Bunny Legion and trickster. Nobody takes me seriously
As trickster it feels like survivors throw because they heard he's ass and but end up dying because of it lmao
-
Myers only gets A for "AaAAurggh"
He'd be C otherwise
-
Sorry dude, I'll be sure to go stand in a corner for 2 mins after finishing a gen before advancing to the next one
My bad

Oh lord no. Old ruin was the bane of new and inexperienced players.
Omg are those skill checks for real??
-
You guys going up against rank 1 swfs every match?
Grossly unpopular opinion it seems, but he's not garbage
Not great, but dang it's not like it's impossible to get a 4k with him
-
This sounds pretty good actually. I don't think NOED needs any changes (small game exists) but if it gets any changes, this sounds like a more friendly nerf
-
No way he stays as is. He's pretty rough in the high ranks
I personally have gotten 4ks in most of my games with him but I'm not consistently playing against red ranks and I barely use the knives
Either it's a 4k I probably could've gotten with any killer, or 4 escape after only getting 2 hooks

Accepting an inv was your first mistake that's rule 2 of the killer rule book
What's rule number 1?
-
Why didn't you stand in the corner staring at the wall the whole match? Baby killer camping the whole map smh

Yep. I mean, there are older people who do it, such as Stream_Dad for DbD, but we're few and far between. Video game streaming is a young person's game because the key demographic for it is teenagers to around 32 or so. They want to watch people their own age play whatever game.
Only streaming I do is concerning my writing or the business end of my industry. I often do short videos for fans on book progress, and to fellow authors on business advice and tips.
Do you mind sharing your twitch/yt? I've been trying to follow more writers who are in the industry

Deep wound is kind of an integral part of his kit. How would laceration be better/more fun to play against? All I'm imagining is Legion having to hit you like 4 times to get you injured (because it'd have to be shorter than getting injured by Trickster), then 4 times to down, all while in frenzy? How do you avoid this? Do missed hits still take him out of frenzy? If yeah, his power would be garbage. If no, he'd be busted and basically unavoidable
Someone said it somewhere on the forums but he'd feel better with qol changes. Like his frenzy meter doesn't deplete when you hit someone with a normal m1, and he gets a shorter self stun when coming out of frenzy

Well if you happened to be running Franklin's and noed it could get a little funny...
Oh yes, there's nothing better than seeing a survivor freeze in front of a closed hatch because they realized too late they're not holding the key anymore 🤭
-
Who are these ghostface gods making people think his stalk is op
Sometimes he gets value, but his stalk is honestly garbage. It's easy enough to reveal him and have his entire kit be useless the whole match if you try hard enough as survivor
-
Nah most survivors complain when I play them, even if I play like ass
They say legion is annoying to vs, cancer killer, no skill, takes 5 mins to get good at them, etc
I'm willing to believe it's residual trauma from how legion used to be, and now people just regurgitate the same crap over and over
Legion's pretty fun to me, to play as and against
If a rework is coming, it'd better be a net buff
-
Why is a killer terrible for using NOED? Must be getting big value if people are always this mad about it ;)
-
I got it in one game with a flashlight save lol unless you have a swf, is really hard to 1. Get someone to wiggle and 2. Make sure someone gets downed far from a hook
-
I'll be honest. The games have been really balanced imo. Most of the time I get a 2k. If I get a 4k I'm sweating at the end of it. Kinda sucks since being casual is more fun, but can't deny the survivors feel like they're at my level
EDIT: Why are people looking so hard at ranks? Are they expecting everyone in the lobby to be around the same rank even though MMR isn't looking at rank when they make the lobbies?
-
I feel like people overestimate the numerical ranks people have
I've lost games (4 escapes) as a rank 8 killer against rank 16-13 and 4k'd games with rank 1-2 survivors
It's not completely irrelevant, but a lot of the time, people within like 5 or so ranks of you are probably pretty close to your ability. Sometimes equal playtime doesn't equal same skill. Sometimes the rank 20 is just a high rank player who hasn't played in a while. Sometimes the rank 16 is way worse than the rank 3, but not everytime

I've had a lot of Oni's drop me at the hatch for some reason (maybe they have a soft spot for Grandpa Bill). With Ghostface, I continuously experience them hooking a survivor, going a few paces away behind a rock or tree and stealthing to wait for the unhook.
LOL that ghostface might be me
Won't go after the unhooked person but it's an easy way to build stalk on someone else 🤣
-
Asymmetrical games are awesome. Evolve (rip, I'll always remember you 😭) was my favorite game. Loved playing monster, loved hunting/trapping/killing the monster....and then the servers shut down and the game died
I wasn't interested in Friday the 13th enough to play that but dbd reminded me so much of evolve, and it's filling that void
Playing as the killer is fun when things go right, and the hide and seek/outplaying potential that survivors have is fun
-
This feels kinda accurate. I'd move Oni to the "big salty meanie" list and ghostface to the "chill killer" list tho
90% of the time, Onis, Myers players, and Freddys will slug and camp. I get that it's part of their playstyle (myers and oni) but is the 4k really that important? Did you really have to slug me in front of the open exit gates and pick me up everytime I got too close to leaving?? (An oni did this one)
Plague and nurse players have been the nicest in my experience. Maybe because it's hard to win with them if you don't know what you're doing? Idk
-
From least terrible to most terrible:
Plague because vomiting is one of the worst feeling things humans can experience
Leatherface/Billy because death by chainsaw (or sledgehammer) sounds miserable
Pyramid Head because no thank you I would not like to be tortured in cages and forced to atone/confront self guilt
-
Jeff and Bill mains are definitely the nicest
-
Poor Michael. Arguably the best slasher horror icon but one of the worst killers with one of the worst maps in the game
At least the map looks nice
-
Trickster. I was at least interested in playing Twins and Elodie
Not excited at all about this new killer/surv
Only cool thing is that he talks
Edit: just saw you say no trickster comments lol changing answer to twins then as even though they were fun at the start, they're not fun to play as the game is rn
-
Insidious + Obsidian Goblet = absolute power move
-
@Saltjar34 said:
But what about basement Demo?
How else are you supposed to use him? 🤭
-
Maybe if they make it so only the skeleton key can open the hatch
It's consumed when used to open hatch
Can only be found in chests
Dull and broken keys only work with add ons and defer in time of use
That way the keys survivors bring into the match could never open hatch and the only time hatch escapes occur is if they find a skeleton key on the map
-
I don't think there's an issue when noed has so many counters. Having the lit totem next to the downed survivor just means less people get to escape. Sucks for them I guess, but that's a scenario that rarely happens and the fault still lies with survivors not doing totems. It doesn't take that long when more than 1 survivor cares about doing them.
I also hate that people associate noed with killers who aren't good at the game. Noed just introduces another opportunity to win. Just like keys exist to help you ignore killer efforts too. Do bones if you don't wanna see noed
-
Switching would be nice, but this probably won't happen because mmr is coming back

I believe the reason for this is because unlike billy bubba or plag the instadown can last a really long time/can't be deactivated by survivors and It can turn to an instakill
Yeah that makes sense
I didn't know that was a thing lol thanks for the info

he didn't have collision so this wouldn't happen
Wait he doesn't have collision when stalking?
That makes this worse 🤣
-
Not as thicc as Jeff; therefore, irrelevant
-
But if we didn't have offerings, I'd just be playing 10 different variations of coldwind farm or 15 versions of autohaven before seeing anything new
-
I brought both ruin and trail of torment and kept getting confused about why I couldn't kick the gens
🙃
Bonus round: I spawned in the game map in that dead end room with 1 gen. Told myself "this is dumb to do this gen I can just get trapped"
I start the gen anyway. Myers appears in the doorway, blocks it, and just stands there
I realize what he's doing too late and go down when he's T3

Honestly being able to pair all these "do 15 generators"/"do 15 totems"/"kick a gen or pallet 25 times" with some actual challenges. These are so grindy and boring and I wouldn't even call them a challenge to begin with.
I wish devs could see this or it could be upvoted to the heavens because this would save the rift grind.....but maybe that's why it probably won't ever happen :(
-
The only thing I agree with is having some type of automatic gen regression without having to bring ruin/undying/whatever else
Gens are already boring to do, but just making them take longer to do sounds like bad gameplay

Meanwhile Legion can pip his way until rank 1 getting 2ks or less. Just another example of the emblems being broken.
I mean, if the Survivors are all running around suffering and injured the whole game and the games are longer because *legion things*, isn't that more in line with what the entity wants?
-
You sound unlucky. I see him maybe once every 15 games, and those games are pretty fun
I usually find him first somehow and just reveal him lmao
-
It's not like it's totally free, he needs to have gotten you down 2 hook states + applied torment in order to use final judgment
And technically, he is punished when cages are not used since he's susceptible to hook related surv perks and it takes more time to hook than cage
But it's like POTD. He abilities aren't really meant to be spammed/used all the time unless you see the opportunity to, which is rare imo. Caging is good if you literally don't care about the surv getting unhooked 2 seconds later and losing torment + don't have time. In my experience, it's not my first choice ever but him having the option to cage is still necessary and useful
-
It's super hard to let the negativity roll of your back but here are two suggestions that seem kinda silly but might help
1) When toxic players tilt you, take a game or few to meme with survivors. Like pick Ghostface and be the friendly teabagger who lets them drop pallets on you and crouches across the map with you. Or pick Pyramid head and draw messages on the ground with rites of judgement lmao That's usually the easiest way to get survivors to be nice, give you free hits, free hooks, and you can pretend for a sec that those survivors aren't the type to BM you like the rest
2) If you're PC, give yourself a ridiculously positive name. I changed my steam ID to 'You Are Beautiful' and people actually seem to appreciate it and my after game toxicity seemed to drop lmfao
-
@Tio_Croc said:
1) Make his move speed 110% (4.4ms).
2) Make his ability to decently vault pallets and windows available at any time.
3) Because it is not a normal vault but a special ability, it does not activates perks like bamboozle.
4) The pink addon just works if it is a vault from Feral Frenzy.
That would make him less helpful and more mindgamable.
Is that a good idea or am I a meathead??
Point 1 and I'm already out fam
"Less helpful and mindgameable"
So we're not talking about buffing him? Lmfao
-
Hey, I'm only rank 11 or 12 (? idr) and NA but if that doesn't matter to you feel free to add me on steam! 110066889
-
bruh 🤣
-
Pyramid head is definitely worth it, ignore the comments from people on the forums or in game saying he's busted or op
His chase music is awesome, his abilities are super satisfying to land, and his abilities and perks give you a lot of room to play him in unique and strategic ways
I think it's confirmed that in terms of lore, the entity doesn't really have a hold over him like the other killers? And imo that comes out in his gameplay, but that might just be me
Ghostface is also super satisfying when survivors let you play the game lmao

When I play against streamers and I watch their videos after, it's really what you said. They say things like, "he must be so mad at me" at each pallet stun, or "he's not good, he's camping and tunneling" even when you're clearly not.
Really pathetic but, oh well, whatever let them sleep at night.
Some of these streamers really do be doing the most lmfao especially when they're streaming with a swf
Making fun of perks
Making fun of missed hits
Every pallet stun = best gamer move of the match
I had some streaming swf telling each other they felt like they were bullying me and felt bad (though they laughed the whole time) because I wasn't instantly downing them in chases
It's like some swfs just play together to stroke each other's egos
-
Won't say I afk'd but I've gone a few nights helping/memeing with survivors instead of trying to win to get out of purple ranks
I try to stay around rank 13-10 but sub rank 15 is too low to throw and takes too long. 15 and lower is typically where new players are too right? That seems kinda mean to drop that low
But purple ranks and up, the game sucks and I don't play this game to sweat after working all day.
-
Not that I would know...... ;)
But it doesn't look like you get chaser points from afking rn
