Unless I became a streamer, I don't see the point of anonymous mode tbh. I guess it's nice...but who cares imo
-
Technically it's a buff but not one that people use really.
It got looped onto the other killers with flashlight changes which the rest all made sense for sure. This one id be fine keeping but I get not keeping a unique otem weakness just for her.
-
Myers is on the weaker side of things. The only way I want to play as him and want to play against him is mirror myers. Those are actually fun matches in my book. I don't need his instant down or tombstone pieces.
-
Iron will is in a good spot. It was too strong back in the day but not its still viable but not clearly a must have perk
-
Surprised you'd say Legion
He's not the strongest by any means but he's pretty solid dealing how damage, has pretty good mobility, and he slows the game down a lot. Trapper is for me because he has no early game, his traps are easy to see, traps are tedious to manage, and he starts with barely any traps. He needs a massive buff

What else are survivors supposed to do besides escape? Sorry but in reality it just doesn't make sense. The lack of DS can lead to a free kill so easily it isn't fair whatsoever
It's not a free kill. You have several teammates who can save you, body block for you, sabotage hooks for you, you could wiggle free, use dead hard or other exhaust perks. Killer has to account for each of these things when a survivor is unhooked. Survivors have plenty of protection in place by end game collapse (and this also doesn't account for several things they can have prior to it. Ds is not needing to return. The game is healthier with it not being a must have perk on every build
-
Anyways, yes I think he should start with his traps, survivors get injured disarming traps (must mend if already injured), they are less obvious than they are now, and they take longer to disarm. That would buff him significantly without making him insane.
I do agree most of the rap based killers could use some love (freddy especially). Man I miss old freddy
-
Hasn't he always been in a sad state?
-
There's a very good possibility that these are two different groups of killers (people who tunnel/camp people out immediately being one and people who hate gen speeds being another).
I've been called a camper or tunneler at 5 gens but those are typically in situations when one guy is on hook and two of the 3 other survivors are standing by the hook trying to unhook with the 4th on the oppositeside of the map. I have no reason to leave the hook if most of your team is there. Have someone draw me away from the hook. If you all are just waiting for me to walk away aimlessly that's just not reasonable to expect a killer to do. Be willing to trade or draw out the killer (unless they are a hard camper).

Isn't the Jeepers Creepers guy also completely divorced from his franchise?
And yet, nobody wants to touch that license either
Yep. I'd also say that the license has been on a rough patch for a long time even aside from the creator...mostly awful films
-
No.
Ghostface used in the game of from the costume company, not based on the movies scream. Would be cool though but won't happen

Trapper, idk why he does not start with all traps. Dev are likely kinda stupid.
Pig, unhook someone with a trap should active it
these 2 killer are pretty bad
I'd be inter3sted in seeing how pig would be if all survivors started with traps basekit in a ptb
-
I could maybe see him going up above a few killers but I don't think it will change a whole lot for him
1. Flashlight cloak burn rarely happened against good wraith players I've played against at least.
2. It's true the overall healing nerf does benefit wraith more than some killers, but several others also benefit. This is the primary reason I think he would go ahead of a few others killers but I don't think the change is significant enough to make him top tier or anything. He isn't as bad as people say but he's not amazing. He's fine enough imo

I think you do if you hold onto it the whole time but if you aren't holding onto your original item you are SOL

Unfortunately no. If the killer dcs when you aren't holding your original item it's lost (if they have say franklins) and I'm pretty certain you also don't get a new item you pick up either

Yes to everything you said. Poor Michael needs a lot. If they buffed him he wouldn't need a overpowered addon just to be viable. He's such a iconic horror character. It's sad to see him treated so bad.
I really like playing tier one scratched mirror myers. It's a lot of fun and not busted

I have lol, as it is now I can get 1 kill or sometimes even more with basically no effort, and when I would get dsd and 4 outted it's bc I deserve it. Unless we wanna start spawning hatch at the last survivor's feet there's no reason for 4 outs to be as unrealistic as they currently are
Actually had the hatch spawn literally on the survivors feet last week. The survivor agreed it was bs lol
4ks are pretty uncommon while 4 survival are more common tbh. If a killer stops survivors from doing, say 2 gens, they fully deserve the 4k imo. Pity wins aren't meaningful and worse for the game since it discourages cooperation between survivors even in difficult situations. I'd say the same thing if a killer is getting wrecked in a game there shouldn't be a mechanism that guarantees a kill every game either. If you are losing just take the L and move on for either side.

The endurance effect only works if the survivor doesn’t do a conspicuous action, so I welcome survivors to do nothing for 80 seconds. Don’t tunnel and OTR won’t do anything.
The term "tunneling" gets thrown around too much imo. There are times a survivor will bodyblock with endurance or they are the only one I run into. If I'm actively ignoring other survivors to get to you I'd say that's tunneling but if you are using yourself as a shield to other survivors or you are the only one i find then you are not being tunneled imo. 80 seconds is too long and 99% gates makes it so it essentially lasts when egc started anyways. It should deactivate once the final gen is completed, not when gates are opened.

Due to the politics surrounding the game and its creator, I disagree.
BHVR has shown support for the LGBTQ community, adding FNAF would be a complete 180 and a clear sign of total moral bankruptcy.
As someone who knows nothing about the FNAFs creator, I assume they have actively spoken out against LGBTQ community, correct? I'm just guessing here
Either way, yes I agree with you that FNAF shouldn't be here because of that

Lol he's one of the sweetest killers in the game unless he has tombstone piece equiped. The only reason he gets away with such a broken addon is because he is just so week without it. He needs alot of help.
He does need a lot of help...
-Super nerf tombstone
-increase movement speed and lunge in tiers 1 and 2
-buff most addons outside of tombstone
-remove stalking max on a survivor

Then why keep it in the game? Why not change it fundamentally into something new and different instead of leaving it as something you should not use? I’d like to think that Behavior doesn’t just nerf things so people don’t use them. That seems like actively hurting your own game on purpose.
There are a lot of killers perks who have been nerfed into oblivion rather than adjusted. Survivor hasn't had too many though. Killer builds back in the day looked way different than they do now

But I don't think they want players running DS though. I think they want OTR to be the replacement for DS, and it would make sense with how much that perk was nerfed in 6.1.
Tbh, OTR ought to get a nerf.

Maybe try going after someone who didn't just get unhooked? Why should getting as little as one hook guarantee they die as long as it's endgame? The survivors succeeded in their objective by completing all gens but as long as the killer gets a single hook boom kill like no that's ridiculous
Go play killer for a while and see how this works for you (and assume DS would trigger like you want). That will show you why it doesn't work.
-
For survivor,
Red herring, diversion, headon, and quick and quiet. It's a good option to really tick off a killer without resorting to the usual culprits.
-
A goofy doctor build
Fearmonger, iron maiden, trail of torment, and dark devotion. You are hidden a lot and sneak up on people a little it's not a great build but a funny build sometimes. Plus, getting to find survivors hiding trying to avoid your shocks is also fun. Can confuse survivors a lot
-
@TonyXSplash said:
Drop on a pallet and when the killer picks you up stun them again with a pallet and run away xD
You can also use unbreakable as an anti tunneling perk if you dropped on a pallet just let your teammate distract the killer while you recover fast.
Oh yeah can't forget unbreakable in the old builds, so really youd get 5 hits to kill someone too lol

a couple more seconds is exactly what I’m suggesting, but only if the killer camps the hook.
Yeah I could see this possibly working then, although I still think the perk still has good value but not too much though

SoloQ isn't as bad as people make it out to be.
The biggest issue is having survivors more willing to DC quickly or purposefully die quickly, otherwise it's not bad
-
In general, weak but I think strong for how simple he is. I kinda wish he had a bit more interesting stuff going for than just stabby stab over and over and over...
-
I see it in about 20% of games.
Old DS was way too much.
Every single survivor ran it (along with BT and DH) which made the gameplay stale and you as a killer would have to hit a survivor who was unhooked 1 for BT, 1 for a down, DS hits, 1 again for DH, and 1 more for the down. 4 hits on a survivor especially during egc was miserable as killer.
At most DS should get a couple more seconds in the stun but nothing beyond that. It's fine as it is

There's one in RPD near the main exit gate. The killer can stand there and if survivors decide to go for that last second save they can't because by the time they realize they have to go around, the teammate is dead.
This isn't that situation where there's only one entrance but the killer can bodyblock certain doors to make survivors go around and waste a lot of time. This promotes camping on RPD
Although I've never used this for a hook, I have done it to a survivor trying to escape after gates opened in that exact spot with wraith. The survivor was tbagging and such so I was more willing to do that. They ran the opposite direction and tagged at the exit but I got the down and hook. It felt super warranted lol

A big killer streamer recently said. About 50% of killer perks are just bad. About 70% of survivor perks are just bad. I agree to that
I think I'd trade the percentages. For me several killer perks you'd just never use while survivor perks are by themselves bad but you can make at least a playable build with some of them. Some killer perks I just don't see the point of even existing lol

Agreed on the traps to start with. As far as the disarming thing maybe give it an RNG percentage chance for balance purposes.
Yeah I think that's hard to know. I'd be interested in seeing how a PTB would work for it.

He really should have his traps on him basekit at the very least. Maybe even his addon on that hurts survivors for disarming as well. I think he'd still be in the back half of killer rankings but he'd be better than he is now

Hex ruin- remove deactivation when a survivor dies and increase regression speed
Counterforce- can also apply to disarming killer belongings
Hope-similar % increase also given to crawling speed when gates are powered
Smash hit-the killer is also stunned for longer than normal
I'll add more killer perks later
Killer side has a lot more since a ton of the killer perks are just bad while survivors have fewer trash perks.
Awakened awareness-larger range
BBQ- bring BP bonus back
Bloodhound- gain bloodlust slightly faster
Brutal strength- add a slight bonus to damage kicking gens (such as an extra 3-5%)
Deerstalker-faster pick up animation bonus
Fire up- add a slight increase to movement speed per token (such as 0.5% increase)
Hangmans trick- sabotaging survivor is inflicted with a negative status effect as well (mangled? Blind? Oblivious?)
Hex crowd control- remove hex and make a generic cooldown perk
Hex undying- add an additional hex to be cleansed
Madgrit- successful attacks while carrying a survivor extends the wiggle timer
Nemesis- any stuns or the survivor escapes your grasp triggers nemesis as well.
Play with your food-tokens are only consumed on successful attacks
Pain resonance- how it was before most recent patch notes
Scourge hooks in general- add 2 more hooks and scourge hooks aren't lost from a sacrifice. Survivors are also given a better idea which hooks are scourge hooks
Starstruck-3 second delay for exposed effect to be shown to survivors
Territorial imperative- add 1-2 meter distance from a hook to also reveal a survivor
Tinkerer- can trigger multiple times.
There are a lot more perks that could be adjusted but these would make the perks worth running more without being must have perks

How often can you try to kobe in 45 seconds? Quite a few times, I imagine. - I like the direction though. Also gives you something to do while being hooked 😂
I do think there should be some downside to it though for trying. Maybe each failed attempt gives a 10 second delay to healing once unhooked?

So, let me get this straight:
DbD has a severe shortage of Killer players (thus, the 24/7 +100% for Killers on the PS5), and you want to create further disincentives for people to play Killer?
Serious question, how long would you rather wait in a queue to play then to have a Killer DC after all the Gens were finished?
Because, like it or not, that is the real choice you have. The developers can't "make" more people play Killer, and pretty much nobody wants to right now.
Several things with this
1. The 100% w4/7 bonus for Killer on PS5 is simply not true. I play exclusively on ps5 and the BP bonuses for Killer is generally from like 5pm EST until early in the morning (I don't stay up until 3am to know) and I've had several nights, last night in fact where survivor had thr BP bonuses.
2. id rather wait a few minutes for a guaranteed full game than wait 20 seconds where a killer could very likely quit for no good reason. Let's say it did impact queue times, it isn't guaranteed to be a significant change. Ive played back when queue times were awful
3.this is also not the question at hand. This isn't about making more people play Killer or not, this is about not letting people ragequit. A 2 minute ban after DCing is not going to make someone not DC.
And for the record, I do enjoy playing Killer. I play more Killer than survivor honestly.
-

-old hex ruin was fine and borderline weak because totems are in terrible spots
-myers is underated. His mirror addons are great and his tombstone addons are Overrated. Yes you get a 4k but your score is awful
-dcing should be handled differently. If killer disconnects, survivors max out survival score and it's considered an escape and you keep the item you started with along with whatever item you are holding when killer disconnects. If survivor disconnects, survivors scores are 30% greater (no cap) at the end and the killers gets all 3 hook counts for the disconnected survivor. 1st DC for the day 20minute ban, 2nd 2 hour ban, 3rd 2 day ban, refreshes after a week.
-flashlights aren't nearly as good as some of yall make it out to be
-there should be more hooks on most maps. Too many deadzones.
-clowns yellow bottles are worthless.
-keys should have another meaningful use

Yeah I feel similar about skull merchant... she is just not fun to play against or play as
-
And 3 more killers DCed today in similar situations as I mentioned before...
And yes there were many more survivors dcing
-
Although, as others mentioned, very few people are capable of playing nearly to this level, it still shows survivors have a lot more going for them than they should tbh. If you take similar skill level on both sides even at lower levels you'll get similar results (although much more messy lol)

From what I have seen of their changes over the past year and a half or so, their plan seems to be to get solos as close to SWF gameplay as possible, and presumably rebalance most of the killers around that when satisfied. So basically each trial becomes SWF-ish.
Like everyone else, it often feels like these steps take forever, and patience runs low. We'll have to wait and see if it is all worth it.
Yeah I think I'm largely cool with that as long as swf doesn't also get buffed by it
