Control characters would be pretty sweet, I'd buy them all. With Control 2 out this year maybe it can happen.
I'll hope we get a Control DLC too! We could get Jesse, Dylan, Pope, Dr. Darling, Ahti, Trench. We could also get a The Oldest House map with some crazy stuff!

I don't get it why this is a problem?
- It's for free track only, so EVERYBODY gets something
- You get your stuff at 82-85 level ad you're done, mission accomplished
- Like many said: their is nothing int he world make you reach level 200! IT's just a little bonus
Personally I like it, even someone who don't get the premium get something. I mostly finish the Rift early, especially since I play double my usually playtime, if their is any XP event for extra Shards. I agree they should add IS for every 10th level, like 100, if they don't want gave us 250 only in the premium - which is also a nice bonus.
What I see it's a busywork, who like unlocking stuff, getting more stuff for do or simply done the Rift soon and all those extra fragments feels a waste or meaningless.

I only use when play Gabriel default perks. I like it, since not once I managed to save the whole team! Why, I injured, ran to the downed survivor heal up then even, if I get hit Endurance save me and I got 3% Haste! Run to next survivor again or unhooking!
Personally I barely see anyone using it. Or ayn of Gabriel's perk. Still wondering what perk I can make more useful.

I1m sure only 1 trial and I got Vecna's hand and got the achievement! But so far my death rate is almost equal with Nemesis, Pig, Ghostface and Wekser.

Agree. Also, the animation when you pick-up something from the chest is broken, feels like turn 70 degree left and pick-up item outside of the chest. Very weird!!!

So far only Ruft fragments was in the rotation, at least someone said. Maybe someone who maxed the Rift get BP instead. I agree they should give IS too. Or some random charm?

It was a bad design choice. I didn't own the DLC, but played them in the PTB. What fails here is 2 characters in one concept. Looks insanely weird Aestri and Baermar share the same height and skeleton model AND same legs and hair! It's not like Legion at all. Legion has different mask and different body (they only share the weapon), but of course killer cosmetics works differently.
These 2 characters have a unique cosmetic layout, like what they did with Ash. But here it looks kinda off. Also, like other said Aestri look really hot and feminine in the trailer and the trailer gives her more screentime since poor Baermer vanish quickly. :D -
I subscribed long time ago, last year, but maybe get one with news and promo code once! Don't mind the BPs, but some special banner, avatar has more value.

I didn't play all asymmetrical games, got a few of them like Predator: Hunting Grounds, which now came to next-gen consoles and got a second wind! I also play Evolve Stage 2, which was fun, till lasted. :D Evil Dead official game…. looks good and fun, hence got Bruce Campbell! But learn the gameplay as a newb… Tried to play, but vets are just hush, till try to get what stuff you pick-up.
Far as I know Evolve was the first or big asymmetrical MP title. Made by Turtle Rock who brough us CS and L4D! No pressure, huh? The game also built to CryEngine 3. Plus it got a lot off expensive DLCs. I'll think that was enough to the game didn't get enough popular, and maybe the publisher said "OK, that's all, closing shop". Stage 2 free2play was a good died, but I guess it didn't brough back enough players or earned new one.
Predator: Hunting Grounds is a great idea! Sadly even the designs, cosmetics and the vibe is great! Hence they get Schwarzenegger for Dutch in the game as playable character and all notable Predator skins… the game doesn't get enough new content. Only character models which sometimes was broken look or loadout wise - Predator 2 Pred still has. Also, lack of maps and new content like missions for fireteam or hell add other popular characters, they added Isabelle and some sport guy. Maps, they made a night version all fo them and call it a day. Extra plus those maps ran worse, and the game poorly optimized at least for PC.
I guess DBD success it's the constant new contents. New maps, killers, survivors, skins, perks, Rift items… you name it! They added Bill for free, Halloween and lots of popular horror game or movie. Just name ONE game where 4 players up from Resident Evil games, Alan Wake, Alien and Saw to collide someone from Silent Hill on a map which happens Haddonfield.

It's not just you. I saw this day 1 since the update dropped. At close distance both killers and survivors animation is OK. But at certain distance they felt like 2D sprites sliding through the map, more horrible with auras - or funny. It's like after a certain distance the LOD render them low-res or cap the animation to… well, maybe it's even below 30 fps. I hope they fix this.
I say again it's effects everyone! Both sides, you can check it when you on the hook and both party running around. I think it's only visual and doesn't effect the gameplay nor the characters movement or anything else. My bet is some sort of Unreal5 issue which created this weird anomaly.

Right, I assume we can sure Steam gives us a sale. But considering how many times DBD goes sale on Steam almost no a month without sales. :)

It works! I done it March. Make sure you have a BHVR account, connect it to your Epic account. Then after buying on Steam start the game, then merge Steam account and voilà. I get everything. Tome, dailies, currencies.

Yes, they sometimes have sales on skins, though when any particular sale will be there is no way to know until BHVR announces it.
Two things to note however
1. Iridescent Shard costs are not at this time included in sales, so if an outfit is 50% on AC, with shards it will still be full price.2. Licensed characters, which includes Ash, Ripley, and Alan as you have noted there are only available for Auric Cells and will NEVER be available for Iridescent Shards.

OK, yesterday was a sale for DBD on Steam. Bought it and did the necessary things and voila! Everything carried over, I lost nothing. Not even daily rituals or Tome progress or loadouts.
I just post this, if somebody runs to similar issue.

In my country it just raised around January. 500 AC was 1380 HUF, now 1739 HUF. It's Epic prices, I'll think on Steam it was 5 euros, which roughly 2000 HUF in my country, so Epic still has the best price (and MS Store) also it gives back 5%.
I also noticed at least on Epic which the only store (Steam, EA, Ubi, Epic, GOG) has prices at local currency raised all DLCs prices too.

I said another forum "who doesn't have Alan?", but also 5 Rift fragments you get it that amount with playing 5 matches. But what is weird Nea unlocks another Alan Wake lore. :S I mean obviously something went wrong here at multiple ways. I guess Nea here because she get new skins with current Tome.

My favorite maps mostly by atmosphere and visuals, which also means I fun on the map both sides:
Toba Landing - I just love that map! Gorgeous and sick, so many creatures around, debris falling at the cliffs - or at least I can hear it - I like Gabriel former colony and the killed crew around the maps. But mostly many things are moving or react.
Nostromo Wreckage - Since I'm a big fan of Alien I like the maps. Ash on the table, facehuggers at infirmary, Ripley crashed shuttle. I didn't managed get into the secret MOTHER section, but once managed to get the key.
Grave of Glennvale - I love westerns and this map also just looks amazing! The sunset, the western feeling, condors on the corpses.
Haddonfield - I love the first Halloween movie and love the map. Pretty detailed, got an atmosphere and the sky looks amazing. Also every time the map starting I can hear Carpenter cool tunes.
The other maps are OK, mostly I like them all in a way, but that 4 is my personnel favorite. I collected offerings for Gabriel and Hux for Toba. :D

I possibly buy a shirt for Gabriel, I'm not an Iron Maiden fan - though, I surely heard a few songs from the band in my lifetime - but like that song.

First few matches with Alan as Survivor was fun, I the only one left... well crawling and managed to reach a hatch. :D But just like normal game mode teammates are a roulette, you get good players or bad, who die even with good perks and guidance system.
Same for the Killer side. Though "Woo-hoo, I'm gonna slaughter tonight" yeah, in my dreams. XD Good team managed fix all the gens and get zero kills or even hooks as a Xeno, a little more luck I have with the Singularity hence the cameras. Interesting play as the Trapper. Though endgame chat I got I was tunneled. Honestly, I didn't on purposely, just saw someone in the fog and started to chase. But even this circumstances the survivors managed to free a one of them form the basement! And I put traps literal every doors and corners in the basement. XD And, they not triggered and managed to avoid them.
Actually, recently I mostly do challenges for BP and lore, and maybe for challenge. Sometimes I feel after a dozen matches I can get win or a decently fun match at either sides.

So next patch fix it? Actually cool skin, but hard to hide with this color mix. :D Other suits fine, but this and Rift ones are the most distinctive. I also got a brown skin for David, can1t recall it's name but its the first at the bottom.

Then I don't crazy. Yesterday I checked 3 times and nothing. The usually 1600 hrs, when new stuff arrive or at 2000 last X-Mas event started that time. So it will start today at... 2000 hrs or later? (Or when light out)

I would give something similar mode years ago as a Hardcore mode. Since it is. People could still play what they want.

Champion of Light - I'm not a good flashlight user, but it seems OK. Flashlight blinds a bonus with Haste and Hindered to the Killer it's OK.
Boon: Illumination - A really nice perk, when I first used it was a "wow...!" effect. But it should be bigger radius or show other totem in the maps too. And at the Endgame Collapse it should show exit gates and the maybe the hatch?
Deadline - Well, I try to think how this perk can be a bonus. :D Not bad, I use the default perks for Alan + Resilience which gives 9% faster fixing, healing etc.

I have to play solo since I have no friends who paly DBD + I got on Epic. Anyway, playing Survivor often feels a suffering. Most players total newcomers or forgot how to play this game. I'm dying on the hook, we just save each other from the hook and done zero gens and the whole team on deathrow, teammate we clearly see a gen, then runs to another end of the map, I injured teammate got a med pack he runs another end of the the map for some random gen. But if I play as a Killer I usually get a bully team or so pro flashlight, sabotage saves I never experienced before, yesterday a team get insta revive no matter who or how many time I down, they just won't stay down!
So switching between Survivor and Killer make no difference if you want to get a normal or fun match. At least for me. Can't be bad luck after 3-4 hours gameplay in the row and almost the same experience in every match.

I agree. Play since April and doing the active Tomes, but when I done or off time - between Tomes - I doing old ones, for the charm and for the lore and some challenge make you stuff which maybe comes handy. They should make old archive Tome you can progress in all at one level challenges. I mean Tome 1 first level, you can progress in any of it. But I also wonder technically it can be done?
Or maybe simple challenges could be active whole time, like do X gens, heal survivors, cleans totems, etc.

Just my theory, but DBD is a 2016 game which means it came to PS4/Xbox One era consoles. And it's not a heavy Unreal4 title, so my guess even PS4 can't reach the details of the PC axed settings the PS5 should. You can only say that surely if you find footage from PS5 and PC comparison. I would say PC surely looks slightly better.

I so freaking hyped! Dunno why, not even Alien make me this hyped and I only play DBD April. I love Alan Wake, the whole game and since I can't buy or more like have a proper RIG for AW2 at least I can play him in another game. I hope much stuff we will get with the Tome and challenges! And AW1 skin and other stuff. I P9 him and don't play any other characters I guess. :D
I also make crazy ideas. Like a special or Legendary add-on for the flashlight. Energizer batteries 25% more blinding effect. XD I guess every old AW player knows the batteries in the game - not AN and Remastered - were Energizer logo on them. Ever since I played the game I always buy Energizer, sometimes feels urge to get a pack of batteries after I replay Alan Wake.

Recently got weird matches. Playing as Survivor I got stupid team in a row 5 matches! They get slaughtered, no teamplay and if I follow them I mostly get more trouble then dodging the Killer and doing gens. Then I switch to Killer. And what I got? Total pro teams who make my match a nightmare!
It's like no matter which side I play I got better opposition.

I love Alan Wake, I'm gonna buy day one and I don't rest till I get him to P9! I hope the Tome will have some AW1 skins for him. The perks kinda OK for me, except the Deadline which I don't get it how it a helping perk.

I usually picked in Trial Bloodpoint one, the Auric Cell one and some special stuff what I liked. I recently playing through old Tomes and getting charm from their. But for my favorite characters I sue their respective perk charm since I P9 them (p100 sound insane).

Hm, I mostly get Ghostface, Sadako, Wesker, Nemesis, Pig, Chucky. Sometimes Trapper/Naughty Bear, Huntress, Xenomorph, Deathslinger, Bubba. So far I only encountered Skull Merchant twice! Was fresh, but my tam get slaughtered fast. Hux, Skull Merchant, Myers is a rarity. Recently I encounter more Plague, Blight and the Doctor.

I find many random textures pixelated. I wondered something at my side or the graphics really that... dated. I could say old since it's still a 2016 game with lots of updates, but older titles looks better. Don1t know the performance side I use Adaptive-sync and this make it 60 cap on maximum at FullHD. But I remember played the game at free weekend at my old build i5 4460, 8 GB RAM and a GTX 960, had performance issue!
Also, I experimented by turning off AA. Well, it looks... weird and ugly. Just like many games which requires TAA to to certain elements don't looks bad like hair. Since TAA gives you an obvious ghosting effect doesn't we need to change between AA methods? I know TAA off function recently implemented to the game. Just like FSR 1.0.

I really hope classic or Alan Wake 1 skin will be in the game, maybe cam e with the DLC or the new Tome? Maybe because I didn't played and still don't own Alan Wake 2, this "new" Alan a bit weird too me. A Barry skin would be essential, just like a sheriff Breaker.
Damn, I just can't wait for the release! :D

I say Alan Wake Confirmed! Could be many other character, but the post is so heavy on flashlight. Also Alan Wake 2 released not long ago. Plus he will be a perfect character to the DBD world.

Well, DBD has Alien, Halloween and Ash. I also got Bill from Left 4 Dead. I know, but never saw or not familiar with the other classic franchises which already in the game. Still my ideas, hopes are Predator and Dutch, The Thing (with Kurtl Russel voicing MacReady), Dead Space, Alan Wake and Terminator. Maybe Doom, but I wonder the Doom Slayer will be a Killer or Survivor? :D

If you want cheaper characters just buy Auric Cells on Epic and buy the characters there. Seems you managed to get connect your BHVR account so all stuff will show up no Steam too. Also true some DLC are cheaper slightly then AC buying, but I'm not sure it will transfer DLCs to Steam. That's the reason I buying stuff with AC only, all the time. If I ever migrate from Epic don't lose any stuff.

I saw this news in the game. Since I got the game free on Epic - and after just play it a little, stuck on it - I didn't bother getting DLCs, just in-game store stuff. If I ever moving to Steam, I don't lose anything. But actually, at my country pricing on Epic for Auric Cell sor even DLCs got much better than any other store.
Dropping price for certain characters make me happy. I wonder all DLC chapter pack exclusive stuff will be in the store or just ones which get removed? (I possibly need to check the FAQ)

You can escape while you are struggling too! I killer camped with me at basement, my anti facecamp bar filled up and I insta unhook myself.
What I rarely succeeded is simply unhook myself! For the achievement or just simply when bots not coming to help or the team is at the other end of the map. Only Jake and Ace I had successful unhooks.

I just do when I can and matters this specific achievement. Anyway, cleansing/blessing a Hex totem is always a positive thing! I play as Mikeala with her 3 default perk + Small Game. I repair gens, bless totems area which the team are so I sorta support class with this loadout. You can saw the curse icon beginning in the match or when repairing gens. Still, like others said don't rush and dedicate yourself for this single achievement.
With my method I'm on 3 or 4. Still fun to play and try to get the best of the perks. I just bought the character.

Yeah, definitely needs a volume for that one. I play with headphones, sue a very low volume, since DBD feels louder then average titles. But the scream is way louder then anything else. :D But I noticed playing as Jake with his 3 unique perks make him almost silent that moment, used that specific perks on others doesn't help.

Weird, I have it PC-Epic and I can skip intro and other stuff just one LMB click. 3 clicks and I'm in the main menu.
What annoys me the new intro looks cool, but feels like... too short or it misses some content.
