You know what's also funny is these people who claim they love the orginal content so much why are the rest of the original killers we do have are not your main,and if so why care about any other killer that gets in the game if I had a main, my concern would lie in new buff's, nerfs and cosmetics imo which I've posted ,not on this account because yes I've had a couple 😮 when Legion was my main but I still wanted a license main to, but after the updates he feels boring now so I guess it's back to maining huntress who gets a good supply of cosmetics so no complaints there

Hi OP here, and that's not what I am doing. So maybe don't put words into people's mouths. I agree with many people so far, such as the licensing ones having to dish out constant money. That's not something I have the luxury to afford at the moment (even with how cheap it can get, and it's really great that you can and will get all DLC, congrats) whereas originals can be bought with shards which I could use at the moment to get almost 4 characters worth.
But also LcGaster brings up an amazing point, one that killed the Friday the 13th game. Licensing won't last forever. The more they keep adding the more potential of running into problems in the future. I literally know nothing about this process and would hope BHVR has got all that secured for a long time. But taking into account how Friday the 13th was handled you just can't be too sure anymore and that's a scary thought that could happen to this game (probably won't because bhvr is awesome).
And as I stated before, lisenced dlc is great and fun but maybe don't release 3-4 chapters in a row that are just that. Mix it up a bit more.
I didn't say I can afford it did I. I just said I buy all the DLC's original and licensed, I'm not sure what's your point. Mathieu Cõte said this literally our game so I merely support it, if you play fortnite I don't just as example the game is free but you have to pay for new skins and vbucks and no one complains about that, robolx has tons of content that people buy on a regular basis no one's complaining about giving them money plus the Left 4 Dead DLC was completely free and if we're just getting a paragraph that means it's a way cheaper to buy DLC. I'm a console player and you have to pay to play, no ones complaining about that. This is like I said just one of those threads where you don't want a specific person to have something just have that feeling, also you said you have shards to pay for four characters when the originals start coming back sounds to me like you're set. I think you should just appreciate what we have going I'm not a super fan of the originals but I find myself playing those characters the most plus I'm either a Jeff Main or Jake main I can't decide yet and like someone said you barely even see people playing characters like Trapper my matches usually are Ghostface,Myers, Freddy,Leatherface Spirit, Huntress,Wraith,Nurse,Hag I rarely ever see Clown into play.
Survivor side Laurie, there's always a Ash ,Bill, Tapp, multiple Quinton mains and pretty much the entire survivor roster, If they added Kyle from child's play you're going to see her alot
I'm pretty sure they no what there doing business wise so it's not your concern are mine's.

I understand that you'd like to see all your horror icons in the game, but they don't have to come all out in a row
My idea is that they could aim to release two licensed chapters and two original ones per year, it should reduce, if not completely remove, the frustration of having too many licenses in a row
I mean I'd like to see my favorite slasher come to this game , but others have hopes to XD

@THEghostface I know and that kind of scares me, chapter 15 might not even be licensed, its a full map, but it could be the Pennywise chapter and I highly doubt they'll do anymore licensed killer's after that for awhile

Too many licenses can be dangerous to the game in the long run as well
We already got 3 licensed "Chapters" in a row, one more and it will be the second time it happens, original killers are more interesting, and people don't have to spend cash to get them

That's totally understandable but it just seems like that this is another one of those threads to discourage others from buying something that they might enjoy given the chance, I too am neither of those things but as a horror community this is a a chance to see our favorite slasher's brought to life. I want that to happen sorry.
If people don't want to buy it that's also a choice ,you don't have to spend your money on every single DLC but I do. You still get to see the killer and play on the maps, and most likely all the Fog Whisperers will be playing the PTB and usually playing the new content for the first two weeks if they main that Killer or new survivor then more down the line, so you still get to enjoy it in away.
I just hate to see these treads about not adding licensed chapter's, To a horror game based on killers vs survivor's its literally the perfect combination
Also you said that it hurts the game in the long run when the community has grown larger since the Ghostface and Evil Dead chapter's I do watch the numbers it went from 12.k to 16.k and I think its maybe at 32.k now so that's a major increase I don't play SWF so can't give a synopsis on matchmaking nor do I know every bug that needs to be fix, But a good amount of those things are cleaned up with the hot fixes they deliver which they take all of you guys feedback to try to fix these thing's. I do agree if there's a problem with matchmaking issues they should fix asap because people have payed there money and expect to play with there friends. Everything else just seems to make up for funny moments Hinch 4gamers
It just sounds really objective towards other members of the community who might be expecting the devs to add their favorite killer or survivor which there's two more chapter's left on this roadmap 14,15 and then after that it will most likely be a year of orginal content so I don't think the person are people who've made these threads should try to discourage others from licensed chapter's

@LCGaster trying to get a boycott started eh, why can't you just not purchase the content ? I mean what does you not buying the new content change, but if you need a break take it, but the content will still be their you understand right what is it you don't want to happen? you should not be worried there will be no Chucky and I want have a favorite slasher : ( they can add all the slashers they want but if it's not Chucky I really don't care but I think the others are cool 👍

I had a idea for Pennywise power, maybe it's to much programming. 🤷♂️
But anyway what if each survivor's had a legitimate fear of something, say if Claudette was a afraid of spider's and she ran into a balloon it explodes, and covers her with blood and the blood would eventually wear off but during when she's trying to preform actions like unhooking, fixing generators the spider's would manifest crawling on the gens and on her hands but this would slow her progression and actions down drastically
Say if Dwight was afraid of being alone and if he was covered in blood or in the face, he wouldn't be able to see other survivors until it wore off like they could literally be standing in front of him but because his fear is active they would be totally invisible to him and ect.

You would do away with Mori's, but have survivor keep Brand New Part ,Tool Boxes, etc. and all while having a single killer take down 4 survivor's and having to hook each survivor twice which often you'll be in a chase with each survivor 1:30 seconds two 2:00 minutes 10 seconds to hook if you multiply that.
It's a total of 14 minutes which is basically the standard match time but,some survivor's are able to get out in 9 minutes which Mori's cut half that time and I'll say once again takes away the power of a really strong team.
It's not a good idea to change them or remove anything.The entire thing is balanced this way.

Absolutely not takes away the power to eliminate power from a strong team who can blast through gens with perfect skill checks.
And good survivors you probably won't see them until they've completed at least two generators.
Mine you still have to catch them which is quit difficult, if there running you to all the pallets on the map.
If you have been playing this game a while a killers natural instinct will be to give survivor's two hooks for fairness and points for themself.
I think that would be to time consuming for a killer there's going to be toxic killers on here that can't be help but they are free to play as they wish.

If you begin a teleport you get an overhead view for a brief moment say 5 seconds then you're able to place a marker where you teleport

I keep reading that people want original content,saying things like oh the dev's need to come up with there own idea but you're forgetting each killer that is license has to be moldel completely from the ground up, then on top of that they have to build around the lore of this killer survivor which they have to pick individual effects that either the survivor or killer can do. The powers the killer use's is from the movie put they have to literally find it and make it work so it gives that killer and survivor there own individualism. You act like having a license killer is affecting you in some way when in fact you are a main to one of the orginal killers or survivor's. Why can't you allow other people to enjoy what may come. I spoke to someone who says yeah well we all did'nt grow up on these movies but a good majority who came to Dead By Daylight has an we expected them to add more license content in the future, because we're horror fan's who love those movies and this game. I myself have been playing since 2017 which is I believe before was a couple of months after Michael Myers and or before I can't really recall but I think it was before because the first killer I mained was The Huntress which I'll probably main again I just haven't played her much because of all the new killers coming into the game but it's not just a complete rip from the movies like I said each licensed character has there own individualism that the devs must find and build.

I'm all for Pumpkinhead being in the game as far as his powers he seems to be able to climb and always know where his targets are maybe he would be an ability killer, but I'm rooting for this also

Pennywise is not a god, he's a creature from the Macroverse,Yes he has powerful telepathy and can shapeshift,but this does not classified him as a god maybe amongst other supernatural killers, but he was created by another who's name is Gan which is a God.The It creature is capable of reproduction and has weaknesses due to the form it inhabits and has to obey those laws. The It creature can simply be beaten all through the power of belief. He may as well be a more powerful Demogorgon.I mention the reproduction because that's the extent of his power of creation but he can not create anything from existence.

@Gardenia I can't speak for other killers ,but i use a mori if I'm going against a strong SWF who will be running all of the works. New Part, Leader 3,Resilience, Botany Knowledge 3, Borrowed Time, and Commoderate Tool Boxes While Doing the gens together! And some SWF's use's MoM. Killer's dont stand a chance so you have to bring in a Mori once in awhile if you want to take away the power of SWF or the other option is Tunneling and we know how much you survivor's hate that Decisive Strike, Com'on give me a break Adrenaline to (are ######### kidding me ) 🤦♂️
Plus look at this I even slowed down the game because they weren't that good and I got this when he got sacrificed.
I got to mori him the very next game Muhahahah.
But my point being mori's are strategic and good for Blowing off steam, Which survivor's do when they have bad day's and be really toxic to Killers
