Sony is stricter and has more rules. Rules developers are aware of. Also, if something fails Microsoft, infamous for letting out super buggy patches, what fresh hell was it that failed certification for them?

They probably forgot to add in the new killer.

It has been days since the curtain call certification for PS4 has been sent out to Sony and has yet to be accepted. Yes, it is acceptable for us all to be mad whether you want new promised content or your pockets are filled with shards we all have our fair share words to say at the devs but it isn't their fault. We want to put the blame on them but it isn't their fault. The devs has sent their certification to sony for the patch and have yet to get an answer not because the update will break PSN but because sony has yet to answer back. Whether the update gets accepted is completely out of BHVR's hands. Sure updates don't take this long for other games because most other games that have gigabytes worth of updates are triple A titles and they of course don't take as long to be accepted because well they are big companys. And why would sony care about a small indie title that takes up more space on servers due to the 4+ gigabyte 2.0.0 patch. So in conclusion it isn't BHVR's fault you aren't going to get compensated for the time you have had with filled shards (you aren't the only ones who want to use the shrine.) So stop blaming BHVR as this situation is completelyout of their control I mean come on this is sony we are talking about...They blocked cross-platform play for Fortnite the bastards.

It obviously failed certification at this point.

Even the xbox version failed cert but BHVR got the changes fixed in a couple days.

Thats the thing is they fixed the bugs for Xbox you would think that they would have already fixed the bugs for PS4 also and if thats true then yes it is completely on Sony whether or not they accept the certification.

Sony’s limit is 10 days, it’s failed cert, most likely TWICE. All because they refused doesn’t mean it’s their fault. Say someone wants a product. You produce a highly defective product, and they refuse it. It’s not really their fault. Yeah it was a chance a the product, but again, it was flawed, broken, and not what it was supposed to be.

I guess its just hard to believe you can fail something like this twice. :|

Only reason patch could take this long is if it got rejected due to terrible bugs or performance, probably twice at this rate. And BHVR is much bigger than you appear to think.

I do understand that but at this point its as if people believe that moaning about wait times is going to make it come faster( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). And it looks like its tearing this community apart which is kinda funny to watch unfold as people complain on who is privileged and thinks that just because they play on a certain machine that they are better or more deserving of something. The clown bamboozled us all....

I just think it’s at least partially their fault. This happened during lullaby chapter, with patches being rejected due to FPS being tanked. If they are literally unable to produce one good not buggy patch, revise the freakin code already. It’s already known they use code that’s almost as simple as spaghetti code. That’s why bugs happen in unrelated stupid spots.

No properly coded game should have left behind trigger alwaysveven with all people alive, from altering a sound glitch. How the hell do you manage that

Well to be honest if the Xbox certification failed due to bugs then you think they would have also went back into the PS4 update to rework any of the same bugs and glitches found.

How is it out of BHVRs hands whether the patch gets certified or not? They have Sony's certification guidelines, they know what they have to do to get certified. It's not like Sony keeps things a secret and springs surprise rejections on companies. This is entirely in BHVRs lap.

Yes but I was making made the paragraph under the impression that after how long the certificate was out for that the bugs and glitches would have clearly been fixed by now given for how long it has already been out. And if it is clear of bugs it is out of their hands past that point.

I mean F13 had no problem getting through a whole new engine upgrade on PS4 and certfication was done in under 2 weeks. (6GB)

Keep in mind that this patch changes some mechanics a bit and adds in currency packs don't quote me on this but adding microtransactions might make the process a bit longer.

I'd agree if it was a BHVR problem but it isnt the problem is that PS4 is taking their sweet time with BHVR's certificate to allow the new update.

Well it's definitely not Sonys fault the patch failed certification. BHVR probably woulda crashed all of psn if not monitored :)

I don't think the certificate crashed but its still ongoing of course PS4 has allot of games that need other updates etc so it might be backed up. But when it does come up for you guys I hope the wait will be worth it. <3

  • Prestige one of the killers my guy <3

  • This seems like a cool killer with what seems to be a pretty amazing looking map. The Mori seems brutal and thats just fantastic. You did a good job with this one m8. ;)

  • I kinda like when survivors are toxic it just makes hooking them feel like a nice nut.

  • Or with maximum SWOLE-NESS the roles get changed and the killer has to escape from you.

I think somebody already reached Level 100 and got devotion 1. And From what I know, nothing happens except you gain 1 Devotion. It really seems only to be a 100 counter. Probably they might add some Achievement to Devotion, but who knows.

well damn was hoping for something a bit more amazing. Thanks for the help.

  • The games mechanics allow survivors to be toxic and lets be honest even as a killer main myself using a flashlight when i play survivor can be fun and rewards you allot of blood points. Its just that getting you'r friends together in a SWF and having a couple of flashlights is fun because everyone deep down is a bit sadistic. When it comes to the post game chat toxicity its because people like to win even if they are the reason why they lost and they know that. But putting the blame on someone else such as the killer as an act of venting of you'r pain of losing is easy.

  • I just want to use my 4000+ shards man :'(

  • I've been blind all this time....

  • It would be amazing if when a chase is initiated the sound of being seen from metal gear played.

  • Now if you want toxic you need to trap a couple of survivors in the basement as Doctor and stand on the stair case and keep shocking those little bastards.

  • And what happens to billy's chainsaw when he picks up a survivor?

  • Well you can actually see one of the hags nipples soooooo......

  • I believe its possible for an alien to be in DBD because the entity can go through different galaxies and time periods i believe.

  • thought it's not friendly it would be amazing to play as the Entity.

  • If this isn't added the game is lost...

  • Missed skill checks should regress it further giving Unnerving Presence a reason for actually existing and could be a good combo with Distressing giving both perks a good place to be used.

  • Because the mechanics allow people to troll you but still be safe due to pallets, windows, DS, and Flashlights. Survivors also believe that they are supposed to win every game.

  • I do agree that you shouldn't be rewarded if you mess up but that wasn't the original intention the devs had for implementing bloodlust. It was a flawed excuse of a way to "counter" looping so the devs didn't have to completely remake pallet spots and window spots. I do believe that there could of been something better to use instead of bloodlust if they used a bit more of their time to think of something different. But pallets and windows are a sort of controversial topic as survivors basically do need them in order to survive but its an easily abused mechanic. Come to think of it cant really remember the last time bloodlust helped me because It would always activate whenever the person I was chasing was already at a different pallet. So yes I do believe its flawed and should be changed with something actually helpful its just at the current moment I don't believe the devs really care for it which is a shame.

Bloodlust is the only way to stop many vaulting spot abuses.
It needs to stay as long as the map design is at it is, as it is a decent bandaid fix to infinites.

Now you have Bamboozle and the clown. Then there's outplaying someone.

I mean, I've already stated that some tiles are insane, but, don't go on those tiles to chase someone. Wait until you have baited them away or until they are last survivor and THEN bloodlust them if you have to.

Bloodlust rewards bad killers. It needs to go with the exceptions I have mentioned (Hag and Myers EW1).

You can't say that a good reason for the devs to get rid of bloodlust is because of the clown and his perks when the shrine isn't back up yet and god knows how long it will take before the console players get their DLC for the shrine to come back up for us all. The clown is also a DLC character and some people don't wont to spend money on a game they already bought or grind for hours to get him just to get one perk when there are other better ones for different situations. As a killer main you should know how under powered killers are compared to survivors (which will hopefully be fixed with the upcoming perk nerfs) and whats just having an extra speed boost to help you to actually win?

  • Well nurse is easily both extremely powerful and extremely weak depending on who actually plays her. Its because of this "human factor" that can make nerfing nurse a hard task.If you were to nerf nurse and maker her hard to play no new players will play her and if you nerf her so badly as to make her extremely hard you might have the nurse pros completely leave the game due to their main being run into the ground.
