Last Nurse Nerf i took a break from playing while contemplating if i uninstall or not, but if this time they nerf her more by touching either Double-Recharge or Double-range then a permanent uninstall is unavoidable. Ain't gonna waste time playing a massively unbalanced game.

Blacklisting 3rd party overlays that used for communications in public MM.
Or
If 3 or 4 in the lobby are friends, then the killer unlock 5th perk slot.

It's the streamers fault and not the game's. If a streamer want to put a TTV in his name, then he should expect to get sniped and deal with it since he asked for it. If the streamers still want to advertise themselves then they can put a delay and a box to hide their perks, Ez.

By playing and making mental notes of your mistakes to correct them in your next match. You won't get better overnight but you'll get there.
Try to record your matches and watch them to see what you could've done better.

" is not from the current active players" - And? You still not answered my question, how is it relevant if player is active or not?
"SBMM is great for competitive players since now we can actually compete against strong opponent(s)" - how do you know that? You are competing against equal players. They are neither strong nor weak. That's the whole point of SBMM. If there is no leaderboard and no ranks than you have absolutely no measure of where you are.
you mentioning the % of the achievement is IRRELEVANT and can't be used as a reliable source of statistics like you're trying to do. You're treating the 6% like it's only for Active players which is flawed logic, that's what i'm trying to tell you but somehow you're not getting it. But anyway i'm done with this point.
"You are competing against equal players" Yes, which is GREAT and BETTER than the old system where you compete against players that either don't know how to press M1 or massively outmatched giving you no room for improvement. You won't be able to get better by playing against noobs, but you will if you face opponents of your skill level or slightly better, which what SBMM aim for.
I can understand the lack of leaderboard point, but the ONE you're using as skill measurement (old ranking system) is flawed and can't be relied on for accurate measurements.
Anyway i'm done with this conversation all together since it's pointless talking to someone already have his mind set, and tbh i'm bored of wannabes that run away the moment the game became actually competitive. So bye m8 & good luck on your next game.

"So you can't rely on it for actual statistics of current active players." - how is it relevant if they are currently active or not?
You can check time played by percentile to understand that it's not relevant: https://howlongis.io/app/381210/Dead+by+Daylight
You keep talking about fair matches... But that has nothing to do with what I'm talking about, which is measure of skill. Those 2 things are unrealated.
What do you not understand ?!! The 6.1% you keep using is NOT to be relied on to see how many currently are at R1-5, since the 6.1% is not from the current active players which are around 60K player a day (steam only) but from ALL the accounts that have DBD registered on them. GET IT ?
Fair matches ? i'm talking about Competition. Old ranking system had no competition, but current one does. SBMM is great for competitive players since now we can actually compete against strong opponent(s). If you fail to see this then you lack the competitive mindset, sorry.

Apparently only 6.1% of all PC players are cavemen:
Source: https://steamcommunity.com/stats/381210/achievements
Legendary survivor
Reach survivor online rank 1.
6.1%
And apparently I'm not a caveman, because highest I ever got was 3. But you are free to believe whatever you made up in your mind. Myself, I'll look at stats.
6.1% Of ALL accounts that have DBD, and not only the active DBD players. So you can't rely on it for actual statistics of current active players.
You don't have competitive mindset. Competitive players likes SBMM for the challenge it gives and how hard the matches are when competing against others, and not because some random rank that doesn't mean anything ( yes, it doesn't measure your skills ).
Old Rank : Random matchings, a level 18 can be put to face a SWF consist of R4, R15, R8, R8. Literally no competition, the level 18 will find it hard to compete and will be destroyed no questions asked. Meanwhile the SWF will go ez mode on him and bully him without bothering using a single brain cell and still win easily.
SBMM : Killer and the Survivors have aprox the same ratings, meaning the gap of skill between the two sides are on a similar level making the match fair which in turn create competition between the two sides. Both will have to compete and use their skills to the fullest to see it through.
Which one is good for competitive players ? Ez Answer, SBMM.
"It's dead to me. As in I'm done with it." Words of a wannabe competitive player.
-
It is a competitive Game, but sadly an unbalanced one.
-
Uninstall obviously. It's pointless to play a severely unbalanced game dominated by one side. Nurse (best killer in the game) as she is now be struggling at high level matches, nerfing her is just hitting the nail in the killer role coffin.

Real tactics are patrolling gens, running survivors off gens (herding), so they 3 gen themselves , etc... Tunnel, slu, camp is "crap tactics" for pathetic killers that can't win any other way
Done talking to a Scrub. You have nothing to say except for "Play the way i want you to play, and follow survivor rulebook".
-
For exposing your hypocritical way of thinking ?
People like you that can't win without those crap tactics
Keyword "Tactics". Ain't nobody gonna play by your made up rules so stop expecting killers to follow your Survivor RuleBook and limiting themselves to entertain you. I chose Killer role to Kill Survivors and not entertain them. You chose Survivor role to survive, so [BAD WORD] SURVIVE and stop crying.
You're just scared they'll do something about it
You're delusional if you think they'll do something about tactics and strategies because of noobs like yourself. It's like saying Valve will remove Utility lineups or stop players from holding angels with AWP because noobs don't seems to know how to deal with'em.
I run with full team, and we discuss our dc's
Good job revealing how g4rbage of a team you're in lol. Imagine abusing an exploit then have the audacity trashing on Killers that play how the game is intended :x, pathetic.
It's funny how you want Killers to entertain you by limiting themselves but you don't want to limit yourself so killers have FUN. Anyway, don't expect killers to play the WAY YOU WANT. You're not entitled for free escapes nor free unhooks. Git Gud and earn your escape and unhooks :).
-
git gud and stop ruining your teammates fun by DC'ing.
"I never have and have 4ks without it" : Yea, against players that never reached at least R15 lol.
"I can 4k any team with any killer with those tactics" : No, you won't. you'll get clapped so hard that it would be a miracle if you get a single kill against a competent team. So drop the BS.
If you yourself don't care about your teammates FUN by DC'ing, then why the Killer should ?!!
Don't want Killer to Slug, Camp and tunnel ? Simple, do these: Don't loop, Do a Gen every 5 minutes, Stay Injured.
Fair trade right :), lets make it fun for both sides :D. If you disagree then you're a hypocrite scrub.
-
Chase time, Match length, Number of Gens when the Match ended, How many hits Given/Received, duration between hits Given/Received, Time not in a chase, Consistency of hooks (calculated in multiple games).
Something like that.

Buff SoloQ to swf level = Making most killers have no chance winning, and in process making SWF even stronger.
Buff Killer so swf is less powerful = You do realize that in turn nerfs SoloQ right!!
Lmao this is funny. So if Solo Q becomes as strong as SWF and killers are buffed, then Solo Q's buff won't count.
Yep, that's your flawed logic. Glad you noticed.
Correction: SoloQ becomes as strong as 𝐎𝐋𝐃 SWF. just in case you strawman to it.

I gotta say this was pretty funny.
Oh dear don't tell me anything about my precious second chance perks because the only one I have equiped is DH, and maybe adrenaline if you consider it so. Not to mention I usually switch DH to SB. Once more I have to say that my issue isn't finding the totems, my issue is that I don't have the time to look for them.
Lmao you statement regarding how I play incorrectly if I rely on my team. Sorry, but do you like EVER play solo q? Believe me, anyone with more than 67 brain cells will know how unreliable solo q teams are. How wonderful, a team game. But guess what, if I am the only one that touches gens, while my team either crouches in bushes or stays in lockers, I can't afford not doing my objective so if I somehow manage to do it later my life gets easier.
Solo Q is 1v4. Please just stfu, everyone agrees that solo q is hell because of how bad your team can be. And if you have some team mate that drops every pallet, at that point there are 2 killers in the game.
If solo q would be brought to swf level, then killers could recieve buffs so swf is less powerful and solo q won't become unplayable.
So it's okay for you to equip and use a 2nd chance perk, but when a killer does the same you cry noob killer (double standard) and demand the perk to be nerfed and even go to the length of blaming the killer perk instead of your team's bad play ?!! (Salty chips)
you say that your issue is not having the time for them due to your team being bad. but let me ask you this; what does this have to do with NOED ?!! NOED did not make your team play bad. Also if your team was as bad as you claim then the Killer should've finished the game before you finished 5Gens, which means the killer was just as bad, so clearly you had time, unless you're also as equally bad as your team, then it was a normal match where the killer got one kill and 6 hooks (sadly for him).
Yes i play SoloQ, and my claim still stand, this is a team reliant game (survivor role), if you can't rely on your team then you are playing incorrectly. Having bad teammates is nothing out of the ordinary and it is part of the experience in a team based game. And having bad teammate have nothing to do with your opponent nor his perks.
"SoloQ is 1v4, Please just stfu". saying stfu ain't changing the fact that IT IS A 1V4. and who's everyone ?, i'm a soloQ player and i'm telling you you're wrong.
"I am the only one that touches gens" You said you've done 2 Gens, so how come you've reached EGC if not for your teammates HELPING doing gens eh?!!. Do you think the Killer is not being pressured by them ?!!!
If SoloQ becomes as YOU WANT where a single player can dominate solo without the help of the team then the balance is massively in favour of survivors since it is a 1v4. And in turn it makes SWF even stronger and most killers become unplayable.
"If solo q would be brought to swf level, then killers could recieve buffs so swf is less powerful and solo q won't become unplayable."
Thank God you're not a dev at BHVR.
Buff SoloQ to swf level = Making most killers have no chance winning, and in process making SWF even stronger.
Buff Killer so swf is less powerful = You do realize that in turn nerfs SoloQ right!!
Anyway i'm done with this "I'm salty because i died on my first hook, but instead of blaming my team bad play, i'll blame the killer perk" nonsense. Git Gud and have a good rest of your day, bye.
-
Survivors need to find surviving hard and scary, and not some walk in the park giving no [BAD WORD] about the killer existence.
-
This is a Team Problem, and not a Perk problem.
Don't like NOED ? Do bones
Hard to find Bones ? Use a perk or bring a map that help with this
Don't want to touch your precious 2nd chance perks for a totem perk nor bother doing bones? Don't cry when you get exposed by NOED
But i play SoloQ ? Doesn't matter, it's a 1v4 not a 1v1.
Buff SoloQ ? Again it's a 1v4, and doing that will also buff swf and make the game more survivor sided than it already is.
"you MUST NOT rely on your team doing gens". This is stupidity. The survivor role revolve around teamplay and relying on each other. If you can't rely on your team then you're playing incorrectly.
Bad teammates ? Not the perk's fault.
NOED is for Noob Killers ? So are the MULTIPLE 2nd chance perks that Survivors use MULTIPLE TIMES in the same match while NOED only works once and can even be removed before it activates.
-
Not planning to play him, and his perks are good but not worth spending money on.
-
Killer : The Nurse
Tryhard build : BBQ - Infectious Fright ( No addons )
Fun Build : Ruin - Tinkerer - Undying - Surveillance ( Double Range ) Midwish or the game offering.
Why Tryhard build only two perks ? : So i try hard lol. For me the definition of a tryhard is someone with a competitive mindset that try to improve his skills, so i try hard with only two perks to sharpen my skills further. People that use multiple 2nd chances perks i personally view them as players that rely heavily on perks than their own skills.
What's the deal with Fun Build ? : For some it seems like a sweat build, but for me i use it when i want to give Survivors a fun horror experience since it is a horror game.
-
Top players actually WANT to face a challenge versing a good opponent that can make them sweat. That's the mentality of a competitive player.
DeathSquads and top killer : Great, now finally i can have fun versing good opponent(s) and to sharpen my skills even more.
-
It doesn't belong in DBD.
-
Learn to adapt to the killer powers and start countering them instead of removing them because you're too lazy to learn new playstyles.
-
Doing this will mean longer queue time since making "unranked" and "ranked" create two separate pools. And it doesn't change the fact that Tryhards can still join unranked and sweat to demolish you. Also it won't be too different from ranked with the changes you suggested.
IMO it would be better if you can't use another killer/survivor teachable perks.

And it's players like this that validate my ritual of dcing in loading if I see a killer bring a map offering like this because I know they're going to play like an ass
Not, it doesn't give you the right to DC and ruin your teammates FUN. How come you want killers to give you fun matches but you yourself a survivor don't want your survivor team to have fun ?!!.
Using map offering so survivors can have FUN experiencing the true horror of this game while having a hard time surviving. I mean isn't this the point of choosing survivor role in a horror game ?!!.
-
Great Build that i personally use when i feel like giving survivors a fun experience in a horror game. I want them to be scared and have a hard time surviving :D.
Killer : The Nurse
Build : Ruin - Undying - Tinkerer - Surveillance
Addons : Double range
Map Offering : The Game - Midwish
-
Killer : The Nurse
Perk : Infectious Fright
Let the sluggin game begins.

Ok its clear you don't actually know a lot about balance and not that it matters but you sound fairly young or new.
" its clear you don't actually know a lot about balance" Says the one that wanted to give survivors free perks when they already have it easy. And also wanted Ruin lv2 as base kit instead of lv1 lol ok then. U clearly don't even know what balance means by your logic of thinking m8.

Not everything in the game balance-wise needs to be equal, some things need more attention than others but anyways I shall begin.
- Making Ruin Tier 1 as base wouldn't work. Tier 1 Ruin is weak, it's the same as a normal gen kick, that is why it isn't used. It also would mean every single gen kicking perk would have to be reworked or scrapped. Making Ruin tier 2 or 3 regression multipliers as a base for kicking would be so much better.
- BBQ is already an incentive for killers to start a new chase and it obviously doesn't always work like that. If a killer is going to camp, a perk won't just change his mind even if he knows where they are, and good killers already leave to start new chases. BBQ is good for killers that can quickly zoom to a gen that needs protecting but it is not necessary. Also this would mean BBQ would have to be reworked. More work for behavior, they already have a hard time reworking and buffing things at a good pace.
- BT is a strong candidate for base perk because 1) it would mean survivor builds could be more unique and have an extra slot and slowly stop being so meta heavy, and 2) when it is needed, it is necessary. If the killer is camping, BT punishes him, but if the killer plays good by not tunneling or camping, BT wasn't needed and neither side is punished. BT also wouldn't really need reworking, just make it effect the timer of the base BT.
- A text chat wouldn't super help the solo queue. It would not only take time to text, but console probably wouldn't be able to do it, meaning solo queue for 3 out of 4 of the consoles wouldn't get help. A better idea would be an icon wheel. Pull it up, and quickly choose an icon to appear next to your survivor portrait saying what you are doing or going to do.
- Kindred was only an option as well because again, it is a perk that doesn't punish the killer, but helps solo queue without giving advantages to SWF. It is very helpful and it sucks because solo queue almost NEEDS it to even have a functioning time.
"Not everything in the game balance-wise needs to be equal" I agree, Killer side need to be stronger.
- Ruin lv1 is fine since it will make the killer save time without punishing survivors too much for leaving gens by making base kit overpowered. Ruin lv2 as base kit will make survivors demand for nerfs day 1 guaranteed, and for good reasons.
- BBQ still an incentive to start new chases. Saying that some players use it but not take the chases doesn't automatically reflect on the purpose of BBQ. I can say the same thing about BT that a killer will tunnel even if the Survivor have BT. And no BBQ doesn't need rework by making it base kit, i think it's fine as is, and could help reducing campers. since most campers choose to camp due to them having no clue where survivor are. And yes i am aware of the ones that do it as a religion, and tbh no survivor perk gonna save you from them if they decided to play for the sole purpose of camping.
- Any perk with a good argument can be considered a strong candidate to be base kit, not just BT tbh. " it would mean survivor builds could be more unique and have an extra slot" it can also translate to killer to have extra slot and unique build to shake up the meta.
- Many games have text chat on PC while don't on Console, it's nothing out of the ordinary. I rather have text chat on PC than emotes or whatever form of icon since it won't be accurate since there will be limit on how many icons/emotes, so maybe Console users can have that but for PC users it is best to have text chat, and it won't take too much time since PC users are already used to texting while competing. The only one that won't be able to chat is the one being chased, but that can be resolved by commands like in Counter Strike.
- But Kindred do punish Killers like hag or trapper, and also hurt killer that use camping as a strategy when camping is needed.
-

Honestly yeah, I think kicking gens should provide much more regression, like ruin tier 3 regression if you kick a gen, or even make kicking a gen require the survivor to work on it for a couple of seconds to stop the regression. But also, BBQ isn't a perk that is usually required. I included kindred as a maybe as well since solo queue is at a definite disadvantage, and kindred is a perk that doesn't really help SWF, only solo queue so it wouldn't make SWF stronger. BBQ is just a perk that is helpful but not necessary so I don't know why that would have to be made base.
Obviously the Killer no longer need to kick a Gen if he get Ruin lv1 as base kit, and by that the gen tap is removed since gen will start to regress anyway.
BBQ for aura reading as incentive for killer to start a new chase ofc, so i think it works with kindred very well since survivors can see the killer if he camp or not.
-So survivors can have safe unhooks with BT = to Killer saving time by not kicking gens
-Survivors can see camping Killer = to Killer seeing further survivor as incentive to not camp hook and start a new chase
Extras:
-Survivors can use a text chat with cooldown to make it bit easy in soloQ, and in return Killer can use an interactive totem map when loading in to choose one of the potential totem spawn as his hex spawn.
-
And to Balance that, the Killer need to have RUIN tier 1 as base kit. and since you also included Kindred then lets throw BBQ tier 1 too as a base kit. It's only fair :).

Well that's weird, because just last week i bought Auric Cells and got some points. Also it is written that you earn points by buying in-game items too. Tell your friend to check Steam point history just to make sure, then submit a ticket if he didn't receive them.

You don't see the points in Checkout but you do earn them. After buying check PointShop and you'll notice that you got points.
