They don´t really prerun a lot (new survs do) - but they get a bit confused sometimes.
I always use this on Doctor for the shock. And for the BP… :-( - sadly not anymore.
Doctor also has an addon where they always hear the TR like he is right behind - messes up some players.
But the buff could be nice - like Legion.
-
"You heal someone else. Then they start healing you and when doing that, you can activate the Perk, become broken for a minute and then you are fully healed."
Thank you.
Doesn´t really sound like very good value to me for a perk slot.

for some reasons:
- I rather wanna use BP Offerings because I have still over 1000 cakes on my Artist alone and not Sacrificial Ward just in the off chance that one of the survivors need a strong map. Same goes when I play survivor. I don't wanna use a Sacrifical Ward to prevent the killer or one of my teammates to send me to a stupid map
- It is a stupid solution that the player has to balance the game by using one specific offering. Random maps keep the game fairer while choosing the map makes the game unfair because you will have a natural advantage (knowing the map and have the build that fits the best on it).
- While some maps need a rework to become balance (Haddonfield, Badham, or Eyrie) it is impossible to make every map fair balanced for both sides and will also take ages until they are mostly balance.
- Otz law: This is not a meme - survivors who use a map offering and don't play 100% perfect, will dc or give up and ruin the game for everyone.
- Map offerings have toxticity because sending a killer to Eyrie, Badham, or a map that is bugged (when GoJ was bugged, players send me to this map just to abuse the bug) always leaves a bad taste on the otherside. Same goes when a killer sends you to a map like Stealth instadown Huntress or Nurse with aura reading on Midwich ect. Most of the map offering users want an easy game and are okay with giving the other side an unfun match.
Ok, i get these points.
I don´t play so serious so i don´t care about the map.
I only use offerings for challenges - the game is perfect for pallets and these hide in 10m radius ones. And Ormond for the drop while being chased.
-
Can someone explain Clean Break? … i don´t get it. (may be the german translation again)
I have to heal somebody - then it activates? … and then?

Just… won’t use the perk. Try to play smart and rush through the match. She’s not the first survivor to drop with terrible perks, she won’t be the last. Ignore them for your adept
I am ignoring them :-) …that is the problem
You get no info, no heal or anything - in combo one perk may be useful - but these three… not for me. It also doesn´t help my teammates decide to immediately give up on hook. The all aura Huntresses are also not funny.
-
No T-bagging but just killing on hooks. Yeah, got this to in the last two games…
-
?
Why, you now will have probably enough to always play them.
-
Hm… why do i have 9,7? Strange.

The changes are nice.
The removal of bloodpoint bonuses makes sense, I guess. The removed it from BBQ and WGLF a long time ago, so they now decided to continue with it.
The onlyy remaining one is Beast of Prey.
Oh noooo… i used that too.
-
I often used them for the bonus BP… :-(
The increase is nice though.
-
On Steam i have 9,7

They’re not especially thematic for the characters but I’m sure BHVR had to get them approved through Capcom. We don’t know what preliminary perks for them might have been or what Capcom suggested that could have been outside of what BHVR could do. The perks that really suit their characters are Flashbang, Rookie Spirit, Wiretap, and Low Profile. It’s Reactive Healing and Bite the Bullet that are a little off.
Yeah like this.
With a bit of fantasy i can see some kind of relation. As i said there are worse perk backgrouds imo.
Also it is getting more and more difficult for them to invent new unique perks as there are already so many of them.

People will just do the bare minimum to get rewards and never go back, so at best its a short burst in activity, or people just wont care enough to bother. No amount of survivor rewards will get me to play this dumpster fire of a game mode, nor will killer rewards on killers i dont want to play.
True… but a shirt or something like that is more appealing than BP.
They already doing something like that with the event tome and rewards.
-
Hmm… have to think of some situations. There are some but it is more that she takes advantages of situations i guess.
The first that comes to mind - with a bit of fantasy - you can say at the end of RE4 after Leon fought the boss and was weakened she took the sample from him and escaped. (Even Leon is a bit different as she always helps him)
-
I rotate survs i play.
I also see a lot RE chars and Silent Hills, Laras, Vitorios.
Don´t often see a Bill or Jake or Jeff.
-
To be fair - Leons and Adas perks aren´t that bad overall.
You can explain this. Leon - rookie - fixed on the misson - repair, Flashbang - y not - police thing, tough because Leon.
Ada - Spy. Sneaky, clever tracking - observation, heals when others suffer.
There are worse perk stories imo.
Edit - focusing on the target slipping away - imo that means he focuses on the mission, and when the gens regress he sees it - the mission is to repair. Bite the bullet is just because since RE2 and RE4 he is tough as f.
And with Ada healing i think she is silently profitting in the back - like in the games.
-
Long time since i saw Boogie Nights…
Was a good movie.
-
Pretty good idea.
-
Also they explained that if you get to the top cap you have a range from just reached top to ultra veteran.
This range is like all players who are not new to average… and even that does sometimes not work.
Pretty sad - as this is also not good for new players to get matched with very good ones.
-
Could also complete it on PC/Steam.
Visual bug.
Have to do it on PS4 now.
-
I also cannot select it. It is highlighted in tome but in game it says - no challenge selected.
PC/Steam
-
Will probably be another great game which dies more or less quickly depending on the updates it gets.
At this point i think only 1 license = not surviving for long.
-
Nurse is a free killer and is the strongest killer in game.
As long as she stays this way the game will never be pay to win. So this probably will never change.
-
Challenges are priority for me.

I've played like 20 games and escaped like 15 of them... what exactly are you talking about?
Maybe try to think of players who aren´t as good as you.
I also met some nasty combos of very fast killers who had great double tapping and cage rushing - that is not very fun.
-
It is like normal mode on steroids.
It is fast and stressful and at least for me it is mostly stomp or getting stomped.
With two good killers double tapping it also has some really unfair situations.
-
Uff, i hope not.
This is fun from time to time but not for longer.
-
Worked for me on PC / Steam.
If you can make another challenge - i would try this first - sometimes it helped previously if you maybe select a normal challenge and then reactivate it.
-
I already hate the aura again.
Huntress snipes and hiding pointless when the killer just sees you.
-
From time to time this is great.
But not permanent.
-
Close to 50 and have played all my life.
I hope i never get to old for this.
-
I would like that.
Old maps, old movement, old op stuff.
Will be interesting and may here and there spark some appreciation for some improvements made.
-
Lucky bug for me then.
I think if i have the chance i will try to run out with a trap again to confirm it. Don´t know if i should make a report of this one occurence.
-
PC / Steam of course.
-
From today PS4.
He is still huge :-)
-
It is fixed for me on PS4.
Also game start loading times on PC are normal again.
-
Because the first would be "Why can´t i pet the dog??????"

I agree. It definitely feel like something more should be added to technician. Even the "less noise during generator repair" is a bit weak. The noise reduction is so minimal the killer can literally just SEE you on then gen at that point. Though I like to use it since some nights I don't want to worry about random slip ups or merciless storm or any of the doctor stuff.
I use Technician for the "hit x great skillchecks" challenges.
It would be an awesome perk if they add aura blocking to it.
-
I think the real important thing is the new player experience.
People start playing and like it and play for longer and maybe bring friends.
That may make it the MMR which sometimes don´t work well enough.
The other points have time. I also prefer that DbD still runs on older hardware.

Huntress is one of like... Two killers that can actually make a full aura build work. Nothing has changed in that regard and if you had the last iteration of distortion she's also one of the few killers that could kill out all the stacks due to her substandard terror radius. It's exactly the same as it was before the distortion nerf.
You can harp on about "wallhacks" until your lips fall off but the fact is that every aura perk has a thing the killer has to do to make them work. That's not how hacks work. "Yeah my aimbot only turns on after I headshot someone on my own". See how ridiculous that is? But you know how ridiculous it is, you're just mindlessly parroting the Aura Bad mentality.
… and Nurse, Billy, Blight, Artist, Pyramid, Pinhead.
There are possibilities.
-
@Fuzzycube said:
It might be a bit strong to have unlimited free aura blocking (It’d completely counter Gearhead as well as make perks like BBQ a lot weaker) maybe have it added to Technician and work like Distortion where you start with one token and every generator you complete you get another token?
Or maybe x seconds of killers not being able to read your aura after a great skill check? It is the point to make it weaker and counter some aura reading perks.
As long as you are repairing.
When you run around or in endgame all killer aura perks would work. Also the gen perks would work also.
-
As some suggested she needs blindness during charges and blinks.
Just remember - the strongest killer in the game has always to be a free one. So it will never be pay to win.
-
Yes they are.
I guess they will become even faster with less opportunities to hide. I already have that.

Jolt has a range and the screams aren't directional. If someone is screaming from jolt you can probably just y'know, see the gen being worked on. Discordance only works vs survivors that group on gens. Good survivors do not do this. It gets way way less valuable when you go up against good opponents. Surveillance works, but there's a reason it's rarely run: it's clunky. Dead Man's switch works on one gen, if a survivor let's go after a hook. That's useful, but not as information. Thrilling tremors has a longass cooldown, a short duration and is otherwise very very tepid information.
It's got the same problem the last iteration of distortion did in that it makes aura perks unreliable. Hook with BBQ and don't see anyone because they're using their infinite aura suppression perk on a gen. That'll feel great. Hook someone with alien instinct and don't see anyone cuz they're just on a gen. Great. Run floods of rage, don't see anyone but the unhooker. Not valuable information.
I cannot believe yall are in a tizzy over distortion still. My survivor games haven't changed at all and as killer is nice to be able to actually use aura perks.
Maybe your surv games haven´t changed but i can say i see aura reading pretty often now.
Just played against a Huntress with all aura perks + the aura addon.
It is just that you can´t do anything against this anymore - hiding is pointless because she just sees you.
And yes - these are wallhacks. What else?
-
More stable servers would be great.
-
It doesn´t feel that good as an ending.
It was pretty clear that players won´t like it much.
-
Someone said this was actually some kind of nerf that the chase music is loud nowadays.
So that you can´t hear the survs so good anymore.
Some chase musics are to loud for sure.
-
Did you play the event queue?
It only works there. Finished it on PC but not yet on PS4 so i can´t tell yet.
-
Static Blast only works if you have a terror radius.
In the void you are undetectable and so it doesn´t work. Same in base game, no blast without terror radius.
Your normal shock works.

I had an idea for an aura denying perk, and decided to use Spine Chill as the base for it, since it's so bad now.
Spine Chill (New effect):
• This perk activates when your aura is shown to the killer. While your aura is revealed, the perk's icon lights up and an auditory warning starts playing. You also get a 2/4/6 % boost to all action speeds except vaulting.
• For every 12/10/8 seconds of your aura being revealed, gain a token, up to 2/3/4. Each token delays the revealed aura by 1 second.
(Explanation: If you have 4 tokens and the killer uses an aura reading perk, he is still able to see your aura, but not where you are currently, but where you were 4 seconds ago. The aura reading also starts and ends later, so the duration of the aura read stays the same.)That is an interessting new approach.
Getting to know your aura is revealed but it is delayed to the killer.
