You would think if a killer downed a survivor and the survivor has no way to pick themselves up, that the killer should pick up the survivor and hook them, but this isnt the most rewarding outcome
If the killer alternatively slugs the survivior, this starts a four minute timer that doesnt end, this effectively PROMISES one survivor is incapacitated until another survivior comes to get to them( same as if killer hooked, without wasting time) in which case makes half the survivors occupied. Also the action of survivors healing themselves a maximum of i think 95% before needing help takes 30 seconds
(It takes two minutes for a survivor to die on hook for reference)
So the killer can proxy camp a downed survivor, and as soon as they get up the killer can hit them again and get the other survivor with them. Perks can help with or against this game style on both sides.
Heres what I suggest
-After 1/4 of downed health time is gone, the survivors get a 100% increase to healing when in downed state
-After 2/4 of downed health time is gone, downed survivor’s can completely heal themselves from the dying state
-After 3/4 of downed health time is gone, downed survivors are affiliated with endurance and haste when unhooked.
-After 4/4 of downed health time is gone, the killer is effectively punished with the death not counting towards hooks progression, and will result in down-pipping regardless of previous emblems
“This rewards survivor’s to hide when slugged”
Yes… Doesnt it sound logical a dying survivor should try to hide from the killer, and not die instead of it? Also seeing as a killer is 800% faster (may be wrong) than survivor in dying state, if they lose sight of them it partially falls onto their fault.
Now is your problem that you sometimes just doesn't have time or couldn't pick up because flashlights and toolboxes or just people for a palette-save are near you, It would be pretty weird if I as a killer get punished for not being able to pick up because there are people near me, it's lose/lose.
Besides that YOU as a survivor are the one that doesn't want to wait 4 minutes bleeding out, now let's think what will most likely happen if you hide or you run to a place I can't hook you? ding ding ding, you're right you WILL bleed out because of your own stuborness, I as a killer shouldn't get punished for that. And where we talk about punishment, I couldn't care less about a depip, pips are worth absolutely nothing, they don't even make any difference at your bloodpoints, and even if they would: bloodpoints are pretty worthless for the most part too.
That all being said, I don't slug intentionally most of the time, but I won't let you punish me for that for free lol.

Speaking as someone who plays both sides extensively, being able to instantly down a survivor is not fair. Some one hit downs, like Oni, Michael, and Ghostface, can be sort've excused, since it has to build up, but even then - there's very little to no counter play.
And I get it, the defensive will be "GeT gOoD", but when a killer, like, say, Bubba, can instantly down you with no build up, where not even a palette can help you, there's a big problem. Looping only delays the inevitable.
What are you even talking about? If I want to down you with pig no matter the time invested, looping will only delay the inevitable too.
Looping does not, never will be and shouldn't save you completely from going down: you WILL go down at any point, if it wasn't like that the killer couldn't win at all lol.
"Very little to no counterplay" on michael, ghostface and oni: yes there is, you said it yourself, you have to loop them for a while until it runs out. The addons from michael are not to debate because that's the only exception and the only strong thing about him anyways.
Bubba was a absolute joke before his buffs, don't know how it's now but I don't think he's much stronger, he's useable now at best.
Well billy got buffed quite a bit and is pretty strong at the moment, but it's not like you couldn't loop him at all and sometimes m1s would be faster anyways.

One suggestion I have:
When the killer downs a survivor, if they allow the survivor to recover as much as possible (because they left to slug teammates) when they return to pick up the downed survivor the wiggle bar should be filled 20%-50% or so. That way the killer has to make a choice to slug or not.
Slugging on itself is not even a problem in a normal game, sometimes you just don't have time to pick up because you have to defend a gen or someone with a flashlight or toolbox is near you. The only thing that would be a problem would be bleeding out people intentionelly, but only if you could hook them.
Besides that your "solution" would only work in deadzones and therefore promoting me to bleed you out: I can't hook you there, so I'll bleed you out xD

I'm kind of wondering if the remote hooking came around for the event because a future killer we have coming has a remote hooking as a component of their kit so they already had the design. Think Dracula after he downs making them sinking them into a pool of blood and appearing on a nearby hook. This would be another interesting way of giving a specific killer better map pressure and time efficiency by making them waste less time picking up and hooking. An interesting way of doing that rather than just slapping another map teleport ability on them.
It would surely increase the preassure, but it wouldn't be something new because pyramid head already can do it and I'd feel it is a very boring way to make him stronger.
I'd rather have a interessting ability you have to use well to get good preassure than just some kind of remote-hook.
In the end it will probably drinking/absorbing blood to get stronger and maybe activate some kind of bloodmagic, maybe even different ones.

Anti tunnel perks for survivors busted and overpowered even if using only 1 of them. But if they combine 4 this perk its actually a guaranteed free escape. After babysitter buff its already became obvious how overpowered anti tunnel perks. Survivor doesnt like when killer combine 4 slowdown perk/ but full anti tunnel survivors build is the same way annoying to deal with on killer side. BHVR make exhausted effect for haste perks and thats a good way cause it would be impossible to deal with. Now its time do the same with anti tunnel perks cause how busted they are.
Anti-tunnel perks are easily countered in optimal case: just don't tunnel, and even if you do a single one is hardly a problem.
The problem starts if they bodyblock with it, of course it's someone that doesn't work on gens, but at the same time it takes the preassure you'd get through the down so the only thing they'd have to do is taking the collision off of them while a anti-tunnel perk is active.

It's not from survivors opening it. There is a timer on the top left which will indicate when the chests will open. Killers get stunned when within a close range. Survivors scream and become hindered.
ahh alright I understood it half at least, thank you for explaining. I just guessed you can open them like normal chests as survivor and then you get a random effect, but your version probably makes more sense xD

That indeed looks like one of my typical (Nurse) plays on Midwich. Sometimes survivors are together and linger around while I'm downing them one by one.
Obviously, the correct play for them would be to run as far away as possible instead of waiting for their turn.
I blame the matchmaking, really.
While I'm slugging, some are moving away and by the time I've finished, I only know where the last slug is.
At that point I'd hook the one though.
There is no reason not to.
I mean survivors bleeding out because they moved away and don't get found quickly enough is not your fault, it's their own fault because no one can stand up and there's not really a reason to make the killer lose you otherwise. Slugging at itself is perfectly fine as long as you at least plan to hook them (swfs that send you on badham are their own case, they want you to suffer so they shall be suffering too).

I bring moris every match I play as killer. They spice up the game allowing me to enjoy killer more. Survivors can disconnect in the loading screen and stop the match forcing all of us to go back to the lobby. It's a waste of time.
Survivors and killers should receive a disconnect penalty if they leave like this. They can bring offerings to sway the match and I don't leave. I do the same but they leave. Plus there are 4 of their offerings to my 1. It's a way to disrupt the game.
There's no real way to say if it crashed or was just canceled by the taskmanager, maybe it wasn't even the internet that was just gone for a moment, so they can't and won't punish them for that.
That being said I don't dodge games like that and I never use moris, so that's a problem I can't tell how often that happens.

I was playing yesterday with my aunt, and two friends…i know when the killer camps hook the bar to unhook yourself fills up but this killer was ghost face. I had gotten hooked and ghost face went into his stealth mode hiding behind a box camping me. My bar wasnt filling up. I personally (i know its a strong word but) hate killers like that. They ruin the game for everyone. has that happened to any of you guys before
Camping is a tool that helps you to win if used correctly, as long as you have gens to defend near you so you can camp without losing too much preassure, it's very effective and would be a bad play to not do it in that situation.
If the killer doesn't play chill he will probably always tunnel and camp because that's most consistent and increases your chance to win by a lot.
I personally only camp if the survivors are too slow with the unhook and only tunnel if the tunnel-out doesn't hide well. I'll always choose what gives me the win, but I won't go out my way to force it for the most part.

What are people's thoughts on the following: "this is the worst time to be playing as survivor in DBD"?
With the event, though nice to get Blood points, has actually been an extremely bad time to play as survivor?
Even switching to "normal mode" from the event mode hasn't felt good for me personally.
Do you think this event has made the game miserable - I know the conciseness from end game chats and discords I'm in all seem to think this event has really made the game feel… well… quite unfun and a drain to play. When compared to Chaos shuffle where it was always kinda crazy with such a variety of perks available.
People play the event for a difference yes, and from my understanding to gain the consistent extra BP it has to offer, but it has really left a lot of people unhappy after their gametime from my experience.
The killers ability to permanently remove a pallet from the game Vs. the survivors ability to put a temp pallet, doesn't seem to compare.
And a survivor blocking a window vs the killers way remote hook (removing the chance for perks like DS, Sabo's, and flashlights/bangs and even pallet saves, giving credence to the temp pallets being even weaker) - it just seems like it wasn't considered at all and again, is not comparable in terms of power/strength.
The redeeming ability with Quiet mode has been pretty good and helped me to escape a fair few chases, but scratch marks and the sheer volume of Aura reading perks nullifies it most of the times.
I've been put off my the game a fair bit.
What are others thoughts on this?
I agree that the abilitys are not comparable:
I personally don't really use the palette-breaking because I feel like it's cheap. I only do it if someone blocks a godwindow or something like that xD
The remote-hooking is just truely countering sabos, you can still save with palettes and flashlights like normal aswell as ds (you have to time it a bit better, but it works still).
You don't give the palettes enough credit, I agree against normal m1-killers, ranged or anti-loop they are pretty worthless, but agaist killers like blight, billy, demo, nurse, wesker, chucky and any other killer that you can stun with good timing it's annoying as hell, requires consistent timing and hopefully no clunckyness from the game of course.
The silent mode is crazy, I feel like the scratchmarks are broken at the moment, combined with the mode survivors ether get a lot of distance or just despawn entirely xD
Well the blocking is nice, but only relevant on god-windows xD

Considering they are on Midwich, it could easily be a Nurse who went to this Map.
Some people are just like that. Even tho it would be better if they would just uninstall, because if the only reason to play is to make it as miserable as possible for the other side, they should play single player games.
Yes the chances are high, there aren't a lot of killers that could 4 man slug with 5 gens on midwich xD

So slugging isn't reportable huh?...hey look at how many gens we did a nice big zero and how many hooks? Also a big zero. Your tell me this isn't a reportable offense because it's slugging. Full on crystal clear more clear then through then a freshly made window SO CLEAR THAT I CAN EVERYTHING THROUGH IT. But nope according to BHVR it isn't a reportable offense even though they never bother hooking anyone fun fact we all bled out. Yes someone DCed and did I report them for it no because I found it valid they DCed because they didn't want to wait 4 minutes bleeding on the ground because the killer just wanted to ruin a match for everyone "your fun isn't their priority." Okay...still doesn't mean they didn't ruin the match if BHVR wanted to stop slugging here's an easy solution...a give up or force bleed out button if all four survivors are one the ground and the killer isn't picking them up at all the survivor can "force bleed out" they disconnect from the match but their player stays still keeping the username so basically its a secret dc it let's the killer think they DCed when in reality their off playing a different match all it does is waste the killer's time and guess what the killer doesn't receive any BP from that survivor because of it.
I don't see why you should let all survivors bleed out in that situation, the only times I ever did that were on swfs sending me to badham or something like that. But that's entirely their own fault sending me on this horrible map and still losing xD
Well the bleedout button would be nice and is requested since a while, but I don't think any of them will care about the bloodpoints xD

It's every single event like that, I just play the best I can constantly because I really don't like losing to people just because they play sweatier than me. That being said I don't use the palette-breaking because it feels to cheap, I only use remote-hooks.
And yes I could farm with them in theorie but the time I use for that is so much more than for a normal round it feels like, so I really don't want to do that xD

Running in circles as killer and survivor is kinda getting old. Pulling off sabo and beamers is where I find mostt the fun. I can't remove a killer add on mid match so why can they remove my entire item as survivor? Remove Franklin's or make me waste a perk slot with an anti Franklin's perk every gane
I use a perkslot I could use to slowdown the game or chase faster for that, it's not even very strong on it's own. We don't even talk about the fact that you're only able to use it on m1-killers that aren't very strong most of the time xD
Besides that you maybe find the most fun in saving, but I find the most fun in hooking my survivors after I used time of my life to get them down, it isn't very fun to get them down it feels like 5 times because someone from the other side of the world runs to you with background player with a flashlight or toolbox lol xD

yeah sure but I think it’s overall balanced between killer and survivor. I could run main all day on that map. Than also connecting shack to some loops. Than the entire other side of the street is just nasty to play but yeah gens spawns on dead dawg absolutely favor killer but I think it’s a good trade off
It was just an example, I don't know too many maps I could say that they favor killer, dead dawg and midwich are just the ones I've seen often talked about like that.

tbh I don’t see a lot of map offerings used and survivors should love dead dawg. It’s easy to loop on that map and do is rpd (just gen spawns on rpd are just busted)
Lucky you, I sometimes get 5 in a row or more. I forgot badham btw, that's one that gets thrown a lot too.
Dead dawg might be good to loop but it's super small, it potentialy one of the best maps for killer to defend gens.

Please don’t get overly passionate or bashful about it but if you could sum it up easy then what would it be? (For both sides)
The thing I like the least in this game is probably map system. You’re bound to get a different realm every match unless there’s an offering but I constantly get the same realms every other match and typically the same map in that realm over and over. It’s so bad that there are certain maps that I just haven’t been on in months (a couple of them in over a year)
I don't really like map-offerings, both sides bring maps that are just horrible to play on as the other side. I don't want to play contantly on garden of joy, eyrie of crows or ormount, at the same time I don't want to drag the survivors onto midwich or dead dawg saloon.
It just destroys the rng-aspect of the game dragging the chances too much on the side of the offering.

Love the Masquerade, but the matches have been miserable. I get people enjoy winning, but curb stomping and denying basic game play for your fellow players is not cool :(. Like, there were 3 gens, 2 people on hook both stage 2, 3rd player JUST got downed and instead of picking up and giving me at least a chance to unhook, they leave them slugged, teleport(Hag) and insta-down because of the Expose Tryk. I understand that is part of the game. I probably sound entitled. But truly, there are some instances where a little courtesy is nice. The matches end violently quick. Isn’t the point of a videogame to PLAY a game? I personally don’t see how ending a match that quick constitutes a fun gameplay experience. Did you even play at all? Everyone is entitled to play how they want. ALL PARTIES please consider that you are playing with other people that also want to play a game. Best wishes, the Dwight that can’t loop ❤️
I mean, why should the hag drag the match much longer than it has to be?
2 people are deathhook if unhooked so you have 2 people that have to hide probably and aren't very efficient with that anyways, otherwise they're just dead.
So the killer could make the match a 3vs4 or even 2vs4 at which point the match is already over. Even if he doesn't the inefficient 2 survivors won't preassure enough to win probably so there's no reason to let that happen.
You may be right that you all would be able to play longer, but why would you like to play in a match that's already lost that's purely alive because the killer had mercy? xD

There's a common sentiment expressed that survivors who used to like going against Billy and hate going against him now only liked going against him because he was easy to vs. There may be some merit to this argument, but I'd like to propose the converse. People who used to not play Billy and only played him after the buff like him now because he is now easy to play and no longer requires as much skill to achieve great results.
People complain about Billy being too oppressive in chase but for me it's not so much the killer that annoys me but the type of players that gravitate towards current Billy. Pre-buff Billy mains were dedicated masters of their craft who chose to play a difficult killer with a high skill ceiling. Most of them only focused on getting good chases and hitting great curves. Despite people complaining that he used to be weak, I guarantee you that a good Billy main would've still destroyed you. And when they do destroy you, you only feel respect for them. Post-buff Billy attracts the type of players who want to achieve the greatest results for the least amount of skill (this is also shared with Skull Merchant players). That's why you see most of them always run engravings and boots (to make sure they don't get punished for messing up), rev mindlessly to farm overdrive, and run triple/quad slowdowns on an already oppressive killer. When current Billy destroys you, you don't feel like the Billy earned it. In the current state of DBD, it takes significantly more skill for survivors to win against a Billy than it takes to perform well as Billy.
All this is to say that Billy was better for the game when he was gatekept. If I was an OG Billy main, I'd be pissed that the chad population of Billy mains got diluted because BHVR decided to dumb down Billy for casuals. But that's just me.
I can just speak for myself, but I never touched him before because I couldn't live with his clunkyness, they've made him a lot less clunky so now I play him. Same with twins.
They both felt increadible awful to play for me so I never played them, I accept that he isn't too hard to play at the moment, but I don't play him because of that just now .

No wonder this game will never make E sports.
Well the amount of bnp's, gen-speed builds and people that throw in beautiful map-offerings like garden of joy, eyrie of crows and ormount tells me that I have to play that way (I hate all of them).
Of course it's sometimes overkill, but in my experience you just get punished for no reason if you don't play serious, so I'm basically always playing like this, no matter if it's a event or normal game or normal people or sweaty people.

In the mean time, buff We'll Make It to 500% heal speed and Resurgence to 90%

I was just thinking about how much these forums have changed the way I play both roles and was wondering if anyone else has ever drastically changed their playstyle and/or avoided adopting one due to concerns raised?
For example, when MFT came out and I saw the disdain Killers had for it, I used it in one match in which it was required for a Tome Challenge and never touched it again.
I'm currently avoiding the FD + Weave combo because of the Survivor frustrations.
I used to proxy camp and Tunnel, now it will only happen if I'm provoked (T-bagging) or if it's really getting late game.
Those are a few examples. Have you experienced this? Changing your playstyle due to reading fellow forum users concerns.
Nope, I only change my playstyle after my own experiences. In my experience no survivor will ever thank you for not tunneling and camping and probably insult you if you loose, so I just do it if I get the chance and I don't care what survivors say to that.
I even find it funny when they insult me, it's mostly people playing sweaty/sweaty builds themself or entire swfs xD

If a comp mode were to exist how would you want it to be? Highest mmr with and against highest mmr? Instead of putting one expert, two intermediate, and one novice on a team?
Perk bans? No limits? What would a comp mode look like to you?
I would like a ranked 1vs1 mode.
The maps change in a certain timewindow but are always the same for all players (if bhvr even has a seed-system?).
The killer and survivor changes in a certain timewindow aswell, of course the rules get changed if the killer is blight or nurse.
You would always spawn shack with the killer on door- and survivor on palette-side (they can't move until the game starts).
Both of them can choose 2 perks and the survivor get a firecracker.
The game starts with a 10 second timer after the survivor crouches and after the timer the killer is forced to do a fully launch-attack in the direction he's looking.
The win-condition is to have a higher-survivaltime than the opponent as survivor.
I don't really know how the point-system for the ranks should work but that's the idea so far.
(That's just the basic-concept I thought about, it's mostly the 1vs1-rules I saw on youtube, but I don't know them all so I probably forgot a few)

I like the random effect-system and tryks herself. At the same time I don't really like using the palette-break because it feels cheap most of the time and the remote-hook is really cool on low-tier killers but feels way too strong on blight and nurse xD
Fake-palettes are super annoying, they aren't strong by themself, but on killers like billy, blight (sometimes) and so on it's really annoying because you nearly can't miss the stuns (alone because of the fact that you get stunned by palettes sometimes besides them ) xD

There is no ingame reason to ever play certain Survivors, unlike how it is with Killers, where each has a set of special powers. I myself only play 1 or 2 survivors ever, even though I have them all. There just isn't any reason to play them.
As a suggestion, pick one or more of their unique perks and make them base kit on them or some such. Or come up with something entirely new.
You really want even worse of a balancing? They don't even get the balancing right if only killers, addon, perks and items are affecting the match, it would be even worse with a ability for every survivor.
Besides that you wouldn't make the situation better, you would even more encourage to only play the same few survivors because they have the best abilitys, or why do you think you see the same few perks most of the time? xD

After 5 long years of playing DBD I have no clue how the idea of an item scrapper has not come to fruition. everyone who I bring the topic to agrees that it would be a remarkable idea though the dumping of Millions of Blood points I'm still sitting with 100s of Small pouches of salt and 100s more of other low quality items that i just have no need for at all we the community are begging for this change even 25% of the BP back would be an upgrade from having dead inventory is what us retail sellers call it. Also, side note has your ever given thought to Shared item inventory for survivors because why not we share the same list of items and survivors are basically skins at this point. Worth a thought. thank you for reading
There where some people that already had that idea, they just never added it for some reason. But I guess they also did take years to make the bloodweb more managable so maybe they just need time for that xD

In addition to that you bump so easily that it is quite annoying to play him now, you have a slight angle towards a wall and you bump... Bump logic is way more reliant than hug tech ever was, so all that has been done is remove a layer of risk reward type of plays.
In addition it's still not 100% consistent, especially if your time is running out and often on round objects you still slide, some cars are also still not 100% consistent. So they sacrificed a colision that was more or less consistent if you know what you're doing, for a collision that's still not perfect and you can't even hit 180 around corners anymore if you're running on the wall directly because you'll always bump.
Also doors are near impossible to navigate now, RPD is so much worse now. Garden of joy bushes are also much worse somehow xD

Lol I never once seen this rare moment of a "nice chat" 99% the end game chat is either gg or some toxic #########. Personally when someone says gg they never mean it. It something ppl say bc they feel like they have to, it not like they actually mean it. Actually I find gg pretty insulting when the game was in fact not a good game. The last thing I want to see is a group of survivors who clearly beat my ass say "ggs" at the end of a match. This is why I never say ggs. I just hit the next button and go into the next match.
Either way I do agree I don't think end chat should be removed but I also think it adds absolutely no value to the game. Console players don't even have it after all they doing just fine.
Well like already written above I also have my fun with people that are absolutely toxic and can't loose, they are funny to chat with xD
Yeah you're right the nice chats are rarer than toxic, but they exist. The chance of getting them is it worth to let the chat exist for me.
To the "ggs": I write "ggs ^^" after every single match just to be nice, the result doesn't matter aswell as the people I played against, I'll always do it. I don't find it insulting in anyway personally and even if anyone feels that way I just don't care. It's not my task to teach them to interprete it right, if they feel insulted it's their own fault, it wasn't my intention so I don't care what they say to that.

Yeah you will oftentimes get nice chats, but I also appreciate the complete lunatic tantrums people throw, quite hilarious how mad someone can get over a game and how creative they are with their insults ^^
Yes it's quite funny, they often don't even realize how little sense they things they say make xD

I ask because I've had a ton of people give up early against him I don't know if this is because I put too much pressure on them or if they don't like vsing a Chucky.
I try to go out of my way not to tunnel (unless you body block or do a gen I ignore you). But people are still giving up more than when I play Skull Merchant.
Thoughts?
I mean I didn't play against nerfed chucky yet, but I can't think about a way that he would be worse to play against now.
Sure you have only 2/3 of the cooldown from before, but you can't scamper anymore not even through windows even tho no one complained about that. So there's no reason he would be that awful to play against xD

Dear Behaviour,
First of all thank you for a great game, it has been a pillar of the horror community for many years and hopefully more years to come. However I see a glaring issue with the game that - in the years I have dedicated to playing this game - feel us unhealthy for the community.
End game chat, most of the time it's used to either say the disingenuous "gg" or to spew hatred. I understand there is an option to "minimise" the chat but I don't think that's enough, I would like an option to [or completely remove] End game chat, the community doesn't need it and it holds no actual purpose.
But I find it funny to be completely "destroyed" by the poor ace thinking he's god after he tbagged me and died xD
Jokes aside (well kind of, I really find it funny xD), I really enjoy to talk to people at the end. Sure there are a lot of people just completely throwing tantrums, but there are also people you can talk to and have a nice chat.
That's why I think it should stay and you can just minimize it

Challenge don't get a 4K on hag using the same build from 2 years ago and not having played her since:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0fJnRWAv8qU
It's soley a matchmaking issue, I don't even get hard games as a killer.
Just really bad survivors. I can't even bring myself to 4k them any more because there is nothing they can do.
As someone who mained her a long time ago I can tell you that this is the worst hag gameplay you will ever see - I still win every time.
EDIT: Also as you can see the matchmaker already took quite a while (but that was probably because it was late at night) and the quality was still horrendus - something is very broken in there. I should just like in the previous session not be able to just win 95% of the time without even using any/meta addons/perks.
Well the mmr of killers you didn't play a while gets taken down to make it easier playing them again. Besides that if you don't kill them you don't gain mmr, so of course you won't get harder matches like that.
I don't know what it is in your case that it's so horrible but I get mostly balanced matches or matches where I get destroyed as killer. Well I don't play hag so I don't know if it's a problem with her maybe xD

Issue is survivors under 1k hours simply don't know how to play against Hag, because she is just rare to play against and noone bothers to do research.
That's true but nothing bhvr could change in any way with the matchmaking, even if they get a worse hag they wouldn't win that probably because you can just camp way to easy with her outside of her normal playstyle and they still don't know it. They'd have to give solo-queue more informations and give them easy material to learn the counterplay, well or they have to learn themself but that's the same they could do now xD

No the tradeoff for fast matchmaking is what I showcased in my gameplay recording: Constant, unfun, unbalanced games even though the sides are supposedly balanced just because the matchmaking is not strict at all.
Am I prepared to wait longer but instead get to play the game? Yes.
If you want more proof how broken this is I had 2 games in all of my killer games since I recorded this where I actually got outplayed (with 0 perks and 0 addons).
All other games I just got the 4K or should have gotten it but let them all live or gave hatch because I can't ######### ######### on bad players all day while pretending this is fun or fair (which is what no joke a lot of killers do right now lol).On my 2 year old build on hag with surge and ruin IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO NOT GET A 4K.
On my 400h survivor main with all meta perks IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO ESCAPE ONCE IN 20 GAMES (one nice killer shows up once in a while that lets me escape or farm so I can technically not report a higher non escape rate).
If you constantly get 4k's with hag with surge and ruin you're ether a god at hag OR you didn't win enough to get good survivors. I play almost constantly against people with 2k to 9k hours and I'm pretty sure you wouldn't win a lot of them with hag and that build xD
To survivor: I feel like the killers are pretty balanced for me, but my teammates are often potatos that think it's funny to cleanse against hag next to my chase. I don't think it's nessasary a problem for me at least because I should get people that are at least okay if I get a higher mmr, but I see why people don't like it like this and they should probably try fixing it .

There's too many issues in regards to elevation changes.
For example, on Lampkin Lane he can cast the skulls through houses that are sitting on foundations and they are unavoidable.
Same thing when cast from stairs or anything else that causes elevation changes.
It just feels like it's a lack of foresight to have the crouching counter be completely nullified by elevation change in terrain.
His skulls are already too easy to avoid because the crouching is literally holding strg for a moment, let the poor boy have it's one case where his skulls could be usefull every 40 seconds (probably a lot more and only specific maps) xD

This is a rant, I'm saying it now because some things in here are ideas that literally sound like they're coming from someone upset and they are. They can be taken seriously, then can not be taken seriously, it does not matter.
The event queue was, at least theoretically, made so that people who wanted to play regular dbd didn't have to interfere with those who wanted to have fun and play the event. However, I can count on one hand how many times as survivor a killer did not camp, tunnel, or slug starting at 5 generators during the event. I play both sides so I really don't want to hear about "think of the killers' or "Oh but the challenges xyz" not a single challenge in the event tome says "Slaughter all 4 survivors at 5 generators no exceptions or your gaming pc/console is going to explode" because that's how killers are acting during this event. I believe right now, if you can prove the killer saw a different survivor but still chose to tunnel, then that killer should be banned from the event queue for however long, obviously not the entire time because limited stuff and things, but there should be a real penalty.
I have found between playing both sides of this event, both killer and survivor, the only side there's an active struggle on that hasn't just come down to "get better" is survivor. 99.9% of the issues I've seen from the killer side have legitimately just come down to "I could be better at patrolling" or "I should have dropped a chase sooner". Maybe that's me.
Sorry to the killers that are genuinely being wholesome and fun or just being normal and not a complete douche to face, but these are my legitimate feelings on the matter. If we're going to have a queue dedicated to the event and doing event stuff, people shouldn't have to deal with others sweating so much. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna switch to killer because I'm done with the other killer players today, you all are being insufferable.
Anyways that's my rant for now, thank you for listening. I feel better.
First of all how would you prove it?
and second: how many people at bhvr do you expect to be only there to check if your "prove" is right? That would take an insane amount of people to get consistently done without waiting-times xD
Besides that you're saying that killers should have to play inefficient to not get a penalty:
If I see a target that's dead and a target on firsthook of course I take the dead person no matter if I'm tunneling or not. It wouldn't make any sense to take the first hook because I don't gain any meaningful preassure from that in contrast to the dead person.

I already know this is wildly unpopular for some reason, and I know some just say it without question, but i just wanted to share my unpopular thoughts.
Saying GG as the winning side first is unsportsmanlike IMO. It should always be the loser saying GG first, every time.
I say this is because was it really a GG when it was a stomp? Or when the whole game X person was being toxic, tbagging, clicking flashlights, etc.. then says "GG" at the end, as if they're a good sport smh. Also, most people only say it when they win, almost never when It's a loss. I can somewhat prove this, by looking at some people's streams. I just skip to the endgame chat, and notice most TTV's only say GG when It's a win, and when they lose, they just go next immediately or be toxic asf. Like why bother saying GG if you're not gonna say it every single game? It's pretty annoying and douchey, at least IMO. Like how is it sportsmanlike if you only say it when the game went your way?
Me personally, I haven't said GG in like the past 7 years, because I view it as rubbing salt in the wound, unless of course the loser said it first, then whatever I guess. I'll say literally anything else besides that. It's just a douchey thing most people do without realizing it, again IMO at least.
If you're gonna be sportsmanlike, at least wait for the loser to say it first, otherwise, say nothing or leave some encouragement. Now's the thing:
I write "ggs ^^" after any single game just to be nice from my side, the outcome is not relevant, you could interpret it right and think I'm doing it to be nice or you could interpret it like you would. If you're interpreting it right is nothing I can change and I honestly don't care, the only relevant thing about that is my intention and not what you're thinking about that, especially if you're just misunderstood it for no real reason.
I won't wait for anyone ether, I write it as soon as I get out and I don't care if I'm the first or third one to write it. The intention doesn't change with it so I don't care about that ^^

How is it possible that Vecna with 1 ability to snipe, 1 to antiloop, 1 for information and literally there is no movement speed reduced noticeable, its not the same like Artist speed f.e, when she starts to spawn a crow or cancels it.
This killer it is not OP, but that thing doesn't seems fair according to the rest of the roster, even with that amount of power mentioned. You should balance it asap.
FOTD is completely worthless outside of spawning them on top of survivors, mage hand is good but not uncounterable and the sphere would be nice information if you didn't get them 20 seconds later than you needed them.
It would be ridiculous to make him much slower while casting with that amount of downsides, no other killer I know has that many xD

4th game in a row where the survivors just give up on first hook. Can’t even enjoy the event. I shouldn’t have to play “fun” killers in order to play the game.
Well it's skull merchant so it's to be expected even if it's annoying.
But you're really unlucky, played at least 5 round of blight with a good build and 2 with nurse with adept and didn't get a single dc. Most people seem to be pretty okay with playing the game in the event xD

So was just chasing someone and for some reason, not chase started at all. Not on first hit, not at z wall, nada. Is that an event thing cause we didnt see it anywhere. Not talking about bloodlust, chase as in music and points.
I think it's a bug that can happen rarely, it's in the game since years as far as I know xD

you are the type of killer who puts their anger on solo queue because they were destroyed by swfs
And solo-queue is known for being so efficient in sabo- and flashlight-saves that they would care about this? I'm gonna admit that the hooking is pretty broken on fast killers, but on normal ones like huntress it's hardly a problem xD
Nothing against you, just found the sentence funny xD

@ChronoSeth said:
No killer should be able to tunnel and remove a player from the event simply because they brought a mori.
Whats the difference? I'm pretty sure remote-hooking is quicker anyways, so the killer is even wasting time with the mori xD
-
@Yharwick said:
For people that play killer have you ever had games where you have no intent of tunneling but there's just one survivor that's just very obviously worse than the other three?
Never hides effectively, doesn't last in chase has very little game sense and does things like just stands at hook too long after being unhooked while the unhooker is long gone?
What do you do in these situations? It seems like if it's not a SWF the team never takes chase for these types of people and you know you could get them dead in record time if you wanted to but it seems mean especially now with anni going on? Lately on death hook if I down them I'll slug them once and give them one more chance but it tends not to make a difference and they still wind up dying first no matter what. I wanna play my role and actually kill but it seems like the matchmaker just doesn't work for one person in every lobby and it feels bad.
Well I only tunnel if I find the person randomly, means I'd probably tunnel the person you're discribing because she's hiding very badly. Sometimes I slugged people like this once too, but I had games where that costs me the game, so I typically don't do that anymore xD
