Well I try to limit Tunneling/Camping/Slugging or anything that isn't fun to the survivors as I play Survivor too and I know how unfun those strats are.

At high MMR, you don't proxy camp first hook and tunnel = loosing. It's as simple as that.

Game designers' fault, don't be ashamed of it, they push you to play like this, the game being a total mess balance wise.

  • @Bullettimegod said:

In other predictable news, rain is wet.

Nah but seriously. We killer players know. Which is why when i play surv i dont get mad at it. I get more mad at my teammates teabagging instead of doing gens.

    😂

It's sad that one survivor has to be punished for the killer to win.

A good design would imply fun for all players in a trial, it means that everyone does 20k points minimum and has time to enjoy the trial before dying or being reckt. Fact is now it's impossible and i really hate the fact that i have to ruin someone's game to win mine...

To achieve a 12 hooks win at high MMR, maps must have a max size of 8k square feet and way less pallets/windows OR ruin should be a generator built in feature (but with like 150% regression speed) to slow down gens and give a chance to the killer to patrol/chase properly.

Ruin/undying are not effective as they are as competent survivors are finding them way too fast.

Pop is also not strong enough against organized team as they will work on many gens simultaneously and you can pop only one gen.

The main problem is the speed at which the survivors can finish their objective in opposition to how long are the chases.

Chases are a big part of the fun in DbD with the mindgame involved so making them ending faster is not ideal.

Ruin has to be built in generators or should not be a hex perk, just a normal, non cleansable perk.

With regards to the questions that were answered on the QA Stream - we clearly state on the pinnned post in that category, that we will take the most upvoted question and that we probably can't answer questions about upcoming things. The same was done on our Social Media as we also took questions from there, and again used the ones that were most liked.

We've previously done this differently and taken more general questions that we'd be able to answer, and of course had the same outcry of "we cherry picked the questions" - so by taking the most upvoted questions, we're attempting to answer the questions that we're being asked the most as clearly those are the ones that the Community would like answered, however, some things we're not going to be able to talk about.

I think, and i guess that most of us are the same mind, that there are way more urgent subjects about DbD right now and that the community deserve a clear roadmap on the below subjects :

    • When will a deep work be done around balancing ?
    • When can we expect a game design that favors playing instead of camping and tunneling ?
    • When will we get a strong work to improve performances ?
    • Does the dev team is aware of the unfun state of the game ?
    • What does the team development think about the current state of the game at high MMR (i.e killers can't win a single trial if they play fair) ?
    • When can we expect real changes ?

That's the answers the community needs and that's the subjects that deserve a 2h stream with some streamers invited, Truetalent and Otz for exemple...

The game needs to improve greatly and to go forward, it's not been the case the last years... The community won't follow DbD forever and BHVR takes way to much time to bring changes.

  • @Dwight_Fairfield said:

I can't believe they took time to answer questions about pointless stuff like how they choose characters for the tomes and will we get shirtless Felix.

Those are the only questions they are able to answer as they have no clue of how to answer the real questions.

When you want to avoid a sensible subject, just choose another random easy subject to divert attention.

If you check the stream chat history on Twitch, it's funny, 99% of the comments are negative, most of them are sarcastic about how trash everything is atm in DbD : Balance, SBMM, Win condition, the speakers... I have rarely seen such a negative vibe on any stream tbh...

And they are smiling the whole time as if nothing was happening... they are so delusional.

    Some exemples 🤣:

    • "Do you even play your game ?"
    • "it's so pathetic you guys are killing your own game NO ONE ASKED FOR SBMM YOU MAKE A GAME FOR THE PEOPLE AND NO ONE WANTS IT"
    • "Its not Q&A its just like statements of prosecuted one to make excuses"
    • "Who even IS this guy? What a joke"
    • "This is the most depressing DBD dev interview I've ever seen. Hope they do consider the feedback at some point and reconsider this apporach."
    • "imagine working on a mmr system for months with the condition you escape = win, you dont escape = lose KEKW"
    • "This game is going downhill so quickly"

And it goes on and on and on for 2 hours.

  • @JimboMason said:

Note: Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, so please be civil and understanding. Also, while I would like this post to be taken seriously, don't take it seriously to the point where you are borderline harassing someone.

From what I saw in the Q&A, a lot of people ask the same questions, such as "How will you punish camping and tunneling", "what side do you play most", and "is this game supposed to be (blank) sided", and while you are entitled to your questions and opinions, it can brings down the merit of all of our questions, which really sucks because a lot of other questions are really interesting and cool, such as turning old skins into cosmetics, other licensed tomes, etc. I get it, though, no one likes to get tunneled, camped, dedicated, or have their fun ruined because of another player's rude action. Just please remember the impact that your words have. And, as always, feedback and information is highly appreciated.

Questions asked are a result of the current state of the game which is garbage, totally garbage. Haven't get such an awful experience in a game for years.

As a killer, i feel forced to proxi camp and tunnel to win the trial and i hate it.

As a survivor, is see every killer prox camping and tunneling to try to win the trial, the first down survivor having a terrible experience and dying with 5k points.

ATM the game is not fun at all, every one agree on this, even streamers are leaving the boat, they all have enough. Go check some huge DbD streamers, look at their face and tell me if you see enjoyment when they play... They are depressed and they don't have fun, it's obvious.

BHVR has been warned for years by the whole community.

Balance, camp, tunnel and SWF threads have been made for years, the devs have never adressed these issues, no wonder why the whole community is pissed about it now.

I guess we are at a no return point, BHVR won't be able to fix the global game problems (game design, balance and toxicity) fast enough to save DbD.

The playerbase will continue to decrease everyday as it is the case for some weeks now.

  • Upping this thread but the playerbase continue to decrease, everyday more and more.

Last 3 months, the drop is noticeable and it's even worst the last few days.

    Sans titre.png

And honestly, with the experience i have had as a killer and survivor, i'm about to stop aswell, it's unbearable.

    1. As a survivor, killers camp and tunnel the first down to get a fast kill and be sure to have a chance to win the trial, if they don't do this, it's 4 hooks, 5 gens done, 3 escapes minimum.
    2. As a killer, i prefer to play fair without tunneling o proxy camp and yes, 4 to 6 hooks, all gens done, doors opened.

It's impossible to play properly on both sides as the game design favors bad gameplay. Aswell, i have looked many fog whisperer streams... and they all promote a toxic way of playing, on both sides. Between the survivor main trolls and the killer mains that proxi camp and tunnel, you can be sure that most of the community will adopt exactly the same "strategy".

Is it healthy for the game ? No, proof is the constant players leaving. For those who don't see it, we went down from 90k peaks to under 50k. And it will continue to drop.

Last time the game was under 50k players peak was in February 2020....

Not mentioning that the game was in the top 10 on steamcharts, it is now #20...

As for Twitch viewers, it went from a peak viewers of 100k to a peak viewers of 50k. Everyone is leaving the sinking ship as the fun is totally gone.

They're just playing the game. You're a toxic person if you think you can get what you want by shaming other people.

They are playing the game denying all the survivors to enjoy it, playing to gen rush only is not playing and playing with camping is not playing aswell.

But you are right, continue to defend this crap behavior, game is loosing players, can't wait to see it going down even more thanks to you guys :)

I instanty assumed from the salty post that you were complaining about insults on your profile, even worse than that, you are salty about a killer playstyle and i bet you let him a nice comment too. Oh god, if you want i can share my endless pages of salt from my profile and I play mostly "fair". I hope people keep giving easy wins to facecampers, it never gets old.

Well giving the possibility to camp and being rewarded by focusing the first survivor, ruining his/her trial is a major flaw.

If you embrass it, it means much about your mindset.

And no i don't leave any message on a #########'s steam profile.

  • @[Deleted User] said:

You're delusional if you think the "rep" culture on steam actually says anything about how well behaved someone is.

Well it was a camper tunneler that killed the 1st survivor.

This evening, 4 trials in a row, each trials ended up with the first survivor tunneled and camped.

    What a great game.

  • @vacaman said:

Those comments are badges of honor from the games you've played, display them with pride

Read again, it's not my profile lol... it's a camper tunneler that just tunneled a survivor playing with me.

  • It's not me on the screen, not my profile,it was the killer's profile... read guys before posting, you embarrass yourself...

You realize people do this just to troll, right?

Then ban them ? 2000h x by hundreds of players doing it, it's a lot of trials polluted.

  • 4vs1

    RNG on maps

Maps without any logic and constant features

    194 perks

Well, developers brought themselves somewhere they can't balance anything anymore.

so let's just ignore high mmr players and pretend balancing is fine. this type of discussion always leads to "casuals are the majority". l

No cause at low MMR killers are OP 😂

The never ending story, game must have different balance with each skill level

  • Cenobite is good only if you play with an "around the box build".

If you succeed to use the box like 3 or 4 times in a trial, everything go south for the survivors and they won't be able to do much. And so he is relying way too much on the perks and add-ons (Hoarder + Franklin + Plaything and Larry's remain + Frank's Heart).

The above kit works great against non SWF team at any MMR. It's totally useless against SWF though.

Summons of pain slow down has to be slightly increased + unbreakable with walls/objects to make it really useful in chase.

He is a fun killer to play with/against and brings some refreshing ideas as did the Pig, the Twins, the Plague and of course, Blight.

  • @[Deleted User] said:

Snuffing a totem out is much quicker and easier than cleansing/blessing a hex totem.

Ye well, having to do it ten times in a trial where gens are already flying at a fairly high mmr, is it fair for you ?

Fact is most players stating that the game is balanced enough for killers to enjoy it are players that play only survivor. It means you have no idea of what the current state of the game is and you are terrible survivors as you don't know how to play killers and so how to counter them.

But you still come on every thread to argue that nothing is unbalanced in favor of survivors.

The game is heavily survivor sided at high level and with the next update it will be even more survivor sided. But plot twist, some of you survivor mains won't see it as you can't play survivor properly :).

BTW, i'm a 50/50 high skilled player on both side so i know what i'm talking about.

PS : and i admit that playing survivor in soloQ is trash but it's BHVR's fault with their broken unworking MMR.

  • 😂

Bubba might be the worst design. I mean, played fair he is okay but most ppl play him to camp and tunnel so...

  • @Adaez said:

Interesting,a lot of people say Twins is camping, slugging simulator.

Kind of but it brings something new, i didn't say that it's perfect, the global game design needs to be modified... But you can play the Twins without tunneling or camping that much.

Map control is huge with this killer.

  • There are many many bad designed killers :

    • Hag
    • Clown
    • Wraith
    • Ghostface
    • Myers
    • Bubba
    • Legion
    • Trickster
    • Nemesis

Ye, almost half the killers have a garbage, unfun to play with/against design.

Killers that are not listed however have a good to great design, some would need some tweaks though.

That's the problem when a company favors quantity over quality. Releasing a new chapter every 3 months is dumb and force the developers to release something even if they have no cool idea.

Honestly, the only remarkable killers are Blight, Pinhead, Twins, Plague and Pig. I don't say they are strong or weak or anything but they all have an awesome original power design, they all bring something new and offer a different way to play with or against them.

Then we could also say that Freddy, Trapper, Nurse and Huntress are quite cool, even though not that fun.

Demo, Oni and Pyramid are okayish, standard M1 killer with some features.

I bet with that "logic" we can remove every Map in the game.

Not really but on this forum you like to argue about anything, even the most logic statement.

Map that doesn't allow some killers to use their power properly = non sense

It's exactly like maps where all the the middle area is a huge dead zone = non sense for the survivors

These are bad designed maps that should be removed, reworked and added again.

  • @Marc_go_solo said:

As SoloQ it's been balanced overall from what I've experienced. Matches have been tough and challenging, but at the same time my fellow survivors have been mostly on par with what I'd expect, which result in some great team work.

It's certainly a big improvement over the old way match-making was done.

As killer, it's been a bit wonky recently where one match I'll face 4 very strong players and then the next I'll have 4 rather weak players. The difference between has been noticeable. It was more levelled before, but I'm uncertain whether the cap could be involved in too many players getting to a certain end, with wildly different skill sets.

The cap is definitely responsible in the current state of the game. Many players have reached the top even though they haven't the necessary skill. The skill disparity is noticeable now.

  • @Stinde said:

The first week of MMR was awesome, now it's started to get worse and worse every day. Nothing but Blights with alchemist's ring and speed and Nurses with range and recharge facing full meta perk survivors using BNPs and styptic medkits who then DC on first down or leave the solo to die on first hook. Solos are just collateral damage between sides. I'm sad. :(

Yes, the experience as a solo survivor is terrible, old system was way better.

Killer side, at start i only had tough trials, still manage to 2k or 3k. Now it is exactly the same experience than pre-SBMM.

  • @humanbeing1704 said:

  • @legacycolt said:

What do you expect the devs to do now? Just delete everything you don’t like? Omg.

Delete everything that has no sense lol. A map where some killers cant use their power ?

Why not a map where survivors can't escape ? Or a map without gen ?

  • @slendermansmoom said:

remember stealth killers like myers are unstopable on that map

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2535364#Comment_2535364

And this folks is what somebody living in denial looks like.

Then you are terrible at this game if you think it's killer sided lol. i don't even know what level someone need to have to think this...

  • SBMM doesn't allow variety anymore. Always the same killers, always the same perks on both sides, most of the time the same way of playing (gen rush and tunneling).

For me, it removed almost all the fun on both sides.

On killer side my experience is still better as i can "play" with the survivors, i mean i'm rarely a dick unless you deserved it. So i try to give them fair trials where they can do some points and stay alive long enough (often till there is 1 to 2 gens left to be done).

As a survivor, i often get tunneled. Also i'm sometimes farmed by my teammates and this at a high MMR... terrible experience in soloQ, worst than before.

So globally, i think the game design needs some changes, DbD has never been in a good state so it's time to bring some changes.

It's sad that the game development is going on two different speed... Pinhead has a good design that needs some tweaks but he is really great and fun to play with/against meanwhile unbalance is still trash, optimization too etc... weird way of developing a game, really.

And how do i know i'm at high MMR as a survivor ? i face Otzdarva and sometimes i'm matched with Truetalent and other well knozn streamers as a survivor.

Because toxic players keep buying neon cosmetics to further rub it in the killers faces. I do enjoy the new chapter releases and I often buy them, as do many others, so why the need to change it?

Because the player base is decreasing

Ive been watching the PTB and Mikaela Reid, seems like her perks are really good. Now you can basically heal with no med kit, no self care perk, inner strength ect....I want to know what killer mains think about this perk?

    Short answer : yes

Long answer : the perk will give a zone advantage to the survivors> The killer already has to deal with 4 survivors + generators + some map control. It´s a lot and now they will have to deal with totems, maybe multiple times...

Time is the main "ressource" for the killer and dealing with totems will stop some chases and the killer will loose a ton of time. Even though it´s only 15 or 20 seconds (go to the totem, deal with it and continue a chase or go patrol a gen), it´s 1/4 of a gen...

Imagine having to deal with a boon totem 4 times in a trial...

  • @SMitchell8 said:

Last 8 games have been an absolute joke as killer. Flash light bully squads in 4 out of 8 of which, 3 of last 4. Having a few survivors d/c a lot also which again spoils the game for everyone. 4 female survivors (always female characters) just set out to make the match horrible. Ive been flashed light saved about 20 times in my last 7 games and im starting to get really fed up of it. Never had this in the 4 years of playing the game. Always looked forward to playing dbd after work in the evening, that enjoyment in waining atm. I like a challenge swf bring, but every game ain't fun at all.

Game is super toxic on both sides, believe me.

When i play killer i experience what you say.

When i play survivor in soloQ, i experience hard tunneling on the first survivor to the point he/she feels the need to DC.

The game is utter garbage now, full of toxicity and it looks like BHVR is enjoying the fact that some players are super frustrated with the current state of the game as they have never adressed anything.

It´s in such a terrible state that 40% of the playerbase have stopped playing (or at least play way less) and i don´t understand why BHVR does nothing about it.

  • @MeltingPenguins said:

Question is: Do the licenses really make DbD better (personally I think they are actually hindering DbD due to how the costs/obligations influence how new content is handled)?

VHS might be good, but it also (mainly due to some 'fight' mechanics from what I've seen) seems to have a lot of potential to attract toxicity. This however might draw toxic players away from dbd, which would be good (though I don't wish it on VHS)

Toxicity is possible only (mostly) because a game is unbalanced. DbD is full of situations where the balance is off.

    • As a killer, camping and hard tunneling a non SWF squad is way too rewarding and bring toxicity
    • As a survivor, if you play in SWF, you can be super toxic

Also many perks induce frustration for the other team : DH, DS, Unbreakable, Noed, Devour Hope, hex perks when they are cleansed in 10 seconds etc... All those garbage perks that are just patches to compensate a terrible game design.

  • You are serious when you think that having licences is the main features that make the game on top ?

The fun you get while playing & the way they advertise the game will be the only thing that count, nothing else.

So what do we know ?

    About DbD :

    • great licences
    • great art direction (one of the best, all games compared and by far)
    • established and quite solid playerbase that is, however, pissed by what the game has become
    • garbage performances with many issues for years now
    • outdated gameplay (pretty much 4 years that we have the same basic gameplay)
    • totally unbalanced and impossible to balance
    • 90% of game changing features useless (perks)
    • more frustrating than fun

    About VHS :

    • F2P
    • refreshing, original and fun gameplay
    • game looks balanced and devs know their game, they will adjust it
    • "bad" art design (to my mind)
    • no licence for now
    • youtube announcement videos top around 50k average views which is fairly low (to compare, DbD has 500k views)

I honestly think that VHS will be way funnier than DbD but that the lack of good marketing won´t give this game any chance, unfortunately. To my mind, the only game that has a chance to top DbD is Evil Dead The Game if the developers don´t fail the gameplay.

I often will bodyblock if i find someone in a corner because frankly i think it's hilarious, these survivors however are literally the first i've come across in three years that just sat there the entire time and blamed me for "ruining their experience"

Allegedly they'll be coming to the forums as well to share their perspective.

What i see is a killer that bodyblocked a single survivor for 20 minutes.

You had 0 hook on first SS and you still had 0 hook on the last one. You bodyblocked that Feng on purpose for 20 minutes and when we check the heal state of other survivors, it proves you didn´t chase them between SS.

Down her, take her and hook her maybe ?

I hope the devs will ban you here and on the game.

No they wont. Not if the animation started on your screen.

They do all the time lol. Same at windows. I have 30ms ping, i don´t think that there are many players with a lower ping than mine as the DbD servers are terrible and i have optical fiber, living in western EU and having 10ms ping on every other games.

I´m pretty sure that the hit validation server is disabled when for the players that have a high ping as it happens all the time against russians playing on western EU servers.

  • And vice versa, a high ping killer will hit a survivor even though the pallet drop animation is at 2/3.

Dbd, the only game in the multiplayer history to favor high pingers; to the point i know i´m facing a russian (high ping) before being able to check the steam profile :)

Except that's not the current peak numbers -- those peak numbers in September were just short of 83,000, not 60,000. Those numbers are also increased from August's totals, and are the 3rd-highest in the game's history.

Again, if you want to use numbers to illustrate something, that's fine -- but they need to be accurate.

These are the peak numbers per hours each day man... If you take the usual peak time of they day, you see that the peak is reached everyday around 9pm. Peak number in September was 83k and it was exactly the 19th September between 9 and 10pm.

    Those numbers are really accurate.

    image.png

If you don´t see it decreasing then you should get glasses. The last time the game has had such a low unique players count was in Mars 2021 but anyway, globally, from June to today, the tendency is the continual decrease number of players even though we can see this number peaking when a new killer is released; September peak started with Pinhead and SBMM : 7th of September rise and then fall.

    image.png

So what do we see ?

On the first graph you can see that between July and early September, the number of players was stable. Then we see a bump when the new chapter has been released, and due to the poor balance and SBMM implementation, we see the number falling way under what we had before the chapter release.

Even the Twitch stats are showing the same tendency :

Where can you find reliable sources for this?? Cause i’m curious.

Play the game and you will see by yourself.

When i play survivor in soloQ, there is a DC/Suicide 2 games out of 3.

As a killer, as i play fair i see less DC/suicide but it´s like 2 or 3 trials out of 10.

What charts are you looking at? This one?

    https://steamcharts.com/app/381210

That's ... not an accurate depiction of the numbers. If you're comparing the current average player base to the peak numbers during the most-hyped DLC release in the game's history, then you're comparing apples and oranges. The average players number has actually increased from the average the month of the DLC (though it's down from July's total), and while the peak player numbers have declined from June's all-time record for the game, the current peak numbers for the month just finished, September -- as well as the average players number for that month -- are the 4th-highest and 2nd-highest respectively the game has ever had since release. If people are leaving the game in droves, then they're being replaced by equal numbers of people playing the game.

This isn't meant to be a BHVR shill post either -- that's simply the numbers. I've played the game for a year and a half, and while I've been massively disappointed by a lot that's happened (poor optimization, buggy releases, balance issues, etc.), I've also seen a lot of positive things happen in the game as well. The game is not perfect, but there's still more good than bad to be found in it -- or at least that's my opinion (which yours can be different -- no harm in that).

I'm sorry if you don't enjoy the game -- if you and your friends don't, then not playing is the right answer. But a lot of people are clearly still enjoying it -- misrepresenting the numbers for a narrative isn't useful.

Well with the growing numbers of DC and suicides i have seen the last weeks, i don´t think that many players are still enjoying the game...

And yes i´m looking at peak numbers per day and we went from 100k to 60k in 3 months. The average players doesn´t mean the playerbase is growing.

You can have an average player of 20k with a peak around 70k or you can have an average player of 30k with a peak at 35k. The more active game is the one with the higher peak, meaning that during the day, more unique players have played.

The devs will likely tone down the boon perks. Plague and Trapper are receiving good buffs and keys finally got changes. And with some more perks getting good buffs like Blood Favor and Retribution. (Bonus Ghostface not add-on dependent).Yes Spirit and Deathslinger were nerfed. But overall this wasn’t a balance patch tilted to one side. Too many people are saying killer is dead now and everyone should go play survivor

Nah, we will pretty much all leave before they do that. Honestly i have enough of DbD and BHVR. I have played this game for 4 years and i´m pretty much done, i will uninstall soon as did all my friends.

We all have been around for year and we are all bored of the choices the devs have made. We have seen this game going downhill in an unstoppable bad design decisions loop and we can´t bear it anymore.

With all the changes made in the last patch and the one to come, i don4t think many players will stay as it´s not fun at all to play this game, as a killer and as a survivor, especially in soloQ and duoQ.

I have just checked steamcharts and DbD has lost half its PC playerbase in 3 months...

I have only gone against one hacker in my time and they were a huntress with aimbot and infinite hatchets and no time between throw's. I did escape however when she hooked the 2nd to last person and came to pick me up but hatch spawned right under me lol. they also had 2 bans on there account. if you see a hacker just dc and report them in endgame chat and there actual pc/console profile

Those are the obvious cheaters but believe me, some are way smarter and just use wallhack or a small speedhack, you can´t be sure about it.

  • @DelsKibara said:

I feel like I keep facing a cheater a week.

I'm getting tired of playing against cheaters...

i have played a lot this week and last week and i have faced many cheaters, survivors and killers some really obvious (insta gens + speedhack + infinite stun). Others less obvious but i"m pretty sure they had wallhacks.

  • @BenZ0 said:

Maybe I am one of these wallhackers. Some survivors called me that too because I was using Cigar Box as Clown :)

Maybe keep an eye on some addons, there are some that can also help tracking or finding survivors.

Everytime i suspect someone, i check everything =)

  • @Sakurra said:

How can you be sure they are wallhackers? It happened to me also. They knew exactly where I was too many times even if they had no aura perks or add-ons. Still, I can't prove anything, so yeah :)

A killer that always go to the good generators, from the start of the game and come to find you somewhere random while there is no aura perk and this many times in the trials, it´s a blatant cheater.

And then you check the profile and see many vac bans... how on earth this guys is legit and still allowed to play ?

  • Camping and tunneling is necessary at high mmr.

However i agree that this is a really toxic gameplay aspect of the game. I personally think that the global game design has to be redone with new ideas to change the global experience for survivors and killers.

Atm, the game is in an unhealthy state for both sides.

SBMM release has even brought more frustration to my mind...

Killers crying as normal on the forum. Its a wonder how any statistic ever pulled has never shown survivors anywhere near escaping as much as killers killing.

Red rank statistics were not accurate at all. All tournaments have showed how survivor sided is the game...

So untill then killers shouldn't complain about survivors build and vice versa.

I have to ask though does this go for killers too. Will they continue to get meta perks while survivors get none?

META Perks are perks that will carry you to the victory.

Using DS, DH, BT, Unbreakable on all 4 survivors bring them to the victory without even trying.

I don't see any perk that can carry a killer as much.

If you think that ruin, undying, corrupt, pop and tinkerer are meta perks... well, it's a joke as they barely affect the global trial outcome.

It's really funny how people complain on and on about why survivors use the same perks but then when strong perks come out for survivors it's complained about and is nerfed into the ground. It's so annoying.

We haven't gotten any new meta perks untill now. And chances are they are going to nerf thees perks too

When the game will not be survivor sided anymore, then BHVR can release new meta perks. Fact is that the game is unplayable properly for killers at high MMR.

It's not enjoyable, it's frustrating and totally unfair.

And yet, BHVR continue to give survivors way too strong perks in the current state of the game.

  • @dspaceman20 said:

Survivors do not get insanely strong perks. When was the last strong or meta survivor perk that we have received?

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WissfAfFCiI

Survivors don't need anything. Seriously if after seeing this you still think it's not survivor sided, nothing can be done to save DbD.

    And i'm mainly a survivor.

Imagine being a killer and facing a SWF of 4 survivors with 80% of Ayrun's skill... Ye every trial are impossible to win, even with tier S killers.

Interesting question as devs never really listen to the community : how many killers will be left after the release of the boon totems perks ?

  • Well yes, at the beginning of SBMM. Now most of the playerbase is top MMR. I'm now matched with average suvivors in soloQ while it was not the case when SBMM was just released.

Most players have been "boosted" up to high MMR, resulting in garbage trials.

It is a proof of how poorly the game is balanced. You just need 4 average survivors playing in SWF to outplay a high skill killer. Just giving some infos to your friends is changing the trial outcome.

Tinkerer pop, you change target and go to the gen, no one is there anymore, why ? Ah yes, they have had the info you were coming.

    Sad...

But ye, 4 survivors, 4 DS, 4 DH, 4 BT, 4 items with add-ons and a map offering, so fair.

1 … 7 8 9 10 11 … 15
