Currently it's Freddy, but I also play Myers and Wraith from time to time too. Oh, and Piggy.

They made a change where her humming is no longer directional. I'm not too sure about the volume being lowered, but it was made so the survivors are unaware of where she's coming from.

I think it all depends on the play style. I prefer balanced landing simply because I like the passive that comes with it. Dead Hard has killed me more than none, but it's great for gaining distance. Lithe used to be my favorite, but it got dropped for BL. Sprint Burst just isn't my thing.

I learned the hard way through spamming it incredibly fast that all it does it kill you. I agree with what everyone else has been saying. Hit it as a reasonable speed and consistently.

I think it's even better when it's the opposite way around. The OTHER survivor has We'll Make It, but they run away instead of using it.

Ever since they chanced firecrackers and party starters, I haven't been able to get a single save with them. I got one today and honestly, it was pretty satisfying.

I'm not entirely familiar with console, but isn't there a way to disable messages from random people? I truly don't know, but if there is maybe check into that. I know that can be a bit frustrating.

If only one survivor is running DS, the likelihood of that survivor being the obsession is slim. They implemented this mechanic so that if a killer decides to tunnel, they can't slug in the off chance of bypassing their perk. Now that isn't always the case, sometimes you will be the obsession with the perk.
I run it all the time, but I'm rarely the obsession. You become the obsession after successfully hitting the skillcheck though.

I agree and disagree with this. Survivors can easily go into a match with less than decent perks and win, but that depends on the killer they're playing against. I don't mean the killer itself, but rather the player. I think a lot of people fail to realize that sure, obviously some killers are stronger than others, but I've seen great teams get rolled by Freddy with meta perks.
I think this is a type of game that really depends on who is playing, not really the killer or the perks.

You're new to the game and it's easy for anyone to get discouraged at first. Right now things may seem completely absurd and yes, it may seem a bit unfair to get paired with rank 6 survivors when you're a rank 20, but it's not always going to be that way.
It may not seem like it, but when you're playing against people who are at a higher skill level, that's going to improve your play in the long run. That may not sound fun, but I promise you that's the case. If things get too frustrating, take a break, switch the killer, and just give it time. I promise you this game is loads of fun once you get into the swing of everything. The community isn't as bad as you think it is. The bad just always overshadows the good, but trust me there's a whole lot of good in it.

That's so cool! I love Pokemon, but we probably shouldn't be having this conversation here. I'm more than willing to have it though. I absolutely adore it, but I would prefer if we didn't change the topic of this! :D

My boyfriend and I do this thing where if one of us crouches, the other has to turn (with their butt facing mine) and stay like that until the other moves. Not sure where it came from, but we jokingly call it out 'mating call'

I've personally always wanted a little story mode sort of thing with this game. I'm assuming The Archives are the closest thing we're going to get, but it would be really cool if it was sort of a side game that lets you play the original characters and help them escape the realm. Perhaps if given the option, they could even choose to stay.

I think it would be wonderful to have the option! Imagine if the killer got to choose meaning every lobby you loaded into, the killer could have a different theme set. I know that would probably take a bit of time and effort to accomplish, but I would love that.

One of the reasons that they have it affect his night shroud is because unlike Myers who isn't affected by it, he's still 4.6. They change it, people might request for Pig or Wraith to be changed since it's the same concept.
That being said, I do completely agree. It's such a massive counter to him. One of the people who use OoO on the regular has won chases because he's able to see him through a short wall and has forced him to break stealth. He and I have said since day one that it shouldn't work against him in stealth.

I agree and disagree with this. While the original was completely broken, I do see what you're saying about the newer version of it. Problem is, it's a risk/reward perk. At the risk of taking those extra hits, you're going to rewarded if you can last.

I'd say Pig for sure. She has some fun mindgames with her crouch and ambush. Clown is kind of boring in my opinion, but he has some really nice teachables.

@GhostlyFoxx That sounds incredibly unlucky😨, I guess it is lucky to have avoided them so long it's only this thread that made me realise it's been a while. I bet some killers will read this and think challenge accepted though 😂 I'll probably have some additions for this thread soon haha
I have a lot of hours in the game, so that might contribute to it unfortunately. That and when I do play survivor, I rarely play solo. Killers just hate me. :(

I've always wanted to be able to gift auric cells. It would make things a lot easier. Instead we have to gift steam giftcards which I find more of a hassle.

To answer your question though, I would assume yes. The splinters were put in for all licensed killers that you may not own. That being said, I am not certain. If you already own the DLC the likelihood of you finding a splinter is slim to none as well. I heard the Developers stopped making the splinters, but that being said they also stopped the licensed killers and since there's another one, there's a new possibility. ^^

I always love killers that have a smaller or non existent terror radius. It brings back the fear aspect of the game which I think needs to happen more often. It's why one of my favorite killers to go up against is Myers.

I've always wanted a first person mode of this game. It would bring a whole new ounce of fear to the game especially against Myers.
