I thought it was dependent on what direction you're facing when the Hallucination spawns
If the Hallucination points north, you will face north after teleport
Since Hallucinations can turn around to face the survivor, that'd be a bit weird and disorienting. Dredge works like that, though, so maybe that's where you're confused?
As I said, when teleporting as Unknown, you'll be facing the same direction you were when you hit the button upon arrival. It may help to think of it as an immensely fast sprint in a straight line towards the hallucination.
-
Huh? I don't understand the question.
You're facing the same direction you were when you teleported. If you looked north when teleporting, you'll also be facing north on arrival, regardless of the hallucination's orientation.
-
My issue with it is how free it is, combined with how long it lasts.
also I don’t understand what the idea behind the locker search is. It seems arbitrary.

Godspeed.

Lacks bird.
Meh.

Brutal Strength.
Wraith also has add-ons that allow him to destroy pallets in under a second.

I'm wondering if the perk can get away with removing the broken status effect. The 2 minutes' commitment is pretty hefty as-is, especially when the payoff gets less and less as more gens are finished.
Like, the time investment has to be more than 70 seconds because of the charge reduction being permanent (barring blocked gens which is...), but 120 seconds, _on top_ of the broken status effect is just too much.
-
i think it works in spots that are a bit ambiguous as to whether they're vaults or not, but they're really not necessary in your classic maze tiles.

Basic human empathy would lead you to be more compassionate in this situation.
They just had a terrible event happen to them and are looking for a form of escapism, there's no need for judgement, let them enjoy what they want to enjoy.
^ What was said above, the casual attitude made the whole story seem made-up.
But you're right, that was rude of me. For which I apologise.

I- uh...
My DbD save would certainly not be my first thought if my house burnt down.
But, according to other commenters, the account is fine. I guess.

I don't think BHVR really did anything wrong here. Nothing about Unknown is supposed to represent transgender people (or non-binary as the voice actor mentioned). They most likely just hired her because she can perform a male and female voice and is trained in doing so and didn't even consider what people would do.
If anyone associates a genderless creature wearing both masculine and feminine clothes together with someone being trans or non-binary, then that's on them not BHVR. It is disgusting that people are actually acting that way and anyone who is should be banned no questions asked.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3675468#Comment_3675468
I don't think they'll just remove them. They might make them linked though...
I was moreso referring to the lack of communication between the VA and BHVR. They took the job not knowing what the character was, and wouldn’t have if they did.
Don’t get me wrong, they did a fantastic job, but I also can’t help but feel like the VA got slighty shafted (not that, the word escapes me atm).
Personally, I’d hate for the cosmetics to disappear ala Leatherface. I’d give it a week or two until we really start asking for measures, though. It may just be a bizarre “hype”.
-
I’m not completely sure when it was introduced, but yes you can get AFK kicked, which will net you a dc penalty.
-
Suspecting that was always the plan to begin with.
It was far too obvious of an easter egg for it to not be a thing.
That said, I haven’t actually seen it myself. What’s it playing?

A series of now-deleted tweets (@zoeyalexandria9, https://twitter.com/Zoeyalexandria9?t=-YlvNOXjL98Xm4nSgC0MPg&s=09) that I do not possess Screenshots of, so I'm afraid you're going to have to trust me.
But I do have proof that she didn't know what the model would be
https://fxtwitter.com/Zoeyalexandria9/status/1768085488508751958?t=5TJg-TZcqyoCBIBKKMmuAg&s=19
And she would've let another take the role had she known exactly what the role would've entailed to stop herself from feeling so dysphoric.
The comments about her mental health suffering because of it, and the transphobic backlash, I do not have evidence for anymore.
That’s…
Man that sucks.
That’s also kind of a fumble on BHVR’s part, ngl.

You read it right. The more survivors join the faster it goes, even if they don't have the perk equipped.
I misread what GeneralV was saying. He was talking about 3 survivors joining in on the invocation in general. Whether they had the perk or not doesn't really matter, they all sat in the basement while he was slugged.

Funnily enough I've yet to see Territorial Imperative. And I expected to see a teammate waste their time with the Invocation, but all three?
Thats a little overkill.
Misread, ignore me.
Only 1 survivor has to run it to start the Invocation, and the rest can join in without it. -
Could be bugged.

I don't think so. This sounds more like Freddy malfunctioning again. There other examples of this as well. For some reason the dreamworld just gets pitch black in some spots.
Or, in the case of Eyrie of Crows, brighter than the sun itself.

Repressed alliance
this is literally an extra perk slot of deadlock for killer
it’s like having 2 deadlocks
Repressed Alliance is very good at denying the killer from using Pop. If you’re working on a gen solo, it’s almost done, and the killer’s coming for you, there’s 0 reason not to use it, as it locks in the progress for the duration. Granted, if you’re a solo queuer, chances are nobody will capitalise on your play, but the potential is there.
Thalita’s perks across the board are really underwhelming, to the point that I can’t even remember what 2 of them even do.

Unknown seemed to have a pretty strong one.
-
I think it's there for a reason. But she could benefit greatly from it playing once the ambush has actually started, and not during the wind-up.
-
Someone had the suggestion of only letting the printers rebuild the EMP once the associated EMP's been used. That way, there's not at least 5 EMP's in the game at any given point.
-
I think i have two issues with Father Campbell's:
The chapel itself can have some pretty nasty windows that feel a bit too strong for where they are.
Shack is located right next to a maze tile, which can result in there being two chained windows right next to each other.
Beyond that, it's pretty alright I think.

Amateur Ornithologist (Survivor)
Many considered observing the crows in the park a waste of time. It turned out to be a investment that may greatly extend your life expectency.
Interact with a Crow to Pet and Befriend the Crow. Befriended Crows will no longer be startled by you.
Gain a Loud Noise Notification whenever the killer disturbs a Befriended Crow within 36 meters of you.
Befriended Crows can be Pet again, but doing so will not grant any additional effects.
"Crows remember faces, and hold grudges. Don't wrong the birds--they'll remember."
Crow Market (Survivor)
You’ve learned what the Crows in this place like.
Dropping an item near a Crow will make the Crow to take the item, and fly off with it. After 120 seconds, the Crow returns. Coming within 16 meters of said Crow will make it fly over to you, after which it will drop a different item next to you. The Item will always be of a different category than the one you have given to the Crow
Crow Market can only be activated once per Crow. Crows will not accept items that you received from a Crow.
"Corvids aren't actually attracted to shiny objects, but that doesn't mean they don't know what commerce is.”
Bone to Peck (Survivor)
You have learned to turn the fog’s Totems into enrichment puzzles for the local avifauna.
Interact with a Crow to make it perch on you. Up to three Crows can perch on you at once. If you take damage with Crows perched on you, the Crows will fly away.
When you have a Crow perched on you, you can do a special interaction with a Totem.
The Crow will fly down and land next to the Totem, and begin taking it apart. After 30 seconds, the Totem will be Cleansed. Once the Totem has been Cleansed, the Crow will return to its original position.
The Crow will remain befriended, but will not perch on you again.
”All it takes is some food and a bit of patience, and you can get crows to do practically anything.”
Sentinel (Killer)
While the others feed, one crow takes it upon itself to watch out for danger, or better yet, more food.
At the start of the Trial, a random Crow is selected to be the Sentinel.
Whenever a survivor comes within 16 meters of the Sentinel, it calls out, producing a loud noise for the killer to see.
After a minute, another random Crow is selected as the Sentinel, and the previous one returns to its normal behaviour.
Call the Flock (Killer)
Whenever you hook a unique Survivor, gain a token. For every token, you can hold down the Action key to place a Crow at your position. The Crow acts like any other Crow in the Trial, and will remain there for the rest of the Trial.
Scourge Hook: Carrion (Killer)
A prey’s imminent death always attracts scavengers, no matter where you go.
Survivors unhooked from a Scourge Hook are afflicted with the following:
Idle Crows accumulate thrice as fast, and take twice as long to dissipate.
Survivors that have accumulated Idle Crows suffer from Blindness, Obliviousness, and a 3% Hindered penalty.
“Oh, don’t you worry. The Crows will find out where you are.”

idk the marketing for this one felt really weird and cheap. Doesn't resemble the character we got in-game at all.

Yeah yeah yeah. Its doesnt work also as bots, "hex" for survivors, endgame collapse, killers with cams, etc - looks like nothing is working in DBD until it appears and you go like "wOaH tHaTs A hOt StUfF!!!"
Ive already responded to you, with you quoting this exact post.

I mean, a broken bottle makes sense for a Saloon map.

Legacy cosmetics were granted in patch 1.3.0.

Cypress is a tree. So I'd imagine a Cypress Memento Mori is a wooden skull. Brown-ish
Ivory is, well, ivory-coloured. This one would most closely resemble a clean human skull.
Ebony is also a wood type, but much much darker, almost black.
-
Can't say I've ever been in a situation where there was a bot left at the end-game and there was an opportunity for me to save them. They're usually dead by then, or are the ones making the save.

Same things said about shooting killers before Huntress release, teleports before Hag, being in two places before Twins and bots before Nemesis. But here they are
That’s kind of a different argument, though, isn’t it? The issue with mimicry is that it’s too weak, if not straight unplayable against communicating survivors. The other mechanics you mention were talked about for different reasons.
The “shooting killer” thing was deemed unlikely because a straight gun was thought out of place, and would just be busted if it worked like an actual gun. Huntress doesn’t shoot. She throws hatchets. With gravity.
Weird how you didn’t mention slinger here, though. Hell, even Slinger doesn’t fire bullets, he fires a harpoon.
I wouldn’t know about the teleportation thing, but I imagine that was more of an argument based on teleportation on demand being very strong without some kind of requirement.
Twins aren’t in two places at once. Only one is controlled at a time, and Victor can be “crushed”. Again, weird that you don’t mention Knight here, who is a far better example, but even then it’s an AI-controlled unit.
As for the AI units, I’ll give you that one. But that was a presumed technical limitation, opposed to it being too weak/strong.
-
Mimics don't work in DbD. Simple as.
-
I also like the swamps.
Pale Rose more than Grim Pantry, though.

I was kinda joking, but would that guarantee 2 kills? This is essentially the map performing the old "AFK Pig" strat, where the Pig would bodyblock a Jigsaw box to ensure a kill. Then the devs added another Jigsaw box to remove that strategy. So, wouldn't this just create a risk for one person? Or has the Jigsaw box logic changed in a way I don't remember?
The image doesn’t shown it, but it’s entirely possible more than one box is blocked.
Which would guarantee at least 1 headpop.

The point is to flag the actual account. Usernames in screenshots are not unique, and you could have many ppl having the same name.
I thought I remembered Peanits saying it flagged the match opposed to the player account, but I suppose what you're saying makes more sense.
