  • I suggest ditching your crutch perks and trying new builds whenever you can. Whenever I took off windows, Adrenaline and exhaustion perks - I found myself becoming more map aware and better at looping.

I still use them sometimes in certain builds but I never want to be reliant on a perk to believe I can survive.

  • At least if you're against 4 bots you can go grab a snack or something and they will do their objectives and leave without teabagging in the gate.

  • Just remove hatch. Rework the perks and add-ons. It's a pointless mechanic and promotes selfish playstyles and slugging.

  • I used to have this issue, but I've come to the point that I can tell the difference between the two. Even from further away.

  • Unless you're positioned really well, that speed burst is getting you slapped most of the time if they know what they're doing. This is why is usually run medkits, there's some killers you don't want to be caught injured and wraith is one of them.

  • When you get in higher MMR you will come across players who don't care about anyone else's fun but their own.

That's my experience at least. I just played with a p90ish Feng who killed herself on first hook because she didn't get to use her deliverance. And a p70 something Yun Jin who tried bodyblock me into a gen, then did the same thing to a Mikaela and made her DC. I don't get it.

  • You were already deep wounded at the start of this clip, maybe that's why the endurance didn't work

  • Don't bother with the main building generator if that's the area giving you trouble. Also, if you're having trouble looping there, just don't chase survivors there. If you do decide to chase there, you're going to need to break at least one wall to get survivors to the hook if they go down in basement, and this opens up a pretty strong loop for survivors.

  • Okay, so replace AFK players with bots as well. If there's no inputs in a certain amount of time, your kicked and a bot comes in.

If the survivor doesn't attempt the skill checks on hook, replace them with a bot too. At least then survivors can see them trying to off themselves, so they can try to get there in time to at least pull the bot off the hook.

I'm so tired of hatch, they should just get rid of it. Or make some serious changes to how it functions. I don't think offing yourself on hook so some can potentially get it is that healthy for the game. Same with refusing to save so you can potentially find it.

Edit to say that in both scenarios the survivor should receive a DC penalty.

  • They should remove the skill checks so at least if they do try to 4%, they may actually get off. And if they don't,then they will have to wait out the timer, and may be saved before they actually die.

The skill checks serve no purpose except giving the player an option to go next. I mean, how often do you actually miss those. Almost never.

  • Yay! A brand new reason to tunnel. Congrats on finding your very own reason.

  • I think it would be nice if they got rid of those add-ons. Made it take longer for him to tier up, but once he gets to tier 3 he stays there. But no more tombstone/piece.

  • In my opinion; a single perk should not entirely counter a certain playstyle. Blind builds are rendered completely useless by one perk. I don't think that's fair.

And any killer running light born has no right to complain about gen rushing, because they have eliminated an entire playstyle and forced survivors to do gens as fast as possible in order to escape. Otherwise, they'd be wasting time trying to get saves and not stuck on gens.

I don't even get mad when I see Franklin's, because that is more spread out across the board to combat multiple playstyles at once and not entirely countering one.

  • You can also change it to toggle. So push once for running and push again for walking. Then you don't have to hold the button if it bothers you.

  • This is getting ridiculous. I want video proof. Not only of this rock scenario but shots of the end game screen showing "multiple survivors running made for this every game". I am still barely seeing this perk in my lobbies.

  • Bubba and Hillbilly are the funnest to go against for me. Love when I hear the chainsaw.

Honorary mention would go to any 110 killer except hag. I find them fun to loop against.

  • I also can't stand her but once in a while you get smart teammates that forgo healing and just pressure those gens from every angle. I actually had one DC because we were about to pop the last gen and she knew she was done. I don't really care if I'm exposed because if she won't chase you anyway, just keep pressuring those gens.

This is NOT how this game should be played. But I've decided I'm not giving up against her or Knight. If my team is willing to try, I'm going to try. If they want to waste my time, I'm going to waste theirs.

  • I would like to know where all of these survivors are that are running made for this every game?

I am barely seeing this perk in my games. Calling BS on these "seeing it every game" comments.

  • Where are all of these survivors running made for this????

They haven't nerfed it because it's simply not true that a lot of survivors are running it. I BARELY see it in my games.

  • Like with any killer with anti pallet power, greed the pallet as much as possible, only throwing when you know they've lost patience. At any point possible, leave the tile and get distance. Rinse and repeat. Maybe I'm in low MMR or something but I've never felt demo is OP.

  • I'm a survivor main so I enjoy fun chases. Challenging ones that involve mindgames, looping, and being able to attempt to counter a killers power using skill and experience. However, that killer may be very honed at their skill and I may die, fine with it. Nurse, blight, spirit. All great in my books. Because these killers have SKILL. Wow, something I can respect.

However, killers like Knight and skull merchant are ruining my game experience. Knight is especially bad. Please try and do better in the future. It's just awful and boring to go against. I don't want to be the person going gg next, but it is what it is. I understand some people like these killers, but many others do not. Such mind numbing gameplay, I can't even endure it. Not to mention 30 minute long matches that accomplish NOTHING but waste my precious time.

  • Hardest: Solo survivor

    Mid: Killer

    Easiest: Good SWF

  • No matter what gets nerfed or changed. Killer mains are still going to tunnel, camp, slug, etc. And there will always be a new reason. It's just what this game is. Yesterday it was dead hard and med kits. This week it's doing gens over healing. Next week it will be something else.

  • I literally just spent a match as Knight chasing my own guards and bashing them on the head and the survivors were still scared and ran away every chance. I had fun though and got my mask lmao.

Perks with high pick rates aren't necessarily unbalanced? Windows doesn't make you better at looping nor does it give you the ability to chain vaults effectively, it just lets you see that they exist - it takes game knowledge to know your limits and chain vaults accordingly. It's a perk that's used because it helps new players last longer in chase, lets SoloQ survivors see what pallets have been dropped and avoid dead zones, and generally takes a lot of the guesswork out of looping. To say that it needs a nerf because it's easy to chain vaults with it is simply untrue for a majority of players.

The inherent balance and tradeoff of Adrenaline is spending all but 10 seconds of the match at 3 perks. Adrenaline does nothing before 0 gens, and after the speed boost/unhook has ended it does nothing once again.

Lol. I'm literally a survivor main who has run these perks countless times. I know the value you get out of them. I am not advocating for them to be nerfed. I simply said I would be okay with it, and offered an opinion.

I'd much rather some of the useless perks be buffed. To provide more balance to the game.

  • I played for 4 hours last night and got one invite.

Also, I had a spirit and nurse DC at the last gen.

I guess I'm playing friendly killer for the event.

That's just so silly. There's like 20 perks worth bringing in this whole game and your solution is to nerf everything to the ground (because of course when you nerf the best perk people will use the second best and so on) until everything is so bad it doesn't matter what you bring rather than idk buff useless perks and make good ones instead ?

Adrenaline has always been fine and people just started complaining because they basically don't like survivor having perks and WoO is literally just an aura reading perk.

All I'm saying is that if survivors feel they need these two perks at that high of a rate, there's no way this game is balanced.

Yes, I agree that buffing useless perks would be a better idea than nerfing others. But they don't seem interested in doing that.

  • When a perk has that high of a pick rate, it's unbalanced. I'd be okay with it being nerfed a bit or reworked. I think it should not activate if you're healthy, not wake you up from the dream world, and take 10 seconds to heal you.

Same with windows, reduce the range to 24 meters. It's so easy to chain vaults with it at 32 meters.

  • It entirely depends on the killers playstyle, my positioning, if I'm injured, my build, if the gate is ready, etc. Etc. I will totally throw myself on the line if it's feasible we will both escape.

I usually go next if I'm the one hooked though, unless it's obvious they are going to try and save.

  • Well huntress has an add-on that can one hit down you.

Also, slinger has to reload everytime he fires. So he's punished quite hard for missed shots.

Also, you should be assuming he's locked and loaded anytime he's chasing you.

  • What a heartbreaking story. Wishing his family and friends healing. ❤️

  • I don't understand why they didn't make the drones more like the singularity power. She can control the drone and look for survivors and claw trap them. Then she can get a small speed boost and they are tracked on her radar. And the power goes on cooldown. One drone, that's it.

Why should a drone be stationary. That doesn't even make sense.

  • Tunneling isn't so bad. It's face camping and slugging that are the real cancer to the game. And as soon as this nerf to face camping goes live, it's going to be a slug fest. Being slugged is probably my least favorite aspect of this game. Especially in the end game. I say let killers tunnel and then take a good look at slugging.

    And delete the twins.

  • I'm fine with it. It can be crappy in the scenario you mentioned. But normally there is plenty of counterplay. As long as survivors know to split up and look for it.

If I know my team isn't running boons, I cleanse totems. Might waste a bit of time but it's worth it imo.

Every single Skull Merchant game is the same gen camp, drags the game forever and you cant do anything about it.

Yeah but at least I can have some decent chases. Not just holding W at every loop because he's spamming his power.

  • The only time I consider shutting the game off for good is if I get multiple Knight matches in a row. I cannot stand going against this killer. It's truly mind numbing gameplay. Skull merchant isn't even that bad.

  • I'm all for bot replacement. I think it will be far more healthy for the game than what we currently have.

My only concern is when people kts on first hook. I feel if someone has been sacrificed completely on their first hook within so many minutes of the match starting, they should be replaced also. It's obvious they are "going next"

  • Thrill of the hunt, haunted ground, undying and retribution. It's kind of a meme build but it's hilarious. Survivors just need to cleanse them.

  • Unhooking someone is a conspicuous action.

  • If this has happened ten times in a row then I hope you can rethink your gameplay strategy. You're making yourself a target somehow.

  • You can add me. I'm getting tired of solo queue. I have like 1200 hrs so I'm still learning. My psn is the same as my username

  • I just played a match the other night at Badham with an Elodie running this exact build. I was tunneled out but decided to spectate and it was hilarious. Maybe it was you.

  • This keeps happening to me on PS5 randomly as well. It's anytime during the match. I was literally about to escape and it happened once. So frustrating.

  • I mean, they must have data that is telling them that these maps are sided one way or another.

  • Midwich is the only map I can actually say I dislike playing on. As a survivor I can never reliably find generators and as killer I just get disoriented.

  • I'd keep it at 75% but remove the exhaustion nerf so I can use it with overcome and lucky break.

  • Removing healthy hook grabs would improve the health of the game overall. I think they should test it on the next PTB.

  • I've heard many say that proximity chat would ruin the gaming experience for them. Some people would just turn off comms because they are more reserved / shy and prefer to play solo Q for this reason.

Also, players who turned off the comms or muted them would be sandbagged and given harassment for sure.

If you want chat, play with friends.

  • I'm fine with being tunneled out because the killer will in fact have to accomplish it and I am going to defend myself with every tool at my disposal. The real issue with tunneling is the crap MMR system. If you're being teamed up with a Dwight with 50 hrs and the rest of the team are far more experienced. Of course that Dwight is going to be tunneled out because they should not be in a match with players with 2k hrs, even 1k hours or 500 hrs. Killers will continue abusing it because they are easy prey and it doesn't make sense not to tunnel them out because they're basically defenseless.

Slugging and face camping are the real cancer in this game. Those need to be looked at long before tunneling.

  • This should be bannable behavior in my opinion. If you are bleeding out multiple survivors and refusing to hook them it's holding the game hostage / griefing. If survivors have gone to an area without hooks, perhaps killers need to be more aware of where they are downing / hooking survivors. If a survivor runs to an isolated hook that is not near any generator then let them go over there and waste the teams time. Survivors shouldn't be punished for playing well. If killers can't plan ahead a bit it doesn't give them an excuse to intentionally bleed out multiple players for 4 minutes.

And in tired of people saying "well, there are perks to combat slugging ... ". We all know that Unbreakable is never going to solve this kind of behavior. Baseline Unbreakable won't even solve it.
