) but i don’t actively search them down to do it

*hooks a survivor and turns around to leave or maybe kick a gen nearby*
-> someone literally starts unhooking them in my face
-> i hit the unhooker, but they get the animation done
-> BT guy bodyblocks for the unhooker
-> i am forced to go for the guy that just made a huge distance, as the other one has DS and is probaply already sprinting at a locker
-> i just got heavily punished for their massive misplay and lost all progress i had previously made
but yeah, just dont tunnel, 4Head.
...not really? you got 2 hits off of that, someone in deep wound, and that survivor who hook rushed was obviously not on a gen so that only leaves 2 people on gens. if anything that’s extremely good for the killer, unless youre in endgame and the exits are open.

I don't play Huntress much admittedly, but I didn't know she had an add-on that allowed her to drag survivors towards her from halfway across the map.
Huntress may be a better killer, but it's not fair to say that there's nothing he can do that she can't do better.
imo, getting a spear hit as gunslinger is much worse than hitting a far ranged hatchet- as the survivor still has a way get out of the spear using their surroundings, while getting hit by a hatchet automatically injures them
also, their powers are extremely similar, and the times where Deathslingers power shines, huntresses hatchets shine a LOT more.
-
okay but survivors who burn haddonfun offerings deserve to have the killer dc in the loading screen
-
ngl huntress can do everything deathslinger does, but better
only thing different is that deathslinger has a crosshair, reloads faster and doesnt need to charge up his ranged attack
-
yeah, me too. for some reason tho my killer queues started taking longer while mt survivor queues were almost instant, which is weird bc killer queues are usually instant while survivor takes liks 5 mins.
anyway, got a rank 1 bubba with rank 4 teammates, was actually fun to play

DS shouldn't reward players for playing poorly. Adrenaline shouldn't reward players for playing poorly. DH shouldn't reward players for playing poorly. Unbreakable shouldn't reward players for playing poorly.
Do I need to name more?
how does adrenaline reward player for playing poorly? if anything its a reward for completing the objective with only 3 perks, which by all means is a playing pretty well.
-
okay but to be fair almost every survivor meta perk rewards failure
dead hard? you made a mistake, but its corrected by this perk
sprint burst? your caught out of position but can quickly get to a loop
unbreakable? you got downed and slugged (still think its a fine perk, but it does reward failure)
-
painfully long queue times for survivor make me play killer a lot more, if queues were good id play both 50/50 tho
-
it must be a myth, its been like a month since ive went against an actually good red rank killer
-
literally just play it safe in early game and he cant get his power, as hes a pure m1 killer with no power at all in the beginning

How? By looking at a wall? There are a few videos out from otz and aryun that show it flat doesn't work.
looking at walls, baiting pick ups, slugging, looking up/down, hell even shadowborn. theres loads.
and yeah those have to be bugs, not surprised that it happens tho lmfao
-
agreed, though i do think changing ruin while a majority of maps are still the way they are was a bad move, at least for right now.
like i doubt people would be groaning as much if they waited until like a couple more maps got reworked or something
-
flashlights are the easiest thing to counter takes people off gens to use them but... you do you boo
-
farming killers
i swear i always get like 3 farming killers in a row when i actually wanna play the game... like damn bro thanks for the boring match and another 5 min queue 😔
-
lmfao obviously dedicated servers, but idk if id count it as a change.
though i hate waiting 5 mins for a match just for it to be a gamer on the opposite side of the world from me and i wont know until im in the match
-
my god would i absolutely love to see item skins, power skins and choosable moris
sucks that theyd most likely be behind a paywall though
-
id like it if vigil made it so every status effect for survivors (leader buff from another survivor, resilience, vigil from another survivor, etc.) lasted a lot longer, snd every killer status effect went away faster for you (and status effects that are supposed to last forever as killer are now on a timer, if vigil is ran)
-
legion, i play him when i wanna have fun not to win
-
@28_stabs said:
I still dont understand why devs nerfed Pigs traps and tier1 Myers (Spine Chill can now detect him, lol).
for pig, it was because of the introduction of the EGC. they didnt want a scenario to happen where you cant escape at all because your trap is active and there isn’t enough time on the EGC timer to get it off (which would be extremely rare but... i think thats why.)
the tier 1 myers change was to make killers powers more consistent, even if it doesnt make sense.

Making a perk baseline means the perk would need too be completely overhauled. What would become of WGLF and BBQ if they become baseline?
Personally, bloodpoint gain isn't the issue, I find it's the amount of stuff you need too buy is the problem. Also a higher bloodcap would be super dope as well.
yeah, thats true. i think bbq with aura reading only is a pretty decent perk, but wglf would just need to be reworked.
the biggest reason id like this change is so im not forced to run bbq every game JUST to get double bps for the match, i wanna experiment with other aura reading perks (or just other builds) without feeling like im wasting 15 mins of my time bc im not running bbq.
this would also just help give incentives to newer players to seek out each unique survivor to get the double bps, and not camp/tunnel
-
@DamienDuff said:
do you mean increasing the base amounts of bp gains ?
like instead of 1250 for doing a gen, we get 2500? without using a perk for it?
basically, but the requirements would be the same for both of them (for example, you still need to hook each survivor 4 times to get the 100% bonus.)
-
probably, theres a whole lot of characters already in game, it was bound to happen that theyd run out of unique ideas.
that being said, i still think every chapter has something that’s extremely unique to it.
-
depends on how hes changed for the live version
-
i usually run:
barbeque and chili: for the bloodpoints, aura reading is also nice
monitor and abuse: a pretty good perk on him, allows you to get closer to the survivors to get a hit on them easier. one drawback is that it increases your killer instinct range, which can screw with you making you believe you can get a frenzy hit when you cant.
corrupt intervention: forces survivors to move into the map more, which can lead to survivors grouping up more. imo its one of the best perks for legion
for the last perk i usually run something random, sometimes shadowborne, or blood echo, or brutal strength.
also, id recommend not using an anti-healing build on him, at least imo. generally you want people to heal when youre the legion, as it wastes their time and you can just get them injured again easily anyway. also, most people just dont choose to heal most of the time, so an anti-healing build is useless imo, tho its up to you.
oh and for add ons i use stolen sketchbook and mural sketch
-
the day they give billys chainsaw a cooldown is the day i uninstall this game
-
thats being farmed. still a mistake on the survivors tho, why unhook in front of the killer without bt?
