Most important part is to realize that the result of the match is not a representation of your skill but the Survivors. If you face skilled players, your chances of getting a good match result are very small. If you accept that, you can go through such hopeless matches a lot more relaxed because you realized there is not much you can do to avoid it. Just play through the match and hope for a better one next time.
Also, don't hesitate to camp, tunnel or slug them when they're giving you a hard and frustrating time. Play as if the Survivors were bots.

I got good enough as a killer that if survivors are toxic it doesn't really matter to me.
For example, SWF tend to be more altruistic, I don't mean camp the hooked survivor, just don't go too far and go back to the hook often, you'll likely find more and sometimes you might even get a grab.
In the end it comes down to experience, the more you play the better you become and the less you care

The object classes are based on how easy they are to contain: Safe=Easy/No containment Required, Euclid=No Idea of What Could Happen, Keter=Will Definitely at Least Try to Escape, Thaumiel=Can be Used to Contain Keters, Apollyon=You Can't Contain It Just Run.

Guess the killer is trying to be toxic or is an idiot.
About Billy, if the killer does what you described before then you must be at low ranks, I do that only when there are only two survivors and one of them is on the hook, so that I can find the other one when he saves.

I also agree that if a person DCs before a second/final hook, that's as good as a hook. No pity for the rest required - I'm taking super early DCs. I will say I think most appreciate it and say so - don't let the 10% ruin the vibe for the 90%.
I'm sure there's nuance for Billy, and I have played as him zero times - but it escapes me. I see them hook, then basically wait for the unhook to charge back in and catch someone. If they screw up, they charge into the next gen. No hunting, no real strategy.

It makes me sad when I go against Legion, just not fun at all. And I wish I went against a Billy so many times, at least it is a challenge against him. I do enjoy playing Nurse, but since I play on PS4 it's a bit difficult, I do get 4ks from time to time.

Day 1: Hag kills Trapper because her traps are better. Kate kills Wraith, why?! My poor boy. Jane is racist but misses and kills Jake. Legion kills Billy. Leatherface Popsicle. Jane goes Huntress on David.
Day 2: Huntress forgets her survival skills. Ace stalks Hag <3 Clown is scared of black people. Nurse kills Plague. Spirit kills Legion with her sword. Meg kills Claudette. Feng is an idiot, she dead.
Day 3: Meg takes hostages, kills Jeff. Clown dies from hunger.
Day 4: Jane is officially going insane. Adam and Docta kill Nea. Dwight kills Adam.
Day 5: Nurse kills Jane and Hag kills Dwight.
Day 6: Spirit kills Ace and Hag kills Docta!
Day 7: Spirit Popsicle. Nurse blows Meg and Hag up.

I use this name on a lot of things because I have a bad memory sometimes, having only one name makes it easier.
I just put my initials in front of Gaster, at the time I created this name I was a fan of Undertale and W. D. Gaster intrigued me.
But I'm thinking to changing it into a more funny name, just need to think about it a bit.

I don't know if you like Battle Royale games but I have to say that Apex Legends is a whole lot of fun.
I don't know other online horror games apart of DBD, at least not any good ones so I'm just gonna tell you some games I really enjoy.
For Honor: A medieval-fantasy game where you can try and find the answer of who was history's greatest badass between the Samurai, Knights, Vikings and Wu Lin (Chinese).
Titanfall 2: Made by the same people who made Apex Legends. Great single player campaign, and the multiplayer is fun as hell with a steep learning curve. You might suck at first, but once you get good at it you wil feel like a badass. Futuristic FPS.
Rainbow Six Siege: Unfortunately I haven't been able to enjoy this game as much as I did lately. This is a tactical, hero based FPS. Many characters (Operators), each with their own unique gadgets, there is also the Recruit which has no unique gadget but can hold two different shared gadgets (Grenades, breaching charges, deployable shields, C4, etc.). Two teams of five, attack and defence. There are 3 game modes: Bomb, Hostage, and Secure Area. Secure Area speaks for itself, in Hostage you have to capture or protect an hostage (Killing the hostage causes your team to lose), in Bomb you have to defuse or protect two chemical bombs.

These are some examples that come to mind.
Evolve, haven't played it but I hear it has some problems as far as balance goes.
Friday the 13th the game, was big once, now it's pretty much dead.
Last Year: The Nightmare, I don't know the state of this game.

Since I am on PS4 I usually send ggs and compliments if the killer was really good and fun to play against, hoping they don't have messages disabled. I have never sent a gg to a survivor, if they are good they are usually toxic as well.
