I think it’s any rank survivor.

I was waiting ages last night to get into survivor lobbies.

Yep me too, depends on the day, yesterday was way to long as survivor, normally mornings are faster

Not a bad suggestion theres been a lot but i actually like this a maze would be kinda cool its like escape the maze before the killer finds you only one issue how would killers like trapper and hag function i guess make the traps spawn randomly?

No, same as the gates, before you are able to activate em you need to work a gen out prior escaping, some sort of mechanism can be thought around it, making the same killers useful,

  • Spine chill and premonition are just fine, don't forget that killers have counter perks too, makes no sense at all to turn him inmune to those two, why would they even exist and take space of your perks bar?

  • @GrootDude said:

I like my spine chill getting buffed :v

spine chill is crap ither way

That isnt a bug, thats what it actually is like every game since release. You can have standoffs and lose them for sure.

Definitely not in PS4 or PC, it literally takes round 2 seconds, which definitely should be removed if behind GF, not fair for the survivor

  • The wraith ones should have one while hes invisible

  • Not necessary, as a premonition must survivor, I believe the perk its just fine, no complaints, with a visual notification would be OP and spine chill wouldnt make no longer sense

End Game Collapse or EGC, and how would you get downed at the gate if you opened it, that doesn't make sense. We'll say for the sake of conversation, that you were injured the moment it opened and got down, fine, than what? You still need to spend 3 unhook self attempts to get the 4%, and that's even if the Killer doesn't just stand there and wait till you unhook yourself than down you again...

AND, most of the time when you're the last person in the game, you have been hooked once or twice, so it doesn't even matter. If by the off chance you never got hooked, flawlessly juked the Killer at every chase you were in.. you could still get downed because it's a 1v1 with either the gates closed, or you open the gate at full health and just escape... than the point of unhooking yourself doesn't even matter. Also, I forgot to mention that if it's a 1v1 the map most likely has no pallets left... so its even more unlikely to avoid the Killer with pallets that don't exist anymore.

We'll say you're on lerys, which is one of the longest distances for gate spawns in the game, and you got downed and hooked and 4%'ed off the hook, you still need to either be lucky the Killer doesn't just stand there and waits for the 4%, or the Killer doesn't just monitor both gates and gets you again...

What if the Killer is someone like Demogorgon or Hag, or Trapper, Killers that can trap the gate to avoid this... than what? What if its Freddy and you're in dream state with dream snares... I'm not bashing the concept of the possibility of you escaping, I just find it unnecessary to add the possibility if the chances are so low...

Again, you are just making killer + scenarios, the gates could have been opened by other survivors prior escaping, the hatch can be opened, pallets might be there, too many scenarios can be applied, there is always a chance, but as I said the BP bonus would make more sense instead of unhooking, atleast those 2K.

  • @FireHazard said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/733113#Comment_733113

So you think you should really have a chance to kobe off the hook, in a solo vs the Killer game, with EGC active with no time on the gates?

    Cause that's survivable yeah...

Again 1 vs 1 its not a big deal, depending on circustances, the gates depends on scenarios, most of the time they are open or even the hatch to be honest dont know what EGC stands for

  • makes sense, in that case the 2k BP option given above would make more sense,

  • Its not like I never get hooked but if you play smart the chances are highly reduced, but thanks

  • @FireHazard said:

It's designed that way because for example, if the EGC is activated when the hatch is closed and you find the last Survivor at one of the two gates... you basically won at that point.

That's why you just die instantly on the hook, it's to move on from the game. On the slim chance you somehow get a 4% on top of getting away from the Killer... Than you could possible escape if you open the exit gates? But then the Killer would just find you again at the gates... So what's the point?

That's kind of why it's a instant death, the Killer basically won and nobody wants to drag on the end game any longer.

not really, thats just an scenario out of a hundred

  • @Aven_Fallen said:

As said before, the Killer can simply wait. It would just be a huge waste of time, since the Killer would not only need to wait for the Survivor to do his attempts, but also would need to wait a full minute to get rid of a possible DS. Wasted time for both Killer and Survivor.

    Would rather prefer this:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/91961/new-scoring-event-idea-last-man-standing

This would compensate a little bit, and getting 2K Survival Points when dying as a Onehook as the last person is pretty neat.

its a time save but less fun, I wouldnt mind dou, the fact that if you die u get almost nothing of survival BP is not fair

  • @Alice_pbg said:

You know the killer would just wait there right?

There's 0 reason to leave if you're the last guy alive

Reason why I postd this its because it has happened to me, they go for a walk or make a distance, if I escape I could loop or make enough time to earn more BP, 3 escape attempts dont even take 10 seconds

  • meg, I'm thinking of getting Ash cause of the new Leather jacket or jeff

  • use your imagination thinking hes actually gay, no need to force it into a video game, not only +18 play this game

BHVR is currently taking a look at Nurses add-ons and making a "tweek" to her power (take that for what you will). The Dev team has announced this already.

My tip for learning how to play the Nurse is to avoid using add-ons until her base Blink speed/distance are memorized. Once you have a strong grasp of this you can apply add-ons as you like. My reasoning for avoiding add-ons at first, is to not become accustom to an add-on and struggle when you no longer have it. Nurse can perform really well without them in high ranks.

PROS TO NURSE: Once mastered (blinks) is the best killer in the game for pressure/ Power can ignore almost all loops/ Fast map traversal (not the fastest)/ Can end a chase quickly with blinks/ Add-ons are not needed to do well at high ranks/ Best skill cap killer with rewarding play once mastered.

CONS TO NURSE: Takes a long time to truly learn the feel of her blinks/ Struggles on maps with lots of walls (Lerys/ The game <---Not too bad/The new "Hawkens" map)/ Many people will simply Disconnect once they realize you are playing Nurse (due to her being the most powerful killer in trained hands)/ Her constant fatigue animation after every blink can get annoying after playing her for most matches (half the game is spent looking at the ground)/ Expect hate mail from salty and toxic players.

Honestly a fantastic choice for a Killer if you want to consistently shoot for 4k games or rank up to Rank 1. I wouldn't suggest pumping points into Nurse if you are a more casual player looking for a killer with fun builds.

PS: Her perk Nurses Calling is a great teachable worth unlocking.

*All of this is assuming you are on PC as Nurse on console is vastly different in terms of power/learning.*

    yep, console over here

  • @twistedmonkey said:

As other have stated the Nurse is the hardest to master but once you have her down she is the Queen of DBD for a reason.

If you do wish to learn her don't use add-ons as muscle memory is one of the greatest strengths with using her.

You can gain lots of points with her once you are competent but can struggle for them while learning her.

The best killers for farming points are Doc and Legion even if you don't kill as many.

is it worth it playing her at level 1 basically along with no perks?

  • @Horus said:

Nurse is getting nerfed so i avoid her for now

    source?

  • Seems about right, I tried to play it once last week level one against 10+ ranks, didn't went that bad, even if by the time i didnt know I could blink twice, still I was able to kill 2 outta 4

  • Strongly disagree, don't know what you are expecting from the game, plus suspense still hits me,

I knew where the hatch was in one map so I waited, all of my buddies left already, I went to the hatch and it was closed, had to run against time and my heart was beating as if I was the one running (great feeling)

2 example, my buddies left via the gate again, I was able to get at one however it was the one closed, I tried to opened but premonition alerted me of the killer, so I went away however the timer was about to end, literally 10 seconds, I kept on running to the opened gate however I wasnt going to make it, while I was running I heard the hatch and made it thru

3, suspense, nothing worst than being the last survivor alive and having to open either of the two gates, its basically I bet against the killer's choice, had to hold the engine to its completion while looking at the killer coming and then barely got away

  • @Yung_Slug said:

It's just frustrating when you can't catch your prey. Simple as that.

    use the nurse

  • @Carlosylu said:

False, I played 6 games in a row as Demogorgon yesterday, owned the team, killed 3 with regular gameplay and then proceeded to farm with the survivor who actually lasted till the end (call it luck for him) letting him escape in each of the 6 games. Do not generalize, you're just having bad luck mate. Xbox here btw

dont you loose more if you let him go?

  • @Dwight_Fairfield said:

Well you can see it in Kate's hair because she's blond. Harder to see in the darker haired characters like Dwight, Claudette, Jake etc.

I waited to collect 1 MILLION BP to prestige my meg for the 3rd time, I had her originally at level 16, then I used all of the million BP and got her until lvl 45 lol, I was told if u get a million you can prestige, I guess it changes once you prestige once

  • @[Deleted User] said:

    Nurse on consoles

Console I would say The Doctor, Nurse, Legion and Huntress as well, havent seen her in a while, everysince the new killers she went down and used to be one of the players choice

It's so nice to see intelligent people that see why this rework was just a huge nerf, and that these changes did not help at all. Bravo.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/89723/the-legion-worth-it

Legion is pretty decent in blood points BUT it is a weak killer with no power.

    But they look great

Source : hundreds of hours on legion

are we going to get any sort of re-work just like freddy? I believe Legion's idea is too original to just forget about it

  • I find pennywise a great chapter

  • Well after all of these bad reviews I guess Ill buy it just for fun then, it might be useful when the rank resets i guess, Ima keep Lvl up GF

  • @lynelmane said:

As someone who started playing the Legion AFTER their rework, I say that they are worth buying (I paid shards for mine, so no real money was spent on my end).

Mad Grit and Discordance are great perks, Iron Maiden is just okay. Legion is great at bp farming as you almost always max out your chaser emblem. They're not too difficult to play, you just have to know when to use feral frenzy and when to cut it short. Don't waste time breaking pallets if you're in chase, unless its a really safe pallet.

I only find totems are difficult to protect with Legion, as their map pressure is not as good as other killers. Use Distressing to have a larger TR if you want to get your killer instinct to work better, and abandon chases that are taking too long. Don't be afraid to M1.

    whats M1?

  • @Pulsar said:

Depends, do you enjoy constant pain? If you do, welcome to the Legion.

You mean by that that the legion will be very frustrated to play as?

  • @Jakojo said:

Discordance is one of the best perks imho. Iron Maiden & Mad Grit are really only good with other perks.

The Legion is probably the worst killer in the game. The kneecapping they gave this killer was immense. A lot of the times, you're punished for using your power to apply your add-ons effectively.

Farming bps is really great on the Legion, it's on par with the Doctor.

Well I believe that at the end of the day what is really important is the BPs collected, inst it?

I was planning getting the Spirit but its not my style, I watched a vid when the guy used the spirit along with Discordance, impossible to play against

  • @Blackowt_9120 said:

Other way around. Good survivors make your life miserable because his power can’t down people

What if you use Frenzy just to get closer and then switch to normal so you can down him with two hits only?

  • @Okapi said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/705253#Comment_705253

After his nerf, Fatal Frenzy does little to help against above average survivors. All it does is get you an easy first hit against one person if the survivors stay spread out.

what about JEFF? worth it? I was thinking about getting him with the shards

  • green ranks and below''? so the higher the rank (10 to 1) the better gameplay? or the other way around? sorry

  • @OmegaXII said:

If your diamonds mean the shards, then yes, you can buy it with 9000 shards.

Yes, my game set up is in a diff language, havent found the way to change it back to english, havent diggd enough though

  • @Okapi said:

One question, do you enjoy constant pain and suffering?

As a potential member of the #LegionGang that's what you'll face.

what do you mean by that?

  • I love the character however the perks should be different, a lot to work on yet, but the killer would look amazing, should we vote the nun as well?

  • looks awesome, wish you keep uploading more content, make an IG page for us, not alot of ppl show their DBD work

We already got an obsessive Clown wearing a Ringmaster suit that uses toxic gas as his trademark tool/weapon. They are both quite similar if it wasn't for one being tall and thicc and the other being as scrawny as a scarecrow made of 5 chopsticks.

The current clown is boring to watch AND to play with

  • sounds fun to me, and maybe the terror ratios would be the famous whistle

  • @Xboned said:

Licensing issues are the real killer.

I would love to see pennywise or the ring girl as an available killer tbh

  • IMO I would rather a less laggy and darker lobby, imagine having a terrifying silent sound along with a dark room where the survivors gather prior the game

  • @Clinton said:

Report the sore loser. It's easy to get people banned on PSN.

Does that even do something? you mean the thumb down after the game ends? or PSN itself?

  • @Micheal_Myers said:

No.. No.. No.. You all got it wrong. Let me explain what these messages mean.

"Killer said I only escaped because of my flashlight and the broken loop"

This is a coping mechanism, this isn't supposed to start a fight. It's the killer letting you know he acknowledges that he lost and also explaining to you what he will try and do to avoid this before it happens again.

For example, Tom as Wraith who is new at playing Wraith but is a Rank 11 Killer just got looped at the last gen after he killed 2 Survivors. Then Tom realizes that the loop has been going on for too long and is getting frustrated as the EGC collapse starts due to an exit being opened. You escape and the other survivor escapes. Now Tom is frustrated that he lost so to cope he decides to write the looper a message stating how he lost. In Tom's mind this will tell the survivor it won't happen again, and it also tells Tom what to practice to avoid this from happening again.

Killers want to feel superior (When i'm Myers you better be good at looping... 😉) and when they lose that superiority they get upset, so all those messages are is just a coping mechanism. Now, if they say something hurtful then that's a different story. (Called being Competitive).

    Hopefully this clears things up!

    @You_Got_Behavioured

    @SoylentPixie

    @karatinac97

looks like you got it all wrong buddy, its simply immaturity, the need to mentally grow up, period,

  • they should decorate the map and release some Halloween collectives

    back to the subject; Spirit

  • Besides the billy chainsaw's run from edge to edge, I've caught a survivor randomly by using the GF shadow, I was croaching and hidding trying to stare, I went behind 2 threes with tall grass and there she was, meg was also hiding and we both scared the sht outta each other lol

  • @sluc16 said:

I love playing against the demogorgon, the chase music is awesome, that scream you hear when he hits you or someone else brings a great scary atmosphere, and I think he is pretty balanced, not too OP, not too weak, just great.

But the new map, boy that one sucks, even worst than the pig's. Finding gens is a nightmare, useless vaults that don't help at all, and filled with dead ends where there is nowhere else to run. I think the map should be re design.

But good job on the demogorgon. Hope future killers are as good as this one.

I find it quite easy to find generators, once you get to know the map is actually great, the only problem is that is easy to find survivor and also if youre injured your definitely gonna get followed again since the map is too bright and clean, not to mention its not a large one but a thin a long one thats basically hiding at the eyes of the killer

  • @DocOctober said:

They could at least test it. There is code in the game that would reduce a Survivor's max movement speed when injured if it were used.

Why, once injured there is alot that plays against you,

    1. Literally a killer can follow your blood trace from the other half of the map and finds you easily.
    2. You screams due pain
    3. Once hooked escaping from the killer is just difficult, even more if they decide to tunnel or camp
    4. Clear bright maps are just too much for bloody survivors
