So you are complaining about the very reason they exist. Okay. So what do you think it's like for the killer in that situation? The person who can only find you by physical collision?
-
1) Blight. Best killer design in the game.
2) Deathslinger. It seems I am one of the very few good Slinger's in my region, so I have a blast playing against him.
3) Plague. Would be my favourite if not for her broken Purges. Yeah, right, me unloading into that completly stationary player was a "miss." Or, flip side, getting hit despite dodging the projectiles. Which are very easy to see.

At least you get the bbq stack.
So you get 25% more bloodpoints and someone else has an hour-lomg ban because of yet another error. Sounds perfectly fair.
-
Wait, really? You're actually being serious? Well, I'm going to begin by saying watch some OhTofu Iri head, where he barely pays attention to the game whilst playing his worst killer and regularly missing. And, by the way, 4king all the way home.
Long story short, it's easy to land shots as Huntress. Really, really easy. Just get moderately close and charge your hatchet and there's nothing to be done. However, normally a survivor can use that speed burst to make it to a much safer area. Naturally, a good huntress would probably stil down them relatively quick, but it's hard to be a good Huntress and even then the survivors do have a little counterplay.
And then you have Iri head build, which takes that away completly AND gives you 3 chances to one-shot. And, on top of that, it is the easiest and strongest 1-shot add-on by far. There is absolutely no comparison, every other add-on has some serious requirements. Iri head has none.
-
And when the penalty inevitably returns, very little will change because suiciding is still a thing. Except now people will get punished for the game and/or the server connection being faulty.
-
If you stop victimising yourself, I might be able to take any of that seriously. I rarely, if ever, see the whole "toxic genrusher" routine these days, from teammates it opponents, but no. I play survivor, that's all I do, no? And of course, you don't seem to care about Blight, a killer who is arguably stronger than either of those you mentioned. That's extremely telling. No mention of Huntress either, hmm. No Billy? No Oni?
There's a difference between "strong killer" and "forced stealth section."
-
You literally cannot get further from having bad manners than telling someone "good game." I don't know if you've ever played sports, but calling someone toxic for saying "GG" is like those arsehats that try to crush your hand in the post-match line-up-and-shake that the whole concept of "GG" comes from.

You act as though Nurse simply charging a blink while in a chase is game over. There is PLENTY of things survivors can do without pallets and windows. God forbid a single killer made the gameplay slightly different than ring around the rosie.
If we're assuming bad players like you seem to be, then no-one needs changed. If a good Nurse charges a blink, you're dead unless she screws up. Zero counterplay.
-
Spirit: have her husk shift to her position every half-second.
Pyramid Head: Increase his cancel time, decrease his attack cooldown, increase his wave travel speed.
Deathslinger: increase cancel time, increase ads sensitivity, increase ads movement, decrease ads zoom, increase ads activation time, increase tr to 28m, increase chain break time.
Nurse: Delete from game. There's no way to make her fair in a chase. Her power is literally the ability to blink to you and hit, ignoring everything you can do.
Hag: remove flashlight disabling and create manual disabling, at a time of maybe 7-10 seconds.
Freddy: Add snare placement slowdown, remove the drastic increase to waking someone up, and give more ways TOO wake up that aren't detrimental to the survivors.
-
Then you slap it on Freddy.

like i said i changed the title to better reflect what i ment, you're example is 1 killer out of 20 and they all have a way to tell what they're doing, a giant red circle appeared to someone's name? killer is ghostie, the timer ran out? the killer lost the survivor.. and like i said demo shouldn't have a global hit and stun noise at the bottom of the post and i think they should be removed, i mentioned all these killers not to prove demo is balanced, i mentioned them to prove how all killers give a tell tale for their power 1 way or another and not when they breath on the map
Come on, you cannot be serious. You actually think that Demogorgon gives a similar amount of info to any other killer? I just gave you a middle of the road example and you basically ignored the parts that proved you wrong.
-
You're blowing most of these completely out of proportion. Ghostface, for example, doesn't make a giant DING when he goes into stealth or begins to mark a survivor. He doesn't scream at the top of his lungs when he breaks a pallet, searches a locker, or swings his knife. And he doesn't make an enormous boom when someone reveals him.
-
Anyone lacking perspective so much that they think keys are fine to bring but attack mori's is not someone you ever need to engage with. They don't care about you or anyone else. It's all about them.
-
Or, better yet, just buff solo and killers.
-
Ghostface, because F those bugs.
Freddy, because ease.
Leatherface, because Bamboozle.
-
I just ignore them and let their team play with 3 players, then watch them accuse me of hardcore tunneling 3 survivors at once. Damn, I'm skilled. Not even Otz could pull of the simultaneous tunnel. Some might even think it theoretically and physically impossible.
-
Yeah, I kind of agree - but 70% of my opponents are console players, so that probably has something to do with it. I cannot imagine what.
-
I hate her broken Purge. The slightest amount of latency and you get robbed left and right. Not to mention the fact that it seems to go both ways - I constantly get hit even though the projectiles missed me.
-
For survivor? That depends. Meta, as in "most efficient tactics available?" That's a hard one. Perks like Kindred, Bond, Unbreakable, Adrenaline, Prove Thyself...
Meta, as in "I'm extremely lazy?" That's simple - DS/UB/SG/DH. Not efficient, but uncounterable and easy.
For killer? Proper Meta is long and complicated and specific to each individual killer. Lazy Meta is easy - Forever Freddy, Stridor Spirit.
-
So, you mentioned the fact that they deactivated attack cooldown but not the deactivated collision?
At first I thought it was just a glitch, since the miss while you were BT bodyblocking clearly had a cooldown and that was after the pallet whiff, but then every cooldown in the world went away in EGC. Definitely report that. Once is a coincidence, but magically phasing through that Kate and having no weapon wipe?
-
Sounds like the same entitlement that small pp users have. Sometimes, everything would be better if they just admit it's easy, but no. Too many people try to justify themselves. "I'm the killer, I need kills, please ignore that it's my job to try and kill everyone and tunneling is the opposite of that."
It reminds me of the old Scott Jund video about player entitlement. Dude blasted him for "camping" and "tunneling" then proceeded to actually do exactly that when he played killer.
-
Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if Ruin was in for a proper numbers nerf just because of mobility killers like Spirit, Nurse, Billy, Blight, etc. That being said, I also wouldn't be surprised if the Devs completly missed the fact that literally no other Hex perk is meta, not even Devour Hope, and just nerfed Undying instead.
-
It isnt and no-one has ever said that it is.
-
Blight is, surprisingly, one of the most well-designed killers in DbD. He is easily my favourite killer, and he's also one of the strongest. He directly counters one of the most annoyingly powerful playstyles in the game, has insane mobility, good snowball potential, high skill cap and a very good chase which all adds up to forcing the survivors to be better than you in order to escape. That's not something that most killers can boast: the closest is probably Huntress, but she has terrible mobility and basically relies on snowballs for pressure.
-
Deathslinger. More outfit variants instead of recolours or coat removal.
-
Go play Siege and that'll give you some idea.
Short story? On occasion, teams will be more effective. Mostly it's just people screaming profanities because they can only affect the world negatively, which is a brilliant reflection on their character.
Edit: and by profanities I mean bigotry, racism, sexism and the like, not basic insults that people take offence to because they are told to.
-
Either this post is missing some context, or the direction of DbD is absolutely stupid and the game doesn't deserve its success.
DbD is at its absolutely least fun, and least addicting, when it is frustrating. I cannot believe that any developer would ever actually think for a brief second that negativity should ever drive a game. That's not an artistic choice, that's just plain self-destructive.
No, I think that either there's missing context or the Dev in question explained himself very, very poorly.
-
It depends. A full tryhard team? Yeah, no. 20 seconds ×3 is 60 seconds of free gen time from the stuns alone, even ignoring the time it takes to catch up and down them again, which would reasonably be another 3(30×4)=360 seconds, assuming the survivors hold W.
That being said, just the occasional DS? Well, then the answer is whatever strong killer you want to choose. Nurse, Spirit, Huntress, Billy, Blight and Slinger would be my main guesses.

I dont think its bully for views. Slinger is so unfun to verse. All he has to do is click m2 to outplay you. Litterally killer deadhard.
I dare you to main Deathslinger.
-
So a full on-comms party of collectively 12k+ hours DC'd because you were Slinger?
Right.
Edit: and it was after one of them found out you weren't a bad Slinger. That just screams bully-for-views.
-
I agree. If something exists purely to rectify a mistake, it should stop existing. Adrenaline, NOED, Dead Hard, Spirit Fury, Unbreakable...
But then the game would die, because there are plenty of lazy players.
-
I think Dead Hard is an extremely unfair perk. However, as second chance perks go, it's not the worst, and as much as I hate to say it if all of the second chance perks were to go then so very many players would quit the game. So while I don't think it's fair, I don't think it should be changed. Except perhaps giving it a longer exhaustion period.
-
Doc has the most info out of any killer in the game, so it's easy to lose your game sense and just rely on Madness. He also promotes hold-W gameplay with his primary ability being able to deny loops.
-
Locker DS. Easily the scummiest tactic in the entire game, because it actually works. A very close second is facecamp-into-noed, however that's mostly just used to secure an undeserved 2k, not an undeserved complete victory.
-
Probably not. Nurse is that slow because of her... Well, completely overpowered kit that leaves absolutely no room whatsoever for counterplay, meaning that the only hope anyone has is that the Nurse in question cannot aim.
I genuinely don't think there's another killer that could be that slow but with a different power, except maybe Hag with infinite teleport distance and immunity to crouching/flashlights.
-
It's because the competitive crowd rolled in on a very chill and core-unbalanced game. Don't get me wrong, I like playing games competitively, but in DBD it just leads to exactly that: short, unfun trials. Yay, take your dopamine hit. Over there. With all the other people that think it's impressive to have 4-minute escapes or Nursey 4k's.
-
Azarovs is the most (out of a very small and otherwise-rng based list) killer-sided map in the game. It's practically a guaranteed 3-gen with a lot of easy-to-make deadzones. And that's at its weakest: At it's strongest, you've got 5 generators all next to one another with nothing but a handful of junk pallets and some poorly-oriented maze tiles.
-
Because Valve.
That's pretty much the long and short of it. I don't actually know what kind of company policy they have, but it seems to be the extremely hands-off approach in which you leave people to police themselves and plug your ears to the spread of racism, sexism and homophobia.
It's funny how I can have a name outright stating the horrible things I do to people but the moment I drop an f-bomb I'm on a blacklist. Logic.
-
Honestly, almost never. Maybe I'm lucky, maybe Kate's get less camper/tuneller killers. Or maybe it's because I don't expect killers to give me free passes. Who knows.
I have a very strict definition of both: Camping is when you stay at or within easy distance of the hook despite literally anything and everything else, and Tunneling is when you go after a survivor despite, once again, anything and everything else. Both are, in fact, highly inefficient and pretty miserable. Most of the time, if I get hooked twice it was because of a farming/stealthing absolute idiot of a teammate and I know exactly where the blame lies.

I play a lot of both Deathslinger and Nurse and I can't imagine Deathslinger being that hard. He sure has a high skill cap but I always thought that he's easier than Huntress due to quickscopes giving basically no reaction time to the survivor.
Perhaps you should take into account outside FPS skill. I've seen my friends, who don't play shooters, have a go at Slinger. He's hard. I barely dabble in shooters and I think that.
And that's without all of the little amazing tricks that seem extremely gimicky but can potentially shave of enormous amounts of chase time.
-
If you want tips for ranking up, just remember: the game doesn't reward you for playing well.
To rank up, you need a gen, a totem, a safe unhook, a heal, and a couple of decent-lenth chases. There's other factors, of course, but generally speaking if you go for these then you'll pip. But playing normally, without actually trying to rank? Yeah, that's an absolute nightmare.
-
You need 9 hooks and 4 kills, so... Yeah. Not exactly the fairest of challenges, since it's out of your hands. Just try to go for a 12-hook trial.
-
If you're not BMing them while forcing a bleed-out, then slugging isn't toxic and isn't a problem. Anyone claiming is is just wants you to go for 12-hook games. Or, more accurately, 8-hook-0-kill games.
And yes, I think Doctors add-ons way overbuff him. Comparing him to even the Plague, Blight or Spirit, other killers with amazing add-ons, most of doctors act like 2 seperate add-ons rolled into 1.
-
Sometimes. Usually when there's nothing else around and the pallet is weak in the first place. The new Yamaoka maps are a prime example.
-
So... People are calling you a hacker because of a killers very nature? How new to DbD are these people?
-
I slightly agree, but only because I think there's been a killer that's much harder than Nurse for a while: Deathslinger.
Blight is hard. Even once you've learned him, he's hard. I don't think he's Deathslinger hard, but he's close. Nurse... Nurse gets pretty easy once you learn her. If you're landing blinks, then you've reached her mechanical skill cap. Blight is as you say: you need good EVERYTHING. Map knowledge, reactions, opponent judgement. But both of those killers can make a couple of mistakes and get away with it thanks to their mobility. Slinger doesn't have that fallback.
-
The problem with solo que is matchmaking.
-
Yeah... I get way more evil survivors than evil killers. However, that might just be because of the math: as survivor, there's 3 others who also have to be decent. As killer, there's 4 others.
-
Gwent or a single player RPG.
-
One where I had fun.
