They want you to play the rift and give them money, instead of having fun during an event. That's why they don't do good events anymore.

They didn't need to repair this "event" / listen to the community in the first place if they didn't release a sh*t event to begin with.
Who in their right mind was content with how it is now, when an event like halloween is a big thing in a HORROR game. It's a great chance to shine as a HORROR game during this period of the year. The person who made that decision should be fired, imo.

For me, they already ruined this so called "event", so I really don't care about the double bp anymore.
I play a bit, but they completely killed any hype for events.

My ps4 took so long to load the game, and the ps4 made so much noise, it was unbelievable.

I think you get this bug when you got cells last rift. On ps4 I bought 1k cells last rift, on pc I didn't.
On ps4 I got the cells and on pc I didn't get any. So maybe that is the explanation why some people got them and some didn't :)

It runs a lot better, I agree. But still I have the issue that I'm being robbed of hits because just when I attack, bloodlust kicks in. Happened me a few times already...
But I agree the overall experience is that the game runs smoother.

FingerGuns, TricksterShadow and Jordirex all played very well and showed high standards as well. Are you excluding them because they didn't play by your rulebook? I would like to see how you would perform against a tournament team and not using proxy camp/tunnel as a strategy. You should go watch the video where Otz goes against the Legacy team as Freddy and he tunnels the crap out of the Object.
Special mention that Ayrun BMd in a tournament to a team that had a game crash/unintentional DC. That was very childish but I didn't expect anything else from him since he is one of the most toxic members of this community.
I agree the hatch BM was really childish and unnecessary. He already beat them by a lot that they couldn't come back from it, why do that then...
I hope he gets his karma next time in the tournament.

Don't know if this is a troll post or not, but this smells completely as a bullseye for toxicity tbh. I think a lot of people will go out of their way to deny the other person anything, because of fear of missing out.

No, it's not just you. They nerfed the progress with the challenges from last rift to this rift for like 6 complete rift tiers.
For me this is the last rift i'm EVER going to try to complete. I will complete this one because I got really far because of the Skilled Huntress trophy grind.

Got headaches today of playing Hag on Lery's on ps4... Couldn't even play with my friends as survivor after because of that.
But the problems are the bumps, not the QoL of consoles.
I have that with facing doctor. The framerates just go down the drain when i get hit with its shock or when i scream because of it. I just suicide on first hook.
I also have extreme lagspikes when i'm getting hit with sloppy butcher or when beast of prey kicks in. And still nothing is done about that.
Tbh (and this is MY opinion, free speech), this game shouldn't had come to console. On PC it works good and I support(ed) this game on PC for over 4 years. Also play this game a lot on PS4 since it's release (I play more console now since friends play there). But i still think this game shouldn't get on console.
EDIT: I hold my breath for the new DLC with blight. I think, from what I saw from streamers, the framerate is gonna be bad for that killer too. Maybe I'm wrong, but for now i'm just concerned.

Well... I play on PS4 (and on PC, but on PS4 for the trophies now) and the moment crossplay got enabled and I got back from dinner right after that, I got nothing more than lagspikes in my games. Didn't matter if I played killer or survivor.
So yeah, I disabled the crossplay.

Just a small question, how do I know what 24+ meters is? I now just think I got it right, since you don't get a scoring event for a long shot.
Btw, i think I'm on 36 downs by now. I write all the downs on paper when I think it is 24+ meters.

I also think being a low rank killer (around 15) helps a bit tbh. Now especially since they removed MMR for the time being.
Also don't tunnel and if you can, don't mori right away when you down someone after their first hook. Make them think you only have a ivory mori and you save it. That way you can buy more time getting all survivors on the hook at least once. I see a lot of killers going right for the unhooked guy when they have an ebony and that is a huge mistake on their part.
When you get to 1 or 2 gens left, and you hooked everyone once, then it's time to go for the kill and the pressure gets really on them and they make mistakes.
If a DC happens, there is really nothing you can do about that then just move on. Happened to me some times as well, but eventually i got it the way I described.

Maybe I should hook camp as well then. Don't like to do it, but maybe it works.
Also gonna try and get some farm games happen, maybe I can get 1 or 2. Thanks for the Devour Hope tip!
It's too bad they didnt get a notification like the Deathslinger gets when he shoots someone from far away. Now it's just a gamble all the time.

Maybe you can take a break after this rift and let the next rift pass. The cosmetics will hit the store eventually in the future.

P.S. I'm glad that they buffed Bubba and reworked the overheat mechanic after the PTB for Billy. And Tinkerer rework is great IMO
The bloodpoints taken away are the anniversary event bloodpoints. Those were, if I'm correct, an extra pool of BP outside of the 1 mil cap.
I know that for a fact, because I had 2k points on my PS4 char and received the 444.444 points in the last week of the event. So I had 446k. Didn't play when I got them, logged back in today and I am back to 2k.
So that might be an easy fix for them. Or just give all the points that were given back again in one go, so the x times 50k and the 444.444 points. I just don't want to log in on my PC account now, because I don't want my 1.444.444 BP gone :/ Hope they fix it soon and you also keep them this time.

Can't they do something with your unique player ID if you want to switch from console to PC? I mean, maybe not the other way around but all your account details are shared on their backend. So maybe you don't have to level everything up if you want to start on pc coming from console.

I'm gonna save them up for double BP events now. That's when people are more likely to use party streamers too I've seen in the past.

Used a lot during the event when they got fixed. Also have some here and there on other survivors, but don't play them. I main Kate.

I see what you did "wrong": you moried the bottom 2 persons instead of sacrificing. If you did that, you would have had the adept.
But I still agree, they need to revert it back to 4k.

Tbh, the killer can just play the game how he wants it. So killing you instead of leaving you with the crown is his choice and you have to deal with it.
I do agree its stupid though, I also let survivors leave when someone DC's early game. Late game depends how the others played.

Only thing I would like is that they increase the event a bit for the lost time we got on the cakes tbh. Now everyone burns cakes and after the event not so much anymore.
But we'll see what they do. I think they are also upset by this tbh, since they tested it before they released the event.

No. I fully support the LGBT community, but keep sexual preferences out of the game. It's fine IRL, but let's just keep the game outside of this. Someone will always be offended by something.

Indeed. I don't get why killers aren't just farming with survivors. They have nothing to lose. In fact, they'll get more BP out of it that way.
When the cakes also work for me, thats when I will start farming with the survivors when I'm the killer. Not when they don't work for me either. Then I just see it like an escape cake which is a roll of the dice for the survivor who burned it if they get much points out of it.
I got a report from someone because he only got 7k points because I didnt want to farm for his cake. LUL.

I saw 3 survivors with glowing things, so I know for a fact there is at least 3.

100% the same. I feel so burned out on DbD because of the 3 rifts I played in the last year. I really hate the grind for it.
Maybe I'll just play occasionaly, but since I don't give a crap about most of the stuff in the rift (the recolored charms) and since you can later buy the skins anyway, I'm taking a break.

I do the same. I ignore the ttv the whole game. It's so funny when they run behind you all the time, seeking attention that they don't get. Like, you hear their breathing and footsteps behind you where you go xD
Sad though really, just play the game normally and maybe I'll come and say hi and gg in your stream. Not if you walk around like a bee looking for honey on my butt and do nothing to help your team.
