Iron Will was the 1st perk I ever used in Dbd and was my all time favorite. I'm happy to see it! The IW plus red everywhere is honestly making tracking super difficult right now.
And as we all know, making killers have difficulty tracking is the only surefire way to combat tunneling. So on the Survivor end it's not bad.
The killer lunge is kinda neat tbh, once you realize the downside but it's not worth the R E D
I've found that the downside of missing the extendo-lunge can be negated entirely by hitting a wall.

The aggressive survivor with DS Crouching in a doorway to force the killer to hit them, either giving the other survivor free distance if the killer commits to that survivor or stunning the killer with DS if the killer switches to them...
Yeah... "nothing of note."
free distance, or a free slug?
one survivor literally went down for it. that's not "free" distance. hell, it's free pressure.
one's still being chased, one's on the floor, and another has to go pick the other up.

That's more an "easter egg" feature because in the films the turrets and rifles have the "beep" intermitent sound which becomes more noisy when xenomophs are close than a feature suggesting you to put the turrets next to a generator, which is not optimal at all.
Easter egg or not, players that don't care for optimisation see a radar that works even if Xeno's in the tunnels and think "Oh I should use that as an early warning."
Not putting it at gens currently being worked on is counterintuitive.
-
Now it is I, who has been careless.
Bonus bird fact!
The UK sandeel-fishing ban went into effect today, meaning that puffins have one less existential threat to worry about!

It’s in the Withered Isle Realm. The same as Garden of Joy. The map booster only lasts for the first week or so, and we’re on 2 weeks now.
-
I think it was stated somewhere that they only have a license for the very first film. Our options are very, very limited, and extremely unlikely.
For that matter, it’s something of a miracle we even got Michael Myers as early as we did.

No! Buckle up isn't a problem its a fine perk that can come in clutch. Same with FTP, completely fine perk that is really good, however if you combine both its very problematic. There needs to be a way to change both without gutting any of them.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3685197#Comment_3685197
FTP doesn't proc MFT because FTP doesn't count as healing, rather a health state switch. so MFT doesn't really undo anything98
If that's the case, then I'm a bit confused as to why the interaction does work with Buckle Up, but not with MfT.

Ah, I now see your post.
I love sharing good news such as bloodpoints codes but particularly Nintendo Switch news as I feel like we are a minority, both as dbd players and forum members.
Our hardware is *slightly* behind everyone else 😆 literally just a tad bit!
I really wish the Exit Gates lit up red and flashed as they do on modern consoles and PC... instead we get a solid orange (yellowish) set of lights on our Exit Gates that don't flash 😞
Anyway, on behalf of myself and others, thank YOU for posting! I love that we both enjoy bringing codes to the community, especially people who do not follow DBD Twitter.
I do hope I didn't come across as entitled. I can only thank you for picking it up as well, making sure that the stuff I missed is covered as well.
Guess we'll both just need to keep an eye out for each other's threads, eh?
-
I'm betting on an original chapter, tbh. The tomes keep going on about this "Mad Designer" character, who seems associated with the masquerade event.

Just make it so Buckle Up doesn't give the user any Endurance, only the person they picked up. Problem solved.
So then they run Made for This instead.
Granted, in order to cover all bases you'd need to run 3 perks, but it still forces the killer to gamble. Either survivor could have Endurance, without there being any real tell. Hell, both could have it. Or even neither of them, and the killer would have no way of knowing without waiting out the 10 seconds.
-
we have a rivalry in the announcement thread niche, i see.

Do you happen to know what is going on in this picture?
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/KJANIZSVCT5V/20240326-090722.jpg
As soon as the game started, the Killer interacted with the red blood on the left of the screen and then I instantly started having blood come off my body, up towards the ceiling for the whole match...
Why is there blood coming off of me?
I'm not injured and was hiding when the Killer touched it.
The blood coming off of you means you're in a Blood Zone. you can read all about it in the event tab.
-
Regarding slugging, the issue is with extended slugging, ie., going for the bleed-outs. Unbreakable only works once, and Exponential is far too unreliable to be a proper counter to it.
As for tunnelling, OtR only works if the killer doesn't see the unhook. And if they're a mobility killer, eating an Endurance hit does virtually nothing.
Aggressive DS's are a non-issue, I think. Since getting it to work requires not doing anything of note.
Terminus only half-counters Adrenaline. They're denied the heal, sure, but they still get massive distance.
-
Strictly speaking, it's Greenville, not Garden of Joy.
and they're neutral toilets, i think.
-
Your best shot is in the early game. What you can also try is take an already deposited orb, take a hit, and then get a stun.
Remember that you must have space for it yourself for it to count.
-
Way back when, after a game against a Billy, the Billy was fuming I wasn’t going for a trade unhook so I could get hatch. I didn’t even get it before the Billy found me, and still he was incandescent.
Even the other survivor was like “dude calm down”
The billy followed me too, joining my party after, refusing to ready up.

The people placing the turrets in bad places, next to a generator instead of placing them in loops, or even not using turrets at all.
To be fair, the fact that the turrets have a radar suggests they should be used at gens to warn that Xeno’s coming.

I actually just got back into PC gaming and started playing DBD again. Since it's been a while, I decided to check the DLC only to notice older chapters are now in bundles which is great for new players but when I checked the Macabre Tales pack, I saw it contains Descend Beyond, A Binding of Kin, All-Kill and Hour of the Witch for $20. I already have have Descend Beyond and A Binding of Kin meaning to get All-Kill and Hour of the Witch along with the DLC exclusive items from that pack, wouldn't that mean I would have to shell out $20 still?
You can always opt to buy the characters for auric cells in the in-game store.
-
Am I missing something, or does it still say Singularity in March/April.
That’s going to be the mid-chapter launching in April, no?
-
Conga lines, general shenanigans, and absolute curbstomps.
I also accept toblerone.
-
He needs QoL. That's all.
-
To me, the most important thing is to have them a bit spread out across the map, so that you can reduce your travel time as much as possible. Remember that dispelling hallucinations doesn't take very long at all, so leaving them right next to gens isn't going to work if the survivors are paying attention (which they might not).
Some people have mastered placement within loops such as shack, which are unlikely to get taken out by a passing survivor if there's no gen in there.
-
Could go either way at this point. Year 8 went 2-for-2 on licensed chapters, with two bonus licenses in the mid-chapters.
It’s hard to say, really. It would be very impressive if they landed another license, but it’s by no means outside the realm of possibility.

First off - Fellow Rainbow Birb fan club member unite!
Secondly, all the virtual positive energy to you. I know something very personal like that is not always the easiest thing to share, and we appreciate you so much, and are so proud of you.
Your story actually resonates a lot with me, believe it or not! 20+ years ago I was in a similar situation with my college-level schooling. Underlying issues with myself (physical & mental things; one horribly misdiagnosed years prior, and some that would be brushed off as "nothing" for years to come) that made classes a struggle no matter how much drive I had and put into them, along with pressure I put on myself to do all the things. I was so upset about it, but, then... life happened.
Shortly after, I went into creative business with my other half, and we have slowly built something for ourselves all these years we're proud of. And way back in 2015, I was given my first-ever moderator sword (on Twitch), and over time, slowly led me all over, including here with all you lovely fellow DbD people!
Life is beautiful in its surprises and spontaneity, and its easy to forget that when we are often so good at only seeing the negatives.
Be like Pride Birb... show your colors, and never let anyone, including yourself, dull their vibrancy 💗
And if we are posting favorite birds...

I wish you luck with everything and am happy to see that your taking control of your life, I know that feeling a little too well sometimes. I graduated from college in '22 and for what felt like the majority of my life, never could find that intrinsic motivator as you called it. It took me hitting a low point to realize what truly made me happy and pushed me forward. I'm glad that you seemed to find yours :)

I love puffins! My dream would be to see them in real life.
Any plans to feature extinct birds?
I have none planned at the moment apart from the dodo, but if you have any suggestions, fire away!
-
Puffins! I haven’t met a soul who didn’t fall in love with these fellas. Sometimes called the “clowns of the sea” they’re very, very social birds who are naturally very curious.
(I'm going to be referring to the Atlantic Puffin in particular here. I don't know much about the other species of puffin.)
(A friend I obtained when I was on Iceland last summer. Snagged him at the very last opportunity I had, because we were boarding the plane back home 15 minutes later)
Like other pelagic birds, puffins live on the ocean, bobbing about until the time comes to nest. Then they arrive at the colony en-masse. Thousands upon thousands of birds can live in a single colony.
https://twitter.com/skokholmisland/status/1769777786904867017?s=46&t=MOM9e-MaWyIGCyqm4Ri7dwIf you’ve ever visited such a colony, you’ll know they can be rather tricky to traverse. Puffins dig a roughly 2-meter hole into the ground where they’ll build their nest. (If you’re visiting at the right time, you can see dirt flying everywhere!) You can imagine that because all breeding pairs will be digging their own hole (or taking up residence in an abandoned one), there’s a lot of holes in the ground. Watch your step, you don’t want to twist your ankles. Though you really don’t need to worry about crushing any eggs, they’re really deep into the nest!
Puffins are easily recognised by their clear white underside, black topside, the markings at their eyes and, of course, the distinct, vividly coloured beak.
Thing is, this is not the “default” appearance of the atlantic puffin. The bright beak in particular only appears during the breeding season. Outside breeding season, this distinct beak shrinks considerably, and their distinct black-white plumage fades in colour, making them resemble their younger versions (technically it works the other way round, but y’know)
I’m not completely sure where the rest of the beak goes, but you can see it’s a whole different look!
Puffins are creatures of habit, much like ourselves. They are monogamous (they have a single partner throughout their whole lives), and will keep using the same nest for the rest of their lives. That means that if you keep coming back every year to the same colony, you’ll be encountering the same birds as before!
Now I mentioned the monogamy, but there have been observed cases of puffins “divorcing” each other. This is thought to happen because the one puffin thinks their partner isn’t properly taking care of the chick.
Speaking of chicks, puffins typically have but a single one, and only a single brood. These pufflings are raised near-exclusively on sand eels and herring, which both parents will be delivering in turns.
What you may not know, however, is that pufflings fledge at night, instead of day. Using the moon as their point of orientation, they fly out whilst predators are fast asleep. As they make distance, they immediately chart the oceans they’ve explored. It’s thought that puffins use their first three years after fledginng to establish a map of the oceans.
Puffins can can fly surprisingly far away from their home, yet always know their way back. Flight pattern studies have shown that, no matter how far they’ve flown, they always remember where they came from. One pair studied in St. John’s revealed that the two birds separately make their way all the way over the Napels and New-England respectively, yet are able to return to the colony within 2 weeks when the time comes.
Now, because young pufflings fledging orient themselves using the moon, they can get in a spot of trouble in our modern world.
They can get confused by our civilisation’s lights, and instead of the open ocean, they wind up stranded in human towns.
In Iceland, there’s an entire event dedicating to helping these lost puffins out. The local population gathers to locate and catch the birds, to keep them safe until morning. And then when the time’s right, the Icelandic people will take the birds and toss ‘em off a cliff, from where they’ll fly off as they should. From there, the puffins can start their journey.
I’ve already mentioned that puffins are a very social species. They have shown a willingness to adapt certain mannerisms of their neighbours, just to fit in better.
The best example of this is seen in one particular colony that was started by conservationalists. They used decoy puffins to make the real puffins feel more at ease. Thing was, these decoys stood atop a stick. The real puffins saw this, and started standing on one foot, imitating what they saw their “neighbours” doing!
Lastly, the common name of the puffin is actually a misnomer! In English, anyway. There’s another bird, the Manx shearwater, whose scientific name is “puffinus puffinus”, which entirely unrelated to the bird we now call puffins. The original “puffin” name came from the puffed meat of the Manx shearwater. Supposedly, the name shifted towards the aulk that bears the name now thanks to its similar nesting habits.
Lastly lastly: I can’t talk about puffins without mentioning the sound they make. It is often compared to the sound of a revving chainsaw.
https://youtu.be/TkVFsr9pqvw?si=okXssJJ-4Gc5r51p^ the atlantic puffin, in MS paint, by me :)

oh and hey fridge time to have another bird takeover i see
PUFFINS GO
:) i have been summoned (:
Did you know there's an anual event on Iceland where they throw puffins off a cliff?
This is a good thing, because they're pufflings that have just fledged (they do so at night) and have gotten lost because of human civilisation's light pollution. The Icelandic people spend the night chasing after the pufflings, catching them to keep them from harming themselves.
They're tossed off the cliff at the crack of dawn, where they can safely start their journey exploring the oceans.

Just have to look at it from a different perspective. For example, after enough work from the killer amounts up to roughly 3 hooks, the killer can infect another player. Once this happens, that survivor swaps sides to the killer's side and only wins with the killer. That survivor has essentially been "eliminated", but instead of being eliminated, it's a turncoat. Could have a few various ideas on what that turncoat survivor can do (and what the real survivors could try to do to counter it), but even has an SWF, he'd want to keep his identity secret from his buddies.
That’s a whole different game mode, not a killer power.
