  • Victor can now whisper sweet nothings into a Survivors ear and convince them to be his daddy.

  • Shadow Cat

Just a smol void kitty that launches itself onto survivors and claws their faces.

It has a special mobility feature that allows it to transform into a shadowy crow in order to move across the map quickly. In this form it can poop on Survivors and cause them to be blind and hindered for 60 seconds.

It comes with a purr and hiss emote. The purr emote is interactive and prompts Survivors to pet the kitty.

Thanks for that. I have gone back to the hook immediately after an unhook plenty of times, but that's generally because I hadn't even gotten out of the vacinity yet and it would be faster to go after the unhooker than it would be to hunt someone else. Maybe I'm in the wrong, but I don't think I should feel guilty about that when they're not even giving me enough time to leave the area.

You’re not wrong. It’s the best choice to make. Why should you hunt for a survivor that may or may not be across the map when you can hunt the ones closest to you? They just get mad that you’re not playing how they want you to play, by handicapping yourself.

  • You shouldn’t worry about the complaints. They’re never ending and it’s just a waste of time to let them bother you.

While I agree that Lightborn is good to give you peace of mind, I prefer Franklins’. It removes flashlights as well as toolboxes and medkits from the equation. You can set up some funny situations with Insidious and some light camping of their dropped items. I also enjoy farming salt in chat. It makes my potatoes taste delicious.

  • Only if Michael gets this:

  • Can’t stand her. I’d rather be hooked while I gaze three inches away into Bubbas beautiful eyes for a whole match rather than see poopy bird lady.

  • Should be base-kit in my opinion. The perk can just decrease its activation area to help narrow down where survivors are.

  • Being a cute Claudette or Shirtless David.

Also, if you’re obviously new or just really bad.

I would prefer the Rev-9, with its ability to be in two places at once, but we already have Twins and Knight (and to a degree, Unknown and Hag).

The T-1000 makes sense because the second movie was the more popular one and Sarah Connor was a badass in that one.

I was just thinking of what would be the most inconic, and figured the devs would just use the T-800. If they used just the first movie then Kyle Reese would have to be the survivor. 🤔

I’ll settle for the Rev-9 only because he’s a cutie (Latinos are my weakness 🥵)and I’ve been a fan of Gabriel Luna since I saw him in Agents of Shield. I don’t remember Dark Fate much so I don’t remember his abilities. Now I have an excuse to rewatch them all.

Why do I always get this feeling that so many of these "KILLER IS EZ" posts are survivor players who rarely or never play killer?

I play both sides equally - usually whichever has the BP bonus - and I don't find killer to be easy at all. Especially when I'm a non-S-tier M1 killer, survivors have no problem hopping from loop to loop, dropping pallets and making chases last a while.

Is your argument that killer is easy based on your experience as a killer player? If so, I'd love to see videos of your gameplay so you can show us all how easy it is.

And if you ask them to show us their skills with some videos/live stream they come up with excuses to not to or they just disappear.

  • I like to play target practice with Hunty Mommy. If I’m behind a window, I’ll pop up and down until she sees me and we make a little game of it. If I have Urban Evasion, I’ll crouch walk between two walls (had a fun time doing it in the balcony on Mr Cowboys map).

Booping the snoot is fun once in a while.

If I’m playing killer and I see only one person doing the objective and everyone else is hiding, everyone dies but the worker bee.

If someone DCs, I’ll two hook everyone while playing nice and then let them go.

I like to play Bartender at the bar or shop keep on Wraiths map.

If my teammates are obvious swf and look like they’re hellbent at making the killer miserable, I’ll cleanse totems, search chests, break hooks that are away from the action and admire the leaves on all the pretty bushes.

So long as we get a different icon for when a survivor is in a locker with Head On equipped and charged so I stop getting sandbagged for trying to save their asses during a chase I'm all for it (and Inner Strength too ig)

I would actually like the locker to glow yellow (not aura yellow but a pretty sparkly yellow) when someone with Head On has it active. It’ll be hard to notice an icon when in chase.

Or better yet just show us what perks other survivors have like they do in mobile T-T

This won’t happen because it’ll cause survivors to lobby dodge as much as killers do, if not more.

Can't agree with this, not even close. Maybe C tier at best. In SWF you can ignore this addon completely and allow one survivor to deal with all traps. In solo it will be just games against less annoying Legion. Trapper with both Iri maybe B tier, but not with Bloody Coil only.

That’s fine. We can agree to disagree.

  • Dark Sense: Permanently see the killers aura while standing in the gates. This will help SoloQ coordinate assistance to whoever is in a chase.

Premonition: pinpoint the range to 30° instead of 45°.

Resilience: Increase the action speed buff to 6/9/12% but make it so the survivor can’t 99% a heal. Should be an actual risk.

SpineChill: Revert the nerf. Killers have so much aura reading these days, they’ll be fine if it was reverted.

Bitter Murmur: Add on an increase to movement Speed for 10 seconds maybe? Helps low mobility killers.

Deerstalker: it should also permanently reveal the aura of the survivor if they’re the only one left.

NOED: All survivors die if the totem is cleansed 👹👹👹

    Most obvious 5 for me:

    1. Knight. Map of the Realm and Dried Horsemeat. I saw many players mentioned Call to Arms instead of Horsemeat, and this is where i can't agree at all. Without Horsemeat guards do nearly to nothing and it's impossible to land a hit with Guard without Horsemeat. CtA just a nice addon to have, it's not something you can't use your power without. MotR for obvious reasons.
    2. Singularity. Family Photo. At least partially. 2% for 1 Slipstreamed survivor, 3% for 2, 4% for 3 and 5% for 4 survivors. Singularity with and without this addons are two different killers, simply as that.
    3. Legion. Mischief List. I rarely go into matches without this addon, because without it chain 4 hits in Frenzy literally impossible (without tablets ofc) against semi-good survivor. While i understand that chain 4 hits in Frenzy shouldn't be something crazy consistent, i believe +2 seconds is what he needs badly.
    4. Trapper. Bloody Coil. I just don't understand how the weakest ability in the game almost does not require any time to completely cancel it, and does not even punish it in any way. Should be basekit just to make Trapper D tier from F tier, and i will stand on that hill forever.
    5. Huntress. Shiny Pin. It's sad that good change was reverted because of enormous amount of crying, because high B tier killer can't be A tier killer somehow, but they can at least stand somewhere in between and give her Shiny Pin basekit.

I agree with Dredge, it seems like he needs half of his addons basekit just to be good tbf.

Bubba really depends on his speed or chili or both.

Pig could have Last Will basekit, her current Ambush is only somehow okish with this addon (without downside). Additional movespeed while crouching too maybe.

I would like to see whole Warden's Keys basekit for Deathslinger. But even more than this i want Prison Chain basekit for how useful it can be.

100% Impaling Wire for Cenobite. He is awful without this addon.

Making Bloody Coil base-kit would make him upper B tier. While I like the idea, I’d prefer the other iridescent as base-kit.

  • If we get Terminator in the game, I’d rather have the killer be the T-1000 with Sarah Connor as the Survivor.

The T-1000 is one of my favorite baddies of all time.

  • The only issue I have is being blinded when facing a wall and the Survivor or flashlight isn’t in the frame. Like how the hell!

Other than that, they’re not on gens, so I’m good. I like running Franklins because it buys more time than Lightborn since the always go back looking for it. Can make for some funny plays if you camp the flashlight with SM Myers or Insidious equipped on other killers.

  • Blight.

No hope against a good and sweaty Blight in SoloQ. I’d rather face a tunnely Wraith who humps me while I’m bleeding out. At least that way I get some action during the match.

  • No, Survivors don’t need anymore handholding when it comes to NOED. They should be expected to use their brains and deduce what perks the killer is using and if they don’t bother they should be punished for it.

It’s a Hex perk, high risk/high reward, part of its reward is it being unexpected.

Now, if you wanna make NOED basekit, that’s another story.

  • As others have stated, probably because of killer power issues.

Just another reason to wish for a new game engine that takes stuff like this into consideration to make things more interesting.

  • Why should a killer perk give survivors blood points?

  • You didn’t hold the game hostage, she did. You were keeping the killer occupied and she could have progressed the match by doing gens.

If you body blocked her in a corner with no way for her to escape, then you’d get in trouble. Same for if you lead the killer to her, since that’s what is considered working with the killer.

You did nothing wrong and this character just makes me hate Mikaela even more.

  • @hermitkermit said:

I think I’m a little confused, are you saying you’re upset that because you didn’t attempt to save the last survivor, and the killer let them wiggle free or stood at the hook until they unhooked, you’re upset they led the killer to you and you died? You said you will stay away if the last person goes down because you want to get hatch. Self-preservation, you want to live. So how is what the survivor that was left to die and then spared by the killer to come find you any different? It’s self-preservation for them, they want to live too. If you don’t make an effort to save them, the killer notices this and goes out of their way to let them wiggle free or unhook, making sure not to kill them, follows them to you, kills you and then gives the other survivor hatch it’s probably because they didn’t like that you left your teammate to die.

Look you can play however you want. But If you don’t think people should be upset that you won’t try to save them at the end of the match because you want to survive, you shouldn’t be upset that the other survivor will do what they can to survive. It’s a bit hypocritical.

While I agree with your overall point, the Survivor shouldn’t team with the killer and lead them to their teammate. They can just go do a gen or open a door if they can.

The only time I can justify betraying a teammate is if that teammate did nothing for the whole match or actively tried to sabotage the team during the match, but even then, devs have stated working with the killer is a punishable offense.

  • I got the perfect buff:

    Pretty Survivor = Popular Survivor

More people willing to buy skins and mix and match

    Uglier Survivor = Non-Popular Survivor

Less people willing to buy skins, let alone even play the character

Sable was literally made to be pretty and sell skins. The 'goth' theme is pretty popular, I literally haven't seen fewer than 3 Sable Wards per lobby yet. Haddie is, objectively, an uglier survivor, and despite BHVR's best efforts, people just don't want to play as her. Why wouldn't BHVR learn this lesson and keep making skins for characters that aren't being used? They have the stats anyway, they know who is popular and who isn't.

It sucks but it is what it is. You call it 'bias' but it's just a business model.

It’s sad because I don’t think she’s really ugly. She’s just not what Hollywood conditioned the masses to see as “beautiful”.

For me, personally, I’d have designed her without the scar on her face and given her a different eye color.

  • Make Iridescent Stone basekit.

Replace Iridescent Stone with Incendiary Stone that explodes when stepped on, launching the survivor into the sky and put them into the dying state when they land.

  • Welcome to the internet.

  • Would help if you were more constructive with your post and specified what you find to be too strong with The Knight rather than just complain. Then, maybe, people would be able to give you advice.

  • Myers. Looked so bland from a Survivor perspective, guy just stares and slashes/stabs. Then I purchased him out of boredom and tried Scratched Mirror and can’t play anyone else now.

  • Not a single person has asked for any kind of buff to huntress.

This is all on the Devs and they deserve the tsunami of tears they’re gonna get as a result of this buff.

  • @Peanits said:

    Those stats do exist. 👀

As you can imagine, there isn't a significant difference in escape rates between Survivors. But I'd love to share some weird stats like these in the future if that's something y'all would be interested in.

Yes please, just make sure to “fix” it and have Claudette escape the most because she’s the best!

Is it three strikes? I've had one but they ended up reversing it so I'm hoping that wasn't counted.

I use the mute function now on people who trigger me. If I can't see their comments I won't be tempted to engage.

I’m pretty sure it’s a temporary ban on second strike and permanent ban on third strike. I think this is it for them since I’m pretty sure I’ve seen them banned once before.

May they rise from the ashes and reincarnate as SablewantyourInvocation (I’m bad at names).

The funniest way NOED can turn around an endgame is if the survivors try to take bodyblocks and protection hits while chasing someone towards the gate before they're aware NOED is active.

My favorite thing is when they’re t-bagging at the exit gate even though I spread hooks and didn’t camp. One usually likes to get a little over confident and ventures a little too close and then BAM! Insta-Down and on to the hook they go while their teammates leave them.

  • NOED is fine, especially since it glows like a glow stick now.

Part of playing survivor is deducing what perks the killer has. If you can only figure out three of them during the match then it’s safe to assume they have NOED equipped.

Killer sacrifices 1 perk slot for the majority of the game. It can be removed before it procs and it can be removed after, giving the killer zero value out of it. It’s the literal example of high risk and high reward.

If the killer was bad, the survivors should have no problems looping them and buying enough time to cleanse totems. If the killer was too good, well, they earned it.

The main reason why people hate it is because they get overconfident and don’t expect it and feel robbed of an escape they didn’t earn yet (you don’t deserve an escape until you exit through the gate).

  • @TheSubstitute said:

Playing both sides really helps. Encouraging that may be a more feasible solution than BHVR creating tutorials. If someone is having problems against a Killer playing that Killer does wonders for their counterplay.

Unless you’re me, who liked to play Trappi Boi and still managed to attract every trap on the map, thinking I was being smart and careful.

Some people claim to enjoy it but I just find it hard to believe to be honest.

Some people are masochists. I believe there are those who like to face her but they’re probably something like 4 people out of the playerbase. Perhaps the same people who like to suffer while playing Twins.

  • Every killer has survivors that just hate going against them. Sadako probably more so because no one takes the time to learn her counters.

New players really need to be forced to go through a tutorial whenever a new killer introduces new/secondary mechanics that survivors need to deal with. Loading screen tips need to be improved with images that take up the whole screen as well.

There’s just too many killers for players to go out of their way to learn how to play against them, especially since you hardly see some of them (The fabled Twins and Haddie Kaur).

What’s the best map that makes getting Stalk easy? I like Thompson House because if they’re dumb I can sometimes stalk them all at the same time if I stand on the second floor.

  • I love your username. Claudette really is the best.

I agree with the topic at hand. They can twist its neck up high while in crawler mode in order to have a good camera high so there is no excuse not to do this.

  • I mean, everything is weird. Being able to fix generators without education, healing someone by waving your hands over them and rubbing their butt, an undead Nurse floating and using Hiraishin no Jutsu, A Turkey Void that lives in lockers, being fine after getting hung up on a meat hook 🪝, it goes on and on. It’s supposed to be weird, since you know, you’re not on earth anymore.

I know it isn't really a solution to people playing like this... but I started running unbreakable every game lately. You don't get unbreakable value every match but when you do it really can be a game changer

Unbreakable has been a permanent stable of my build for a-hole killer players like this. It pairs well with Inner Strength to get a quick and hidden heal and can turn the match around.

I just wish there was a built in practice mode against AI killers for survivors that taught them how to loop. Would make SoloQ much better.

I do think 1 hook stage is better than Broken. But may be it doesnt instant kill 2 hook stage survivors after finish the pray. Perhaps survivors with 2 hook stage already is better to do the praying than doing Gen.

They can make the death hook person that performs this permabroken and non-death hook lose a hook stage.

As it is now, tool boxes with bnp are much better.
