that still doesn't account for the time it would take you to change accounts. Like I said, the variables are enough that its going to be constantly shifting as people log on/off, get into matches, have matches then adjust their own values, etc. And again, this is all for that level of MMR for both sides, with a relative weight applied between the two... Its not supposed to be the same incentive for days at a time or anything. Also MMR doesn't decay (for better or worse) so that wouldn't apply. Not only that, but any type of MM system that uses variables like MMR always requires a few matches to actually gather data for its algorithm, its why games that have seasonal resets in rankings generally have qualifiers for placement in subsequent seasons instead of just forgoing resets altogether or making everyone start at the bottom again each time.
Showed the time and the difference is in minutes. but maybe you're right. Shame i don't have multiple Computers 😅.
I vividly remember something about the Rating decreasing due to lack of gameplay, not sure if it was from dev livestream or from a note, but either way it shouldn't matter since there is no gained MM Rating to decay to begin with.
require some games to gather data to put you at the right rating level, but they still have a base rating value to start from that is assigned by default. and since they were inactive before the introduction of the MM Ratings, then they are on the same boat ( waiting for data, base rating value ) so the system should put them in the same pool.
The only justification i see right now, is the few minutes difference between opening each account.

Dubiousness of all of that aside, you do realize that region is only part of the formula, right? It also takes into account things like your individual MMR ratings as both killer and survivor and the amount of matches those provide vs the respective MMR for the opposite? Random numbers to explain further, but say your survivor MMR is 200 and your killer MMR is 50. Its going to be looking for how the matchmaking is for 200 MMR and 50 MMR, then giving a shift depending on which one needs your rating on the respective side more.
Its a multipart formula thats designed specifically to fluctuate as much as its variables do. Of course this is all under the assumption that its working as intended, but seeing it vary between different accounts when its doing separate checks with multiple variables not controlled isn't outside how its designed or how its been explained.
Survivor ratings is whatever the default is since these accounts never touched that role
Killer rating is most likely the same on all of them since each account had a max of 1-3 matches in an official MM, and that was way before the introduction of the MM Ratings, so i assume they are also default. Also i believe Rating will decrease slowly if the account is inactive to compensate for the lack of gameplay. so correct me if i'm wrong but i believe that it is safe to say these accounts share majority of the variable.

of course a nurse player would have 6 accounts so they can noob stomp :P
Actually i hv 8. They are not for smurfing or whatever ( i like competing against better players and tryhard, so i never smurf ) , i won dbd keys from giveaways so i activated the keys on different accounts to farm their trading cards. And sometimes i used them for modding and other experiments just in case of a ban risk.
And since today they released the BP incentives, i wanted to see if they are really dependent on region so i installed the game and i logged in to see that the incentives are actually different even when using same IP and technically same MM ratings since these were inactive accounts.
-
Same IP, Different accounts. Inactive accounts so MM ratings prolly around the same.
-
She's fine after the range travel speed nerf goes live.
-
It is only right to give killers Shadowborn as basekit after survivors got a free perk (BT).
Many players that suffer from motion sickness don't like to play killer because of the FOV. And the ones that do play are punished by either wasting a perk slot or get motion sick. I for example suffer from motion sickness and refused to waste a perk slot, it was painful experience and had to rest after every few games.
If i ever comeback to play the game, it would be nice to have a wider FOV that doesn't make me all dizzy.
-
As an open letter to nurse mains, I'm asking you to switch things up a bit. Play Dead by Daylight instead of 4K by Slugging. Please
No need to switch things up, i stopped playing the game months ago thanks to NFT's incident lol. So fear me no more child, for I no longer inhabit the fog of the trials, but the fog of the forum.
PS: GIT GUD SCRUB.

I was trying to make the point that calling Hens' team merely "good" was disingenuous. Your average "good" team in DbD public matches doesn't use a minimap and most of the time aren't even a full SWF. Your average "good" team in DbD gets crushed by your average "good" Nurse.
I still don't understand what point you're trying to make.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3147600#Comment_3147600
You said:
Just because high level survivors aren't common doesn't mean they shouldn't be nerfed.
I responded to it.
I would love to see more modes in DbD as you suggest like separate modes for SWF and SoloQ. I even imagine a 2+2 mode which could be pretty neat.
Alas, that solution can't be that simple. After all, they still haven't implemented anything like it and it's been over 6 years.
You :
Hens's team is above your average swf in MM, so ofc this Nurse struggled and lost.
Me :
The Nurse is a comp player that is above your average Nurse from MM, still struggled and lost versus your average MM team.
Just because Hen's team use a map image doesn't mean it's something special when literally every competent SWF does the same call outs just minus the map image.
Your average "good" team in DbD gets crushed by your average "good" Nurse.
Ayrun above your average "good" Nurse struggled and lost to your average dbd team that doesn't use comms.

Same energy as "OmG tHaNa gOT nerFEd to oBliviOn bEcAuSe OP Legion and Plague. BHVR pls rEwORk Legion and Plague ASAP tHey so bRoKen omG"
Like bruh, they tweaked it like everytime they tweak other perks when they see they can be bit oppressive for the below average player, so they tuned it down a little to fit in line. Yesterday Legion, today Nurse and tomorrow maybe Pig. It has nothing to do with the killer being broken or not. So stop over-reacting and pull your panties back up.

What point are you trying to make here? We are still talking about comp players that are in the top 0.01% of players, it's just not relevant when measuring Nurse in your average public match.
Does Oracle even play DbD anymore?
Those matches are from ages ago. We now have a different (easier) Nurse in a different (easier for killers) game.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3146572#Comment_3146572
Is it just a coincidence that it took a Nurse to stop Hens' 4E streak at 49? There is a very real possibility that that Nurse killed the last 40 survivors she went up against before that game, moreso than with any other killer.
You talking about bias is laughable. You are a Nurse main. You're as biased as they come.
Nurse is not balanced. People will not stop calling for nerfs, regardless of how much you try to defend your precious main.
That's not just a good team. That is basically the best DbD team to ever play in public matches and easily in the top 0.01% of teams. Seriously can you even find another team that use a minimap, call out everything and sweat that hard in public matches?
I reversed the situation, where instead of the best SWF, it is the best Nurse.
That's not just a good Nurse. That is basically the best DbD Nurse to ever play in public matches and easily in the top 0.01% of Nurses. Seriously can you even find another Nurse that play in high level comp and sweat that hard in public matches?
Doesn't matter if currently they still play or not since the vid is when they used to play. Also that Nurse doesn't magically become fodder just because her team is gone.
Old vid true, but same Nurse as today (difference is bugs). but all is compensated due to the lack of communication, high ping and not the whole survivors sweating their balls off, seems as a reasonable trade off tbh. Also even at that time, plebs were crying bout Nurse so :x.

Same argument, different words. The work of constant nurse defenders who aren't ready to see her get some form of a nerf because she's ridiculous regardless of whether or not you say " Git gud " In nicer, more illusive terms, so i'll just, i dunno....state the obvious so that it shuts down this topic.
You can't really...play AROUND her power, that's her problem. Unless any of you are literal superhuman beings who think beyond the speed of sound itself, you couldn't tell me you can predict where a nurse is going to blink, when they're going to do it and how far they might go. That's what makes the most unpredictable, nigh-impossible killer to stop. I can list a few killers who are easy to telegraph, like Huntress, Pyramid head, Dead Slinger, Nemesis, Trickster; y'know the one thing they all have in common? While their attacks are versatile, They're all L I N E A R Meaning you can learn to play around their main powers and render them (For the most part.) Kinda useless.
You can't do that with nurse, Nurse is FAR from linear; she's so versatile, the amount of things she could do with her power is actually over the top, whether it's baiting a survivor into an Early DH, Baiting them into trying to spin said killer, herding them in one direction or into a dead zone; she has the ability to do that and that's what makes HER power oppressive and impossible to predict. The ONLY counter-play, i've seen killers try to hide behind is "Be less predictable." Kinda hard to do if you can't even telegraph her moves so you can react to her plays. Her blinks are quite literally in an instant, and no one can pre-emptively assume she's going to teleport (relating to my first point made) and spin suddenly, no one here is superhuman or has god level feats; we're not goku, we don't move at light speed.
I'm sure you all understand this quite well but refuse to take the fact that at the VERY LEAST, she need a rework or some sort of change so that her power isn't downright oppressive in the hands of a player who understands her power ( And isn't downright useless in the hand of those who dont.)
Ofc same argument, because it is a skill issue.
You say that you can't play around her powers, but good players DO play around her powers. So why won't you take the advice that we keep preaching and start putting the same effort as them.

Ladies and Gentlemen… I present you the Killer mindset. A mix of undeserved arrogance and deliberate ignorance of facts. A nurse’s high skill curve doesn’t mean she should be all powerful. That seems to be your main misunderstanding. I’ve put in thousands of hours as well. If I’ve mastered survivor should I be uncatchable? These players aren’t ‘better’ than me. Well, I mean sure… some are. I’m not that arrogant. But these Nurse mains are just exploiting an imbalance in the game. They are bringing a gun to a fist fight and then patting themselves on the back for their awesome fighting skills.
But she should be all powerful when going against scrubs that refuse to learn and adapt. It is stupid to expect a scrub to stand equally versus an experienced player. Nurse versus equally good SWF is balanced, so the issue is not Nurse but the players that publicly admit that they give up and DC everytime they see her instead of giving their best to develop some skills.
Just because you have hours doesn't mean you have reached the top. I have over 5K on CSGO, does that mean i'm in the same league as Pro Players ? ofc not. It is the mentality that need to change. As long you give up and DC and refuse to learn, then doesn't matter how many hours you have, you'll never develop any meaningful skill that make you compete in the same league as players that actually put in effort. To reach higher level and be more consistent you need to actively face players that are better than you and give your best each game (tryhard). So YES they are "Better" than you. and Again, Nurse is balanced, just not toward SoloQ, but toward SWFs as it should.

Seriously… how many times do I need to spell it out. No one buys that argument. I realize that many killers have a problem accepting the fact that their wins are ‘assisted’. They want to believe that they win 100% because of their amazing ability in a fair game. They are just that much better than every one else. But come on man… it’s time to burst that bubble and wake up to reality. She’s broken. You’re playing EZ mode. No one is impressed. Yes…. She was really hard to master. Kudos to you for going through that work. But stop being lazy now. Play something that has some level of challenge.
It's a fact. Skilled players are better than Scrubs. Scrubs need to put in effort learning instead of cry and moan everytime they get decimated by someone that climbed the skill ladder higher than them.
Their wins are deserved since they put in time to master their craft instead of asking for hand outs. Time for you to do the same and master survivor role.
So stop blaming players that are better than you and start looking at the mirror for once.
And here's a tip for you: To reach higher skill level, you need to drop the casual mentality.

So instead of you becoming a good survivor, you want good killers to be nerfed to compensate for your low level?!
You mastered a very difficult killer. You’ve proven your mastery

Flannel is not a advantage, can be detrimental and far from OP like you paint it to be, flannel is not good, it is accessibility, stop having such a negative mindset, good nurses will not be using the flannel, i assure you. Having a sore mentality is not good, focus on what matters.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3122119#Comment_3122119
For accessibility, is simple, turn on and off and the feature like the pinhead landing.

The flannel would be turned on and off, veterans that alteady play nurse will not turn it on, if you are upset that accessible features would be more welcoming to people, this is distasteful and also a elitist mindset, focus on what matters and dont dictate how others should play.
As i said before, a third wheel is NOT an accessibility feature. You want to use it as "Accessibility Feature" ( using your logic here) then you can just use the flannel addon without creating a problem that sweat players WILL ABUSE.
You don't seem to understand that the sweat mentality is very different from your average casuals right?!!
Sweat lords will use and abuse anything to gain advantage and absolutely destroy their opponents. So do you actually think they will just turn the Flannel option OFF just because they are already good with Nurse instead of abusing the heck of it?!! If you say yes then you're naive, sorry.
Giving them a free indicator that reveal blink deadzones without losing addon slot is something you don't want good Nurses to have, trust me on that.
I would understand if you ask BHVR for a solo lobby with bots to train and learn in a safe environment, but asking for a drastic change that can be abused just to make it easier for new players is something BHVR should never consider. Balance around High levels and NOT around New players.

He also won 250+ games in a row with her. Clearly perfectly balanced killer and just need range add ons to be nerfed. Everything else is fine, just have 5000 hours in a game and hope your team does too, when you can hope to win againts her.
He doesn't actually have 250+ games won in a ROW. He lost games that were uploaded in his YT and for some reason he didn't count them as a loss. He only count the games from stream.
Majority of DBD players are casuals, so ofc it is possible for a comp player to have a high winning streak.
Comp player having high winning streak doesn't mean that the killer is unbalanced. Just the comp player is more skilled than the majority of the casual player base.
There is some survivors with over 500 win streak, does that make survivors broken? ofc not.
Also Alf lost in tournaments in an equal ground so there you go.
-
The only nerf for Nurse that i can see acceptable is decreasing travel speed of range addons ( just like when it was bugged ). Removing Range is a bad move imo due to the existence of large maps.
-
"would just be more welcoming to new nurse players" . "The new player should be able to play nurse satisfaying enough just like the veteran does"
Nurse is already welcoming for the ones that want to get good at her, they just have to put effort at learning because as you said, NEW PLAYERS.
You're out of your mind if you think new players should play roughly the same as Veterans do.
New players need to climb the skill ladder just like everyone else did. If they face a Veteran, then i expect the Veteran to absolutely demolish new players.
Accessibility features
Accessibility features are the likes of colorblind mode, FOV slider and such that help players that suffer from certain conditions, and not a third wheel that affect learning curve.
Flanned is not OP
Imo it is more of a distraction that hinder you than help you. BUT, removing her from being an Addon and make it basekit will create a problem.
You see, at low level plays you might not think too much about having a free addon slot and still have Flannel to guide you, since if it were OP you would just use the Slot for Flannel anyway. BUT the problem start to kick in when you climb to the sweat level.
Top level you will need to squeeze everything to your advantage. Making Flannel a basekit will in turn give a free addon slot that can be used for better addons and still have flannel to assist you.
But Veterans have muscle memory for blinks, they don't need Flannel you might say.
Visual Knowledge of Blink landing zone will not just decrease learning curve of blink landing locations, but also the learning of map structures since Nurse players are required to have more understanding of the map to avoid blink deadzones as much as possible.
So what will the sweats do ? Turn On the Flannel indicator and use two range addons and will have 100% accuracy without the downside of blink deadzones due to the Indicator allow them to spot blink deadzones and avoid them.
Keeping the Flannel as an Addon is a good thing to avoid it from being abused by sweat lords.
-
You/He can't call it 300 times in a row when he already lost during the streak.
For example here:
Alf got eradicated multiple times in tournaments when he used to play comp.

The only reason why nurse is still like this is because the devs don't know how to balance this game. Even someone with 500 hours can tell that deathslinger is weak and nurse is really strong. The devs however don't see this, that's why nurse got her 3 blinks again and deathslinger got a horrible (undeserved) nerf. I also didn't say that ALL nurse mains don't know how to play other killers>: ''Nurse is so OP that some people don't know how to play any other killer anymore.'' If you believe nurse is balanced just because she didn't get a nerf so far then you are mistaken my friend. BHVR only looks at statistics and beacuse she has a low killrate she doesn't get nerfed. I almost never see a bad nurse so i guess because i don't play at low MMR i have to deal with this broken killer over and over. You don't have to agree with me but trust me, BHVR doesn't listen to their experienced playerbase, they just look at numbers...😅
i guess because i don't play at low MMR
You're not high MMR. High MMR players do know how to counter Nurse.
Nurse is so OP that some people don't know how to play any other killer
Nurse require different approach when using her than the other killers and not because she's OP, so ofc players that only play Nurse will not be as good with other killers since they operate differently. so your point is invalid.
she didn't get a nerf so far
Nurse got multiple nerfs
BHVR only looks at statistics and beacuse she has a low killrate she doesn't get nerfed
Nurse have a low kill rate because she's hard to use against competent teams ( Knowing how to blink is not mastering btw ) Anyone can pick Nurse and develop muscle memory for the blinks, but to verse a good team that knows what they're doing ? you'll get your rear violated by each survivor. Nurse is the most balanced killer in the game along side Blight, and they both don't need to be nerfed because low level players can't seem to bother learn how to verse them.
I almost never see a bad nurse
It's not that you don't see bad Nurses, but it is YOU who have low skills when versing Nurse, so even the bad ones will appear strong to you.
Trust me
No
Nurse is OP with 0 counterplay
Actual good survivor versing good Nurses https://youtu.be/_88aLjAeDvg
tl;dr : Nurse is Balanced and GamerEzra need to learn versing Nurse instead of hoping BHVR would nerf her to his low level.
No further discussion is needed.

This isnt a skill issue. This is a bad balance issue. Blight is poorly designed. He is literally the definition of an overpowered killer with Tinkerer + Ruin + Undying. He is a killer that can abuse the game mechanics as well, im talking about that mouse DPI ''tech'' (its more like an exploit.. but whatever..) If you really think Blight is fine, you havent faced a good blight yet.
Blight is well balanced. That build is fine, i used to run it on Nurse sometimes (Surveillance - Tinkerer - Ruin - Undying) and actual good teams knows how to work around it. It is only a problem to uncoordinated teams and to avg and below avg SoloQ players. And don't throw the SoloQ argument at me, this game ain't only SoloQ, and the Killer ain't there to baby sit a player just because he's a SoloQ, get over it.
Killer that can abuse the game mechanics as well, im talking about that mouse DPI
Using DPI ain't an exploit and not abusing, but if you want then coms are an exploit too.
Getting clapped by a good killer with good build that you don't like isn't a reason for it being nerfed to your level. Take a deep breath and accept that you're not as good as you think you are, there's no shame in it, accept it and work on getting better rather than getting tilted.
https://imgur.com/a/4gXGlh6 https://imgur.com/a/QwPmXVg https://imgur.com/a/2U2J14TNurse and Blight will have it hard against equally good opponents. But sadly you only view it as ( Good Nurse/Blight Vs average Survivor ) instead of using equal sides, therefore you think they are unstoppable.
Here is Ayrun having it hard against only one tourny player https://youtu.be/6Z-vk9tQ4J8
Your other comments shows that you're far from being a good player thinking that clown is OP and only low tier killers are fair. So hopefully you will learn more and feel comfortable taking on competent killers and not just fodders.
And i still hold my stance, this is a skill issue and not balancing issue.
Anyway don't expect another reply from me, i'm not active much. Cheers

All they have to do is implement a training lobby where you face bots to learn the killer, addons, perks and maps. so players can learn. but nope, push COSMETICS $$.
I stopped playing this game when they endorsed NFTs and if i ever want to play it again, then a training lobby would be a great way to catch up with all the addon/perks changes and get back in shape without having to put up with sweaty baboons.

Your 1st blink is to set up your 2nd blink, so always make the 1st blink in a safe place where you have a higher chance to hit your 2nd even if the survivor does weird movement. Also don't be afraid to fatigue if you're not confident to hit your 2nd blink or if the survivor is facing a dead zone. also keep mental notes of their playstyle to easily read them in ur next chase.
Depends at which level you are with nurse. If you are at least average then Crossplay ON, if below average then Crossplay OFF. It is good to verse better players than you, but sometimes it overwhelm you and do you more harm than good.
-
So i watched your Nurse matches, and here what i found;
Crossplay on = bad players ( for obvious reasons )
Survivors are terrible: They don't mind game, they don't zig zag to make u miss blink nor double back, 95% of chases they run in a straight line without looking back to counter react. They have zero awareness, they don't know how to spread the pressure, they group together giving an easy snowball potential. they wait on pallets, they vault windows near you as nurse, loadout is meh. overall they play like they have 20hr playtime maximum.
You as Nurse is very newbie: Double blink without having recharge, very slow reactions, poor map reading, no flicking, no checking surroundings when blinking, lack of predictions, getting lost for no reason, lack of aggressive plays.
Verdict: I can safely say your MMR is 100% not high.
-
Stop being extra sensitive.
-
If you look for high level no mercy streams then just ignore every popular streamer, since they usually don't go all out to not get hate from survivor viewers.
Killer Streamer : XenoDBD ( Sweaty Comp player )
Survivor Streamer : motaz 1v1 ( Comp player that destroyed almost every popular streamer such as OTZ, Auryn, Tru3 and Jordirex )
Edit: Xeno rarely do YT, but do Twitch but not consistent. While Motaz1v1 do YT but rarely do Twitch :x.
If you look for somewhat consistency then SupaAlf is your best bet, even though he doesn't sweat as much as he was since he grew big on YT and Twitch, but he still dominate.

I guess when playing Nurse with 2 brown add-ons I've just never ever faced someone with a brain :/
Omg man you should join Oracle or something since Xeno compared to you is a noob.
Winning using brown addons prove that you're not facing competent players, and they're average at best.

Now you're going to be reported for AFKing and the people contributing are going to be more royally pissed off that you're afk tabbing than the person cheating/helping with gen speeds

Do you know where I can go to read on the upcoming update to bans or you just pulling this out of nowhere?
I already clarify that in report that i go afk since i don't want to deal with it. been doing it since 2018, i got some cheaters banned while my account is perfectly fine. And why would i contribute to a waste of time anyway ?!! i have better things to do then sit there entertaining a cheater.

Do understand that family sharing and IP/HWID spoofers exist. This is why hackers are unstoppable on PC.
Seperate PC from Consoles. Change crossplay.
Do understand that Cheaters will always exist in every online game, what we can do is report them and hope they don't cheat again even though that sounds silly. There is no magical anti-cheat that instant ban them.

Except reporting does absolutely nothing. The ever growing collection of hacker vids being posted almost daily is proof of that.
I actually track the profiles that i report and they do get banned after i report them.
-
Step one : Record a clip of them cheating
Step two : Go to a corner and face the wall
Step three : Tab out and watch a YT video or something till the game is over
Step four : get their steamID and report them
Step five : move on to the next game.
Interacting with them in the trial is what they thrive for, so don't.

she's still godlike without them though?
Not against players that have a working brain.

If they nerf Nurse Double-Recharge or Double-Range i'll kiss the game goodbye.

Angry Survivor : Baby killer / need to tunnel and camp to win / noob need NoEd..... etc
Killer : Hold your L / Ez / Cry
Don't try to explain anything to them by writing why you did what you did in the match, they have a peanut of a brain, so just trigger them with "Cry" or "Lzz" or something similar and move on. Or just stay silent, but i find it better to ignite them more then leave :3.
If they Comment on your Steam Profile, just delete it if it bothers you, otherwise comment back with a screenshot of their death followed by "Don't be a sore loser, Loser" . If they messaged your friends and they talked to you about it, laugh about it together.
