On the killers screen you haven't vaulted yet. It looks like a completely valid hit to them. This is caused by latency. You and the killer and the other survivors aren't all seeing the exact same thing at the exact same time. When you've vaulted already the killer is seeing you begin to vault or is the midst of the vault animation.
-
Ruin definitely isn’t the DS counterpart and isn’t the most used killer perk. Ruin is also pretty bad when you aren’t combining it with another perk.

It matters to me because there's obviously a pattern and reasoning for the characters they add and people who fail to see that pattern get their hopes up for chapters they want in the game and then cry and whine about it when their super detailed conspiracy theory of their favorite OP killer being added to the game is invalidated.
I don’t like the idea of a Pennywise chapter, but they could easily do Mr.X. He spends the whole game slowly walking at you, punching you, and grabbing you. He’s not more op than Pyramid Head.
-
I want a pirate or a knight. A lovecraftian Davey Jones type killer would be dope.
-
Genuinely... Who cares? They can make anything they want to work work. Applying the logic of how the character works in their own world is pointless because that’s not how they’ll work in the game. If it’ll bring in more players they’ll do it.
Original killers are better than licensed tho

There are "less" meta perks for killers. I did not finish my personal research, because blight came out and one meta perk came with him.
- BBQ
- Pop
- Ruin
- Undying
- Nurses
- NOED
- Corrupt
After that, it allready seemed to fall off, with thana / sloppy / infectious fright next on the list.
I’d actually put infectious fright pretty high on the list. Instadown snowbally killers use it a lot. Same with M&A. STBFL is universally great on m1 killers. To the point of where I’d say it’s more meta than Nurses.
Though, I would say the only true meta killer perks are Pop, Corrupt, Ruin, and Undying. The meta shifts a good bit from killer to killer. Like for a Spirit Stridor is meta, but not great on other killers. I’m All Ears is whatever... Until a Nurse or PH uses it.

All I want devs repair nurse bugs.
But I would like devs remove his stun after doing tp's I feel she already has a lot of things going against her power.
Honesty, I’d say remove the fatigue and just stick with her recharge. The only problem is doing so would be a direct buff and even with her double cool-down she’s oppressively strong in the right hands.

I'd like to see Leatherface reworked. It isn't that I think he is OP per say, but that his learning curve is zero. He is an M1 Killer with Insta-Down who is 115%, so the slow down during the tantrum is moot. He isn't going to tantrum until he is on top of you anyway. The stereotype of the Basement Bubba is deserved because why wouldn't he camp the basement? His tantrum pretty much assures he will get both people. Obviously, I just stay away from the basement if possible, and I don't constantly lose to Bubba, but the games are never fun. They are tedious and repetitive. There is NEVER any variation in Bubba playstyle because he is so basic.
*And as a side note, because there is no learning curve, I run into Bubba more than any OTHER Killer.
I love being able to go full monkey brain while playing Bubba. He’s a perfect boi
-
I didn’t use it when I started playing Nurse because I didn’t want to become reliant on it. One of the reasons why I didn’t want to run Shadowborn... Which I now refuse to take off. I’d say just chalk it up to BHVR making yet another pointless add-on to suck up your BP.
-
He’s mid b tier. Definitely not op.
-
Eh, even if you have a very slug heavy play style you’ll still usually end up killing everyone with a hook. I’ve played some super sweaty nurse games where I had to slug very hard and have had one person bleed out, but it’s pretty rare.
-
Use whatever build you want. The opinions of others shouldn’t matter. The build is decent tho.

Lol yeah. I always have a hard time running STBFL because I can never resist hitting the obsession even with 8 stacks.
When I run STBFL I will throw games to keep stacks.

Is spirit really that easy to pick up?
If you understand the fundamentals of the game she’s easy to play and do well with.
-
When the blink spams you need to spam M1 and it SOMETIMES fixes it. Nurse is a buggy mess and it’s not talked about because very few play her often. The next tome is going to bring a flurry of threads about how broken Nurse is.
I started learning her a few weeks ago and it pays off. I only run corrupt for slowdown now and do great most of the time. Even with her bugs and double cooldown she is oppressive.

Poggers

I think I’d like to see how they handle a killer that maybe moves faster than the average killer, but with a weaker power. Like instead of 110 or slower with insane chase potential (nurse, slinger, Hag, huntress) a 120 with like a power that’s just ok.
I do feel like a 120 killer would just ruin some pallets and loops though.
-
I got reported and called a wall hacker once while I was playing Nurse with I’m All Ears.
-
I'll continue to admire Clown from a safe distance.
-
My first Nurse game I felt like using max blink range add-ons and got sent to Lery's.
-
lol

Whoa... You're really good 🤯

Hahaha good one you're one of those newbs who has no idea what you can do with OOO, aren't you?
Just finished a game with OOO. Yeah killer was low rank (crappy matchmaking) but if you know what you're doing and can outplay the killer it's possible to use OOO and ghost the killer the entire match. As long as the killer isn't sufficiently better OOO is a huge help to any solo Q survivor and can help you survive all the way to the end.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/FE0GE4FJOPAH/image.png
Funny thing apparently someone else had the same idea as me he also went in with OOO.
Omg you beat a rank 13 and rank 10 killer while using OoO? You’re good!
-
Ok... What would you implement to punish camping and tunneling? You bring up this problem and offer no solution. I seriously doubt you'll come up with a fix that won't be abusable.
-
Depends on the killer. A Nurse could only bring BBQ and Infectious and demolish your team. For killers that don't have mobility it's just some nice info, but mostly for BP. Thrilling is a much better choice if BBQ didn't have the BP multiplier.
-
Are we sure it's the attempt at an unhook that deactivates DS? I assumed that it was successful unhooks that deactivated it
-
Honestly might run it now
-
I haven’t seen anyone complaining about the changes so
-
Why not Marge Simpson and the killer could be Krusty The Clown. In my update they’d also add a legendary skin that turns The Twins into Itchy and Scratchy
-
Why should the killer break unsafe pallets they can go around them just as fast?
-
Dahmer you gotta chill man

That scenario isn't you tunneling though.
It is tho. That’s like saying you aren’t facecamping as Freddy because BT didn’t go off. You just worked around it. The only way I’d say to add hooking as a factor would be to have it not deactivate if you’re slugged when someone else is hooked.

Mr. X looks dumb with his stupid hat
You know nothing about fashion. Mr.X simply moderates a Discord server. It’s mandatory.
-
Nah, Mr.X is cooler
-
Please god no. BHVR shouldn’t touch the chainsaw boys ever again. They’ve put Bubba in an amazing place and Billy is fine. I honestly think they’d just make them worse.
-
Man got shot once by Deathslinger and then next game a survivor DH through his swing. Had to let us know.
-
@Blueberry said:
Well seeing as it doesn't deactivate on hooking a different survivor and the timer is still the same it still leaves you in a lose/lose in that scenario so it definitely isn't "cool".
The DS by itself is fine now though.
And it shouldn’t deactivate upon hooking another survivor. Hooking another survivor does not mean the killer didn’t tunnel you. Like if I facecamp with bubba I can easily down the unhooker and then the unhooked. Hook the unhooker and bypass DS if that change was implemented.
I agree DS + Unbreakable is still strong tho.

It was weird. Sometimes it would cut through undetectable (Like with Freddy in Dream State for constant wallhacks) but most of the time it wouldn't from my experience. It would just show T1 Myers, Stealth GF, Wraith, and Pig your location and tell you, as the Survivor, that it was a stealth killer as you didn't see an aura.
With that being said though, not quite sure why Demo is on this list, as he has really loud everything.
Freddy isn’t undetectable in the dream world. Survivors are just oblivious.
-
The only slowdown I run on Nurse is Corrupt and it's just so I can find someone at the start of the game easier.

But then you are literally doing nothing. You're just running around a totem to see the killer and can't do anything else efficiently. I think this would be a decent change to OoO to make it healthier for the game.
I wasn't saying it was a good strategy or something that the Devs need to worry about. I was just telling you that you theoretically could use undying and OoO to always see the killer because there's no cooldown.
-
@ChuckLit said:
What do you mean constantly giving out the killer's location? They will only see each other's auras for the duration of Undying's aura reveal, which is 6 seconds, isn't it?
There's no cooldown. You can step out of the radius and back in the reset it.
-
She’s riddled with bugs and barely playable. If Nurse mains are willing to deal with the double cool-down and plethora of deadzones and bugs I say let them have their fun. There’s literally a whole portion upstairs of Ormand’s main building that she can’t teleport through.
-
I’ve seen multiple times the change is due to future addition they have planned that clashed with the old hud. Could be BS tho
-
Lmao
-
People call Slinger op? I usually only see people calling him unfun. I think the opinion that mmr would be good for this game is a p bad one.

Golly!
You got 'em!
And this was even before Ruin/Undying/Tinkerer Freddy was a thing!
Admittedly, though, all those 60s Pops were really tearing up the game back then.
But yeah, you roasted that post from a year ago! Absolutely destroyed!
well gee whizz it's certainly my fault they put a year old post on the front of the forums and that you had an objectively bad opinion a year ago lmao

Another excellent contribution!
I believe further put downs and generalizations will really hammer home your superiority :3
lmao "forum gamers" got to you. Point was that you will fall asleep against Freddy and there's nothing that can be done about it.
"He's like the NOED of killers - You can negate his lullaby and snares/pallets (leaving him with just a slow cooldown TP if everyone stays awake), but why bother when you can just launch a nerf campaign?"
You said he's like NOED and that his power can be negated by just waking up. You can't constantly wake up and you aren't going to be such a god gamer that you wake up at the perfect time and negate his snares often. You're right tho. Simply don't ever get hit by the Freddy and constantly find teammates that are awake or wake up with clocks. It's just that easy.

10 months later, the prophecy has passed.
Took 10 months for someone to tell you that you’ll be asleep more than awake while playing against Freddy?

People find all killers boring to verse. However, you will find far fewer "clown is boring" or "demo is boring" threads than you will find "spirit is boring" or "freddy is boring" threads. The stronger the killer, the more frequent they are boring, there is a correlation to this.
No one says demo is boring. Boring killers are called boring because their power doesn’t give the survivor options in chase. It’s why Clown who isn’t strong at all gets called boring. Countering him amounts to “run to pallet. Drop pallet. Run away.” Demo doesn’t remove the survivor agency from chase. You can play around loops. Same with Blight who is one of the strongest killers. Freddy does a very similar thing to Clown while you’re asleep, stopping you from being able to play around loops, but he also has a cross map teleport and free slowdown add-ons that can stack with slowdown perks. Forever Freddy is a thing.
A majority of killers that get called boring often follow that formula. I’m sure you’d see more posts about Hag being boring if people cared to play her.
